Until I worked with Berner law, I never thought Id have a positive experience with an immigration law firm in the US. Ive been exposed to multiple firms throughout my time here and none of them were positive experiences, the other firms would take weeks to respond to simple questions, had completely opaque processes and took months longer than any quoted timeline. I worked with Daniel on an H1B transfer and he was kind, communicative and very quick to respond, no matter how many questions I had. He took the time to explain each step and gave me very clear timelines and expectations. He took what is usually an extremely stressful process and made it seamless and quick. I contacted a lot of law firms after reading many 5 star reviews claiming that X person was the best Immigration lawyer in Austin. What I know is Mr. Berner was accessible, honest, compassionate, skilled at his craft and detail oriented. He didnt try to solicit my business at all or hide his fee schedule behind a paid first consultation. He tried to arm me with as much information I needed to make sure I was setting my case up for success. After talking to 4 other lawyers, I ended up exactly where I started. Hes not the cheapest but he follows up the quickest and unlike almost every other firm, did not need to look up laws and get back to me. He knew them in great detail and makes the other top ranked lawyers I talked to seem inexperienced.

Berner Law is an exceptional immigration firm. I work for a high-technology engineering startup in California. My employer hired Berner Law to submit a petition for my EB-1 work-based green card. My particular engineering field is very specific and my position is highly unique. Daniel very swiftly understood the technical characteristics of my position, the features that made it unique, and the accomplishments that made me eligible for an EB-1. Daniel managed my wifes green card process from start to finish. His work is impeccable in every respect. I cannot speak more highly of his depth of knowledge, attentiveness and availability. We were working under a fairly tight deadline and at no point did I fear we would miss it. Daniel had it covered. Daniel helped me to get my green card via EB-1, and by no means, it was an easy process. I had to leave the country and until paperwork went through. He was always responsive to e-mails, text messages and phone calls for any sorts of questions. He never rushed through the questions and patiently explained each step.
