@tollivertravels Wow to the lavender drink in a coupe. The old fashioned was pretty amazing as well. Im from bourbon country and forgot that buffalo trace is popular here. It was the first bourbon mentioned and I went for it. A+. The music was fun and it was a really chill rainy Wednesday night. The bartenders were very sweet and danced a lot. Id love to go back.

Waited in line for an hour and a half during a SXSW event but when I was the next to get in- the owner of the bar said that no dogs are allowed regardless of if theyre performing a service or not. 90 minutes of waiting and the act of not allowing a service dog in is quite outrageous and disappointing.

Another great Rainey Street bar! Great drinks and great live music, at the time their selection of entertainment is what drew us in. They also have a great food trailer in the front yard, at the time it seemed quite popular. Cheers!

The outside atmosphere was cool and the DJ playing was great but unfortunately none of that can make up for the bartender olivia (if that s even her name). She was the most vile and Crass person I have ever encountered in my life. Thing is if you have a horrible attitude no one is going to want to tip you and then to confront the customers for not tipping even though you threw the tab book at her. When we told her why she proceeded to have the bouncer or whoever he was escort us out. The only reason this place is still up and running is because of the location. Please save your money and go somewhere else on Rainy, unless you just like mediocrity.

My son suggested we find another place for food because the yard and inside was empty .should ve listened! They have one temperature for food: CCCCOLD Too bad really, had good flavor but it seemed they were just too lazy to heat anything!

Tuesday September 20th 2021 not exact on date but real close drinks were to expensive and watered down the girl bartender was rude she act as though we were interrupting here from doing her home work or social media but it was a cool spot to bad the prices of drinks and the girl didnt match the vibe...I might give it another try...oh also I couldnt hear the person I came to support because of the performer next door.

Fun place to meet friends out on the strip here. Whether or not you choose to chuckle at the names of their cocktails (I did), the drink recipes are actually pretty great. The cleanliness level can vary depending on how busy they are, but the staff seem to enjoy what they do (they need more hands on deck, find them more bartenders!)

While standing at the bar, I literally had this white guy put his hand on me and push me back to say, there is a line, and you need to wait. I told him, dude I m not cutting the line, I m talking to my friend. He then proceeded to continue talking crazy. What was the bar tender s response, who was also white, if you can t let it go, I m not gonna serve you. I was shocked. I explained to her what happened, and she said, just deal with it Meanwhile, she is serving the guy who did it and saying nothing to him. I can t believe I experienced this on a random Sunday in Austin. Times haven t changed. So disappointed in this bar and it s staff for how they handled a clearly prejudiced incident.

Avoid this bar at all costs due to extremely rude bartenders that do not care about the customer that are not the greatest at making drinks either. There are so many better options downtown. First order of the night. Ordered 5 drinks for $80. Drinks took a couple minutes to prepare. Tipped $5 and the bartender gave it back and said, keep it, you need it more than me When asked what the deal was, he then continues to respond that I was disrespectful giving a $5 tip on an $80 bill. I told him to get off his high horse among other things and was kicked out. And to top it off, the old fashions I ordered were terrible. Not worth it. Not a good place if you have to order from one of the bartenders.

Good crowd. Great DJs. Irascible bartenders. Icenhauers is always a great spot to checkout during the weekend. However, getting sprayed in the face with a beer by a young lady bartender for not tipping (for handing me a canned beer) is a bit much for me. Hence the 2 star rating. (Revised. Forcibly removed from Icenhauers for not tipping) While we may have our opinions on how gratuities operate, saying that someone should be removed for such petty reasons is below the standards of any reputable business. (Ordered two canned beers sans tip and the lady bartender made it her personal vendetta to see that I was not served and asked the bouncers to remove me from the bar.)

Main reason I stopped by was to take a picture inside since a friend of mine a few weeks ago wasnt allowed entry since he had been having a good time at the other Rainey establishments. What a horrible experience. We had 3 engineers, 2 doctors and we were denied out of absolute discrimination. For some reason one of the doctors that was Hispanic was denied admittance tonight. It was lunacy and at the power stricken nature of a bouncer who suggested otherwise for no reason otherwise. Why would anyone ever come here again?

The DJ, DJ EyeQ, is excellent, blending new stuff with old school R&B/hiphop from the 90s. The sangrias are excellent. If you can catch the Nightowls live performance, you should. They do a great job covering 70s and 80s R&B and funk classics.
