Mia and her team lacked the support and guidance we needed. Communication was poor, and they were slow to respond to important matters. They didn t seem compassionate or caring, and we often felt left in the dark about what was happening.

While I applaud Eric Willies courageous call for a reform. We have been toggled between abusive, delayed processes without accountability or reasons by the Supreme Court of the United States when urgent signature has been reviewed and approved for by lower courts. Lets hope the 5 is not a front-end rating but a sincere address to dangerous local threats in public at the border state. Organized assault, falsification of trespass warning and molestation had been called out. No one came close to scratching in my car. It remains a 4.5 until then, focusing on where crimes are lurking and stemming. There is no guarantee it will not happen at the same time. Life is more than surface code compliance. It is individual and civic responsibilities both in-office and in public to address systemic issues reasonably applying legal code passed, during and after a worldwide pandemic.

Got my divorce finished in 5 months. Thats record time as far as divorce in Hays county goes. Was a favorable outcome. My case had some unique complexitys. They handled everything seamlessly. Im a disabled veteran. They gave me special consideration on pricing, and made me feel good about things as the case moved forward during the process. Scott Dalrymple in their office is great! We had a very difficult case in Williamson County Tx. In July there were changes to the law that only complicated the situation. Scott listened and through his knowledge and extensive preparation, he very calmly and methodically proved that the plaintiff was not being honest in his accusations. It has been a bumpy road but I m finally close to an end of an awful custody case. Regardless of any frustrations I had, Carah Beth and their team always did their best to investigate things and find leverages for me. In my case I was able to get a lot more than I was expecting at the temporary orders stage thanks to the investigative work of Carah Beth Bass. She is highly detailed and looks into things the way a lawyer should. Hopefully more time to come. Full transparency one of my big pet peeves is communication and that s the thing I felt could have been better. Other than that though I m here now, I m happy, and I feel supported. My case has taken 2 years, and I lost contact with my child, but in the end I was able to get that back and now things are really looking good. Update 2024,my son is home from the Navy and I cant say how much Eric did for me 6 years ago that made it a possibility to negotiate with my Ex ,He truly made it easy during a difficult time ,when I watch all my kids around the table I always think of Eric . If you need something done and youd like to deal with someone whos straightforward, honest and beyond capable; this is the firm youve been looking for. READ BELOW First of all, let me point out that Im extremely ignorant to situations requiring an attorney/lawyer. I can count on one hand the times Ive had to go to court with an attorney present. In fact, I can count on two fingers. That said, I would like to point out that my search for an attorney was an arduous one, considering I do not live in the county where I required representation and as an added curveball, I was unable to attend the court date. I went through a laundry list of attorneys and firms that wasted hours and hours of my time. I even dumped money on a legal coaching that got me nowhere closer to my intended goal. In walks Eric Willie. I submitted my info through the website and anticipated the same result that Id been accustomed to, but that was not the case here. Eric called me DIRECTLY. He was unable to reach me on the first phone call, so he left a voicemail and shot me a text with his cell number. Thats the definition of customer service. That in itself was an encouraging light after all of the time Id wasted prior. I called Eric back and got through to him immediately. After briefly explaining my situation briefly, he had all that he needed and INSTANTLY calmed my nerves by assuring me that I was in good hands. No BS, straight to the point. He proposed the formulated plan, addressed all of my concerns and I got off the phone feeling light for the first time in weeks. In the leadup to my court date, I was worried and called/texted him a few times which mightve been a bit much, but he replied promptly each time and put my mind at ease. Moving forward, its now the day after my court date and we had a few options that we couldve walked away with. He gave me realistic expectations, so I was prepared for some minor fees and/or continued legal proceedings. However, ITS DONE! The case was entirely dismissed. Justice prevailed and I cannot thank the team at Willie & Dasher Law enough! Erics on the Christmas list in our household.

