I have loved this restaurant for years. Good, fresh food. The fried chicken and all the different flavors of fried rice are my favorite. Good portions also- I feel like I got my money s worth! I have always been happy with my experience (dine in and take out) I have been coming for over 4 years.

I went to orchid today and it was so worth it . I had the wild west burger excluding the bacon and it was so delicious. If I may, it was the sexiest burger I have ever eaten. The juices, the onion rings, they egg! Just perfection!. Along with the Cajun fries and their ranch and I dont know WHAT IT IS they do to their ranch, but If I wouldnt get a stomach ache I would eat it by itself #bigbackmoment. But if their was one downside..it would be that theres a bitttt to much onion rings on the burger . But other then that I loved everything! . And dont get me started on those mozzarella sticks! Phew !

Dined-in on a Wednesday evening semi busy environment but the service was quick.The staff was friendly and helpful as it was my first time here with my sis.We had the Mango strawberry blended drinks 8/10,buffalo chomps 8/10 loved the sauce,pork buns (wasn t a fan of the pork)but still decent,crawfish fusion 10/10 wasn t spicy but was a hit in my book,and the crawfish po boy 10/10 my sis loved it.My fav was the fresh cut sweet potato fries with sugar just wished it was served with a special sauce or something. I recommend to visit during the week for a quick bite.

Shout-Out to Stellar Service I recently swung by Orchid City for a quick bite, and I was blown away by the top-notch service! They should be ashamed of their food here. Ugh! I started trying their calamari and they bring out these strips of some kind of fish product and some of the most watery marinara sauce Ive tasted since St Louis. Bleh! I sent the dish back and the staff was very nice and suggested I try their Buffalo chomps. The Buffalo chomps were so tender and tasteless Im sure they served me canned chicken chucks in Buffalo sauce. It felt like I was being served MRE quality of food. Waste of money!

Orchid city has always been my go to spot ever since I attended classes across the street from 2013 and quality had never changed. If anything it s been more flavorful lately. The workers are super sweet and the owners Mary and Tai always take care of us. My favorites are crawfish, crawfish fried rice, sizzling beef plate, gumbo and fried mozzarella sticks. The burgers are huge and tasty too. They also have a drive thru for your convenience, but we like to dine it with the hip atmosphere. Definitely give them a try! Tell them Jigglyjames sent ya

Food might have been better but the very slow service created a negative eating experience. There were only 3 other tables full but it took over 30 minutes to get food. We went on Valentine s Day. Upon entering we were greeted by a nice welcome and smiling faces. I had the Downtown Burger, Sweet Potato Fries and my Fiancé had the Salmon and Rice. Service was prompt and professional. Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The fries were delicious and the Ranch sauce was the bomb. The Manager/ Owner Tai took time out to ask how everything was and to chat for a few minutes. Very nice guy! We left happy customers and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place. Dietary restrictions: They will prepare food for lactose intolerant customers.

Trendy Asian fusion cafe. We ordered the Downtown and Western Burgers. The burgers are photo worthy and had a savory aroma, crisp thick cut bacon, egg, fresh vegetables, we just ate them before this review. The cajun fries were good, their onion rings and mozzarella sticks were better, but their fries with shaved beef was the best. Ive ordered their sizzling beef before and it had a savory flavor, but felt it was too juicy. They used to serve on white dinnerware not baskets. Friend ordered mangonada and it was delicious! Across from the college. Parking: Limited spots, but usually sufficient. Not sure how congested with neighboring church, but college parking is across the street. Wheelchair accessibility: Close parking, concrete floors, tables and chairs, regular counter height, ADA restroom.

