Great food !!! Lazy staff . There is a girl that works to go orders. I cant remember what her name is, but she is amazing . She wasnt there one evening and I ordered to go because I have a two year old . She wasnt there one evening, and the bartender was taking over, and it was during the week, and it was very slow .. The bartender told me I would have to come in .. I said I have a two year old and he is asleep .. Also, I had tipped five dollars on the app, just for them to bring the food only if you steps . So I had to go in, get my food .. I asked her for a drink, and I was also charged for that ... You would think since you cant bring me my food.At least give me a drink . I did tip you for me to come in and get my food . She was very rude . Some people just need to learn customer service and how to be nice . Besides her this place, it is usually great .

We brought our teenage grandkids here at their request. We got seated right away and waited. Our server, Jay said he need to clear another table before he could take our drink order (the restaurant was not busy and there lots of clean tables). We eventually got chips and salsa no water and eventually the queso we ordered. We had to ask where our drinks were. We all got drinks except my grandson who ordered strawberry lemonade. Jay said they were out and he had to make more. It eventually came and we got to order our food. . When our food finally came we sort of got what we ordered, but not quite. We saw Jay taking orders, bussing tables, making tortillas and evidentially making strawberry lemonade. Not the best dining experience. Jay needs a raise and they need more waitstaff and table bussers. Prolly wont be back.

The manager at this location is rude and the waitstaff is slow, and untrained. Waited 90 minutes for 4 dinners, chips and queso, and a kids meal. In that 90 minutes I never once had my water refilled. The restaurant wasn t busy, we were one of 4 other families there. When we complained, the manager was rude and offered no assistance. My 13 year old son loves OTB, and we decided to try this one on his birthday. This experience ruined his birthday.

Brianna was Fabulous as she remembered everything that I said on my order, as I asked for lots of ice in my Tea and my lemons for my Tea to the Sweet and Low. She was very friendly and Super nice and she came and checked on us to make sure if we needed more Tea or anything else. In my book, she went beyond Customer Service. ordered to go on the restaurant website. got home to find out they didnt include guacamole, sour cream, pico or jalapeño peppers for my chicken fajita nachos so I got dry nachos. So disappointed after looking forward to my nachos. Also ordered chicken fajitas, it looks like everything was included for them. I tried reaching the restaurant by phone and after listening to the phone tree and choosing option 1 the phone just rang and rang. Literally no one answered. Good place to eat and drink, if you desire adult beverages. Its near the mall, so can eat before or after shopping. Once you get pass the old wood smell, you can enjoy the rustic decor and the custom liquor bottle light shades. There is plenty of seating and a covered patio. Seating is a combination of booths, tables, and banquet seating. The service during this visit was very good. Our food came out hot, tasted delicious, and plated well. It was slow getting our ticket and I wasnta fan of the server having to go to the back to process the payment, but overall a good experience.

We came in to eat we were seated but never served. We arrived just behind another family and were seated behind them. We waited where they were greeted and there order was taken. Normal situation. Then we waited, waited and waited some more. We were never even acknowledged. Then another party came in an was seated beside us. Waiter quickly acknowledged them saying he would be right with them. Sure enough he returned with chip and salsa for that table ready to provide service. We got the servers attention and let them know we had not had any service yet. They acted surprised saying they would need to find someone to serve us and went back talking to the second table. We left, never have we experienced this kind of behavior from a server. AND NO THEY WERE NOT BUSY.

OTB appears to have made changes limiting wait staff. This location takes it to extreme. This location is always stretched. They have run off enough customer, you can get a table fairly quickly. Still, you are going to wait to get your food. Whether you will get what you ordered is iffy. Amazingly, I think we got most things accurately this visit. it is good enough we will stop in about twice a year. We usually travel to a further location for better experience. 2024 - no more cheese. It is $1.50 for an ounce

Went to On The Border with the family. Like most Mexican restaurants, it is themed well and inviting. The food was hit and miss, and my enchiladas were super hot and tasted good. My wifes were Luke warm. The issue today was the service. Like most know, I judge a good restaurant by checking on you inconspicuously and keeping my drink filled. My drink was empty before our food arrived and stayed that way till we were almost done. Why? Because a runner brought the food. The waitress stopped by and asked how everything was, and if we needed anything, we told her a few things, including my drink refill. She brought an extra plate and forgot everything else. She finally came back after we were practically done, then asked if I needed a refill. I said, Well, not anymore. The overall experience was OK. Great atmosphere with family. The food was ok. Service was below average. I have eaten at good On The Borders, and everyone has a bad day. It wasnt so bad that I wouldnt return, but Im not in any hurry to go back.

