There is only hard to find street parking unless you come at odd times, like 4 pm. Its very hard to figure out where the place actually, and with the chain link fences you have to wander around to find the trailer youre looking for. That said, the Thai food trailer I was hunting for was well worth the extreme hassle to find it. The tom kha with tofu was the best Ive ever had

I went to R&B steak and Fries. I had been wanting to go there for a long time It did not disappoint The owner was so friendly and the cashier was very nice as well. The food was so delicious Will definitely be stopping again.

Classic Austin trailer park-stage-venue-hangout spot on city-owned land. Definitely a passion project for the area with cobbled together seating and a come-as-you-are vibe.

Nice venue. Unfortunately not a very well-organized jam. Some people got to play repeatedly or for a long time, others were not called at all. Those who came and waited but didnt get to play werent even acknowledged.

We come here for food occasionally. Theres a good size parking lot (unpaved) which is rare for anywhere close to downtown. The area has recycled/donated kids toys, but the grass area is full of stickers so not the best for kids rolling and falling as they run around. There seems to be a form of community garden here which is cool, but it seems mostly forgotten. One of the best food trucks is here, Nissi Vegmex, and other vegan trucks come and go. Ive never seen it busy here, even on the weekend, so I dont know what thats all about. But we only come during the day so maybe its busier at night? Tip for visitors and delivery drivers - the parking lot access is in the back on the opposite street of where GPS takes you, one street north. Free parking in the lot and on the street back there.

My first blues jam with my father was held at Kenny dorhams backyard Jam. This is a fantastic venue with a high class sound system. Even Outdoors the entire then you sounds like you are in an open-air Stadium. Definitely hit it up on Monday for the blues jam and Thursday for the Jazz Jam!

I was on Saturday at Kenny Dorhams Backyard enjoying an evening of live outdoor music as part of the International Grooves series. This time they had music from South America by Duo NorteSur and Hora Once. It was a great performace. Duo NorteSur plays a mixture of Latin-American, Andean, world and classical music. Hora Once plays Nuevo and Classical Tango, Latin folk music, and world music. At the end of the evening they played together and it was amazing.
