Very beautiful view of downtown of Austin. Good trail for walking and jogging. Parking: Parking is very difficult to find. We went first time, Google not guiding properly, we had to take local help.

Visiting the Lady Bird Lake Walk in Austin was a truly rewarding experience. This charming destination offers much more than just a scenic drive; It is an oasis of serenity in the midst of the bustle of the city. Winding trails lined with lush greenery and stunning views of the lake create a perfect environment to relax and rejuvenate. One of the things that impressed me most was the variety of activities available. From walking and jogging to biking and kayaking, there is something for every taste and skill level. Additionally, the numerous benches and rest areas along the way provide perfect places to stop, take a deep, simple breath.

Im certain that Lady Bird Johnson - who famously wished to make America more beautiful by banning billboards - is now rolling over in her grave at all the litter/trash along the shoreline...its an eyesore and an embarrassment to the City of Austin...this needs to be addressed/corrected...either that or rename it: Litter Bird Lake....sad Toilets: They were closed the last time I was there...better make sure you relieve yourself before you go down there Dog-friendliness: People take dogs there, what else can one say?

Our trip to Austin is incomplete without having a walk here. Every time we find it different because new things are still being constructed to beautify it. at one side Colorado river and other side tall building or shaded trees . Birds around based on season . Perfect place to have a stroll as you like. Never completed entire loop but have spent good 1-2 hours on our every visit. Parking: Sundays street parking free at some places

This place is one of my favorites. It can be reached from Riverside and is accessed to Downtown via the different bridges. It is an area where you always see someone walking, exercising or contemplating. Also very active in water activities such as paddle boarding, kayaks, and perch boats. And the view of Downtown is spectacular.

Extremely hard to access if you have a family especially kids or senior people. Horrible experience on a birthday as there was some homeless person that threw gravel from the trail on my head and took me and my family by surprise as I am an Asian and he had all kinds of derogatory comments. First racist experience for a legal immigrant after living peacefully in the US for over 20 years. Not recommended. Unsafe.

The board walk brings you out over the water and really let s you feel one with mighty Colorado. It s many pavilions offer frequently places to sit and relax as you enjoy majestic views of the city. Plus the frequent joggers, pacers, and passers by make anyone never feel like they are alone. It is a must see for any visitor of the city and even offers paddle board rentals for those looking to get out on the water. The only problem is parking is hard unless your up for a longer walk from further down on the Ann Roy hike and bike trail that loops all the way around the city.
