Nice venue but the event was packed with people and Im surprised the Fire Marshall didnt shut it down. Way, way too many people. Shoulder to shoulder, front to butt. The venue should have cut off the people coming in and the conference should not have sold so many tickets to this private party. Horrid.

This venue has a convenient location in downtown Austin. However it is showing its use and age. They advertise this venue as being able to accommodate fifteen hundred people , but depending on how you set up an event of that size. I have experienced that it does not accommodate that many people safely or well. The floors need to be leveled .... The wooden flooring is quaint but offers trip hazards and other issues , especially if there are intoxicated guests. I would recommend it for events of 350 - 500 hundred at the most. Also, be aware that the upstairs rooftop area is exposed to the temperature and weather. So if youre counting on using that space it should be something you consider.

We had a great experience hosting our anniversary party at Brazos Hall on the the Rooftop deck! The venue was perfect for our party and our guests really enjoyed seeing the buildings lit up at night. The space was great with the right amount of room for dancing, eating dinner, and mingling. The elevator to the rooftop deck was especially helpful for our older guests that required additional assistance. The staff was also excellent and very professional. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful venue! The rooftop is beyond gorgeous and that wall of greenery screams photo opportunity. I had an opportunity to capture a lil video footage here for a conference event so as a guest I was impressed. This view of downtown Austin is stunning especially with the sunset. The lighting is just enough, but it did get a smidge dark in the deep interiors of the venue. Overall, a lovely spot for any event.

Fairly spartan venue. The upstairs open-air area is nice, though without much of a view. Steep stairs might make it difficult for the elderly. On the main level. The stage is very useful for a band/musical offering. Acoustic was very average.

Great venue. I really liked the open decks and the large inside spaces. We went to an event here and it was terrific. Im not sure if they provided the food as well, but it was spectacular. The staff here was always very friendly for the whole evening.

A stalwart SXSW venue for so many years. A great location that can accommodate quite a few people on the first floor while having a second floor patio experience for guests and VIPs separately. Its a bit gnarly and rough around the edges but loading in and out is pretty easy with the side door and alley entrance options. Stairs and elevator access to the patio upstairs. Pretty good speed on the internet access and great support from Rightround and their expert staff.

The venue was very nice but the head of their security acted liked a child. After explaining that the recipients needed to get in early for a photoshoot, instead of just asking someone in charge he threw a mini tantrum before stomping off. He returned 30 seconds later to let them in.
