They never have curbside. As a mom with 3 young kids, its convenient to get curbside instead of getting everyone down for one single item. If they are so short staff they should disable curbside and not make people go through this. First world problems I know. But like I said, if they are unable to fulfill this obligation to the customer, dont offer the service.

I visited the IHOP located off of 620 North in Austin and was pleasantly surprised by the improvements theyve made. Theyve hired new staff, which has significantly improved service time. Despite the portion sizes looking smaller, theyre still substantial enough to leave you feeling full. I also enjoyed the new items theyve added to the menu. Overall, a great dining experience

Every Ihop Ive been to allows you to get crispy breakfast potatoes as a side, except this one. You have to pay extra to have this as a side even though its cheaper than all the other sides on the menu. Wont be coming back to this IHOP, Ill go to the other one where they can. Then when I got my food, my entire omelet was burnt

Food poisoning!!! Placed a delivery order through their website. Order was delivered in a timely manner by Jean. Upon receiving- nothing was safety sealed, a container was leaking, the food was missing parts, and I ended up violently & painfully ill. IHOP has never been a great experience, but usually mediocre. When you want an actual sit down, full on breakfast there aren t a lot of options, so IHOP it is. The food is usually ok, but the service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and pricing are usually not great. However, on our last trip the service was the best I ve ever had, anywhere. Everything else was subpar as usual. If there were more options we probably wouldn t eat there at all. Wheelchair accessibility: More handicap spots than will ever be needed.

Busy as hell for the staff tonight. Food was amazing, server was extremely amazing. Never saw a manager on the floor. Jeremy did an amazing job in serving not only us but the whole entire dinning room. Shout out to him and the staff. Manager please learn from Jeremy he had it all handled as busy at it was. Tonight we went to this IHOP and the food was quite possibly the best IHOP food that I have ever eaten. Our server was Crystal, (Queen Crystal to some) and she was hilarious. Order almost 60 dollars of food from Uber eats. And these employees didn t even give us even half of our food. The food they did put in the bag was incorrectly made as well. And then they do not ever answer the phone. Called 15-20 times and waited on the phone to their horrible pre recorded message for hours no one ever answers. They crumpled the receipt into a ball and threw it in the bag. They didn t even bother to make half of our food. I used to order ihop all the time but now, because of this location and their appalling service I will never again. Avoid this location at all costs.

Good food and good staff, I appreciate your work and service. However ordering online has not been a good experience. Sometimes the place is closed but not listed as closed on the app. On multiple occasions, I made an order on the app only to find the place closed when arriving to pick up the order. Also, on multiple occasions, there were missing items missing from my order. And finally, once again, on multiple occasions, the place did not recieve my order after I placed and paid for it on the app. I had to show them my confirmation email when arriving to pick it up.

Its so bad service and food served. I ordered from Uber Eats. I came there to pick it up by myself. All the staff only checked for my name. Even though the food was ready to go, I was waiting for an hour to get it. Cause on the receipt, it didnt show my name. It showed the order number. While I was there for an hour, They only kept saying it would come in a few seconds. Nobody double-checked it even though I said so. I was so upset by myself, so I decided to cancel it if it was not ready, and then they brought one bag and asked was it yours. I was so upset and how come the staff didnt care about it. Even if the name wasnt on it, they were supposed to bring it to me to check my orders or other things as well. I felt like they only cared about their zone customer and had no teamwork. Whenever I ordered it from Uber, I always checked my name and my orders on the receipt. I have never had problems at all. I am serious about recommending people not go to this branch. This IHOP is weird to say the least. I ve been here three times now and every single one has been such an odd experience. The first time I came, we had a server who spoke to us like we were her friends and complained about her job the entire time. Prefacing this, I m also a server. Seeing an attitude so purely hateful and monotone was not what I wanted for my experience. I tried to engage in conversation with her by relaying my own experience and she continued to say I was trying to one up her . I ended up pity tipping her $40 on a $30 bill, and she proceeded to pull out a wad of cash of almost $300 which is more than I made that night serving at my job. Needless to say I was a bit upset with how she was framing her slow, bad tipper tables kind of day. The second time we came it was a different older lady. There were maybe 6 tables sat which I can understand is stressful as a server, but she was struggling to even greet us so we gave her $5 for the waters we were served, and with tears in her eyes, we left. The next time we tried to come and eat here it was her again, except there were 3 cars outside and she was sitting on a bench sobbing her eyes out. Now I 100% understand that serving is stressful and it can be horrible when dealing with a rush with no support, but I also think some people simply aren t built for the job. We came again yesterday, except not during the overnight shift. Our server was nice, but very overcompensating and seemed out of her element. The atmosphere was so incredibly awkward we contemplated leaving. There was no music, no people, and the food was okay at best. I probably will never visit this locating again.

