Omg, please just have it! We got the French and the Argentinian ones, both incredible but the French is out of this world!! Veeeery tasty and juicy. The fries and the sauces also amazing, perfect texture and have such quality seasoning. We went today and Adrian who was there was super nice with us. We were shopping at the domain and found this place, very far from our house, but just found out that they just opened here at east side!

Being a snob about food, this place did not fail. The burger was absolutely delicious and juicy. The fries were spot on with crispy and seasoned to perfection. Their that sauce was amazing. This is not the neighborhood for a cheap burger. But the value was still good. The ingredients were premium and the portion size quite filling. The taste was top notch! Had the french burger and the play of the cheese and the jam was unexpectedly pleasant. The regular fries are very good, but the loaded fries are not really worth the up-sell. But other than that, worth a stop.

2024 update: they use veggie burgers now, not beyond patties but still charge an extra $1.50. mine was overcooked and had hard parts, which I saw another reviewer mention, too. 2022: ordered the That French Burger (sub beyond patty) and my boyfriend got the That Mexican Burger. omg sooo delicious!!! pretty sure the tortilla strips on the mexican burger were homemade. 1000% recommend going! each burger comes with a ton of fries and we upgraded one to add the cheese/sauce and it did not disappoint.

got the french and argentinian burgers. french was awesome perfect to me love the mix of brie jam and mushrooms, the argentian tastes really fresh and a little more stout, its good but its more filling i think bit heavier. Im sure everything here is probably great, at $16 theyre definitely gourmet burgers. extra $4 for loaded fries not worth imo fries are good on their own loaded not great.

I had high hopes after reading the reviews but sadly the burger lacked any trace of flavor or seasoning. My husband got the Mexican which ironically was flavorless and was all texture according to him. I got the classic and just regretted paying $15 for a flavorless burger. We left feeling sad and dupped.

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I was so pleased! The truffle fries were amazing! I also ordered their smash burger and it was the best burger, Ive had on a long time. Everything is perfectly seasoned with quality ingredients and their portions filling. I will definitely be back. Parking: I was somewhat confused about the parking. I wasnt sure of what was hotel parking or common.

Can I just say this might be the best burger I ve tasted? Probably yes! We went here on a weekday evening and ordered the French burger . It came with fries and the burger patty itself was so rightly cooked to juicy perfection ! The arugula, mushrooms and berry jam were an exquisite combination. It was probably somewhat on the sweet side instead of savory due to missing spice/sour elements but was still really good and much better than the ones I have had ! The fries were usual and nothing special . Hotel parking nearby was convenient and service was prompt.

In Austin for the weekend and this place was right outside our hotel. Super convenient to order online and pick it up. Hamburger was fantastic and so was the loaded fries. The hamburger sauce was amazing, so order extra for your fries! Will eat here again if we are ever back in Austin.

I regret having eaten a burger from here today. While my partner paid for the order to go, That Burger claims they source their veg burgers from Arlos. When I bit into the burger there was an actual rock in my food and it chipped my tooth. Do not eat the veg burgers here unless you want damage to your teeth. Update 1/17/24: I was fortunate enough to go to the dentist who confirmed that the chipped tooth was surface level and could be polished down. Had I bit down into the rock any harder or not had dental insurance it would be a different story. On any other day That Burger would solidly be a 4.5 or 5. They have a creative assortment of flavors that you won t necessarily find at other burger establishments and for a while it was nice that they had a veggie burger. Due to the rock incident, my rating has increased to a 3 (previously a 1). This is mostly because the owner was apologetic, responsive, and willing to help where possible. They also gave a refund. As for Arlo s, it s a shame because I have also patronized their brick and mortar restaurant and can attest they had good veggie burgers, but this experience makes me skeptical of Arlo s quality controls in preventing foreign objects from contaminating their burgers and I probably won t consume another of their veggie burgers anytime soon.

