Tried this place multiple times - 2 out of 5 visits resulted in getting home with the incorrect order/missing items. The store never appears busy & the employees are almost always standing around when I ve visited. Avoid this place if possible, but if you do stop by - make sure to double check your order.

Ordered a family meal for pick up, picked up my food, drove all the way home only to find they forgot to put the chicken in the bag. I called the store and they agreed to remake the meal. I go back to the store check-in, but my food is not ready. I waited almost an hour for them to get me my food and got asked my name several times with promises that they were working on my order. While waiting, I could see that they were very disorganized. Several orders were getting lost. Orders taking a long time to come out and food stacking up in the window. For fast food, that was certainly not my experience. I would have gladly looked past the initial error of leaving out the chicken if they had immediately made it right, but that on top of having to wait so long to get my food was very disappointing.

This place took over 20 min to give us our meal through a drive through only to give us cold fries. I asked for hot fries and they said it would be even more of a wait so I asked for a refund and tried to return the food. They said they don t do refunds. How not when they are not providing quality service?! I didn t want to wait on fries because the rest of the food would have been ice box cold. DO NOT GO HERE!

This place is quickly declining & they need a solution FAST The service was shameful, the manager was unenthusiastic, the team members are extremely rude, significantly long wait, and food quality is ok. I had an abysmal experience at Slim Chicken, and its all thanks to an unbelievably rude employee named Stacy. From the second I walked in, she was a nightmare. She rolled her eyes at me, acted like taking my order was the biggest inconvenience of her life, and responded to my menu questions with pure disdain. The wait for my food was outrageously long, and when I dared to ask about the delay, Stacy snapped at me with a nasty attitude that made it clear she couldn t care less. Her complete lack of professionalism and outright hostility made the visit unbearable. Stacy is an absolute disgrace to customer service, and if management doesnt deal with her, theyll lose customers fast.

My family and I have ordered from this place several times and while the food is good, and the sauces are equally as good. Our biggest frustration is the lack of service. I don t know if it s from Management not being able to train people well but it s always incredibly slow and often times the order is wrong, especially at the Aubrey location. Stopped in to try their loaded fries after a friend recommended them and if Im honest, Id be back here just on the service alone. TK the GM was phenomenal. Extremely disappointing service. After placing a $35 order expecting all my food to be there, I arrive home only to find part of the order. Upset, but still giving the benefit of the doubt, I call to explain what happened, and after offering to head back, the lady on the phone said she d just write my info and call me back with a solution. Guess who they didn t call back? Me. I m really not the type to write bad reviews :/ but jokes on me though because I should ve known better since the Oreo Jar was missing as well when I first arrived to pick up the order I just happened to notice that before actually leaving: guess I should ve checked the inside of the box as well. Slim chicken or Dirty Bird? I ordered the chicken club sandwich combo. The fries were descent but the lettuce had dirt on it. However, the manager refunded my order without hesitation. My wife and I come here pretty frequently, every single time the food has been fresh, extremely tasty and well seasoned, the people working the window are always super friendly and accommodating. The service is a far cry from the usual I don t want to be here attitude up here off of 380. It takes a little longer than your average drive through, but that s because they re making it fresh. The amount of food you get for the price beats pretty much anywhere around too. Home run every time!

Wish I could give food a zero. People at the window were kind but I did an online order came and picked it up an hr later. They forgot to make a whole meal on my order. They made it quick and my wrap had ONE chicken finger. The entire wrap was ONE chicken finger. Half on one side, half on the other. With a drizzle of sauce and 3 pieces of lettuce. No ranch to be found and hard fries. Go to the slims in Frisco this one isnt worth it in regards to quality, the workers at the window are helpful though.

I first ate slim chickens yesterday, and I got the slim meal with sweet red chili sauce, and it was amazing. The fries were crispy and salty with the skin on. The chicken was crunchy and juicy, and I could taste the butter packed inside the toast. But some things they should improve on are knowing how to handle the drive thru, making the chicken slightly bigger and also get a better 20oz cup because the one I got was just white with my name on it, but overall it was really good. Edit: I now understand why they call it SLIM chickens

Worst chicken tenders Ive ever had, if you could call them that, because theyre just cut up pieces of chicken and not tenders at all. For the price I expect more. I dont know who TK is, but hes the official Takeout King. I frequented the Frisco location, but after 2 not so good experiences at the Little Elm location, I stopped going to Slim Chickens altogether. Well, the Takeout King changed my opinion today. His politeness, professionalism, calming tone was all I needed to change my mind. You see, it isnt what you do that people remember the most, its how you make them feel. So, it doesnt matter if TK decides to go off to medical school, he has the gift of entrepreneurship. Slim Chickens, promote him. Let him start training others. I never left a review like this for Chick-fil-A.... wink wink. TK is a gold mine of what stressful people who are surviving this 380 construction need. If he doesnt have a training program and several franchises of his own, someone dropped a valuable ball. Dont drop the ball Slim Chickens. TK reeled me back as a loyal customer. So when I initially got to this location I needed to use the restroom which was an issue but for my wife she literally waited almost an hour for an employee to come out of the bathroom they were literally on their phone in the bathroom playing music and whatnot completely unacceptable as far as the food goes it was on point It was very tasty fresh and couldnt have any complaints on that whatsoever the cashier was very nice as well It was prompt to get the food out to it as quick as possible as well pulling it downside to this establishment is that its adjacent from a high school and towards the end of our meal a lot of unruly high schoolers had just walked in and started to make the atmosphere very unenjoyable with the verbal language going around the lack of respect for the establishment and the patrons and the inside as far as the other negative reviews on here I did not see no where near what they were describing The only complaints I had was the atmosphere and the employee in the bathroom everything else was top notch.