To start off the staff was extremely friendly and was able to seat us quickly. They took our drinks orders right away and they were ready to take our order after giving us a few moments to review the menu. The general manager Richard Wilson even took out some time to introduce himself to us and ensure we had everything we needed. Don t ever go to this IHOP. I am appalled at the service they have. I arrived at this IHOP with my party of 8 and not once was greeted. We were standing there for 20 minutes when I asked the cook if there was a hostess or server seating people. He tells me that the hostess was in the bathroom. After telling him no problem we waited another 20 minutes until Emmy the server showed up. As soon as she saw us she rudely goes OH MY GOD. How many? After telling her 8 she goes on to say that only her and the cook were working to which we said we d wait and it wasn t a problem. Mind you the dining area was almost empty except for a few tables. We had no problem waiting but it seemed like Emmy was trying to get us to leave by completely ignoring us or by hiding out in the kitchen. Once she realized that we were still waiting she came out of the kitchen and got in my face as well as my friends asking if we were complaining about her being in the bathroom. Not once were we able to get a word in while she was yelling at our face telling us to take our kids and get the hell out. When my father jumped in thinking she might hit us she told him to sit down. We tried to get her name and she told us it was none of our business. She tried to damage personal property when my father tried to film the interaction by swatting her hand at my dad and the phone. This was the most unprofessional and horrible experience I ve ever had at IHop. If she had simply said she couldn t take our table because they were understaffed we would have left no problem. But the rude and unprofessionalism was uncalled for and acting out in front of kids and scaring them is never ok. I will never recommend going to this ihop and especially not as long as this server Emmy works there.

We went late night after going out. When we arrived there were two groups ahead of us waiting to be seated and 3 or 4 tables with couples already seated. There was no hostess and the server never greeted us instead as she was walking past she heard the group of young Latinos joking with each in Spanish she flipped out accusing them of talking about her and demanded they leave the restaurant. They were of course offended but quickly left and my group followed right behind them, I have zero desire to be served by anyone with that much anger for no reason. Ill probably never go back there.

Arrived at this near full parking lot at the restaurant with my two grandchildren 10 & 8 on Sunday morning at 10:45. We had a 24 min wait just to be seated. There appeared to be some chaos amongst the staff with each telling the front greeter to do different things. Our table was still wet from being wiped when we were seated. Our waiter informed us the table beside us has been waiting over 30 min for their food, that s why I was fighting with the manager about seating any more people when the kitchen is so backed up. I thought this to be inappropriate to discuss with a customer. We gave our drink orders and he left us with menus and we made our choices but waited over 15 minutes before our waiter came back with our drinks. He put them on the table and carried on before asking us what we wanted to eat. We watched as he took orders from people seated after us and I had to flag him down to put our order in after we had already been seated 25 minutes. We waited the expected 30 min after ordering only to have our waiter come tell us the kitchen had cancelled our order so we had to put it in again! We did and asked for refills on the drinks. Waited another 20 min before coffee refill showed up. I entertained the kids with word games but they were naturally getting irritable and fidgety by this time. Another 25 minutes went by before our food finally showed up, but in all that time our waiter hadn t ensured we had cutlery so our food got cold as we waited for utensils. We were eventually given plastic take out utensils because they were out of clean cutlery. While we ate the cool but very delicious food (the only high part of the experience) we could hear someone yelling at the staff about doing things wrong and messing up, etc. VERY awkward and very inappropriate for a person in authority to do to staff in front of customers. We left with our food in containers to escape the manager (?) staff arguing. Despite the pancakes being so tasty, they weren t worth the poor service or atmosphere! Even 8 commented that it s not nice to talk to the waiters like that in front of customers. Pity an 8 yr old knew more than the staff leader who obviously was not demonstrating the skills to lead and run a restaurant smoothly. Parking: Parking lot was full when we attended for a Sunday brunch. Kid-friendliness: I would not say it was kid friendly- no crayons or time passers offered and no children s menu was provided.

Early this year, I ordered breakfast online and went to pick it up, but two women who appeared to be managers said they could not cook the food because the door was broken, so they would automatically refund me within a week. I waited, but it didnt work for a month, so I went to the store two or three times, left my phone number, and was contacted by the head office service. I messaged the team several times, but 9 months have passed since they only said they would refund the money. My loss was $35, but I probably wont be able to say good things about IHOP because of its bad image. I have used it often, but was very disappointed.

This location does not have competent staff, the place barely functions. There are multiple stories of roaches here. Why even consider eating here? EDIT: seriously, the place needs to shut down, I dont get it. Numerous times now Ive come in as a doordasher and theres just no staff. No one at the counter, no waiters. I walk by the kitchen and see 10 plates just sitting there for at least 10 minutes, with only 3 tables of customers. Its insane.

Im a bit surprised that, after all the years of visiting this particular IHOP location, I have not written anything about it... Well, it is better late than never, so here we go. IHOP has expanded their menu items over the years but I always stayed with the omelette; to be more precise, my choice is their Chicken Fajita Omelette which is stuffed with grilled chicken breast, poblano & red bell peppers, roasted onions and Jack & Cheddar cheese. The omelette is served with a side of salsa, sour cream and grilled Serrano pepper that gives some additional punches. The omelette also comes with buttermilk pancakes as default but I recommend upgrading the pancakes for additional couple of dollars. Today, I went for Mexican Tres Leches pancakes, which I think the person who came up with it deserves some major award.

