Wonderful staff, food, and music! Rock on! Waffles and bacon were delicious. Ask for the cheddar stuffed jalapeños, they have a kick but are full of flavor.

I really want to like this place, the atmosphere is great, staff are friendly, the food has good flavor, and food presentation is pretty. But unfortunately both times Ive eaten here it takes a very long time to be greeted by your server and to have your order taken. Both visits my food has been sent to the wrong table and has to be remade entirely which takes even longer and by the time its brought to me its cold and made incorrectly. By that point Im too hungry to send it back and I just eat it... a little hesitant to come back but Id be willing to try again in the distant future.

I had to ignore the very few bad reviews about bad service while the restaurant was busy because we walked into an empty place about 10:30 am. We got excellent service! The food was phenomenal! One of the best home cooked meals I ve had in a long time. My husband and I are foodies and thrive on finding new spots, and this made our list. We will definitely go back. It was clean, fast, friendly, and the vibe was great too! Excellent choice of music & decor made the ambiance. We ll definitely be back if in the area.

The only good thing about the food was the chorizo balls. They were flavorful. They were great don t get the caramel and coffee because it s just A little pile of caramel fat My significant other ordered the birdie, and they brought the wrong place three times, and when they finally brought the plate it was the wrong sauce on it, I received my food, and most of my food was cold and bland

Food was great but the kitchen was extremely behind. People were getting food 15+ minutes apart from the rest of their table for plates. Some tables just left and didnt wait on food... the French toast took over an hour to get to the table. The servers were working hard. But they prob need a few more to just clean tables. I I hope they can dial in the kitchen. They have potential.

System doesn t quote accurate wait times. You will wait 30 minutes then they will call you and say it s actually another 45 minute wait.

Cant review anything but the service, didnt get past it. Absolutely horrible service, two tables after we arrived received their drink orders before ours was taken, not for lack of sight either. We where literally sitting in the middle of the restaurant. We very nicely asked to speak with hostess who told us when we ealked out she didnt even know her managers name. What has happened to service now days. Is it the generation or what!!!! The seriously didnt seem to even care we had received bad service. We left cash for the two coffees, oh BTW we only ordered one coffee and a water, my wife didnt even touch her coffee, but we paid for them and walked out. We will never be back her. Id rather fight the traffic and crowd to go anywhere else. Good luck to anyone who ignores this warning!!

I really want to like this place but I just cant. Today was my 2nd time in. I wanted the praline bread pudding that was on the menu but they are no longer serving it. No problem. I ordered the lemon and blueberry waffle. This was good. I ordered a piece of chicken sausage which is such a favorite of mine at the Belton location and I hated it. No flavor. No seasoning. Its very loud in there too. The music was so loud I could barely hear my friend sitting across from me. The customer service is outstanding! The place is so cute. I just think Ill stick with the Belton location .

Started off with the coffee flight toasted marshmallow, tiramisu, pumpkin, and butter pecan. Literally chugged them so freaking good! Had the birdie Nashville style amazing to say the least! Perfectly tender and juicy chicken thigh over a sweet thick Belgian waffle served with fluffy eggs and crisp but soft centered potatoes with Cajun fry seasoning!!

I love this place. Theres still some construction going on, but theyve really made this space comfortable. Food is just as good as the Belton location. This is a smaller space so it makes sense that they have a smaller menu. For people like me who get overwhelmed with options, this is a welcome difference.

My husband and I were driving back home and found this place on Google! We decided to give the Temple location a try and it was well worth it! The wait wasn t long but that s because we added ourselves to the wait list. The food wait was very long (45 minutes minimum) but they were very honest about it up front. We sat at the bar next to the kitchen and could hear the chef calling out for orders. Though it was very loud, you could tell he tries to make it a great environment! He ensured that as the food was coming out hot, someone was grabbing it within 1 minute. The servers were very helpful towards each other and it just seems like a really nice environment. Food: We tried a lot of different things and everything was delicious! Complementary fried green tomatoes from the chef: 5/5 Maple Bourbon Biscuits: 5/5 Veggie Lovers Skillet: 4.5/5- I loveeee the breakfast potatoes but would have loved more veggies instead. The Birdie: 4.5/5 Strawberries and Cream Waffles: 100/10. Some of the best waffles I ve ever had in my life hands down! The crunch, the flavor, sooooo delicious!

The wait outside was 25 minutes and it took over an hour for our food to be served. There were 5 of us and the dishes did not arrive at the same time and we went to eat as a family, not some before and others after. The truth is that at this rate I think they are going to lose customers. It was my first time and I dont plan on going back.

The breakfast arrived quickly, and the portions were generous, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The music selection was spot on, featuring classics from ZZ Top, Dire Straits, Pat Benatar, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Queen, Bon Jovi, and more, adding the perfect vibe to our morning. I want to say my server was amazing, very nice and sweet. The only thing I would have to say that it s expensive and the portions are too small for the prices, depending upon what you get, I got the breakfast platter. A single small waffle and two things of bacon, I understand that s what s going to be more expensive at because is meat expensive but if you re going to charge almost 16 dollars, at least throw in another waffle or something. Before my tip, my bill was 24 dollars and that s saying a lot, but also did get a latte and that was a little pricey for what seemed like a small and for the environment/atmosphere, it s off, when I first stepped in and looked at the decor, I m thinking I m getting hardy, savory meal with the relaxed vibe. The menu doesn t even match the atmosphere, I m looking at the menu, feeling like I m at an Atlanta restaurant overpriced and boujee for no reason. This is place where I ll occasionally come to if not I m really hungry.

We ve been long time lovers of the Belton location, and now with a Temple location I foresee many happy returns. We came after the brunch crowd, so service, and seating were quick. You can tell the kitchen is bigger than Belton s which made a huge difference. The menu is slightly different, but no less delicious. Ariel was very friendly and attentive. And even the manager came by to check on us. But also, don t come so we can always avoid a wait. lol!

I would not recommend eating at this location, the food at the Belton location was already mediocre at best and in the temple location it is worse, far less options and small portions for a high price. The atmosphere was nice apart from not being able to hear my own thoughts, very loud with the people in the kitchen yelling out orders every few seconds. The wait was astronomically long for the amount of food we received and for the amount of people in the restaurant. The only main positive that I can take out of this is the service, the servers were nice and very accommodating. TL;DR, just deal with the longer seating wait time at the Belton location. Parking: The new parking garage across the street helps with parking for all of the restaurants in the area.

Atmosphere was also super loud. We had trouble hearing each other speak across the table. Not impressed at all. I would NOT willing spend my money at this franchise again.
