Mt Playmore is Every Kid s Dream Come True! We recently visited Mt Playmore, and I can confidently say it s now one of our favorite spots! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we felt welcome. The variety of activities for kids of all ages is impressive! Whether it s the exciting arcades, the dedicated space for little kids, or the massive playscape structures, there s something for everyone. My kids absolutely loved climbing through the play structures, and seeing characters like Woody and Buzz was a fun bonus that added to the magical atmosphere. The cotton candy machine was also a huge hit, and the bubble party kept the fun going! The food options are amazing and cater to every taste, which was perfect for our family. They even have options for babies, making it easy to enjoy a meal without any worries. We had no problem finding something for everyone to enjoy. If you re looking for a place that will keep your kids entertained for hours while offering a safe and fun environment, Mt Playmore is it! We can t wait to come back. My kids are already asking when we can go again!

We were at Mt playmore and we took my grandson to a bday party. He wont go without his crocs. We asked special permission amd explained his autism. They said it was fine. We stayed in small childs section with him. A lady came in and said he couldnt stay ... they were kicking him out completly. Out of the building. Not just telling us to take off his shoes. Out. Now. Crazy rude manager. Was nice when we came in and switched on us. We had talked to several people who originally said he was fine. Then backed her up and lied saying they never said that. We will never go again. Its one thing to tell us to get out of play section. But they made him leave the whole building. When we talked about the autism they said 40 peoplecan say they are autistic and was no excuse. Another employee said she didnt care if he had autism. They need training to.work with kids.

It s very unfortunate that Mount Playmore doesn t educate their employees on autism kids considering they are a children s amusement business. My son is very attached to his shoes. They are his comfort. He even sleeps with them and I have to take them off once he s asleep. I tried to explain that to the Director of operations that my son has autism and that we attempted to take his shoes off and he freaked out and she began to tell me I don t care if your son has autism he needs to take his shoes off and began to kick us out because my son wouldn t take them off. I will never step foot into their business again I m so disappointed that a children s amusement center is not autism friendly. They all need to be educated.

Understanding autism and the spectrum is crucial for promoting inclusion and acceptance in society. It is important to recognize that each individual with autism is unique and may have different needs and behaviors. Sadly, there is still a lack of understanding and compassion towards those with autism, as shown by the rude treatment of my cousin and her son today at this establishment. We must continue to educate and raise awareness to create a more inclusive and understanding world for individuals with autism. The negative reviews highlight the discriminatory practices of this business and serve as a warning to potential customers. It is important to continue spreading the word and advocating for the needs of autistic children, in order to create a more inclusive and welcoming society. Have the day you deserve Dierdre! Also, if you re that miserable at a job you should probably look into something different. Just some advice.

My nephew korbyn went today. We asked them permission for him to keep his shoes on because it s his comfort he has autism. They told us it was fine. Later they proceeded to come to us and say they don t care if he has autism he needs to wear them or leave then KICKS HIM OUT I understand they have rules but they could have nicely said I m sorry who ever told you yes but he can t have them on this was a horrible experience and we are all so mad and heartbroken that he got treated this way.

When we got here she asked 2 people that worked there and they said the same thing it would be ok for him to keep his cross on.But the manager Deidre was very rude and made them leave. We were there celebrating my granddaughters birthday and the way she spoke to them she very rude said that 80 percent of the kids are autistic sweets theres levels of autism. We wont be coming back

We spent a lot of money having my 4 year old daughters birthday here. I get here with her 8 month old INFANT brother and we have to pay for him or hell count against her guest list. The baby didnt even touch the floor while we were here. Ill never spend another red cent at this horrible business. I would urge other people to go elsewhere due to the inflexibility and greedy. In response to the reply: 6 months is not a toddler. 12 months is a toddler per literally any reference you can find online Youre just a nickel and dime business. You wont be getting anymore of my business and I hope at least one other person sees this and goes somewhere else. I hope that was worth the $8 for my INFANT that didnt play with anything there

My daughter loves this place. Only reason I take a star off is because I wish they had season/ monthly/ annual membership options like other places do so that we could pop in for shorter periods without feeling like we have to stay for hours to make the most of admission. We would really like to go for that last hour on weeknights after work/daycare for just a short time and burn off that excess energy!