Listen, I eat at Slims all the time, but this was the best visit Ive ever had. Huge portion and piping hot from the fryer, which is sadly out of the ordinary, sauce cups were generously filled, employees seemed to be having fun, even tho theyre having to work on New Years Day. I wish this location wasnt so far out of my way, bc Id come here every day. Wheelchair accessibility: Nice flat and well paved lot with several conveniently placed ramps. Nice smooth floor and plenty of space between tables.

Updated 11/21/23 - went to the drive-thru, waited behind 3 other cars for about 20 mins. When we got to the window, we were asked what our order was. We told them. They came back and said there was a mix-up, and our order didnt get put in. We said, no worries, and waited for our food. Got home, and the Mac n cheese bowl was Buffalo style, even though I ordered plain. I absolutely hate Buffalo sauce. I picked through the bowl and was able to eat about 1/3 of it before the sauce was just too much. What a waste of money. Didnt mind waiting - things happen - but then to get it wrong? Thats messed up. Ordered for delivery and we were really impressed! The chicken was cooked crispy but not overdone or greasy. The flavor options were many, and everything was just great. I got the Mac n cheese bowl - it was cheesy, creamy, and flavorful. My husband got some wings and a spicy chicken sandwich. The raspberry sweet tea was delicious, and everything was packed and presented well. The best thing by far, though, was the Texas Toast!!! Super crispy, buttery, and garlicky. The best weve ever had!

This is among the most disappointing establishments Ive ever visited in North Texas. It marked my first experience with Slim Chicken, and I can confidently say it will be my last. The professionalism of the employees barely deserves a 1.5 out of 5 rating. Their communication is horrendous, as they struggle to grasp even the simplest orders. I received the wrong food, and it arrived cold. The Parmesan cheese atop the garlic Parmesan didnt even melt, indicating how cold it was. The fries were swimming in grease, overly salted, and icy. The buffalo wings were dry, tough, and clearly stale. I requested a remake in the hopes of getting something fresh, but the second attempt was even worse. The foods flavor barely reaches a 1.7 out of 5. Its puzzling why they put the sauce cups inside the box. The butter on the toast is equally dreadful, tasting like pure cooking oil. The service is extremely sluggish. It took nearly half an hour to get the initial order, followed by another half-hour for the revised order, which was still incorrect. I ended up discarding all the food and opted for a salad at home instead. Without a doubt, I strongly advise against trying Slim Chickens.

I decided to try Slim Chickens for the first time and was disappointed due to the lack of service. I ordered online for pick up at the drive through. When I arrived for my scheduled pick-up, there was only one vehicle ahead of me, but I ended up waiting for approximately 15 additional minutes. There was confusion on how I placed my order and a lack up urgency along with a growing line of cars behind me. I eventually received my order only to find it was incorrect upon returning home. Doubtful Ill return since there are plenty of other chicken places in the area with better service.

My first and probably my last time visiting this place. I placed my order through the app. It was supposed to be ready at 6:31, we received it at 6:50ish. The people at the window stood around talking and we had to honk the horn to get their attention. You d think after waiting so long, the food would have been great, it wasn t! The wings were so cold and old..it was like chicken jerky! The fries and the tenders were okay. I was extremely disappointed! Along with the brownie dessert this meal cost me $23.79. I don t mind paying if the food is worth it, in this case it was not!

I will be dealing with the Frisco, TX location from now on. This location (Aubrey,TX) doesn t have it together. First, off they don t offer a full menu. We have to go to Frisco, TX just for Lemon Pepper wings. Second, I went there for lunch today for my wife and I. I ordered a 20 piece BBQ and they gave me 14pcs. Who s counting the chicken in the back? Your chicken is extremely costly not to count chicken correctly. Please open your box and count your chicken before leaving !!!!

Gross! Dont come here. Chicken tenders are salty and the red orange looking sauce is very thick and tasteless. BBQ wings are super bland inside and the only thing you can taste is sugar from the bbq sauce. Fried pickle is sooooo salty! This place does not know who to season their food. Not worth going here. My first experience at Slim Chickens in Aubrey turned out to be quite impressive. Opting for the family meal, we received an ample serving of fried chicken tenders, a whole basket of fries, Mac and cheese on a plate, and around 5 loaves of garlic toast. Accompanying these delights was a generous gallon of raspberry sweet tea, along with an assortment of sauces (with our top picks being the BBQ and honey mustard). The flavors hit the mark; though the chicken leaned slightly towards the salty side, it paired well with the refreshing sweet tea. The fries stood out, boasting a perfect balance of crispiness outside and softness within. My personal favorite, however, was the garlic toast, which offered just the right touch of buttery garlic goodness. The sweet tea was pleasantly balanced in its sweetness. The Mac and cheese also received a thumbs-up. All of this came at a reasonable price of $35, leaving us with substantial leftovers. The staffs friendliness shone through as they readily assisted us and frequently checked in. Without a doubt, Ill be returning for another visit! James(working in this insane heat at the drive thru menu)did an exceptional job helping us navigate the menu and made very good suggestions. Then TAHARA(forgive me if I misspelled it) did a better job at customer service than chick fil a. That s saying a lot these days. I literally just left this location and it was not busy their was 1 car in front of me that got their food really quick. So I pulled directly to the window. I looked inside and there was about 15-20 employees inside celebrating another employee s birthday cake and song included. 5 mins later the person behind me gets their food a big order. 7 mins the young lady with her big shades on advises me they are working on my food. 12 mins the manager brings my food and apologizes for the wait. I foolishly didn t check the bag, gets home and food is missing. My husband Cayenne Ranch Sandwich was dry. Seriously $10 for three chicken tenders and they were barely thicker than the fries which are skinny fries and were cold with no salt. Chicken was bland and was more coating than chicken.
