What a comforting consultation. I m currently shopping for a advisor in family law after my conversation with Garret Smith he reassured me that Angela would be a perfect fit for my situation , I have not met her yet but based off the information I revived from her associate Garret I believe I will potentially stop my surfing here now. Mrs. Brown was by my side through a long 5 year custody battle, she stayed strong against an amazing legal defense and won my case. She worked endless hours and many weekends for my sons, she went the extra mile to reassure me when I was afraid to walk into the courtroom to face my ex husband. She held my hand as we heard the verdict from our judge and shared in my tears and happiness no matter what, she was an amazing lawyer and maintained her professionalism as well as treated us like part of the family. Great opening that addressed the structure of the consultation, expectations, and the purpose of the meeting. Ms. Brown clearly defines what she thinks and explains the next steps that should be taken while working towards a strategic solution to a problem. However, the best part of the consult is Ms. Brown didnt over-talk or speak until I was finished and then she asked any clarifying questions versus making assumptions. Very well done, professional, and customer centric experience.

This is not a neutral unbiased law firm as it presents itself to be. Very manipulative and in line with poor reputations of substandard firm. Angela Faye Brown attempted to play the race card with me as if she was in support of black fathers. This firms represents the status quo of the courts. They will hand you over to the courts and the other attorney like they did me. I filed for separation and divorce, but Ms. Brown and her team treated me like I was on the other team. They are ripping people off. The offer promises they cant keep or make. I dont know why people are falling for Ms Browns legal advice about family and children. She wont even put herself on the webpage to show her true self. She sounds like a caring woman and mother, but she is far from it. Make sure you see her in person. Look at the outward and inner appearance. Spend some time with her. Shes a scam artis. She doesnt represent what you think.

I normally don t write reviews but I had to on this. I used this service as a recommendation from a friend with high hopes of a good outcome. I paid the consultation fee and shortly after the retainer fee. My case was mark as high urgency due the nature of the situation. In almost a years time I spoke with my attorney twice before she left the firm. In one of those time the attorney reached out to tell me she s been dealing with a sick family member. I was informed by email that a new attorney was assigned to my case which ultimately started the whole process over. I was billed again for her to go through the case file. Now I understand if I requested a change of attorneys, then it would make sense to bill me again. It feels like this firm took my money and did absolutely nothing. No communication except calling to collect payment. Never had a court date of any sort. Now they ve filed a motion to withdraw service while my son is still in a unhealthy living situation. A Whole Year Later.

Completely worked over by other lawyer. Extremely bad accounting, they left invoices open just to say I had debts, then paid on those leftover invoices (from awarded attorney fees) in increments of $24 here and 1.38 there. Making it almost impossible for someone who works 40 hours to trace. They know this and took full advantage. I m still owed 5k from the opposing party that s missing. (Don t ever agree to have opposing party pay awarded attorney fees, to your lawyer, in a judgement, no matter what). Angela hides behind her secretary, Susan Manns, who hung up in my face, multiple times, until I resorted to email. In which they proceeded to bullsh*t me the rest of the way. Midway into my case, my lawyer quit the firm. And then acted as if nothing happened and rejoined the case again about a month later. Spoke with multiple secretaries through out the two years of service. Unstable. Would not recommend at all. 0 stars. Dishonest. Waste of your time and money. Will not fight for you. If you hire them, consider yourself prey to all of the above.

Not a very good experience. Did not get value for money spent. The Company promised that whether I had a foreign country service or not, the Father would have to pay support to the child. That gave me hope only to find out that the Company was only interested in money. Spent all my deposit telling me they were studying the Order only to abandon me on my Court date resulting in the Court throwing out my order (cos I had no representation, even though Angela Faye Brown had cashed in my cheque on the same day but abandoned me in Court by not showing up). Bad representation. Money centered Law Firm. No Empathy at all. Only interested only in money. Real Shame

I just wanted to let everyone, ( especially fathers), who is having trouble with visitation, custody, or family law issues, know that what Angela, & her team did for me and my son was short of a miracle! After a very long 7 years of trying to see my son, Angela did what two other law firms could not, I was finally able to not only see my son, but I was granted primary custody of my son! With the help of my wife, my son is now able to get the attention he was in much need of, and is thriving in his school work, and his confidence and personality have change for the better! Angela and her staff went through a horrible, long, and litigious custody battle with me. She was calm, cool and collected through all of it and that helped tremendously. She tries to find solutions and is logical and methodical in her approach. She is not hot-headed and does not create more strife, when other attys do. She de-escalates instead. The well-being of your child(ren) is always on her mind. For anybody who needs an attorney when the custody of their child(ren) hangs in the balance, its a stressful situation (to say the least). Angelas calm poise and methodical approach helped me navigate this difficult path. If you find yourself in such a situation, it is reassuring to have Angela and her team on your side.

Watch out I paid $750 dollars to have them file paperwork and they filed it wrong now I have to get a different lawyer to fix there mess up. Whet to the office to talk to them they locked the door on me and havent even called me back. Watch out....

Lawyers were honest and up front about costs, I never had any sunrises when it came to fees. This firm has lots of resources at their disposal. They responded quickly to all calls and emails and I was never lacking for an update. They also seemed to have great knowledge of the law in the area I hired them for. Will be going back to them if I ever need representation in Texas again. The only reason it is four instead of five stars is the expense. Just me wishing it was a little cheaper.
