Just had the worst experience I ve ever had at a place serving alcohol. A server named Jacob refused to serve me and very aggressively and loudly was saying my ID was very fake and continued to list all these made up reasons why. I recently just turned 22, and when I confronted him and asked him for an ID scanner to prove my ID was real he refused and said they don t have one . How are you a place serving alcohol, harshly accusing your customers of having fake IDs, but not having the technology to back up your claims? We offered to go to a cop to have them scan it for them and prove it was real. A girl named Kristen claimed that once one employee said it was fake they wouldn t be able to do anything about it. I ve been here multiple times, and this is the first time that something like this has happened here. I m disgusted by how these two people treated me and my party by relying on their fake claims, and their refusal to follow up with us in any fashion to come to a solution. Me and my real ID will be going somewhere else for drinks tonight and the foreseeable future.

Very interesting eatery. Large outdoor patio, live band on stage and a ton of craft beer. Heads up, no domestic beer available. There also was an air conditioned area inside we didnt know about til after we had already ordered. It was a QR code ordering system and then someone brings it out to you. The only thing missing that would have made this a great visit was the weather. Had it been a little cooler, it would have been pretty terrific. Another heads up, the menu sausages are available inside in case you would like to see what youre ordering. I had the duck bacon fig sausage dog with some cheese curds and Mac and cheese and the wife had a Double cheeseburger. Food was delicious . My compliments to the chef. Wasnt a bad experience. I wish I could be more excited about it but it had been a long day and were up for all the ruckus. Definitely be back when were ready to hang out and have a good time

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. The serves and bartenders are very rude to the clients. I spoke to the manager about the bartender being rude and she completely ignored me and my group of friends. WORSE EXPERIENCE. They do not care about their clients at all and will not be taking your feedback.

This was our first time visiting Bangers Sausage House. We were in town to watch an Arizona State vs TX State football game. Chris, the manager, took great care of us! We were blown away by the phenomenal service and the delicious food! The beer selection is impressive! So were up all the different types of sausage sandwiches. We also had the brussel sprouts which were so good! The patio is beautiful and so welcoming. We would highly recommend this restaurant and appreciate such great service! Thanks, Chris!

I came by here for lunch because ive wanted to try this place!! The only problem I have is this place has pretty much every favorite food of mine Id have to order the whole menu!! I had one of the sausages I love the smoke flavor!! I also had a beer flight. The beers here are very good and seemed very fresh!! I really enjoyed all the ones I had!! Im definitely coming again. Me and my wife came down to Austin to try out some breweries and on the way home we decided to stop here, although it s not a brewery it sure does have about 200 taps available. First most, atmosphere was electric, amazing , secondly they had a band of women playing country music and they were GREAT, Thirdly.. the food and drinks words cannot describe how delicious the jalapeño and cheese sausage was, the biscuits were criminal. The beers were amazing and because I had an option of selections it made the experience even better.

The place is divine. A garden to share with friends. Good atmosphere, lots of beers, nothing spectacular about the food but its good to accompany some birrines . I think from Thursday to Sunday there is live music starting in the afternoon. The truth is that the attention in each of the places is good. To sit down and order food you can find waiters or use a QR code to see the menu and place the order.

Service is unimaginably slow, and they only had a couple of tables occupied. It s like they only have one waiter. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which was a mistake. It came with approximately 2 bites of grits and a whole bunch of liquid. For $15 I was so disappointed. It was like eating grits soup. Grits are an extremely cheap food, why couldn t they make a bigger portion than 2 bites??? Seriously ridiculous.

Great place on Rainey Street! Big outdoor area. You can get BBQ, small bites, sandwiches. Inside is nice on a hot night(it was super hot this August...thank good for a good air conditioned indoors!) but the outdoor patio is epic. Really good to meet up with a bunch of friends. The food was really tasty! The deviled eggs were yummy, the chicken salad has great flavor (tarragon) and its nice fresh chicken. Perfect small bites for having a couple beers . Speaking of beers ...I think there was like 70 or 80 some odd taps! If you cant find something to try here ... well..... youre lost! LOL. If you are not beer person , they have a couple wine choices , or try a lambic! Service here is excellent. Friendly, fast, and genuine . Their kitchen had a problem the day we were there, and no one let it change their attitude. Thanks to Reese (Rhys?) for great service. We really enjoyed our evening here.

Bangers Sausage House & Beer Garden was a sick spot for dinner! The place is huge! They have over 90 beers on tap, indoor and outdoor seating, and its right on Rainey Street. The staff was cool, and we went when it wasnt too packed. The food was bomb. We started with the Giant Pretzel, which was 10 out of 10, amazing! Then we got the Burger which was good, and the Wild Boar Sausage Coil that was really good! Wed totally go back just for the pretzel!

I ate a Bangers twice while attending a Real Estate Conference this past week! The boudin balls are heavenly and the Mac n cheese is so good. The second time when went everyone in our party had the burger .so good! Fries are crispy. The location is classic Austin and there is plenty of room inside or outside to dine. Great escape from the restaurants near the convention center ;) Vegetarian options: There are a few veggie options but this is a sausage house!