The food was ok (lacked a little seasoning), very overpriced in my opinion. When checking out the girl at the front wasn t entirely rude, but she wasn t friendly and didn t even try to give hospitality, she just saw us and walked away until my friend had to check at the front since she had cash. They re listed as a cafe but don t share their WiFi to customers so I honestly don t even know they call themselves a cafe. The place does look nice inside, if you re just going to get drinks then yeah it s an ok place, but to study and eat it s a no for me. The booth tables are kinda wonky as well, so I d say sit at an actual table. Overall it s just a place you d visit once and never come back :(

I ate here since it first opened and food quality has always been good. I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks. Theyre the best Ive ever tasted. The sliced beef with spicy basil rice is also one of my go-to orders. The sizzlin steak however did not have much taste. Maybe it would have tasted better if they cooked it medium or medium rare because mine came out well-done. Also, I loved the birthday cake smoothie when they used to serve it. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered crawfish and rice, fish and shrimp and two pork belly sandwiches for delivery 03/07/2023 around 1030 or so via door dash. The only plus side to my experience, food arrived promptly, I live 5 minute drive but wanted the convenience of delivery while showering. Food was Luke warm, with the portion of crawfish and rice much smaller than when I have ordered in the store. The fish and shrimp batter fell off while attempting to dip in sauce and the flavor was bland. My pork belly buns were fresh but the meat itself was cool and chewy, nothing like I am use to. I wasn t going to review my experience but when thinking of the $45 spent on this meal, I wouldn t feel right for someone else to be bamboozled by this place for the sake of greed or not really caring. Lately they have taken L s on the their product quality. I will not be returning for sub par products paid with hard earned money.

The food is great and the owner is cool. But unfortunately this will have to be the last time I go here. This is the 4th time I have had either human facial hair, human hair or a screw in my salad. I reached out to the owner and he apologized. I advised the employee about it last week and she said Im not the only one who has complained about this and that they have new cooks, etc. Thats not my problem. For drink a mango passion aloe Vera with bobba tea. Thats my order today I ran across an unpleasant female individual, she got my tea order wrong by not adding bobba and refused to add bobba she said it was too late. All she had to do is rip the wrapper and add the bobba. We were the only clients in there. My order then came and I asked for pickles she went to the back and pretended to ask the cooks. Came back and said there was none,lied to my face. We ate and then I had leftovers so I approached her but she was too busy on her phone to acknowledge me. So I asked the younger gentleman for a to go box and he kindly gave it to me and I asked for a pickle and he even asked how many. I tipped this young man to show gratitude. They obviously serve burgers here so her response was lazy. I will be back but will order from kiosk from now on.

I haven t been here in a while, the food is normally good. But last night I ordered my regular Southeast Chicken which was good. The problem I had was it was 4 males in the kitchen an the lady standing bagging the food. One of the men started sneezing so after the 3 sneezing I got up to see was he in the kitchen without a mask on sneezing more than 3 times in the food area. So I asked the lady can you ask him to put a mask on while he s in the kitchen preparing food. I shouldn t had to asked that cause that is very unsanitary.

This restaurant was horrible there was hair in my food and my burger was raw, their customer service was alright, how ever I think they need to be more sanitary, because I ate 2/3 of my burger before I found multiple strings of hair in my food, which mean I could have eaten some hair before I even found out. I guess you have to catch them on a good day. I go here at least once each week on my way home from work and lately the food has been horrible. Today I ordered 2 crawfish fried rice mild, and told them no spice at all and to not over cook it. They did it anyway and my food it was completely burned or scorched and so spicy where I could not eat it. I called 3 times to complain and of course they didnt answer the phone. I would have drove all the way back there but I live in Irving and it would have cost me more to drive back. This happened last time I was there.. So this seems like the norm now, so I will not be back.

Zero pride taken in this establishment Unpainted Particle board all over the dining area(for years), Burger patty was black and in 4 pieces. Fried egg was rock hard, bacon wasn t separated before being cooked, toppings thrown haphazard all over the take out box. Fries were plain when I ordered Cajun. They offered me a refund before I could even get done telling them the problem(probably because he doesn t care or take pride either). I gladly took the refund and left this review.

