Had high hopes. Emailed ahead of my trip to make sure they had the nfl package. They do! Sweet, show up 5 minutes before they open. I get a seat at bar and order drink. The bartenders are awesome! I ask if they can show this game and she said you have to ask the dude. The only guy there. I do and he s annoyed and says it on one tv near the bathroom. Ok, I head over there but no seats. I ask the ladies again if they can put on one of the multitude of TVs nobody is sitting in front of. They said of course we need to ask the guy. He finally comes over and blows me off and says it s in the corner. I said there are no seats there. He just walks away. Even the bartenders were shocked. He s a complete douche and has no respect for the customer. Maybe it s a Midwest thing, but in Chicago we d bend over backwards to help you find your game and spend money. This dude needs some serious training

Surf and turf is 10/10 been eating here for quite sometime the only issue was the doorman and his aggression with preconceived notion s of me. Never had this problem before here. Didnt even speak to the guy and he had intentions of grabbing me, told him im here for the surf and turf (wings) then told me i can find fu*king wings elsewhere. So unprofessional if you go for food just order outside the window

I d be lying if I didn t say the main reason I come here isn t for the Surf n Turf food. So my review will mainly be for them. However, while waiting and eating my food, the wait staff are always friendly and attentive. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (with big fans). Inside is kind of dark, so I usually opt to sit outside. Great place for food and drinks if you like more of a relaxed environment.

This was a great spot for me and my friends to eat, drink, and laugh. We were there on a late Friday night. Its very laid back, and the atmosphere was chill with everyone just having a good time. We ordered the nachos with no meat since one of our friends is vegetarian but with just beans and cheese and a few condiments they were delicious and the perfect size for the three of us to share with our drinks. We would definitely go back if we were ever in Austin as a group again. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

GREAT FOOD! I had the blackened gulf shrimp with cajun fries and salad. The best blackened shrimp I ve ever had! The service and atmosphere is lackluster. But the food is worth the visit.

This is a great bar to watch sports. There s a bar inside and outside. TVs everywhere. Lots of seating. Endless tasty food options. Average pricing for a downtown bar. They also place a sign on the bar that says order here/no standing so that you always have room to walk up to order and get helped quickly - even when it s incredibly busy.

Its more like a cafeteria. You cant just order food at the bar like 99.9% of all bars. You have to get up from enjoying your drink and walk across the restaurant and order from a separate window. WTH? I even saw bar guests bussing and boxing up their own food. Austin, Texas yall funny.

This place was a find. Good prices on food and drinks. Outdoor seating as long as you dont drink...I was inside. I loved the calamari and the Queso Guac & chips. It is deceptively large inside the place and goes back quite a ways.

Excellent bar right in the heart of downtown Austin. Drink and food prices were extremely fair. We enjoyed some chicken wings and hush puppies. The beer was ice cold, and the bartenders were all very nice. Also, the air conditioning was very good, which was refreshing on a very warm day.

Had to make a quick stop in Austin when I stumbled upon this little spot in downtown. Food is very delicious, I highly recommend their buffalo chicken quesadilla. Not only is it large in portion but also in taste! Its tangy and spicy, melty cheese all wrapped in a crispy tortilla. Its a solid choice for its price.

This place was pretty great. Theres a lot of selection and theres a back side of the bar that you can go and chill out at and watch plenty of different games on the TVs. The food is great and so is the staff to me at least and so I would say come in hungry and humble and be ready to be full by the time youre done!! Try the nachos in the fish was good too!

Mine was really a mixed review.. 1st time I went here, I was denied entry as I didn t have my ID on me. I therefore missed a meetup that evening at Lavaca. 2nd time I visited, I had an ID but they dont check ID in early afternoon. I got the crawfish tail tacos and fish and chips. The crawfish tacos were amazing but I didnt know they charged $11 for fish and chips making my total bill $36, and that too just lunch, so it felt like a ripoff! Anyways, thats my experience

Great downtown sports bar. Lots of TVs to watch your favorite team. We were able to watch Army vs Wisconsin football! Food is great and service is fast. Order at the window near the front of the restaurant and they bring it out quickly when ready. The sweet potatoes fries are fantastic, good price, and good portion size. Boneless wings are excellent too, real chicken breast and well seasoned. We had the cajun wings, see pic! No COVID protocols here. Very packed and everyone in close proximity. We are vaccinated, but still a concern.
