I recently visited Pour Choices with friends, and unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal. We were served water that didnt taste quite right, which raised concerns at the time. Unfortunately, the next day, a few of us developed severe throat pain and began feeling unwell. Its disappointing to think that what should have been a simple and safe part of our meal may have led to these health issues. I hope the establishment takes this feedback seriously and ensures the quality and safety of their drinks in the future.

Walked in & ordered a round. Bartender charged me $57 for 3 shots and completely ignored me when I was trying to get her attention about it. Then the bouncer started to literally push/nudge me out of the way because he was trying to get other girls free drinks. I said excuse me I m trying to get the bartenders attention and he says well so am I and you re in the way .. ? Never again. I m a bartender myself. This place is absolute garbage.

Had a fun time until the door man would not let my wife and I LEAVE the venue unless we paid him cash. Scumbag. How could you hire someone who purposefully does not let patrons leave unless you pay them? Disgusting. We refused and walked out. Please fix this TRASH, Pour Choices. Your side door bouncer (as of 12/31/2023) is a low life. Allow people to LEAVE if they choose to. I consider this a major hazard, especially if someone is having a medical issue. Patrons shouldn t be hounded for money for trying to leave the venue.

Experienced a hate crime here from management - dont come here if youre queer or trans. My friends and I went in last night. I lost my phone and we went back to look for it. We showed our IDs at the front and went into the bathroom to check. The manager saw us and started screaming and shoving my friend out of the bathroom, even after trying to show her our IDs to show that we were in fact in the right bathroom. 6 or 7 bouncers showed up and dragged us out of the bar, they broke my friends knuckle and they fractured my nose.

visited here on Saturday 11/19 and thought it was a decent establishment until they overcharged my card TWICE on 2 separate transactions, now that I ve gone to the website and tried to send a message I constantly get an error message. There s no phone number listed so the only way to speak with someone is to go in person, I feel like due to this they ve gotten over on plenty of people. I want my money back

Better prices with better pours than the other bar we tried tonight. $5 Titos, and $5 Jameson mixed drinks. Other good specials. Check with the front door dude.. They didnt have live music when we were there (7-8pm ish) but the drink prices were better, and it was seni-quiet enough to converse without shouting. Upstairs was closed on Tuesday night, but they had beer pong by the stairs.

This was a cool bar on 6th. One of the few left, and the only one that seemed open during the week during the day. Great drink prices. Had some live music going from a two piece band. Seating at the bar and a few tables. The bathrooms could use help - you were warned.

Bartenders don t allow turbans or hoods if you don t currently have a turban. Told me he doesn t care about religion, he was wearing loose black jeans, and vans and a burnet beard. Must be new. Horrible look on the club. I have everything recorded. UPDATE. A fake manager offered me a free bottle and then the club never let me get it and the manager stopped replying lmao. I ve made sure none of my clients stop by that bar while we are on tour.

Zack makes the best two dollar Mimosas. The happy hour on Thursday is what I target. Live music is a plus. 4 dollar lone star reds are not tall boys, but I dont mind at all. Two Lonestar 12oz and two mimosas is around 13 dollars. Thats easy money right there.

The bartender on Friday afternoons is the best, thankfully we went when it was slow, around 11:30-1:00pm, the bartender was knowledgeable of all the drinks on the menu and was able to serve us fast. Not many food options as this is a bar, however mediocre and good food options are available on 6th street just a hop skip and a jump away.

Popped into Pour Choices because of the clever name and there was a lovely country singer playing. Its a simple bar with cheap party games like beer bong, connect four, and basketball to entertain yourself when there isnt live music. Did not get a beverage but the bar seemed to stay full and offer rotating specials. Would probably not go back just because I can see it getting very crowded quickly and drinks are made in small plastic cups, but I could be wrong! Make sure you keep a copy of your signed receipt! I received a potential fraud alert from Capital One asking if I left a 40% tip on my bill. The tip was adjusted after, and Capital One let me know this was not the first time this has happened in the last few days from this merchant (Pour Choices). I have filed a dispute with the credit card company, but save yourself the hassle and make sure you take your signed copy or take a photo of the receipt with your tip amount! Its sad that people actually do this to customers.

Minus 5 would be my rating! Arrived at 12:02pm for the crawfish boil (prepaid) and they said they were not open. Came back at 12:15 and the bar was setting up. We have now been here for three hours and the water for the crawfish is not even boiling yet. Worst boil I have ever been to in my life. The bar stopped the refund option. My date just left so I lost that money and everything else.

One of their bar tenders charged my card for 153$ when i only got 2 shots for 12$. They had to write my card information down because they charged me Monday morning at 7 am when I went to the bar Saturday night. Someone is trying to do fraud so make sure you keep you receipts and make sure you watch you card if you pay with card.

We were looking for a layover spot to wait on another establishment to open and chose to stop in for a few drinks. Being earlier in the day, E 6th had not yet turned into Dirty 6th, rendering this bar a good place for a few drinks. I would expect a loud environment here, just like in any other bar down the block. Along with the drinks we were easily entertained by the hoops game, but if basketball is not your thing, you may find the claw game more interesting. Either way the prices are reasonable, even for slightly watered-down drinks, and the atmosphere is manageable. Cheers!

In times like these, I don t like to hurt businesses because it s already tough; however, the bartender wasn t the friendliest. Don t let the door hit you on the way out. We ll get to that. They weren t attentive to the new customers as much as their regulars. If you want to be a regular...than make a poor choice and spend your time here. The only saving grace was the friendly manager who can whip you up some good food, but, limited menu due to restrictions. The worst part of the experience was when the bartender told us to start a tab even though we already had a tab. I told her I wanted to pay cash but my tab was under my name. The bartender continued to tell my wife to start a tab or close out in cash now, my wife says, we already have a tab under this name and we ll close it out in cash because obviously you want people out of here (people were starting to fill up the place and you could tell the bartender was worried about capacity) so instead of telling the new people coming in that they were full, the bartender rushed people who were already there out. Then they charged my card and didn t let me pay in cash. We left and tried talking to the manager on the way out just about what happened trying to clear the air, about how I didn t get to pay in cash (no big deal really, just trying to say how we were rushed out), and Brandi (the bartender)interrupted our conversation and said oh ya, hey, mmmm, don t let the door hit you on the way out wow I was shocked. So if you want be friends with Brandi, make a poor choice, head down to a bad bar on 6th street, and get a bad drink that taste like rubber.

$2 mimosas(Wednesday around 2pm) were yummy and worth every penny! Really enjoyed our time here...the bartender was friendly and helpful. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Great venue, great Local residencies, and the management here is on point. If you are looking for upcoming things, I heard this place is about to have a KILLER NEW RESIDENCY with a futuristic talent unlike I have ever seen.