We ve been coming with my son to Mt Playmore several times a month. Each time was a great experience, including a very nice manager (a blond lady who replaced our lost rechargeable card and always checked on us if everything was ok). Sadly, after today s visit, we won t be coming back anytime soon, until my son is older. There were two employees guarding the entrance to the toddler s play area. They refused to let my son in, saying he is too tall. My son is 3 years old and 39 inches. He is still in diapers. There were multiple kids in the toddler s area, much older than my son, who, according to the two employees, were supervising younger siblings and therefore allowed inside. In reality, these big kids were going down the slide and playing freely in the toddler area. My son is too little to play arcade games and too small to go to the big playscape by himself (the notice says he has to go in with an adult if he is less than 4 years old). So unless i go inside the big playscape with him (and i am not always feeling well enough to chase him, crawling and sliding with him), he has nothing else to play with. He only has rides to go on, for about 15-20 minutes.

Fun place to go, took my 2 girls (2 & 5) and my sister and nephew (3). The kids had fun on the large playscape and in the toddler area. Each place offered something different and age appropriate. We didnt play any arcade games but they like to fake play and there are a ton that I totally forgot still existed so that was fun to see. We also didnt eat there but there was plenty of seating and a restaurant, rewards area for arcade stuff, and the place was pretty clean. They had a fun bubble machine that went off at some point- the bubbles were actually pretty cool because it was like they were filled with fog so when they popped it looked super cool. The entrance staff, although not rude, didnt seem necessarily friendly, but some staff on the floor seemed to be pretty friendly. They are definitely big on following rules there- so just have that as an expectation and red them before you go. We only spent about an hour there and the kids were done but if we had done arcade that would have been a different story. We went on a Sunday around 12 and it was not really that crowded, I expected way more people. Entrance fees are at least reasonable but I didnt get to take a look at food prices (which I think can be looked at online). Its a bit far from us (30 minutes) and while it was a fine experience it wont be on our frequently visited list as I dont think it stands out as anything super special.

We have been coming here for a few years now. Have always had a great experience. The place is clean and well organized. They do a great job of having popular characters for photo ops and fun things going on. The food isn t bad and the games are not too expensive compared to others in the area. My only complaint in the food station. It only has one computer for ordering food and it is always being run by 2-3 young employees that can t get it together. Regularly backs up and can take 20/40 minutes to order food. Also because the employees tend to be young they are not the best with communication and you will get a lot of blank stares. All in all I think it s a great place. And very safe.

My kids had a great time experiencing Mt. Playmore for the first time today! I really love that there is a big area in the center for adults to sit and watch, and that I could see my kids running around the giant play-piece the entire time. Not every indoor playscape offers this, and it gave me peace of mind to be able to see them at any given time. The couches and seating was comfy, and there was more than enough for everyone there on a Monday afternoon. The playscape has different types of obstacles and fun features that both my 5 and 7 year old enjoyed. They also offer a good sized area of arcade games, stationary rides, a toddler play zone and a big wall of prizes. An unexpected surprise was when the fog bubble machine randomly started! The food was alright, nothing more than what you could make at home, but still good. My kids played for a good three hours and had a blast making new friends!

First a foremost the general manager and manager were unprofessional, they approached our table for BABY SNACKS stating that they do not allow snacks for A BABY. I ve read previous reviews and it seems like it s two specific people that show no common sense. The manager(thin white male) was not pleasant and the delivery of his message was unprofessional and discourteous. Then General Manager(older woman) then made it a point to come to our table and emphasize the same message and kept reiterating she wasn t denying MY BABY SNACKS. Actually yes she was. I understand the no food policy but like previous reviews I assume my 1 year old is supposed to eat a cheeseburger? Or a whole pizza? We ordered 30 plus dollars of food and MY BABY wasn t going to sit for 30 mins waiting for food without some sort of entertainment. Someone needs to maybe retrain the management in regards to customer service etc. and the GM reiterated SHE WAS CORPORATE. If that s how corporate trains GMs to operate their facilities, it s concerning. Unprofessional, disgusting, degrading to the public who PAY to use their facilities. Mind you, I just paid over $750 for a 5th birthday party last weekend for my son. My son loves this place and he was so disappointed that the woman was not nice to us.

