Have you ever wanted an all inclusive drinking and entertainment experience? Look no further than Barton Springs Saloon. Equipped with the thickest urinal cakes on this side of the Mississippi, this local legend of a pub offers a unique insight into life in Austin Texas. The obviously intentional juxtaposition between the wooden bar tops and the flatscreen TVs makes this place a desirable destination for both nature lovers and sports fans. The overwhelming amount of feminine energy became apparent the moment our group of 8 men walked through the door. Even though bachelor parties are oftentimes a showcase of masculinity, this fem-queen girlboss of a bar set us back on track to be portrayed as well-rounded emotion-acknowledging men having a great time.

A nice spot to pop into on these hot summer days. Great drink selection. They have a pool table. While the establishment doesnt have a kitchen, the saloon is partnered with a food truck in front that has tasty bites (remember ordering is online only, window is for pickup only).

Came here after another bar with my sister and her boyfriend. It was my bachelorette party the next day. The bar before had given us a special bachelorette shots - which we paid for. When we got to Barton Springs, I ordered a tequila sunrise then asked if they had something similar like the last place. Before I finished my sentence the bar tender said no. And walked away. We were not asking for free anything, just wanted to know if you had any fun shots like that. I get not wanting bachelorette parties, but maybe let people finish their sentences lol

I had a fantastic time at this place it was recommended to me by my friend so me and my wife went we had a fantastic time the drinks were good and the staff was really friendly plus she told me she felt very safe in the area so we were able to relax and hang out! Definitely a new place to come back to for us!

Don t come here if you re not white. I only came to eat at the food truck, wanted to stop for a drink, but was looked past by four of the white bartenders. And stood at the bar waiting as they served other white people who came after me. Read Kevin s review as well. These people are overtly racist. Furthermore, the music was mid. You can find a better vibe else where.

Very unfortunate that my group was not welcomed. Myself and 3 Hispanic friends entered the bar and within 5 minutes were told by the owner we dont feel comfortable serving your kind . It was a very traumatic experience and will be making sure to reach out to local media.

Solid hole-in-the-wall dive bar type atmosphere. No frills. Great beer selection. Bar tender was super friendly. They had a wings/fries food truck parked outside. Patio had a ton of seating, smoking was ok outside, and people could bring their dogs. Definitely would revisit when Im in the ATX area again. Very chill place to land after being in traffic.

Such a fun little dive bar. Has a pool table, big outdoor dog friendly patio and the vibes are great! Staff is awesome and there s a wings food truck there too. Right next to P. Terry s too so you can grab food there and bring it over if you want! Oh and they have TVs inside and outside so decent for catching a game too!

Really cool place to get some refreshing drinks south of the river! Has a country feel, benches outside to sit and enjoy the drinks on a nice evening. Very chill vibe. Theres also a wood fired pizza food truck outside. We didnt try any but that seemed cool. Theres a pool table inside to kill some time if the outside weather is not pleasant.

Been coming here ever since my daughter loved to visit the Alliance Children Park. Dive ish type bar where you see the same people each time you visit. Great bartender and a nice selection. They have a Pizza truck that I haven t tried but seems popular. All in all I love to be here:)

We really liked this place a lot. We were visiting Austin for the day and while our car was getting detailed across the street, we stopped by to get a drink. The bartenders were very friendly and it was just a comfortable vibe over all. Drinks were well made and there was a large variety to choose from. We left to go have drinks at a place on 6th street, had one drink there, and decided to come back to Barton Springs Saloon because we like the atmosphere so much better. Also, the pizza was pretty delicious as well!

Loud!!! Hahaha!! Sunday night, and this place was hopping! Nice selection of beers and ales, and handcrafted cocktails -- I really liked the Blueberry Lemonade. My friend found the Watermelon margarita to be delicious. On-site food truck makes fantastic woodfired pizza, with plenty of combination options!! Large outdoor seating area makes up for limited indoor tables and barstools. Dog friendly location, that played fun animal videos on tv, beside the ubiquitous sports channel. Great vibe!
