Overall a little disappointed. Came in with a party of 7 with reservations and was seated promptly. We ordered some appetizers and drinks which all went well. Appetizers were Calamari, Casio e Pepe Arancini and Grilled Bread and Oil. Calamari was ok but way over breaded and had more of an onion ring vibe going on. The Casio e Pepe Arancini was excellent! Highly recommend it and make sure you combine it with some of the pesto sauce that comes with it. The grilled bread was good and straight forward. After we ordered our salad and main course and this is where it was off. The salads came out promptly and were fine but right after the salads came out our server came over and informed us that our meal was ready and asked if we wanted it now or wait till after we finish our salad. We politely asked for them after our salad but there was really no choice as as soon as they walked away the food runner arrived with our plates with no questions and promptly served them to the sides of the salads that we had just received. Now if this was a casual restaurant I can understand but I do not believe North Italia would state they are a causal restaurant. The food was decent. A few of us had the Bolognese which was very good and good size portion. There was also a Wild Shrimp Scampi that was ok, shrimp were a bit on the small size but had a good flavor. We had ordered some drink refills as well during some of this and the food runner said he would tell our server, in which we watched as he just went to pick up more food and never even spoke to anyone on the drink refills. Lastly the place has two single use restrooms for a fairly large capacity place. Several times there was a line for the restrooms and while the place had plenty of people it was not completely full.

We had fun day in Austin and someone in our party recommended this place. We did not have reservations but after 15 minutes, they found a table for us on the patio. Our waiter was very attentive and did a great job. It took awhile for drinks and I was surprised that they did not serve any bread, which is usually an Italian staple. You could order some and pay for it. We ordered our food and it came in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered the spicy rigatoni vodka, pizza, chicken parm, and the salmon. All of the food was really good. I would definitely come back and try some of the different dishes.

This place is bad. Any Italian restaurant I ve ever been to serves warm bread, complementary this restaurant served cold bread. The Scallops were room temperature served on top of rice or couscous that was cold this dish was to be hot it was far from it. Margarita pizza was not cook properly or something because the crust on bottom was still white and soggy. Limp pizza crust the worst.. the server only checked on us once more then half thru the meal. When server came we told him about the cold scalloped meal and he did have a new one made just to be fair I needed to mention that. I personally would never go here again.

I have a love-hate relationship with the Domain ATX. There are great restaurants but I feel like the whole atmosphere is bougie. Well, my friend wanted to meet at North and I hesitantly said yes. I m glad I did. We got there during happy hour and got a beautiful bottle of sparkling rose for only $25! The food was spectacular and so affordable. We enjoyed everything so much that we even ordered a pitcher of sangria to cap off the evening. Kirstyn, our waitress, was kind and patient. She was also the bartender so I was so shocked at how attentive she was! Overall, I loved everything about North except the noise level. It wasn t obnoxious but I d rather quieter environment to chat with my friend. But I cannot wait to come back to North and take other friends here- it was such a great experience!

We used to eat here all the time pre 2024. The company lowered the food quality (shredded chicken? No), got rid of loved dishes and bar drinks and raised the prices. They have some stellar long time servers, but their newer staff arent at the same level. The management is amazing, and the bar staff are on point. Locally, I love them, but the corporate people are making bad choices.

Way too loud but thats kind of the vibe I am getting from the modern restaurant. Quick greeting. Quick seating with our reservation. Main course took to long to arrive and when I asked it showed up but it showed up hot and it was tasty. I wish they would offer a simple bread with the meal. You can order some but its expense. My view on bread at Italian restaurants is like chips at Mexican. We dont pay for that unless its a speciality like nachos for example. Got thr meatballs from North and they were really good but we could soak up the sauce. At least serve 4 pieces of bread with that. Otherwise no problem

Food was decent, but like I think most of the other comments my issues was with service. They act a bit snobby around here, and I cannot figure what for... the service isnt there and the food is slightly better than okay. It was lunch rush, but we ordered bread and olive oil to start and after 25 minutes I finally caught the waiter to ask about the bread and he was gonna go check. Well 15 minutes later nothing, but our food finally came out. I told the waiter that I think we are okay without the bread now... I did receive an apology, but definitely that was it. Im not entitled to anything, however I was kinda over it at that point and ready to move on with my day after spending 45 minutes waiting for some okay chicken parm and a pizza. If they actually had decent service I think it has potential, but its overrated in my opinion. I did see someone else with bread and olive oil on my way out, and it looked really good, was a shame they couldnt get their act together so I could have known...

It s always busy when I pass by, and this time was no exception we added our names to the list and waited about an hour and a half to get seated. Among the dishes we ordered, the Italian Farm Salad, Squid Ink Tonnarelli Pasta, Margherita Pizza, and Fried Calamari were all delicious, but the Italian Farm Salad and Squid Ink Tonnarelli Pasta were especially outstanding! The atmosphere was great, and both the food and service were excellent.

The ambiance is pretty good but they keep the tables and seating really close to one another. The accompanying pesto based sauce was quite good as well. For mains, we ordered 2 pasta dishes (bolognese and a chicken/pesto one) and the pig pizza. All mains were excellent. Would reorder all of them again and again. One annoying part: they had a pina colada mocktail priced at $11. Seriously, $11 for some fruit juice?