No one greeted us when we got the front register and the lady that was standing there was just staring at me and my family. Didn t say hello or anything. First timers here so didn t know what to do. My husband had to tell me The lady is waiting for you to give her the ticket because again, she didn t greet us and tell us anything. She just stood there looking at us rudely like we knew what to do. I had to tell my husband Well I didn t know because she didn t say anything to us. I literally said it in front of the worker so she knows next time to greet the customers. This is an establishment for kids so the workers definitely need to look more welcoming and friendly. But other than that, my kids had fun and were tired by end of day.

We visited Mt Playmore on a rainy day during our trip in Austin. If you have toddlers, this is the perfect atmosphere to let them run around and play all over. The toddler section is large and doesnt seem like an afterthought. It was clean and had a good variety of activities for the range of toddler skills. The large obstacle course is large enough for adults to accompany their child through the routes or you can watch from the adult seating in the middle where you have can see through the mesh lining and visually see your child anywhere in the paths (huge plus for us!). The Cafe seemed a bit short staffed/slow, but there is a ton of options for a meal or snacks. Staff was friendly and attentive as well. We will definitely be back if we ever make it back to Austin.

We had a really good time here, and it was on a day that the staff was overwhelmed as they were at-capacity. The playscape is a multilevel square track, and the kids move through it like a river, flowing and kind of in a happy-trance. It was tricky to get them to come out and take a break and have a drink, because they liked it so much. I did not detect any old smell that people say about, and there was a hand-washing device for the kids in the dining area. We used Wet Wipes after all the games and such, and did not get sick. The pizza was far better than average and they serve beer for the weary, haha. Food is not really overpriced. My only complaints: We didnt know that they often hit capacity on weekends like that. We had a 30 minute wait (not terrible), and the line for refreshments was abysmally slow, taking 45 minutes on average. But overall, great experience.

Came from out of town to let the kids have some fun. And the manager, thin creepy white guy, named Cody was so rude! Our baby who is 13 months old, has feeding issues and goes to therapy. It was our first time and we missed the signs of no outside food allowed. We were sitting in the eating area, even bought slushies for the kids from there and was feeding the baby a breakfast from home. The random manager came out of no where and just blurted out no outside food is allowed throw it away and left. No introduction, no manners, nothing. I called him back to explain to him the feeding issues and he didn t even care to listen and kept blabbing about how we need to put it away. I understand rules are rules but if he would have said it a nicer way to begin with I would have had no problem putting it away. Defitnley ruined our out of town experience and will be calling corporate. He kept watching us after which was so creepy, so I took a picture to send to corporate and beware to future customers. A burger? Perhaps the choking hazard of popcorn? No outside water or milk allowed so they should have an icee right or maybe a milkshake what a joke Then on top of that even if we did want to order food here there s a 45 minute wait for anything you order at that point you might as well go to a real restaurant and get a actual good cooked meal in a shorter amount of time.

Bigger is not necessarily better, it turns out. The physical play area is very large, but pretty repetitive. Good for a large party, less good for keeping one kid interested for a couple of hours. Catch Air is smaller but has more variety in the play place, and the space theme is done very well there; it seems more fun, at least for our 7yo. Mt Playmore does have a small-medium arcade; the games are not as expensive as a full fledged arcade like Pinballz, a plus, but many of them are shooters or ticket prize games, so a little limited (and distracts from physical play and play with other kids). There is also a restaurant -- food prices seemed reasonable but icees were very expensive. Didnt get to try the restaurant because the kiddo wanted something else, but it looked promising. So overall its fine, and the admission price was reasonable, but its not amazing and the biggest playland is Texas tagline comes with a caveat.

Its a plus that they sell food (comfort food - pizza French fries sliders quesadillas). The family restrooms have changing tables and lower sinks and toilets for the little ones. There were some rooms for parties in the back.

