Kell is a delight to work with. He explains things in a way thats easy to understand and works hard for you. His office is very busy so they dont accept every case they have put in front of them but if youre lucky enough to have him represent you, he really puts up a fight for you and works tirelessly to get you the compensation you deserve. When I first called Kell s office, I was at a point of frustration, exhaustion, and fear that I didn t know if I had it in me to tell my story yet again, in search of help. Geni listened with empathy and assured me this was a fight Kell would take on. Soon after, I spoke with Kell and he promised to take my case as far as I wanted to go. The care they showed throughout my case, was nothing short of amazing. They are kind, patient, thoughtful, and brilliant (and TOUGH) fighters for justice. Employment discrimination cases are long and lonely battles; Kell and Geni eased my worries, made me laugh, and never once let me feel like they weren t on my side and giving it their all. He is not just knowledge about employment law and the process of practicing he has experience in any and every situation you could possible be going through. Contacted Mr. Simons office with a fairly urgent need to discuss a concerning employment situation. Although I was told his schedule was full for at least two more weeks, Mr. Simon contacted me the next day and provided very valuable, practical and understandable feedback. And he did so at no charge, vs. the $200+ fee that other law offices required, just for an introductory phone call. He listened patiently, responded thoroughly and succinctly, asked great questions and displayed great empathy. I enthusiastically recommend Mr. Simon to anyone who needs, or even thinks they might need, employment legal services.

Just the absolute best experience! Mr. Simon was kind enough to set time aside from his very busy work schedule to speak with me to see if we would even be able to pursue justice. He walked me through every step of the process and offered me insight into how to adequately start the justice process. Every other attorney got details from a paralegal and decided to not pursue my case without even speaking to me. Mr.Simon is the BEST! So thorough and he really knows what he is talking about. Just the simple fact that he gave me insight to be able to do my due diligence and make decisions that were best for me...remarkable!! I asked him, what other area do you practice because I need to have this professionalism and this attentiveness in every area of my legal life! The positive reviews that you see about Kell are on point! I was skeptical at first when I chose to call Kell but was pleasantly surprised about his transparency and honesty. Kell laid out the blueprint about what I should expect with my case and until what point will he guarantee representation. I spoke with several lawyers before choosing to go with Kell. Submitted my case information, was contacted, and they were interested in the case - UNTIL I mentioned that i was a devout Christian and that I had been retaliated against for my beliefs and was terminated for standing up for my beliefs - it was at that time i was told: Oh, Im sorry, we dont take cases like this. It was fine until you found out I believe in and follow the Lord Jesus. The bible says well endure these types of things, and it just makes us better people. Its unfortunate that these people, and most in America, dont want anything to do with Jesus or Christianity, and that/ this is whats wrong with our country. I will be praying for these poor lost souls, for judging me and my situation. God will lead me to the right attorney, as will He lead you. Avoid attorneys like this. Avoid them.

I found Kell when randomly searching for an employment attorney in Austin. It was a shot in the dark, but what a find! I dont even know where to start because I have so many favorable things to say about Kell. As soon as I had my first chat with him about my potential case, I felt confident he would easily become a trusted advisor and was pleased he was able and willing to work with me. I contacted a dozen of attorneys about a possible employment dispute. I was quite frustrated that no attorney would tell me straight away if I had a legal case or not without having me pay up to $350 for an one-hour consultation. That was until I contacted Kell Simon s office. Kell called me back the same day. After listening to my story for a few minutes, over the phone, Kell told me that I did not have a legal case, he also gave me very good suggestions on my next steps. All for 15 minutes or so, without charging me a penny! Do not get me wrong, I am more than willing to pay fairly for an attorney and his/her service if I pursue a legal case. I just resent that so many attorneys would not tell me whether I have a legal case or not, until having me pay $350 for a consultation?! It made me feel that those attorneys were after my $ regardless, that does not instill trust. Through this brief interaction with Kell, his professional candor, honest advice and his attitude of acting in the best in a potential customer made a deep impression on me. He is a rare exception. I had a contractor / employment contract that I needed reviewed. He got back to me quickly, we sat down and went through the parts I had questions on. We changed some minor things to clarify them and better protect both parties and the company agreed to those changes. Kell Simon was simply excellent in assisting with my husbands severance issue and our many questions, and we felt so comfortable with him. He was highly knowledgeable and responsive beyond our expectations. Even though he told us he was going to be in the middle of a big trial for part of the time he was working with us, he went out of his way to make himself available to us by phone and was quick to respond when we contacted him--we were quite surprised by this. He really seemed to go out of his way, and we never felt rushed. He seemed generous with his time and very patient and understanding with our concerns and took the time to thoroughly explain things to our satisfaction. He gave us really smart advice that resulted in a very good outcome, and he gave us realistic expectations from the start. He is also a really personable and friendly fellow as well. After getting laid off my job unjustly, and after other attorneys turned me down, Kell personally called me and advised that he would take my case. Over the past few months, with Kell staying in close touch with me, we were able to obtain a favorable result. We didnt have to go to court and I felt justice was served on my behalf. I retained Kell Simon to assist me with a disability discrimination case due to a long-term illness within the workplace. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and expertise I experienced as a client of Mr. Simon. He is the most efficient, proactive, thorough attorney I have ever worked with & he was a true advocate for me throughout the entire case. Mr. Simon responded to me within the same day via email or phone which is so rare these days, he was incredibly proactive in updating me about the status of my case and offered sound, practical advice along with true compassion and of course ended with a very favorable resolution. In addition, I called multiple attorneys even paying one a consultation fee prior to deciding on Mr. Simon. One of the main reasons I made my final decision was due to speaking with Geni Simon, the firm s office manager (and Mr. Simon s wife) who took my initial call. She was incredibly responsive, sharp-as-a-tack intelligent and extremely warm. She said Mr. Simon would call me back that day and he did! I sought Kell out in an effort to right a wrong. I was all set to go on FMLA that had been pre-approved. The last day of work prior to my surgery I was fired without cause. With Texas being a right to work and an at will state, I did not think I had very many means of recourse. I did not have any delusions that this was going to be a slam dunk and some sort of a financial windfall for me, nor was that my goal. I just wanted my prior employer to think a little more about their current business practices. Kell told me it would be a long process as several steps were needed before we would even be in a position of power if we ever got there at all. Kell stayed the course and saw the process through to the end. Kell stuck it out to the end and did not pressure me to make a decision one way or the other. He simply gave guidance. My resolution was always geared towards being a moral victory of sorts. Kell could easily have pushed me to settle and get this off his plate, but he didnt. Thanks Kell! I appreciate your help!