What to Say The service was excellent, impossible to generate any complaints, however what I paid for the required product seemed unfair to me. My Service was some Pizzas. And perhaps unfortunately for me, several factors that were sometimes difficult to control came together. Very small for the price and I got something better for a third. And as for its presentation or content, it leaves a lot to be desired. Burnt pepperoni and off-cooking, perhaps too much flame due to the condition of the premises. IT WAS FULL, Allow me to give you a vote of confidence for next time. A Bad Day We all have... The comment in quotes does not justify anything, but I consider that it is a point in favor of the restaurant to be taken into account. Well, I do not intend for the establishment to close on the contrary, I hope that in the city we will have more good places to enjoy excellent food.

The STROZZAPRETI was so creamy and a large enough portion that we were able to split it and it was more than enough. The ROASTED FINGERLING POTATO were very tasty but a little dry. This is my go to girls night spot. Anytime I want to go somewhere I know what I will get, and to simply order a normal meal (I am keto - but North is easily one of the most dietary friendly places I have been) without any modifications. The staff are phenomenal. My friend couldn t figure out what to get. The waiter was amazing. He asked questions first and then guided her based on her responses. This sounds basic. This is not. She was still pulled between two items and she left it up to him. He got her to try a salad she would never have picked on her own but felt like it was the best salad she had ever had. Bravo. I always end up getting the seasonal fish. Great atmosphere for a Domain restaurant. Get reservations. Vegetarian options: So many! This place also is super accommodating. That s on top of the many veggie options. Dietary restrictions: One of the best at meeting ALL dietary needs. I am keto (think mostly meat) and I went with a vegetarian . We were both thrilled and stuffed. Parking: Park at any domain parking lot.

Like all spots in the domain this one is also busy. We called at 2pm and got a table for 6 on the patio for dinner. Our server was attentive, our food was hot and fresh but less flavorful than we all hoped. It s hard to get authentic Italian food in the US, the menu has a little something for everyone. Parking: Park across the street in the free ramp.

Very poor service! They forgot to put in our phone order and when i showed up after 30-35 mins! They informed me in a not so polite way that my order was forgotten! And we were left waiting too late for a Friday night dinner.

Great service and gluten free options were wonderful. I was able to eat a pasta dish and order a chocolate dessert that was gluten free, the just left off the cookies. Drinks were very good too.

The restaurant at the domain served raw salmon it was cold to touch at the center of the fish. However, when I showed the dish to the manager, she said if you prefer more well done, you should let us know next time . Or in other words not going to take any responsibility for the dish. My husband and I are never coming back to this place. Both customer service and management needs to be fixed at this restaurant.

This nice lil restaurant is located in the Domain Shopping Center. My daughter had suggested we give this place a try. I ordered the Roasted Salmon dish over some sort of pesto pasta with broccolinni. Delicious! Full of flavor! I would definitely come back.

My first time visiting this Italian restaurant , which looked beautiful and reviews got 4.5 I but was disappointed! My drink Sangria was served in a glass for water I could not hold it comfortably in my hand because it was wet, get special glasses they have in the store, the second I ordered a pizza margarita it was small, narrowed and for the first time I was not offered additional Parmesan cheese, and the main cheese was the minimum - I will not return there again; (unfortunately, because I live nearby! P/s my check 47 $ for one beer, sangria, pizza Margarita.

The food is really quite tasty. The problem is the service. Every time. I can t figure out why this place even takes reservations when you NEVER get seated even close to your reservation time. 10-15 min delay, no big deal. However, an hour + seems to be the norm. Again, really good food- but not that great to have inept service every visit.

From the moment I stepped into your restaurant, I was greeted with the kind of warmth and hospitality that truly sets a place apart. Every interaction with your staff, Mariah and Lex was a testament to a team that not only excels in their roles but does so with genuine passion and a smile that makes the dining experience unforgettable. The attentiveness, courtesy, and professional demeanor demonstrated by your servers turned a simple meal into a memorable occasion. Their recommendations were spot on, their timing impeccable, and their ability to make me feel valued and welcomed was remarkable. Its clear that behind the scenes, there is a culture of excellence and a dedication to not just meeting, but exceeding customer expectations. Please know that your efforts do not go unnoticed and are deeply appreciated. Your team not only served me a meal but also a slice of joy and an evening I will fondly remember. This is my favorite date night restaurant with my husband. Im not sure how they have been able to accomplish this but the atmosphere is somehow happy, relaxed, and upscale. The food is similar: staple Italian while also feeling light and refined. Everything is good but their Caesar salad is better than anyone elses.

This was my wife and my first visit here although we have been to a North Italia in Houston. The food was excellent. My wife had the soup of the day and some olive-oil bread, and I had the rigatoni. Good options were available for drinks and wine too. The service was prompt and friendly and prices decent. I would definitely go back. We did first start to go over to the bar after we finished our meal to have one last drink but the place was closing so we went to another place nearby.

Worst Italian vegetarian food we ever had. They served all dishes very cold and even Garlic bread so nothing was in edible condition and needed to chew harder to take a single bite of the bread. We explicitly asked them to re-serve hot food but they brought the same cold food again with a big smile on their face that here is hot food. We wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone especially if youre vegetarian. This restaurant is just overrated.

My family came by for lunch while visiting Austin and were not disappointed! I had the strozzapreti and it was delicious. My dad could not stop raving about the tomato soup that was served as the soup of the day. Our server was Tim and he was very personable and paid very good attention to detail to ensure that we had a great experience. Next time we re in Austin, we will definitely be back to eat here! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-sensitive options are available