In 2004 I met Mr Willie at the Willie and Dasher law firm Mrs Dasher was my attorney for my child support, they help me find out that my kids mother had committed fraud and thats why my child support was $145,000 they had to reduce to 15,000 and all defraud interests and fraud money taking off the account. I didnt know how I was going to be able to pay $1,200 a month in arrears and $450 a month in child support plus bills at the house without Mr really researching everything and finding the mistakes that the attorney general had attached to my case I would pay for something that I didnt know anything about or do (that was truly a blessing), I am forever great Mr Willie and Miss Dasher as Faith would have it a attorney at the attorney general office referred Mrs Dasher to me and without that referral I would have never met Miss Dasher and Mr Willie since then I have referred family and friends to Mr Willie he handled my cousin divorce and my cousin was truly happy with the outcome and my friends are happy with their outcome of their divorce cases Mr Willie has been taking care of my family and friends for the last 18 years and we are truly blessed to have him as a family,and divorce lawyer. At first it was absolutely horrible because the other attorney Heather, who has since left the office, but it is much much better. Thank you Eric Willie and Team! I cannot tell you the overwhelming feeling I felt when Eric said you won. It was like a damn broke as I wept for joy. Relieved that it was over, I am beyond grateful to God for his goodness and for the way He used Eric and his team! In divorce it feels like everyone loses. However, when it comes to protecting the kids one side can clearly win. But, even in Texas it can be difficult for the man to win. Not only did I win primary custody of both minors, but more importantly, my older minor child won the right to decide when and if he goes, which is rare in any state. I also won sole residency which in my case was critical. I cannot thank Eric and his team enough! This was a very long custody battle that was delayed multiple times due to circumstances outside of our control. Add Covid to the mix and all normalcy goes out the window. The legal climate was new for everyone. From in person, to virtual to all the ups and downs, Eric and his team were there for me and my kids every step of the way. The way that Eric handled my witnesses was impressive. Even more impressive was the way he fought for me and was tough on the opposing side. Regarding one opposing witness, he objected what felt like 10 times and the judge sustained what felt like 9 times, even thanking Eric for helping him get through it. Wow. I have never heard or witnessed such command of an opposing witness. Eric would not let any of the opposing side off the hook, often circling back to ask the same question which reinforced the invalidity of the defense. From the Pre-trial, to the Final hearing, Eric knew the main judge and the visiting judge. You could tell they had a good report which is critical in any heavily contested legal matter. Eric was also very familiar with the opposing attorney. You have to know what you are up against. Eric did. Eric gave strong recommendations but was open to push back even though in hindsight he was right. He was strong in is convictions but flexible in listening to mine. If you need a bulldog in the courtroom who will fight for you and work with you and your family, call Eric today!

I hired Eric back in February of 2018 to work on my case involving my ex-husband. Initially, I was working with another lawyer - who shall remain unnamed - but after some negotiations that were unrealistic and not in the best interest of my children, I decided to find a new lawyer. Eric was amazing. He was very professional and handled my case efficiently and with my kids as the priority. There were a few bumps in the road but family court can be emotionally exhausting and in my case, it was. Eric & Heather did a wonderful job making sure all of my concerns were validated and that the orders enforced were agreeable. The only con was keeping up with invoices. It may have been more of a blessing in disguise for me, but I only received one invoice that showed a breakdown of fees from the retainer. I paid almost $8K from Feb 2018 to Apr 2019 and I never received a final invoice that showed how the additional money was being used. I didnt really care that much after the final order was completed, but it made me a little anxious not knowing if I would need to find more money in the event they would request it. Thankfully, it never came to that and Eric said I would be taken care of no matter what. Im hoping - in a good way - that I never have to step foot in their office again for another court case, but if I absolutely had to, I would consider hiring him again. I called at 16 (no joke!) attorneys before I found Eric. They ALL wanted money up front for a consultation and some of them wanted upwards of $350.00. Most of these firms would not even let me speak to the attorney before I gave them money for a consultation! NOT ERIC! I went through a difficult divorce. I have always been an involved Father, so it was very hard when initial temporary orders said I could only see my youngest child 48 hours a month due to his age. I was told by multiple people & professionals that I would get no better than 4 overnights a month because thats what standard visitation is, and thats what Dads typically get. Now that the process is over, I am now one day away from 50/50. Typical orders say non-custodial parents get only 48 hours a month until age 3, and then another increase at age 5. I have had almost 50/50 since my youngest was 2 by the time this was settled. I also have been able to maintain joint decision-making throughout the process. Eric picks up his phone, and responds. I called his office on a Saturday night when I needed an attorney ASAP. He called me the next morning and set things up. Eric was able to get temporary orders enforced and get my time with my kids back on track when temporary orders were not followed (after not seeing my kids for several weeks). Divorce is hard, a contested divorce involving children is harder. Eric was calm and steady throughout the process.