I had just finished my pancakes and was about to eat the rest of my food, when a roach appeared on the table. I was looking at the roach and I kept saying,Oh my God over and over. Another customer sitting at another both got up and tried to kill the roach with a napkin. The roach ran under my plate I pushed the plate away from me and got up from the table. The other customer told the waitress what happened. I became sick to my stomach. I heard the waitress tell the customer that pest control just sprayed. I asked for the manager. A young woman with a black book came and told me I didnt have to worry about the bill . She didnt apologize or show any empathy. Even after I told her she didnt apologize she still didnt apologize. I ask for her name and the number to IHOPS corporate office number. She told me I can give you my name and you can look up the corporate number because I dont know it. Her name was Anna Castaneda the last name may be wrong because her handwriting was awful. The roach was bad but the Managers lack of empathy was far worse.

Ive been to this place before many times so I know what to expect. Today when we came in, they had just finished cleaning their floors. But the smell of the disinfectant was too strong. One of the tables was not sturdy at all. So we moved to another place. The server was good, but I really wish she gave us our space finishing our food in our time and not be hasty to pick up any empty plates. The place was practically empty so I dont get what the reason was to be in such a rush. She did inform us that they were expecting a big party so if we need our orders in on time, we need place the order asap. We ordered, but there was no need to be pushy about taking away empty plates. She did that twice. So no, that is not being courteous. And we still tipped her because we know how this works.

we had to ask for new silverware during 2 different visits as there was still food on them. The restaurant smelt funky musky as though it was not clean, the restroom looked as if they never get cleaned, toilet was filthy. Waitress smelled of cigarette smoke. She talked too much about her personal life/ money issues, it made us feel as if she was soliciting for large tips we felt uncomfortable. We wont be returning there again even though its the closest location to our home.

I only gave 1 star because I cant give 0. We were in I hip approximately 1 hr + because the server was new and took a long time placing our orderand there were things on the menu that were not in the new system. The manager wouldnt help her. We did not get our drinks until right before our food came out and I was charged for someone elses order. I was refunded in cash and and an hr later my refund was charged to my card. Tried to call them stayed on the phone for 10 minutes only to be sent to vm. Would not recommend this place worse management Ive ever seen at an ihop. And they steal your money and wont answer their phone to get it back. I dont blame the waitress as she was new I blame managent for not properly training her or helping her when our problem arose.

We as family of 5 went for Sunday afternoon brunch and not very good experience specially with service we had better experience in the past in the same outlet- had to wait 15-20 minutes just to write our names, then 30mts after placing order we were informed that waffles were out (not sure why we had to wait 30mts to be informed) the lady attending to us had a very indifferent behavior. Finally they didn t even provide us with an itemized receipt this kind of service is enough leaves a very bad taste. If anyone in IHOP is reading this - please keep staff who are willing to work. The food was good which makes us want to visit again but surely not this location.

This location is by far my favorite compared to the one at I35/FM 1825, FM 1431 in Cedar Park, and the IHOP location infront of Target in Pflugerville (by water park). Always great food, and great service the majority of the time. COVID era was hard on their crew but this location is back up and running full speed. Coffee carafe is back at every table! Kid-friendliness: Plenty of smaller menu portions for the kids.

When I walked in with my family i did not have too high expectations of this place. The lady serving the folks there was very rude. But the worst aspect is that she fleeces you off your money. When we were done eating she came back with the iPad where she has already added 15 $ as Tip. I handed over my credit card without realizing what she has done. Unacceptable Customer Service - Never Returning I had the unfortunate experience of encountering an extremely rude employee at this particular iHop location. Just a few minutes ago, I called to inquire about the approximate wait time for a table for my family of five, expecting a polite and professional response. However, the employees attitude was far from that. Her tone of voice was demeaning, and she even raised her voice at me. As my family was with me on speaker, they all heard the entire conversation, which was not only humiliating but also highly uncomfortable. Instead of providing me with the information I was looking for, she yelled, SIR, ITS SUNDAY! YOU HAVE TO COME IN AND WAIT! and hung up the phone without saying anything else. While I can understand that Sundays might be busier than other days, it is no excuse for such disrespectful behavior. All I was asking for was an approximate wait time, and there was no need for her to be so unprofessional. As a result of this appalling customer service experience, I have decided never to return to this iHop location or any other iHop for that matter. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and address the issue, so other customers dont have to go through similar experiences

It wasn t always as bad as it is now. I never write reviews but I want to help people out with this. I will not be going back to this IHOP for at least 6 months if ever. They have to change things. The service at this location has been horrendous for months and the last straw for me was when I witnessed a rude and lazy waitress lying about me to other staff members and calling me explicit words. She didn t want to be caught being rude so she lied and said I was. I was nothing but nice to everybody there every time I was there and I tipped well. I told the manager what happened but she just acted like she didn t know what I was talking about when I know she heard every word she said. These people are disgusting and a great example of standards being lowered to a ridiculous bar. Steer clear. IHOP corporate, please do something.
