Great place for our Bar and Eats place in downtown Arlington. The go to snack is the giant pretzel, with a side of the mustard and a side of queso Plenty of good food, more than just hamburgers, they have items like fish and chips, Mac and cheese, tacos and other specials that are well plated. Oh salads, yes they are good also. My go to items are the Korean Bacon burger and the fish and chips. But my gal, she likes the Brisket Hash and a few of the salads. The bar has a ton of beers on tap, I usually go for the Milk Stouts (dragon and temptress). But also like the old standard Shiner (bock and light) Mix drinks and wine for those of you who want to mix it up a bit Atmosphere is great. Usually open seating, and there tables inside and outside. We like the option to either sit at the bar inside or outdoors so we can see the stage Plenty of picnic tables and chairs around the stage to just chill and watch live performances. Parking is not a problem, you might have to walk a block but that is for all the places in that area

I went here to celebrate my sons birthday. I ordered the brisket grilled cheese. The food was amazing. The fries (which are my favorite side) were plentiful. Jules was phenomenal. The only thing that keeps me from giving this 5 stars across the board is because there were some pesky flies that we had to keep fanning away from our food. In spite of this I look forward to visiting again.

This place is in walking distance from me, and I never knew it was there. My wife and I went there for lunch on a monday after a cowboys home game. I only saw one guy in there serving, but his Service was great! The food was tasty and nicely presented. Just simple but yet exciting. I loved the atmosphere, the people and the music.

What an awesome experience! They have plenty of outdoor seating for those beautiful sunny days! We shared the Smoked Brisket Cheese Fries and it was much bigger than I was expecting. You could easily share it with 3 or 4 people. I tried their Chorizo Tacos which were nice and tasty! My gf had their Brisket Grilled Cheese with jalapeños. It was the perfect size with a side of fries that have bits of the potato skin that I love so much! If you like mimosas try them here for $5 a pop! I highly recommend their Tipsy Tea and Blueberry Lemonade cocktail. They were mixed so well that I was tipsy before I knew it! I want to give a shout out to our server Victoria for recommending their Mexican Candy shot which was super tasty and sweet! You wont regret coming here to feast and drink!

The outdoor, rustic feel was tempered with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was courteous, but their attention was centered on those more interested in consuming alcohol than having a good dining experience. Overall, I wasnt expecting anything grand and they delivered a mediocre experience. Thank you for dinner.

This place is a great location for lunch when the weather is perfect. My local area does not have lobster rolls and had to order one. It was good. The fries were OK and pretty typical for BBQ/bars. What was not good was those fried pickles. They may be the best I have had in a very long time! Perfectly coated, just enough spice to get the tongue dancing. We also ordered pork belly poutine, another must-have, and chicken wings. This place is great for a large get-together with the supple outdoor seating.

Our server, Geo (I hope I spelled that right), was promptly at our table with menus and to get us drinks. He provided impeccable service and our baby absolutely loved him. He made sure to interact with her every time he was in her sights. The atmosphere and service alone were amazing but the food matched in quality and flavor. The Tipsy Oak is a MUST TRY if youre in the area. And if you get Geo, you wont be disappointed!

We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite hot outside so we opted to eat inside. It was pretty busy but we were able to order drinks quickly and we didnt have to wait long for food. We ordered several drinks - the jalapeño margarita was quite refreshing and the old fashioned was very well mixed. We ordered the brisket fries along with sharing some of the fried cod tacos and brisket tacos. Both tacos were very tasty but really the fried cod took the win as it was very good, light fish and fried to perfection. Really good food overall. Would recommend.

My husband, brother in law, and I came in last night for dinner. We saw how crowded the place was and we were a little worried about the service we d get with how busy it was. But let me say, the service did not disappoint. As soon as we sat down we had a waiter rush to our table and get us menus and drink orders. The waiter was very on top of our table and very friendly. He got our drink orders, and the bartender was very quick to have drinks made and brought to us (I got a sangria, my husband got a margarita, my brother in law got a shiner) For an app we ordered the poutine with pork belly and egg. It was AMAZING. My husband and his brother had never had poutine before, and looked at me weird when I ordered it, but they ended up eating most of it quickly. I got the brisket hash and it was very very good, I personally like a little spice in my meal so I felt like it was missing that, but with some hot sauce it was perfect. We enjoyed the live music playing and the food very much. Finding parking was an absolute nightmare though