Eric Willie is an amazing attorney. I met him several years ago and thought he was a very nice person. When my husband asked for a divorce I went straight to Eric. He has walked with me each step of the way in a very stressful, difficult situation. He was patient and kind and supportive with me. In court he was on top of his game, very professional, and ultimately victorious. I went in with a less than a 50% chance of winning my move-away case, and the jury came back with a unanimous decision in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend Eric Willie, and thank him for all he has done for my family. UPDATE: I ended up having to return to court to finalize the divorce due to the inability of my ex-husband to negotiate a settlement through our attorneys. Once again Eric Willie was fantastic in the way he handled my settlement with the opposing counsel and with the judge. He has patiently explained all options to me and fought for me to the end. Since I won my case to move away, it was likely I would be penalized severely in the financial aspect of the divorce. I was referred to Eric specifically as an expert lawyer who could untangle my convoluted custody case. Eric took over my case in the middle, from a previous lawyer who had done a terrible job and made plenty of ridiculous decisions. Eric was able to sort through all the complications and extraneous details of what had occured so far, and forge a straight, clear path to our goal. He was patient and unruffled as the other side tried to dodge and stall, and plainly explained my options at every step. Eric is a formidable force who doesnt back down, and was able to settle our case in mediation instead of in a trial, a feat I thought impossible, due to the character of the other side. His knowledge of law is thorough, and his knowledge of Travis county specifics is unparalleled. Throughout our process, Eric really listened to me and took the extra time to ask about my doubts, which I appreciated greatly and made the process so much less stressful. Well all I can say , is Eric thank you very much. After being married for 28 years coming from California. Divorce can be and is a very stressful and yes even scary thing even for me , After consulting with a few different attorneys . I found myself most comfortable with Eric for a few reasons ,one his experience wanting to know about my family about the relationship the good the bad and the difficult . I didnt feel like I was just another case for him ,he was concerned about my well-being my familys well-being and being very sensitive to the situation. Thinking that I was going to be in store for one heck of a roller coaster ride Eric went into detail and explain to me the process of divorce here in Texas which was quite different from California thank God. I hired Mr. Eric Willie to be my attorney in my custody case. The first time I spoke to Eric, a lot of stress and doubt was relieved. I struggled for 15 years to see my son regularly because he was always held back from spending time with me. After all the tears and heartaches trying to have a relationship with my son, Eric fought for my family and I was awarded full custody. I will never forget that day in court. Eric is a straight shooter. He knows the law and doesnt get lost in the emotions that a family law case can involve. I would recommend him to anyone needing a family law attorney. When I was referred to Eric, I was afraid of what might happen, sick over the battle my kids were being drug through, and at my wits end. Eric has represented me on multiple occasions in matters of child support modification, modification of visitation orders, and estate planning. On every occasion, he has been straight-forward and honest with me about my options. He always takes the time to patiently answer my many questions, either in person, by phone, or via email. Issues of visitation and child support are always emotionally charged, and I appreciate Erics quick responses - he understands that while a case in family court may just be a number on a docket to many, it represents an important and stressful unanswered question in his clients life. In 2013 and 2017, Eric represented me in response to my self-employed ex-husbands petitions to lower child support amounts, and both times, Eric was able to persuade the court that my exs claims of having very little income were inaccurate and misleading. Eric suggested to the court that if his low-income claims were true, then my ex was underemployed and child support amounts should not be lowered or nearly eliminated, as my ex was requesting. On both occasions, Eric was successful in persuading the court to maintain child support at the highest possible amount. In 2013, my ex-husband claimed that I interfered with his visitation with our two children on two occasions, and he filed a motion for enforcement, requesting that the court imprison and fine me as a consequence. The visitation order that we had in place at the time was unclear and left much room for interpretation, which resulted in constant disagreements about when visits should begin and end, who should be driving the children, and even whether or not certain visits should take place. After my ex realized that his motion would likely be thrown out of court if we ever stepped in front of a judge, he requested that