I specifically asked for a sandwich dressed with pickles and ketchup only. The order was repeated twice. The sandwich was still made to the store specifications. I was accused of lying when I brought the sandwich back in and requested it be made to my specifications. In the end the establishment made another sandwich without ketchup. They should not have bothered

Good place to have a meal! I came here with a large group one day and most of our table was served in a timely manner. We had mozzarella sticks & fried calamari that each came with a large dish of marinara sauce. Both were good & very crunchy. I really liked the fried shrimp & fried red pepper tofu. The spicy basil fried rice is my favorite base to pair with each protein, but this time the rice tasted slightly hard/undercooked. Food is good, but I don t really like the boba here. Update: Went back here to try the food again, and this time my crawfish fried rice tasted burnt.. not sure if I ll get any more rice dishes in the future.

I was skeptical of this little place not close to anything across a closed college campus BUT Im glad I stopped to try them out. Fresh food. they were clean and friendly. Prices arent bad either. I got the burger and cajun fries. definitely recommend (at least the burger until I try more stuff next time) Update: I have now tried the Cheese steak sandwich and that one wasnt bad either.

This spot has changed over the past year...from the stylistic layout to the video menu. The food has away been over the rest. I appreciate the personal atmosphere without the traffic of those huge eateries in the Highlands. The estimation of the food merits the expense.

Great food but today when I went to pick up the order ordered 2 dozen shrimp. But only got 1 dozen. Their phone is constantly busy.. please address my issue! Update: I called them as soon as I got home and they said they will leave a note on my account. However when I called back to place an order again, they couldn t find their note. My guess is that they never wrote anything down in their system. The girl said, they usually don t do this because it has to be addressed the same day. I did call back and I told them about the review I posted as well. She then said she needed to talk to her manager. The girl said, we can t usually do it because you didn t call back but we will put a note in it this time. Also next time make sure I put up a review. I told her I did and she said, yes that s why we are going to honor it for you . The way she talked and addressed the situation was pointing the error at me. She made me feel like I was the bad person. I will never be going back to this establishment ever again. There s plenty of good places that has the same flavor! Kickin crab and boiling crab. They always have shrimp and oysters!

I am a regular customer at orchid city. My favorite thing to get is the grilled catfish but sometimes it wasn t properly grilled and cooked. This happened three times by the way! The food and service is good overall but I hope this doesn t happen again.

I decided to try Orchid City for the first time in at least 4 years on 6/28/20, in my quest to eat local...what a disappointment! I called 4 times prior to arriving at Orchid City in an attempt to place my order over the phone, but the line was busy. I ordered food from the male server, 1.25 lbs of crab and 1lb of crawfish then sat in my car to wait the 15-20 minute period I was told itll take. Since were in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, there arent many places to sit on the inside, and I felt safer in my car due to people removing their masks to eat. After sitting in my car for about 5 minutes, I returned to order 1lb of shrimp and 3 potatoes from the female server then went back to my car. After about 15 minutes, I put my mask on and told my bf (whom I was on the phone with) that I was going in to get my food. I looked up, and the female server was walking to my car with a bag containing my order in her hand. She said, Heres your food...and just for your future reference, next time you come...we dont bring your food to you. You have to sit inside and wait for us to call your name. Ok, bye. WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC WHERE FOLKS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK, PER COUNTY ORDERS! Why would I sit inside the restaurant where tables are closed and folks are eating with no masks? Besides, I was putting on my mask, in my car, heading inside to get my own food. Anyhow, I left and drove home to eat. The food was...bland, and tasted like water with chopped garlic. I ordered Shazam because I like spice, but didnt taste any peppery kick. My crab legs were dry due to being overcooked. The crawfish were bland and runny, and the shrimp was mushy and overcooked. The best thing was my 3 potatoes. Thats $45, wasted! Six hours later, Im home with a bad stomach ache and nauseous. Needless to say, I wont be returning! Red Claws is just a few miles away with much better service and better food.