Came here for a quick dinner bite and some drinks and was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered the brisket hash bowl and asked for a side of tortillas and my server told me they didn t have any but they serve tacos and quesadillas? Oh maybe they re out? Nope! Saw serval people around me eating tortillas, tacos, quesadillas etc. Oh maybe they don t serve them on the side? Nope! I asked two very kind servers (on my way out) if it was possible to order a side of tortillas and they both responded with Yes of course! I can get you some if you d like! Honestly was just very frustrating and upsetting. As a server myself, if we don t have something a customer is requesting I would suggest the next best alternative. But to flat out lie and say y all don t have any? Not okay. Additionally, I did order a Blueberry Lemonade cocktail in which I am 99% sure had zero alcohol. I have years of experience bartending so my knowledge on cocktails is fair. I m convinced I got served a mocktail. Didn t order any more drinks and my boyfriend passed on ordering himself one after tasting mine. Regardless, food was okay. Cute outdoor patio and no mosquitos was the only positive thing. Otherwise, I do wish our server hadn t lied to us and hindered our overall experience here.

Met family (5 adults, 2 teenage boys, & a 2 year old) for an early birthday dinner. Everything was wonderful, except the heat!. The service was great, my husband said the beer selection had a good variety, the appetizers (2 orders each of calamari, and chips with 3 sauces) were gone in a flash (not because we were overly hungry, they were that good!), and everyone loved their dinner! We had cod, blackened salmon, chicken strips, brisket grilled cheese (my son s was doubled!), and the bacon burger. It was hot but Missy D (2 year old granddaughter) ate appetizers and a bowl of Mac n Cheese. Win! And, to top it off, the group playing live music was exceptional and now has a 2 year old groupie! Wish I could post the videos! Parking: We parked across the street where a new business/condo is going in. Kid-friendliness: The menu has several kid-friendly foods (we have picky kids so that is appreciated). The outdoor patio has picnic tables with umbrellas, a huge fan, and dirt/gravel so kids can wander around a bit and/or dance to the live music.

This place needs to invest in a/c in the inside dining area or a better system if they do have one. My party was literally sweating at the table. Food was pretty good. Mac and cheese was very good. Poutine and pretzel app were also good. The lobster roll was bland tbh and just tasted like lobster ans mayo. There was a decent amount of lobster in it though. Service was friendly and quick, but its hard to know who is part of the staff as they all wear their own plain clothes. Its not the kind of place that needs a uniform per se but a tee shirt or something would help.

We are in Arlington Texas for a concert and wanted to eat lunch locally. We decided on The Tipsy Oak. We were happy with our choice. Our server Kelsey was very friendly and helpful with suggestion for choices. Her service was excellent. My wife had the Southwest Chicken Salad. It had a good amount of grilled chicken. The salad greens were fresh and crisp. My wife opted for regular ranch dressing on the side instead of the jalapeño ranch. I had the blackened cod tacos. They were flavorful. The Sriracha aioli was good compliment to the blackened cod fish. I also ordered a side of Cole slaw. It was very good. It is not a mayonnaise based Cole slaw. Which I prefer. We are planning to come back for another lunch to try some of the brisket options. We liked the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The Tipsy Oak is warm and inviting. We would recommend The Tipsy Oak for your dining.

Desired to visit for a while, food, atmosphere (music on stage especially) did not disappoint! Had pork belly wraps, DELICIOUS..chicken tenders, hot fries, queso/chips - all very good; queso needed more bacon but very good flavor. Will definitely reorder next visit. Service OK, love to see some improvement. About 20 mins before anyone waited on us and had to ask. Told server I m good tipper especially for great service. Didn t improve service experience . Took much too long to order food/drinks, server never asked or retuned in time for refills of bar order that we desired losing money. Had to interrupt other waiters for some service. Instead of helping each other they asked if needed MY server after I d tell them what I needed. They should help each other like they do with bringing food to table. All I requested were napkins, sauce, cutlery, ice; come on, where s the teamwork? My server forgot these items above since busy waiting on other larger tables. Didnt understand this when so many servers in area with few tables with 2-3 guests, but our sever had about 3 very large tables (1 with doz ppl) and our small party of 2. Think would help him recall orders too if he wrote orders down vs memory. He s hard worker, plenty of time to observe sitting at patio entrance. Wasn t surprised he forgot items, too much to recall when multiple items ordered from us alone. Did express this to him - he was very kind, engaging and charming. Will return but hope service experience better next time snd he has more help. We waited much too long in between for attention, bar orders, payment and food. And most times we had to callout his name to get attention. We took payment to him. Overall a pleasant night and good experience. Band phenomenal!!!

