Jo s blended coffee was very delicious. The moment you put it in your mouth, a nice aroma leaves your nose and a lingering aftertaste. It has a strong taste and bitterness, and I am very satisfied.

Im not embarrassed to say that the baristas came to know my order and name over the course of my four years in Austin. The baristas are super cool and friendly, and it feels like a family. The setting and location are perfect, and of course theres no other drink like the Iced Turbo. I have often returned to Texas and made sure to stay at the Hotel San Jose so that I can be steps away from my favorite coffee spot. If you love coffee dont leave town without going to one of the Jos locations in Austin, TX.

Iced Turbo is really good. After a couple sips and you realize are over halfway done kind of gives buyers remorse. Tacos are below average for price. I guess the place on South Congress is what it is. Popular little spot (some local and mostly visitors) for a grab and go in a good walking location.

Extremely loud and rude people. They don t even call out your name or what the drink is, just put it on the counter with no tag on it and let people figure out what their drink is. If you pick up the wrong one, they are extremely rude. It took 20 mins for them to fill an iced tea, and the pot was right next to him at the window. I would understand if it was because they were scrambling through orders, but they were literally moving at snail pace and acted like they didn t want to work there. After I finally got my drink, I realized they don t even make an effort to make your drink sweet or unsweetened (then what am I tipping you for on the screen?) and liquid sugar pump he pointed me to was extremely dirty with bugs flying over it. The place was extremely dirty, and I didn t dare to give my dog water from their water dispenser they had outside. Needless to say, my iced tea was trashed also.

They did have clean restrooms which was nice. Parking: Easy to park, in back. Also street parking. We stayed in Austin for the weekend and walked to Jo s from our BNB. There was already a line at 10 am but it went quickly. The tacos were all pre-made and tasted bland but the coffee was nice, strong and hot. There were plenty of seating and it seemed like people ate and left. No one except for a couple hung around and enjoyed the gorgeous Austin weather. There are so many taco joints to choose from so I wouldn t go back.

Unremarkable experience. The menu listed cold brew, but upon receiving my drink, I was informed it was iced coffee. Clarifying with the barista, I was told both were identical, which is inaccurate as they differ in preparation and caffeine levels. The beverage resembled a watered-down iced coffee. I suspect they label it as cold brew to command a higher price for a less expensive offering.

The coffee is decent, but not gourmet or particularly notable. At the South Congress location, they are going for a grungy, authentic Austin vibe with the old metal tables. However, they are actually a health hazard with the rusty metal parts exposed. I cut my hand a bit on the metal. I understand that they are trying to have an unpretentious atmosphere, but for an iconic Austin location that probably makes several million dollars in revenue per year there is an obligation to have the tables be at least safe for customers to sit at.

If I could leave a zero star review I would, I was standing in line and was definitely up next when the barista looked directly over me and addressed the white family first, without even asking me to wait or step aside. I would ve been okay waiting a moment, but the blatant disregard for my existence? Can t deny the racist aspect of that interaction, whether or not it was intentional. My non white partner and I immediately felt unwelcomed. A shame because I was excited to try a drink but I ve left with a sour taste in my mouth.

Cant say enough good things about the staff at Jos. My fiancée and I visit Jos at least 1-2x every week religiously because of their fun atmosphere and caring staff. Despite it being a tourist trap at times, their team is always attentive to us (especially Lisa!) and remember our names and orders at this point. Whether youre a local or a visitor, its a fun place to sit and people watch on SoCo - we always feel lucky when we can get a stool and get a front row seat to it all. I wouldnt be opposed to Jos adding 1-2 more stools for when it gets busy, but otherwise its a solid place with great drinks and a better atmosphere!

Cute location, nice dinner-ish vibes inside. I had the mystery $4 coffee which was delicious. Super disappointed about the food though. I ordered the Vegan burger that was $16. The menu said it came with two beyond patties, so the price made sense. Instead it came with one patty, definitely not Beyond but rather a cheap Boca type. I asked the server and they said the menu had changed. The bun was gross, overall a $8 burger at best. Will go back for coffee but not good.

This seems like the sort of place where regular customers know the process and they sail through the experience just fine, but a first-time, out-of-towner like myself got the hurry up and order something vibe. Nobody was rude but I definitely got hustled along. Look at the menu online and decide before you go and youll be fine. My daughter got a breakfast taco and she said it was only OK.

Popped over to grab an iced coffee for a hot day. I had one of the seasonal drinks, a strawberry latte, which was perfectly sweetened (not too sweet) and perfectly iced. Service was prompt and friendly. The iced latte was exactly what I needed. I personally take my coffee strong so might opt for an extra shot of espresso next time!

We went here for breakfast with my son and daughterin-law. We all shared breakfast burritos and they were very tasty. There was no coffee so we all had fresh orange juice. Next time in TX I will definitely return. Parking: We got there early and had no problem parking Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly location. There was a back parking lot but not a ton ofspots

I got a vegan burrito and blueberry matcha the first day. The matcha was unique with the blueberry, but kind of watered down. The vegan burrito was cold, flavorless, and just unappetizing. The next morning I got an iced coffee which was also basically just water and some extremely tiny inedible tacos. Overall, overhyped & overpriced.

I was upset that they ran out of tacos and I bought a sandwich for 10$ but it turned out to be one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had

We were really looking forward to trying Jos on our trip. It was very underwhelming. Cappuccino was a latte with bad foam, tacos were meh, my daughters was watery, the friendly servers we were expecting must have been on vacation and the bathroom was disgusting. Super disappointing experience at the South Congress location. We found a different cafe that became our daily go-to on this trip.

Tasty breakfast tacos with decent espresso drinks. A good place to go if you want both as an easy breakfast, but I think there are better options for just coffee or just breakfast tacos in the surrounding area.

Their tacos used to be great but were pretty pedestrian this time, short on flavor and not even warm. Big slide down. Coffee was good.

Quick, easy, quality coffee all around Austin! Went to the one on South Congress every morning while we were visiting from Seattle. The breakfast tacos are good too, but I would recommend going to Veracruz or something else nearby.
