This place gave me the worst diarrhea Ive ever had when I ate there a few weeks ago that sent me to the restroom half a dozen times in a day. I had the spicy burger. A friend of mine also ate there a few days ago with the regular burger and they also had one of the worst diarrheas theyve ever had. Ive had burgers from here that didnt give me problems but its two times now Ive had diarrhea so I wont be going back. I think the Health Department should investigate this places practices because theyre either leaving the meat out too long before cooking it or something else.

I recently visited Buddys Burgers and ordered the Spicy Burger Combo with fries. The burger was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of heat enough to give it a kick without being overwhelming. Amazing burgers, juicy and finger licking good! Seasoned fries were exceptional and the oreo shake was sweet and thick, Ambience was as expected of a burger joint, employees were just there, none helpful at all. Another let down was there was no option for a vegetarian meal on the menu! Employees need extra training on customer service! This burger joint is worth a visit.

Solid burgers. I came in one evening for the Franklin BBQ burger but they had run out. I got a classic double cheeseburger which I thought needed a little more seasoning on the meat and wished the special sauce had more of a pop. My son s mango lemonade was pretty good. The next day, I was able to get my hands on a Franklin burger, and I thought it was great. Well seasoned burgers with a sweet bbq sauce and salty crispy fried onions. The vibe was excitement for the limited time collab. Large community tables and window seating to accommodate guests.

Loved every bite. Quality beef, your run-of-the-mill backyard bbq lettuce and tomatoes. The grilled onions and jalapeño are superb. The seasoned fries arent TOO crunchy like some, and not a single soggy fry. Seasoned fries have some bbq/dry rub-esque seasoning. Price is a little steep, slightly bigger than a P. Terrys burger... but Im willing to pay the $2 extra. The fries are just better. The burger was like it came off the grill from your uncle that has spent the last 5 years perfecting his burger. 7/29 Left unhappy today. Extremely long wait in drive- through. Waited 16 mins in line of only 1 car ahead of me since they took the order until I came to the window. When they finally opened it, they wanted to take my order again. Coz of the system error. He was extremely nice from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, asking how was everything. It was our first time at Buddy s after reading review on NADC burger place and deciding to skip in favor of BB. Someone mentioned you get the same great burger in BB for half price. So, here we are. Aieser welcomed us, gave us a sample of seasons fries, which surprised us, also gave us to taste both of the lemonades! We got the fries and lemonade, good sales tactic. Double spicy burger was very good, so much so my husband got another one. I can tell I m not a big fan of fries, either the seasoning or old oil, not sure. Lemonade pretty good as well. Aieser was very nice to bring the 2 burger to our table. I would come back just for service itself. 2 clean spacious bathrooms. We were joking that he was a new employee and is still being extremely nice, just give him a month or so seriously, nowadays, you don t expect such caring service, especially, at a fast food establishment. This place has gone downhill unfortunately. At one point, I would have ranked it the number one drive through burger in Austin. It was a weekly thing in our household. At times we would go on strictly fry runs for their delightfully crispy flavor that we nicknamed crispy fries . But now I have had 4-5 experiences here that were less than stellar. The fries are consistently served lukewarm or re-heated and are more soggy and not piping hot. The last burger I got from there wasn t warmed thoroughly which I m not sure is safe. I do not blame the staff. This place has gotten more and more press and popularity the past six months which I m sure has been tough on the staff. The line is really long sometimes. Management may need to just pay their staff more or hire additional staff to keep the quality on par with the popularity and price point.

I recently had lunch at Buddys Burger, and it was absolutely amazing! The bun was super supple, and the special sauce was out of this world. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. I loved it so much that I went back for a second burger! The quality of the ingredients really stands out. The beef was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the fresh, seeded Martins bun added the perfect touch. The special sauce complemented the burger beautifully, making each bite a delight. Buddy s burgers are on my top 10 burger places in Austin. They are not advertising a giant burger that hurts later on, but a GREAT tasting burger that isn t dry and packs a good punch to savor that craving for a good burger. I do recommend their season/spicy fry s - it pairs well with their burger. The meals themselves are priced perfectly. Just about $10-$11 for a burger, fry s, and a drink. Got here for Sunday lunch, not crowded but has a decent crowd. They gots beer and a simple burger menu. I got the spicy double with bacon and boy did it hit the spot for me. Along with a side of seasoned Cajun fries. The bun solid, not great but not sweet either. The paddy meat tends to be small which is why I got the double, nice and beefy. Grilled onions and green chilies gives it a mild kick for me. Havent had a good burger since HD, and this place hits the spot for me. The seasoned Cajun fries were nice and crispy, not a single soggy fry for me which I like. The customer service is good and the prices are great. I highly highly recommend trying this place out. My family tried Buddys Burger. We really wanted to like it. But, the burgers were small with 3oz patties and over $6 for a double - which was still a small burger. The patties were seasoned well - but, were dry (not juicy at all). The fries were plain and tasted like they were frozen. The unsweet tea had gone bad in the dining room. I reported the bad tea and received a refill from the drive through container - which was also sour. Im summary it was not with the drive there. I ate a double burger, the fries werent with the calories (my wife felt the same about the fries), and my son and I picked up something else on the way home. The chocolate shakes had cinnamon in them. Neither my wife or son finished theirs. Although, I didnt order a shake I tried my wifes and kinda liked the different flavor of the chocolate shake.

DELICIOUS!!! We stopped here on our way out of Austin and were genuinely happy we did! This is what all fast food should be!!! Hand pressed, fresh and seasoned burgers, so hot and yummy! Fresh veggies, a real tomatoe fresh cut, and very tummy seasoned fries. All of it was hot and delicious and the service was great. Will def be back!!

I don t understand why this burger place is not a chain yet. This place deserves more than just one location. The burger is sooo juicy and the flavor is spectacular from the patty to the fresh toppings to the delicious sauce. Today we tried their strawberry milkshake for the first time and omg it is addicting. I even noticed they added cinnamon to it which is brilliant it boosted the strawberry flavor. Not to mention their scrumptious fresh seasoned fries and special sauce spicy and mild. Love this place and wish to see more branches all over Texas and nationally. Just the service could get quicker especially when there is a long queue that s why I gave a 4 rating.

The service was a bit slow but otherwise the food was good. I wished they served onion rings. I ordered the spicy burger but it wasnt spicy. It did have a good flavor. Well visit again

This was my very first time coming to Buddys Burgers. It was the closest I came yo a smash burger and it was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are really nice. The parking is pretty tight, and there is no outside seating. I definitely recommend them!!! Loved it!!

This is so much more special than your typical fast food burger! We are from Corpus and love trying new burger joints. Buddy s did not disappoint. DELICIOUS The manager Carla R was a sweet heart and answered all our questions. Order everything and take more to go! Food

I always LOVE coming to Buddys for a quick bite to eat. A good consistent burger and fries whenever I need that pick me up. I recommend the double with cheese and seasoned fries! Parking: Always has a ton of parking for people to come and go.

I ve been eating here since the first time it opened, it s been years and it s no a tradition for my friend and I every time I come to Austin to drop by and get 2 spicy doubles, season fries and sweet tea. Haven t tried anything on the menu we didn t like, and always friendly service. Obviously nothings perfect but that s fine by me. Haven t been disappointed yet.