We were in the works of ordering multiple of the samplers that are listed on their menu, but we were told they can t do it because they didn t have the mozzarella cheese sticks, so we asked if we could substitute for items they do have, but we re told no, and then we asked them if we could go ahead and order it paying the regular price, but not worry about the missing cheese sticks. Their cook said no that we would have to order everything they have separately, which we asked why, Michael told us because he didn t want to, that it is his decision. We asked for the manager, which he said that he was the manager, and then we said ok, so we could reach out to corporate to discuss, and he rolled his eyes and walked off. This is all while trying to hear him from a distance because he wouldn t come close, and he was told multiple times that we couldn t hear him, and he would only raise his voice, but not come close. There was one woman who helped us, with who we expressed our dissatisfaction, and expressed that we would not be ordering their food at that point because we wouldn t trust the quality. So, we went to order food from outside, and brought it back to eat it. We then were rudely addressed my the district operations manager Deidre, who was more concerned with us having food from outside than our very poor experience with her staff, and claimed that we were lying about the way her staff treated us. Knowing how the lack of care, concern, desire to communicate, and with the rude attitude projected from Michael we felt we could not trust the quality of the food potentially being made for us. So we let the woman who helped us know that at that point we wouldn t be ordering the food due to not trusting the food quality, and said that we would have really wanted to have food ordered with them and were prepared to. We had already paid and entrance fee, paid for socks, and paid for Icee s and sodas. We were treated so poorly, we would definitely like this to be addressed. We expressed that we had full intention of honoring their rule of no food from the outside had we not been treated so poorly from the cook staff, as well we had planned on spending a good chunk of money for their food. A very unfortunate experience. ** TO MT PLAYMOREs RESPONSE OF UTTER LIES: Your whole entire response is a complete and absolute lie. I never yelled at staff, I did not get out of control, nor did I slam the table... what a laughable untruth. Quite obnoxious really. If you did actually watch your videos you would know. With two other Moms there experiencing and witnessing with me the staffs, as well as managements, unprofessional manner of operating business, we have concluded that your operation is a depressing joke; truly not kid friendly. Everything I stated in my review is 100% true. Its appalling that Mt. Playmores management allows that type of treatment from their staff towards guests, and try to tell your guest they are lying. As well, management shows the employee staff that its ok to be unkind and disrespectful to guest by not holding them accountable for their actions claiming they are long time hard working employees. Ok, well the one time we experienced your kitchen staff, namely Michael, and your management, namely Deidre, it was horrible. Management wont even acknowledge their own unprofessionalism, or see why they are having to address certain issues that are being expressed by guests. We will never be going to this business for attempting to have a fun time for our children to be free and comfortably fed. The employees at this business need training, as well management needs SERIOUS training. From one manager to another.

No stars Michael in the kitchen chose not to make food for us. So we had to get food from outside the facility because we had not eaten. Deidre, the order of operations manager said that there are policies that we signed with no respect to what we had gone through. She did refund us but we did not get to enjoy our time here due to their Hostile attitudes

I m coming from Florida to spend time with my family . I come to this place and wow kids are having a blast! We sit down to have a snack we brought from outside and the manager day time manager !thin white guy that probably has no children says you need to take that food and eat it outside we don t allow food in here from outside , ok fare enough , I didn t know , not from here. He could have been nicer and allowed the kids to finish , no he demanded us to make the kids stop eating and eat outside . I asked if they can finish it and we know for next time , I even offered to buy a pie of pizza and drinks for my family and said we were spending more money here to play. He didn t care and said we had to leave and eat outside. Mind you, I had a total of 5 kids eating already. He was rude and does it deserve to be a manager. A manager tries to manage things in a More appropriate way that can Accommodate the guest and the facility. You don t want to lose clients . Mind you, the facility is not even full. We had already spent more than 100.00. I found the man unethical , and not friendly at all. This place is definitely not a place for him to work for since he doesn t have compassion for children. I m a registered nurse from Florida and he definitely left me a bad taste for this place in Austin . Please don t bring food, he will kick you out even if your kids had already started eating and enjoying their meal. Best of luck !

We more recently had a joint birthday party for our kids here and the pricing was very reasonable and we had such a fun and memorable time! All the staff we encountered that day were wonderful and Yani was an exceptional party coordinator! She was very friendly and so helpful in helping me decorate the room and staying on time! I only wish we had the option to rent the room longer as an hour and a half goes by quickly especially if theres traffic backed up on I-35. But Id definitely recommend a visit here for some day fun and even for hosting a birthday party at!