Overall not imoressed with the food or service. There was a group of 4 of us. Two of us got burgers. Burgers totally lacked any kind of seasoning or flavor. I also asked fir mine to be cooked medium. It was as well done as my friends who did want well done. Our server was no where to be seen for most of our time there so couldnt let her know the burger was overcooked let alone ask for any refills. I finally went to the bar myself to refilll my water. From the other people in my group the chicken quesadilla and chicken sandwich were ok. It wasnt even busy so no excuse for poor service. The establishment isnt is pretty cool and would be so much better with good food and service.

JAMIE!!! - Best & Most Attentive Service: Serious fast turnaround on orders, Multiple checkins & refills. Correct order ( no note pad ) & food delivery with 15min. SUPER QUICK SERVICE!!!! Previously we had pretty boy (cam) with mullet and another server shorty girl ( brown hair ) - absolutely slowest server and worst experience ever: forgot order, overcharged extra drinks added to order, abnormally long delays. Will absolutely request Jamie every time we come, if shes on schedule! Great service and thank you! Parking: first come first serve, however able to find parking fairly close every time we come. Wheelchair accessibility: patio seems to be accessible.

We had a group of 12 that went and ate outside on the patio. The servicing method they used was fantastic. It was like we had three wait staff keeping up with his at all times and our drinks were never empty and our food came out hot. They had a live band playing that the kids loved while we sat for a good three hours enjoying food and drinks and never feeling rushed to leave. We spent quite a bit per person, but our group also had a few alcoholic beverages that was the cause of that. We will definitely go back again. Probably more like a $15-$20 per person place, but with drinks we were closer to $25-$30 a person.

Honestly Id give this place more of a 4.5 considering the overall package/setting. Parking can be a bit of a pain and the inside feels a little cramped. For somebody looking for seared tuna, Id absolutely recommend their tipsy tuna nachos, for 16 bucks this price with the amazing portion and great taste was a pleasant surprise. Their calamari had a unique take with good quality and decent crispiness but I wish they kept the sauce on the side.

Management should remove soups from the menu ... the alleged lobster bisque was a gelatinous blob .... awful ... the tortilla soup was better, but not good ... if youre not going to do it right, then just dont do it ... the fried pickles were delicious, and the club sandwich was good ... sweet potato fries were also very good ...

It was a cool, interesting find, and the setup of the place was fun. You could sit inside or outside in a backyard setting of sorts. I had the Brisket fries, and they were tasty. They also have a vast array of beers, ales, and IPAs. Food : 3/5 |

Ok first off, this is not a negative post just a helpful advice, ok I understand that later in the evening on weekend business has picked up, with that being said ok I ordered one of their brisket grilled cheese. It was ok but light on the sauce ( sweet baby rays came thru for rescue) but the topic really at hand was the side of Boudin fries. It was ok but couldve been better if more than a buried in cheese sliver of gravy was put on it and was less greasy just had to share my experience I have yet to try the burgers and chicken that looked so good being brought out and others have raved about anyways besides that its a cool place with a groovy vibe!

Nice open patio with good amount of seating. Some of the tables have umbrellas so you can shade from the sun. They also have seating inside and in a covered patio. The food came out quickly and was tasty. Would definitely come back with more friends for brunch. Theres a good mixture of patrons, all ages. Lots of families and young single, and older couples. Overall a great atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly place

I bet this place could be awesome, but when we went by today for a late brunch... it was seat yourself... and even though 4 or 5 tables were open, they were all covered in trash from people who had left. Although my fiance and I like outdoor dining and decent dive bars... the bare minimum is keeping at least a single table clean wheb its self seating... Thumbs down.

Party of 3. Waited for an hour after ordering appetizers. Waited so long ordered meal before appetizer came. Appetizers were stale, like they had been under the heat lamp for a while. Meal came 10 minutes after appetizer. Hot wings (ordered as a meal) arrived cold. Blackened cod tacos were mediocre. Lobster roll (hot) was good. Service was terrible, slow and intermittent. Had to flag waiter down multiple times.

Two overflowing Lobster Rolls, Tacos & Grilled Cheese & Brisket. Well worth the $145 with drinks for 4. Band was wonderful & seating outside was perfect on a warm spring night! Looking forward to coming back.

The food was delicious, they have outdoor seating to accommodate the boutique/ bar style indoor part of the restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good if you take into account the bar style restaurant. There is waitstaff but they all share the room and because the restaurant stays packed you get family style service. Overall I would recommend we ve been multiple times with no complaints.

We had the smoked brisket cheese fries, fish & chips and the lobster roll. The food was pretty good, nothing really wowed me. But Id go back again if that means anything. The live music was great. We really enjoyed sitting next to the (multiple) fire pits outside sipping refreshing drinks and listen to the music