we each agree to drop the case. At that point, I had already retained Eric to represent me and I knew that if the wording of the visitation order remained the same, the conflict between me and my ex would simply continue. I asked Eric what my options were, and he suggested that we not agree to drop the case, and that instead we request a modification of the order, which would first go through mediation. Eric represented me during the mediation, and as a result, every change that I requested be made to the order for clarification was made, and none of the changes that my ex requested during the mediation were made. What started as an intimidating motion by my ex to have the court punish me for interfering with visits that were not clearly specified, resulted in a clearly-worded new visitation order that has all but eliminated conflict, thanks to Erics ingenuity. Eric also assisted me with estate planning and helped me and my current husband put together our wills, set up a living trust, and put our medical directives into place. He was very knowledgeable and helped us navigate through all of the difficult questions that needed to be asked in order to establish our plan. Eric represented me in an emotionally draining divorce case. When I approached Eric, I stressed to him that due to the nature of the marriage prior to the divorce, my goal was to get it done as quickly as possible. Right away, I could tell he was someone who was experienced and cared about his clients. Eric and his team were compassionate and their attention to detail was fantastic. Furthermore, they kept me informed about what was happening every step of the way, which was important to me as I was in a state of panic basically the entire time. They got my divorce done in a reasonable time, despite the opposing sides attempts to stall and prolong the case. A custody battle is like being thrown into a meat grinder with ghost peppers and dynamite when two people cannot come to a FAIR agreement. Sometimes even when you do, things just seem to fall apart. That s why you can t bargain bin shop when you are looking for representation. Inexperienced lawyers may be aggressive, smart and convincing, but they lack the working knowledge of what battles are worth fighting and which ones are not (battles = $$$$$$$$). Eric has over 25 years of LITIGATION EXPERIENCE and he didn t keep representing clients to lose. He likes winning. He is smart, tactically aggressive, emotionally attached and therapeutic. Do you know who are you fighting for? I will answer your question for you ..you are fighting for your rights to your life (i.e. your children and their well-being). After a lot of research i retained Eric in regards to be represented in a divorce. Eric made me feel very comfortable on the first visit and it was obvious he was well versed as an attorney but even more familiar with the Travis county system. He explained that he represented me and gave me options and would do what I needed after explaining my options. I explained what i was looking for in a Lawyer and he understood my situation. Even though my case probably wasnt the biggest on his schedule, he helped me out through the process. The most important aspect with dealing with Eric was he gave me his personal number and returned my text messages even on the weekend and on vacation. This was the most important part, especially when i had questions about my case. I would recommend Eric to others going through a tough part of their life.

Gaining custody of a grandchild is not something many foresee and the ground is unchartered territory for many. Eric Willie and his staff walked alongside us for three years and made a difficult process easier to digest. Child Custody Case. This was the most scared I have ever been the day I was severed paper to take my son away. After some looking online I found Eric Willie. From the first phone call I felt better. They took time to calm me down and talk to me to see if they could even help. They worked hard to get me an appointment the next day. From the time I walked in the office I was feeling better. Everyone was as nice a can be. Eric was listen to everything and was honest with me. No sugar coating told me was I could expect and he was right in everything he said. Eric Willie is well regarded and came highly recomended. It was very important to me during my divorce to have an attorney that not only understood the multitude and complexities of my situation, but also understood the love that i have for my daughter. I interviewed many attorneys when choosing who I was going to use for my child custody case, Mr. Willie stood far above the crowd in many ways. Most importantly he had confidence in me and my case! The short version is that Mr. Willie won my case, he exceeded my expectation and did so with ease. He was fair in price and always gave me time to talk. I was fighting to be able to move to the Dallas area with my new husband so that we could both continue our education and I was also petitioning the court for child support. Throughout the entire process Mr. Willie was professional, kind and always on time. He responded to my emails very quickly and when the email was complicated he always called me to make sure I understood every detail. In our private meetings he was very laid back and calm. In court is where