DO NOT HAVE YOUR PARTY HERE So where do I begin there are so many things about this place I disliked and could not believe. Everything was so rushed! First of all it was so HOT IN HERE and I don t buy the story of how it s because there are too many people here. Which is the story I was given by MT Playmore . Also I paid for the highest package which included 10 adult meals so why was there NO ADULT CUPS ???? This was so ridiculous the ice cream was melted the cake was melted and I didn t even know cake could melt! I told them to put it in the refrigerator when I got there and they did not or if they did it was broken because everything was melted. Then I ordered a salad and it took 36 minutes to get it. I will never book here again it s okay if you are just taking just your kids but NEVER HAVE A PART HERE!

This place is AMAZING!! So much more cost effective than indigo play, similar concept, but much more to offer babies, kids and toddlers!! I was so impressed. It was astonishingly clean and there was no crowd on a summer weekday. The food is priced well and tasty, there is so much for littles to do. We spent two hours there before I even realized how much time had gone by. I cannot go on enough about how entertaining the toddler area was for our little boy (19 mo) The reason I am not giving five stars is the nursing room is totally not as private as it should be. There was a dad standing outside the door and I could see him VERY easily which means he could see me. And he kept lingering around the room which I found disturbing. I will be back, but it bums me out that I will either have to not use that room or just make sure its a day where I can bring someone to block me. PLEASE get an opaque cover for this room. I am kind of shocked that its so easy to see into.

Ive brought my kids here for several years and Im happy to report that this place continues to make changes for the better. For starters, while the parking lot seem to really full, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it did not seem crowded inside. Dont get me wrong, there were plenty of people there, but it just didnt feel like there were. In the seven or eight years weve been visiting, they managed to keep the playscape and really great shape. Over the years, theyve improved all areas of the facility: seating area at the center of the playscape, the entire dining area is completely different than it was when they opened, and the arcade has even improved. Theres no holes in nets or any of the padding on the playscape. Everything seems really secure and the facility cleanliness is maintained very well. The random moment of dry ice bubbles (pictured) was especially fun. My kids had never seen it before and they were super excited about it! I was pleased to see that they added a couple food items for dietary restrictions; mainly gluten-free and dairy-free options for the pizzas. I was glad to see that they also offer things like fruit cups. Its not much but its a start and for a place like this, Its more than Ive seen at other places that I take my children. The arcade was a good place to wind down after everything, and The cotton candy machine was a huge hit! I made it a point to use it when it was time to leave because it helped motivate the kids. Overall, still a great place to visit, especially on a hot summer day.

We got there around 6:15 pm thinking the place closed at 8. The guy at the front asked if this was our first time there, and we told him yes. He told us to sign a waiver and to come back to him to pay. By the time we paid it was already 6:30. Never once did he mention that they closed at 7, and I didnt see the hours on the door. So my son started playing, and I took my youngest to the toddler area to play. Then my husband came to me to tell me that they were closing. So we paid 54 dollars for a half hour of play. Not to mention that the toddler area should be monitored better. There were kids there who were not being supervised by their parents and kids that were too old to be in there. Other than that, its an okay place, but I wouldnt go back there.

I brought snacks for my daughter, only to be told I couldn t bring them in. So we had to leave early so she could eat. But all in all, we didn t miss much. Last of all, we were repeatedly asked to show our stamps as though we were trying to get in for free and not pay. I m not used to being treated like a criminal. Parents come here, unleash their children then ignore them by falling into their phones - the scene is depressing. Won t be coming back, much better cleaner options available. Took a 10 yo, a 6 yo and a 3 yo. We were there for 3 hours. We had a blast not only on the playscape but We chose to use our arcade money on the roller coaster simulators and the actual simulator and a few little odd and end games. We bought ice cream on the way out. It was well worth the trip. They scanned each child and me to make sure we matched on our way out so thats really cool. The only downside is that someone stole my magnet off the side of my car in the parking lot. I guess Not today Satan was appealing to a thief.

My 2.5yr old has SO much fun here, however, the three times we have been here, we have gotten sick within 2-3 days later. Most of the climbing equipment stinks and looks dirty and twice we have gone down one of the big slides, only to slide right into a pile of pee. Not great experiences and we will not be going back anytime soon. Food is decent but very overpriced (to be expected in a kid centered/arcade environment).