Food was decent... service wasnt that great. First arrived and stood at the counter for 10 minutes although they werent busy at all. Then our waitress only had 2 tables she was serving and she only filled up 2 drinks at our table the whole time. We had a table of 6. Only 2 people got their cups refilled. It was a beautiful day to hang on the patio. Our waiter was courteous, remembered our order and its details without writing anything down. It wasnt too crowded. If I could change anything, the free style fighting on tv wasnt the ideal ambient accent. Actually, it was pretty disconcerting with everything else being so lovely. I couldnt really change my seat to change my view, but everything else was fabulous! Vegetarian options: I think this type of food is easily made vegetarian if it isnt already. I dont remember if the chile relleno is labeled V, but its my fave, no meat. Salads and bowls could easily be meatless, guacamole, rice, beans, etc

Our server Nicole was so very kind and had the best service I have ever received from any business! We even went an hour before close. Had our Christmas lunch on Friday and it was absolutely terrible. Ordered our drinks and had to catch the waitress and ask for the drinks no drinks while eating salsa and chips sucks. After waiting and waiting some more We had to ask the waitress please hurry and take our order because we were on lunch and she had already wasted 30 mins ignoring the table. Took an hour to get our food ,another table no bigger than ours was her main focus. We literally had to pack our lunches to go when they did finally start bringing out the food , we asked for checks, all immediately had our cards on the table and she disappeared again.. knowing were were late and trying to leave she was gone 15 mins before finally coming back to take cards, then told one of our party she couldnt get her change because of the bartender being busy. Then brought our checks back to be signed and charged my friends card two times , once for her own ticket and then for mine as well instead of charging my card. Absolute mess. We go there every year for our Christmas lunch , and birthday lunches throughout the year but we all agree that we will not be coming back to this location ever again. Also not a fan of paying $11 for two tiny flautas on a pile of lettuce.

Me and my aunt went to this location on a Sunday evening.when we got there we waited to be seated, when we got to our table there was food on the floor where we were sitting. And tables around us havent been cleaned yet. The food was just okay. The service was kind of slow. Went on a Wednesday night before church. Restaurant was pretty empty. Appeared only 1 or 2 servers were working while we were there. Bowl of queso seems to get smaller and more runny everytime weve gone there over the past year. Our server, unfortunately I dont recall her name, did a GREAT job for us. Food is good, but like most established restaurants in the area, they are struggling with staffing during these changing times, and it shows with the extended food wait times. Patience and maybe ordering a beverage from the bar before ordering food helps. I worked late into the evening and went out to get something to eat that didnt involve plastic utensils. It was about an hour from closing, and I knew I was getting the left-overs from the dinner rush. I wasnt surprised when the chips and tortillas tasted like they had been hanging around longer than expected. The entrée was good, and the 3 remaining waiters did their best to make the dining experience pleasant. Parking: About 5 handicap parking spaces in the front of the restaurant and all around the building.

Truly superb in every category Service was excellent and precise All requests for all 4 guests were met accurately....food was delicious and piping hot.....chips and salsa stayed full the whole time.... If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would Thanks Arlington Parks Mall OTB, another incredible experience

The food is not good at all. They do not accommodate to their customers. I could substitute anything on the menu. They also held a gratuity authorization of $15 and denied it was the company but the bank verified they took gratuity after we left a tip. The manager was not helpful and the general manager did not care come out to even talk. So we are filing a complaint and we will never eat there again.

We were seated quickly. Sat down was brought chips and salsa and ordered drinks and appetizer and he walked away. He came back around still no drinks but we had been waiting so long I asked if we could order so we ordered our food(still no drink and chips and salsa gone from hungry kids. Kept seeing him walking around but still no drinks.... He finally comes with the appetizer the food and water (not the drinks we ordered) all at the same time. 3 orders were wrong I gave him my plate back told him he could cancel my drink i ordered and let him know that the multiple issues were a problem he said he was triple sat and he didnt even ask if I wanted something else or a manager with all the issues he finally brought my husbands beer as we were done. I paid my $100 bill for absolutely horrible food and service and tipped him 18% I honestly wish I would have spoke to a manager because we didnt even eat half the food that was ordered and our waiter just acted just opps I was busy too bad! Not a place I recommend for anyone to go to. We drove 22 hours from Florida and I wasnt in the mood to argue with anyone but I wish I would have because I wasted $100 and only my kids ate we didnt even eat the appetizer. Never again.

Meagan and Elise are the best bartenders they are amazing! They always greet me when I walk in and always knows what I want! A grande margarita on the rocks w/melt down 1800. Its sad that I know almost every employee but that means they are doing something right to make me a weekly regular! Love yall! Keep up the great work Meagan and Elise yall are freaking amazing!!! Parking: Make sure you park as close to the entrance as possible. Cars get broken in to ALL THE TIME. Including mine but I still come back considering how great the staff is!!!

One of the most disappointing meals I ve had in a long time. Ordered a regular sangria swirl and was brought the large instead. Sickly sweet and next to no alcohol in it (I would ve known if there was considering I drank more than I planned and ate next to nothing). Brisket tacos came covered in super sweet bbq sauce and no veggie set up. When the waiter asked how it was he just shrugged and left. Took 2 bites of the taco and the rest went in the garbage where it belonged. Bathroom was gross with sticky floors. I haven t been to this chain in several years and I don t think I ll be returning anytime soon.