Food was great, I want to come back and try the other burgers. It was a food truck so seating was outside. It was a nice temp to go (in the 70s) but in the summertime it might be too hot. We were staying nearby and made a last minute decision just before closing to order a burger. I ordered online and then went to collect. The wifi had gone down and my order hadn t been received, but the staff were so friendly and helpful and straight away started in my order. As a local foodie, when I see a restaurant that has more than 4.8 stars, I visit. That Burger was absolutely worth a visit. We were looking for a mid to high-tier burger joint (think hopdoddys) and although they are self described as a straightforward food truck, their burgers can only be described as gourmet. We tried their French and American. They use high quality ingredients and prepare the food to-order. Do yourself a favor and try That French Burger: the brie and jam is a magical combination that does not overwhelm the burger itself. The beef is cooked perfectly, not dry at all, and the burger was a good portion size so I actually saved some for next day. Fries are thick and crispy, my husband thought they were perfect. This guy knows what he is doing. My only gripe is that they are not a brick and mortar store, since it is 100 degree Texas summer heat. Definitely will go back for another visit!

That was one awesome burger! I was wondering if the price tag was too high but was not disappointed at all. That French Burger with Brie Cheese and Berry Jam was delicious! Ill start with the food, it was great! The young lady who served me and my husband was very sweet HOWEVER, the cook is a different story. They have outdoor sitting so my husband and I sat down waiting for our food under the heater that was outside. Its currently 53 degrees, upon us sitting UNDER the heater a young man and his lady(white) came and sat to the other side of us. The man asked the cook to move the heater to where him and his lady were sitting because she was cold just as I was which is why we were sitting by the heater. I couldnt even feel the heat anymore. The cook didnt even ASK if my husband and I would be okay with moving the heater seeing as though it was by US to start with and again its 53 degrees so obviously we were enjoying the heat from heater before he abruptly moved it. Good Customer service and kindness go along way regardless to skin color of your customers, you only get 1 first impression and this experience has definitely reminded me yet again how far AMERICA still has to go.

Got the french burger with pesto instead of berry jam. First bite made my eyes roll back. Flavor overload. Couldnt believe how good it was. Tbh, wouldve given 4 stars as the fries were a little too fried and seasoned for my preference, but that burger deserves 6 stars all day long. Will definitely return to try the American. Wish them best of luck.

This place is amazing! I got the french burger and loaded fries (not pictured), and the flavors of everything were incredible. They have a great menu, and it s also in a convenient location. I definitely recommend trying this place out! The owner is nice and pretty cool too :-)

Amazing quality, handmade burgers, and warm employees/owners. Can t really ask for anything more from this convenient local spot in the heart of the Domain! I ve heard good things about the other burgers but I got the American ( ) and it was DELICIOUS. I m not a big eater but I gobbled this up. Their secret sauce is delicious. 5/5

My family wanted a good burger, so I scoured the internet for a highly rated burger place in Austin and stumbled on That Burger. The reviews were stellar and so were their burgers and fries! We had some American burgers and the Italian burger -- with loaded and plain fries! Everything was DELICIOUS and lived up to the hype!! Employees were very friendly, too and the truck appeared clean! Highly recommended!! If you want a great burger in Austin, try That Burger!

Visiting the Dorman and like always was hungry for burger so found this lovely food trailer. I can t believe they making everything from scratch! They bake their own bread, daily fresh meet and they make their own sauces!!! The French burger was recommended honestly I never had the berry jam on the burger before and was absolutely delicious!! I would say a must try this when visiting the Domain. I m sure I will be driving three hours from Houston just to have this burger again! Highly recommend it!

We had the French and American burgers with regular and loaded fries. Everything was really good and cooked well. The French burger hit the spot. There are patio tables available but only a couple of them have a shade umbrella. One of the best burger spots in Austin.

That Burger needs to be everyone s go to burger place in the domain. The food is delicious. That Mexican Burger is everything I could want and more. The guac is amazing, the tortilla chips add the perfect crunch and then the queso fresco just completes it. The staff is also awesome, everyone should go here!

After my daughters basketball practice we were in a different part of town and wanted hamburger and found this burger spot. Like another reviewer we are always on the hunt for the best burgers in town and gave it a try. My wife and daughter quickly stated oh yeah this burger is in another league stating it had a freshness and home cooked taste. The fries were also crispy and nicely seasoned with herbs. Definitely one of the best hamburgers in town. The fact that we were also supporting a local business was an added bonus and we will definitely be back.

I was on the hunt for the best burger in Austin. I read so many lists, articles, and reviews and That Burger was highly recommended, and came out on top of my research to try. I ordered the French, Mexican, and American burgers. Also ordered loaded fries. I couldn t possibly judge a whole place on one item right? (: They were all great, and I would recommend! The American burger was my least favorite though.