Went to Bangers for the first time while visiting Austin Texas. Great place. Menu was accessible through a QR code. Had an excellent selection of beers. Great BBQ. The apps and food were both excellent. We ordered the crispy fried pickles and cheese curds as appetizers. And got the pulled pork sandwich for the main entre. Very good. Bangers gets 5 stars because they have soooo much space and a really fun vibe. Theres usually live music playing and they have a silly amount of beer. The guy behind the bar recommend me a beer that is maybe one of my favourites now - Firestone Walker Cali Squeeze. Yum. Their fried pickles were very good and very affordable. The only thing I think they can work on is their vegetarian sausages. I preferred the portobello mushroom one because the horseradish sauce with the greens somehow made it pretty yummy. However, the sausages alone were nothing special. But I still really appreciate that they have them. Their fries are really addictive and salty.

The pickles are very tasty and they also have poutine. Super good service, they let you try beers to decide which one you want. Prepare to have a banging time at Bangers! The food here is amazing. The pickles are superb! The sausage is amazing, cooked to perfection and juicy! I generally don t like vinegar coleslaws, but this one was amazing. Again, the barbecue sauce was not really necessary for this meal. Everything just was freshingly good! They have a large beer selection here. The live music was nice. I was not prepared in my mind for the beer hall style seating and we had a rowdy ground next to us after being chill for the first 15 minutes, but it is Rainey street so anyway. My wife said the bathroom experience was a top five lifetime experience, they had hair ties and tampons available. The same experience could not be said about the men s room. Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of families with kids here when we went.

Got a tip from a friend who loves this place. Rolled in here desperately hungry after a long day of travel. It was hot outside but the atmosphere was worth it. Its exactly the type of outdoor spot you expect to see in Austin. Had a saison brewed with citrus peels. Delicious and perfect way to cut the richness of the food. On the recommendation of my excellent server, Daniel, I got the duck sausage with fig and garlic aioli. It was insanely delicious...smoky, sweet, and unctuous all at once. The fries still tasted good even though they were cold; it was the end of their day and I cant hold that against them. Word has it that their biscuits are the shizz but apparently, they only do them on Sundays. Next time. Great local place to gather with friends. Long outdoor picnic tables for eating and making friends with people you didnt know till you sat at the same table. Live music, plenty of beer (we even got to see where it was made!) and fresh meats and cheeses you could buy to bring home. Super fun place to be at the end of the long day. Visited for lunch on a Monday. It was slow, but every bartender spoke to me about their beer and food. Beer selection is massive, and all TX beers are marked. Ordered the Chorizo sausage, which has only been on the menu for a bit more than a week. This was SOLID! Not quite a Mexican chorizo, so not really hot, and it was not greasy like some chorizo. The condiments on the sausage was the perfect pairing. Also ordered the poutine. Fries seemed double fried, and the sausage gravy was extremely good. My only negative was the cheese was a melting cheese instead of a liquid cheese. I would return for different menu items and, of course, different beers. I can see this place rockin on a Friday or Saturday night.

I had the.best.veggie sausage.of.my.life. Everything is freshly home made, even the sauerkraut and mustard. The server told me theyve been tweaking the portabello sausage for a long time, and I told him theyre done. Stop now! They have 19 other sausages, which look delicious (and are meat). Service was good and got seated immediately even though at 95% capacity. Beer was also good with a large selection. But the food was not impressive. Sausage was ok but bun was stale and even hard on one end. Fries were plentiful were basically limp. Routine was pretty bad. Looked like they got made 3 hours ago and heat camped. Soggy fries with what might have been chese curds. Hard to tell by only looking.

100/10 will definitely make it a point to come back every time we visit Austin. The live band played red dirt songs my husband and I love. We brought our 3 month old and even he was welcome! Everyone was super friendly, our food came out fast (and was super delicious!), drinks were yummy and the good vibes were definitely there. Weve told all of our friends and family about it.

Unfortunately, I was kicked out because I brought outside food. The manager was rude while the employee was friendly. We wanted to get drinks and spend the night there, we just grabbed a burger from next door, and they kicked us out.

This past time we went, we had a lot off us! We had family visiting, and the ages went from 9-71 years old, and everyone was happy! The food was amazing! I had half of a chicken BBQ tray, and the chicken was so tender and delicious. There was so much food I couldnt finish it. There was even a dish that they offered for dogs, and ours loved the treat. Oh, and we got the bacon flight too! I highly recommend it! Kid-friendliness: There were items that my kids enjoyed, like pancakes, huge soft pretzels, and a lot more.

Great place to relax, here love music and enjoy a chill vibe. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating. Outside area was spacious with covered picnic style tables.Pet friendly. Really enjoyed the live band. Food was good and portions fulfilling. They were out of some of the drinks we wanted to try. Overall good place to eat and relax.

Amazing beer selection! The food and live band were delicious. You can hopefully score free parking on the streets but very difficult to find an available spot. We parked in the garage and it was expensive. It nice to walk around lots of bars and food trucks all around.
