We cannot thank Julie Sparks and the team at J. Sparks Law enough for completely changing our lives. My husband was arrested in 2017 and at this time he had no legal status in the United States after his DACA had expired days prior to the arrest. He was facing a criminal charge with an immigrant hold which was devastating for us. We didn t know who to turn to for guidance through the legal process. Luckily, using google I was able to find Julie Sparks for his immigration legal defense. Since the very beginning she was responsive, empathetic and just a great person to work with during this difficult time. She knew exactly which road to take to get my husband from county jail to immigration holding to start the process of removal from the United States. From there, we had a few immigration court hearings and spent a lot of time waiting for an appeal of removal while Julie worked behind the scenes to research and plan his legal defense. Ultimately, after 6 years of working with Julie and her team, my husband is now a US visa holder. I highly recommend attorneys, Julia Sparks and Martha Aranda. My family hired the firm to assist in my dads complicated adjustment of status application. Julie and her team have been helping my husband and his children become citizens of the US, through the green card process. We have been 100% happy with all of their help. Very disappointed with this law firm and lawyer. All of a sudden they couldnt help people detained in pearsall but they knew my husband would eventually go there than the lawyer kept forgetting my husbands ID # & when I had called to see if my husband had a bond the lawyer didnt know, had forgotten to call and told me to call. Even the bail bonds company called me faster than this lawyer I had. They also had 5 months to find an important paperwork but failed at that too because the lawyer thought something else even though I had the exact date . So basically paid 1,000 for the lawyer to talk to my husband for an hour.

I want to tell my story and say something about Julie. As an immigrant, I joined my exhusband in August 2016, we lived with each other just few weeks, and the man has completely changed as if he just wanted to bring me here, because theres nothing hugely wrong that happened that can encourage him for not continuing the marriage, my family respected him so much because they respect me at first and they trust my choices. I had a very complex immigration case, none of the options on the I-485 really applied to my scenario. I was able to get Military parole in place on my own, but once it came to the I-485, we quickly realized we were at a point that we were going to need a lawyer, which I was really wanting to avoid due to lawyers being so expensive. My husband started looking for lawyers and found Julie. We scheduled a consultation (in November) and Julie quickly found just how not normal of an immigration case I had. She immediately started doing some research, told us right up front depending on how things play out, it can be affordable, or end up being very expensive. Thankfully, she found something that really helped my case not be a really expensive case. Julie submitted all the paper work for us, did everything that was needing to be done for my case. Im so thankful for all of Julies hard work! I can finally visit my family back home and show my kids where I came from without fear of not being allowed back in, but now all the borders are closed, FIGURES!! Julie and everyone she works for is friendly and Julie was very easy to work with and we were able to do payments so we wouldnt have to come up with the money up front to not put us in a bind, which helped out greatly as we ended up sinking nearly $10,000 into our house to get it sold after having already sunk $45,000 into it.