he really shines. In my opinion there was no comparison to the caliber of attorney in that courtroom even though the other attorney was a very highly rated Austin area attorney. I was VERY glad that Mr. Willie was on MY side and not the opposing partys. When reading reviews I was a little skeptical of Mr. Willie due to a few bad reviews but after meeting with him I decided to give him a shot. And I am SO glad that I did. Mr. Willie is a straight-shooter, he is not going to sugar coat things just to make you feel good. He is going to be honest with you but he is also going to fight for you. I do not understand the low ratings at all as Mr. Willie did everything I asked for and more. I will tell you that he is not the cheapest attorney in Austin but he is one of the best and in my opinion I got more than what I paid for. Eric was the first attorney who had offered any ray of hope to the situation that I was in. My ex wife and I had originally gone the cheap route and did all the paperwork ourselves and had our divorce decree basically rubber stamped. I did not know that the decree was messed up in every possible way and of course I was the one with the short end of the stick and not my ex. I went to attorney after high priced attorney seeking help and guidance and one by one they told me I was out of luck with no viable options. Eric told me right away he could help and laid out a clear plan at a very reasonable price on how to do that. The best part is, it was all true and not some pie in the sky prayer of a chance. I walked into his office on the verge of my world falling apart and he corrected that situation and was the only one even willing to try. Over the past 2 years there have been many things I have disliked about the whole process of getting divorced... dealing with my legal team was not one of them Eric and Jessica have been rock solid for everything!!! GOT THIS FATHER FULL CUSTODY Eric was exactly what I needed to achieve what felt impossible. He is confident, reassuring, and knowledgeable. I m really forever grateful to Eric M. Willie and The Law Office Of Willie & Dasher for literally putting my life back on course. Eric took over my divorce case after it had stalled out with my previous lawyer. Prior to meeting Eric, I was having conflict and confidence issues with my then legal representation. I was in a state of not feeling well represented and even somewhat blindsided on several issues. So when I first went to Eric for help, I was confused and emotional, and felt stuck . But after meeting with Mr. Willie for the first time, I found him to be extremely reassuring and I got a strong sense that his dedication and legal experience would see me through. He understood my concerns right away and immediately started to handle my case respectfully and constructively. His knowledge of the legal details was such a comfort to me. I found that he was willing to do far more work to protect me than I had anticipated. He clarified many legal issues and answered all my questions clearly and skillfully, and really just gave me the confidence and ability to move forward. Although he signed up to finish my case from the point at which I took it to him, in reality he did far more than that by taking control, starting from scratch on the writing of my divorce decree, and preparing all that was necessary to present before the judge. This was an immense workload for him but he did it very professionally and ungrudgingly. I m not sure how many lawyers would have been kind enough to pick up a case that was already not going well with another lawyer, put the effort into correcting several issues, even start over on key items, and finish it out, and to do it all confidently, efficiently, and affordably. Eric Willie and his staff are amazing. We have been involved in a 3+year custody battle for a child that we attempted to adopt. The father contested the adoption and we were awarded temp joint conservator. We stayed that way for 3+ years until 2 weeks ago. We had a jury trial upon dads request and after a hard 3 days we were awarded sole managing conservator. During those 3 days Eric remained calm he was organized, and professional. Eric was very honest the entire way through. Anytime we called the office he and his staff was always very nice and honest. They helped us remain calm throughout the entire process. We have not only found a great attorney but several friends!!! I would highly recommend Eric Willie.

I am a repeat client of Erics and will continue to seek his services for any future legal issues that come up. The first time I used Eric, I was a young father of three getting ready to file for a divorce. I was scared, nervous, unaware of what to expect, worried about finances, housing arrangements and the list goes on. Eric and his staff were always available! I felt well represented and comfortable going into mediation. This was a marathon mediation, starting early in the day running into evening hours, but he got it done. We were up a against another well known attorney but in the end there wasnt one thing we wanted that we didnt get. A++ More recently (today actually) I was in court with Eric. I wanted him to represent me in a case I had with the attorney generals office. The process was silky smooth. I didnt have one document in my hand when I showed up to court.
