Is a little too noisy for me. Went with some family members. Menu not very legible, pics doesnt do the restaurant any justice. Cant tell what youre ordering. Ended up following by wifes lead and just getting a bean taco with cheese. Would I go back in the future for it? Probably not. Service was ok. Parking: Limited parking. Spaces small. Hard to come in and out because its right on the main street.

Great place something about the way the food is prepped and presented on the plate the spices and seasonings really compliment each other in every bite went there the other day and tried some of their tortilla soup it was delicious. But one thing I didnt understand when I asked if I could order an alcoholic beverage in the drive thru and they said no. Well then y have it on the menu on the drive thru. Just saying lol . But good authentic Mexican food.

I am a medical device sales rep that is buying food for inservices a lot for breakfast and lunch. I have purchased breakfast tacos from here before and ordering them and then paying for them when I pick them up. Now, for some reason they want me to drive across town to pre pay. Pre pay I have no problem with but when you tell me you cannot take my cc over the phone (Which I own a current business and have used several merchant companies and know that everyone will allow you to key in the cc # for payment) or just write down my cc # and phone #. I guess they have all the business they need right now. Hi Ho it is. Thanks HI HO for taking my order.

I went and got the Bean and Cheese nachos and the beef enchilada plate. Well the jalapeños that I got for the nachos smelled like polish remover. I went back to try to get a refund and they told me they couldn t do a refund because it wasn t on a credit card I paid with cash. Then they didn t even want to remake my order because I had put the juice from the jalapeño on my food and the jalapeños they said no. Because I had taken a few bits before adding the juice and jalapeños. They wouldn t give me the manager or owners name. They were rude. So I will be going tomorrow to speak with the manager because they said I couldn t do it today. I will never go back there!

I bought the chorizo con huevo taco on a flour tortilla and it was awful! So much grease, it soaked through the tortilla. The egg with bacon taco was just as bad. The egg was way overcooked. Never shall i get anything from there.

I called ahead of time to find out what the lunch special was and it was Calabasa con Pollo, so we ordered two plates through the drive-through when I got home mine had no calabasa which was the reason I had ordered this , I live far from there, it not easy just to return to prove to them, I told them I could provide pictures, we also waited for quite a while before receiving our order, mind you were were the only ones in the drive through, the other plate you could tell had been warmed in microwave to the point the container bubbled up, I called this morning and the man that answered was very rude, saying it was policy to return the food back that day, check your order before leaving! Won t return ! Feb 20 2024, disappointed!

I changed from getting el sol to getting Santa Rosa. The food is good. When I actually get what I order!!! The past 3 times Ive been there they have forgotten to give me beef in my enchiladas but still charge me for it and Im not about to go back for a container of beef. So Im left choking on the cheese enchiladas and end up not eating it. And its not like Im gonna go through my bags of food and cut open my enchiladas to check if theres beef. Thats stupid. Im annoyed and hangry right now

I have been disappointed lately by my takeout orders from several local Mexican restaurants that I thought were good in the past so I decided to try Santa Rosa. The lady at the drive-thru is very nice, the preparation of the dinner was prompt and the food (plate #33) was EXCELLENT. I was also very pleased to see the work on S Staples is finally done!

Found this great authentic Mexican food fare restaurant on our recent trip to Corpus. Fresh food, slow cooked meats, enchiladas that cut like butter. Old style hot sauce. The parking lot was packed at 12:45, an excellent sign. It appears to a favorite of local workers. Great prices!

Ordered tripe tacos, medium crispy. It was loaded with onions and cilantro being the main ingredient with little stale over cooked trip. Stale and overcooked is not crispy not worth loosing a tooth over it. Don t recommend. She said they can cook anything with an overconfident smirk. I doubt she s tried the food they sell. Overpriced and non edible food. Need to work on technique before you can sell food. I went there based on reviews. Never again

2 years ago was the first time eating here, we were visiting from Kentucky. There was seven of us in the party at the last minute before they closed surprisingly they accommodated us and what a surprise we got. The food was excellent and very authentic Mexican food, down to the flour tortillas, they were homemade. The pricing was very good for every meal they had. The outside we were very skeptical because it did not seem like the overcharming high priced other Mexican restaurants, but inside was so much different, felt like a down-to-earth style restaurant. Well we visited again 2 years later finding it to be just the same with the same high quality food. Enjoyed the atmosphere, it wasnt too noisy, very spacious inside, service was great, but the food was even better. Everything had that authentic Mexican taste that we all desired. Oh and the portions were tremendous, they did not skimp on anything, the refried beans to my surprising was not like some of those that we got before other places where they were slightly runny and spread out to make it look like a more abundant, these beans where thick and tasty, full of flavor as was everything else.
