This may be Austins most impressive building, inside and out. The history of the place is evident in the construction and decoration of all the rooms. Even the restrooms are storied and artistic. For me the pierce work of the central stairway leading up to a stained glass of Texas lone star had the most beautiful artistry. Though its view of the river has been steadily stolen away, the city is fortunate the Austin Womens Club has preserved this gem. The house has its own parking lot with the main entrance on the Western side. The house participates in Austins annual free museum day.

Today I hosted the UnBreakable Women s Conference at the Chateau. From my initial walk through months ago, to the booking, connections, arrangements and day of service, this venue was incredibly accommodating and gracious. The staff was readily available and willing to do whatever it took to make us feel comfortable. Thank you Robin, Christol, wait staff and Limelight catering.

My daughter has chosen to get married here so she took me on a tour recently. If you like historical buildings, it is definitely that. They chose an outdoor wedding in the courtyard. Its very pretty and it should be beautiful at night. Im not a big fan of the reception area, though and was very disappointed to find that nothing could be hung from the chandeliers:( Update: Turned out to be a beautiful wedding. However, the person at CB who oversees weddings is awful at responding to texts, phone calls, and emails. We had so many questions throughout the process and getting answers was very difficult. Also, EVERY little thing was extra... floor length tablecloths, uplights, different chairs, etc. If you do choose this venue just be warned you will have little help from CB.

Chateau Bellevue was a perfect setting for our wedding. The historic building is a great escape from the modern downtown Austin scene. The outside courtyard where we had our ceremony was beatiful and well kept. All of our wedding guests loved the scenery and our vendors had worked with Chateau before so they all had an easier time doing their jobs as well. Amber was so helpful with our barrage of questions and confusion during the entire wedding planning process. We would not have had such a fun and low-stress wedding without her help. We highly recommend Chateau Bellevue for your wedding.

We just fell in love with the venue the moment we saw it. Its a gem! It was perfect for our event with a gathering of about 50 guests (though it can easily accommodate about 100). Amber is the best! She is highly professional. She catered to all of our requests and her communication leading up to the event was excellent. We couldnt have gotten a better venue or a better event coordinator.

My wife and I hosted our wedding here in May and couldnt have been happier with our decision. I believe the venues photos speak for themselves but there is still so much more that deserves praise. The excellent network of wedding services that were offered at their open house stream lined so much of the entire process. Their own kitchen had so many incredible options that it was hard to narrow down exactly what we wanted to serve at the wedding. Most of all though was how easy they were to work with. We lived three hours away and their coordinator, Amber, helped in every way imaginable which was not always easy given that we live in Houston. I jokingly called her a walking Xanax because there was not a single moment that she was not there to help alleviate any situation or already had the foresight to catch a problem and have it taken care of beforehand. She fulfilled her duties as a wedding coordinator marvelously, impeccably representing Chateau Bellevue and the Austin Womens Club with the highest regard, and deserves the most credit for our memorable experience with this venue.

I had my wedding on 6/1/2019 at Chateau Bellevue and it was the best day of my life!!!! From the first time I ever contacted them, everyone I spoke to was so professional, kind, and knowledgeable. It was love at first sight when we went to tour and made a decision to book that day and this was after touring 5 other venues (some even in Houston) but we felt so at peace with booking at Chateau Bellevue. I cant sing their praises enough because every staff member I encountered was amazing. They do all the catering which scared me at first but I went to the tasting and brought two girlfriends, we were absolutely blown away by everything we tasted. The food was sooo incredible it was hard to make a decision! I got to personally meet the chef that night and he made a hybrid menu for me to make sure I was able to include everything I wanted. When I went to have my alcohol and decor dropped off the day before the wedding, I met one of my bartenders (the in-house bartender) - I didnt have a signature drink and she offered to make one up for me (everyone couldnt stop talking about how good it was). Amber is the sales and events manager who I worked closely with and she puts her heart and soul into her job! She is one of the best people Ive ever had the pleasure of working with and she made the whole process flawless. She went above and beyond trying to make sure everything was perfectly organized and truly made me feel so special. The venue speaks for itself in its beauty, but the staff there is what truly made it all perfect. I could keep writing paragraphs about how wonderful Amber and everyone was. Thank you for the most perfect day - yall made it all happen.

Beautiful castle in the middle of downtown. I can only imagine how extravagant this place was when it had river views. Now that the city has grown up around it it detracts from its splendor and appears small until you wander inside. Once inside you can see the various influences of the different owners and of their travels (taking back architectural and wooden work ideas from abroad,) Carefully restored by the Austin Womens group and apparently given the stamp of approval by my fellow homies in the DAR.

The out door court yard is perfect for a large or small ceremony and the cocktail hour. Indoors are so cozy but lively. I attended a wedding at the Chateau Bellevue, Home of the Austin Womans Club. It was a beautiful little venue with a quaint outdoor patio where the ceremony was held. The ballroom had room for about a dozen tables of 6 people with plenty of room for the dance floor. If youre worried about noise from the surrounding downtown area, the wedding reception was held during the middle of FunFunFun Fest without any hint of a festival taking place a few blocks away.

I used Chateau Bellevue as my bridal portrait location and cannot be any more pleased with the venue. It is soooo pretty! At first, I had a hard time paying $250 for 2 hours just to use the facility for my bridal portraits, but it was so worth it. I look at my bridal portraits a lot and still cant get over how gorgeous the house and the grounds are. The only drawback is most of the furniture cannot be moved. I so wanted a picture on a pink couch outside, but we werent allowed to move the couch outside, although Ive seen that couch outside before for bridal portraits. (I was told the ladies of the Austin Womens Club did not want it moved outside anymore.) Despite this rule, we were still able to get a ton of amazing shots.
