Outstanding Indian food. I cant believe I just found out about them. The goat was superb which was my favorite. All the food was fresh and seasoned just right. The staff and the owner were super friendly. I learned how to eat a few items which I did not know how to eat but the staff educated me. Definitely my Indian spot now.

This restaurant is our go-to place for Indian food in the metroplex. If you have the opportunity to sit down and order a meal, or order take out, it s really good. The naan is fresh and all of the curries we ve tried have had incredible flavors. The portions are also very generous. However, the buffet is disappointing, and sometimes it s their only service option. I will turn around and walk out if they re only doing the buffet. Maybe serving curry buffet-style would work in a more polite society, but with the world as it is now, whoever gets there first will pick out all the meat/potatoes and leave the other patrons with nothing but sauce and goat bones lol. It was a waste of money when we tried the buffet nobody went back for second portions of scraps.

We love this place and have been going for years. And now the lunch buffet is BACK! Great food and owners. The only slight dislikes are the serving bot that very slowly brings ordered food out (not always accompanied quickly by a server that then puts the food on your table) and that the AC doesn t seem to work well enough to keep the humidity down. Vegetarian options: The tadka daal is the best we have had! Also great saag. They have lots of vegan options as well.

Update- have been coming here for over 4 years now and still my fav Indian spot in the dfw area. I absolutely adore the owner as well. She s so amazing and super accommodating. I am plant based and I highly recommend. Super delicious, authentic Indian food. Came during the pandemic and they were super accommodating and friendly. There are LOTS of vegan options as well. Almost everything on vegetarian menu can be modified to be vegan- just ask! :) will for sure return Dietary restrictions: Not sure about gluten free / soy fee options specifically, but if you re looking for some vegan Indian options they definitely got it here. They are super accommodating and vegan friendly.

The owner was wonderful. Reminded me of when I visit family and they just keep putting food in front of me. Very helpful and walking around checking on everyone. The food was amazing. Nothing looked or tasted like it was sitting out in a buffet. The butter chicken was by far my favorite and the deserts were really good. The rose milk was something Ive never tried but will be having every time I come.

Have been going here for a while always get the $20 lunch special. Today was no different when I sat down. I wasn t giving a menu had to ask for one. I just kept having the buffet pushed on me and I asked for my regular. I believe it was the owner said yes I can get it, but it would take a while if I didn t want the buffet. When they finally came back to take my order, she told me I couldn t order it. And proceeded to draw a pretend X OVER IT. I just asked to pay for my drinks she said you can order off menu and I declined. I had to ask for my ticket several times and she even came to my dad and ASKED WHERE MY DAD FROM LIKE HIS RACE I ve never had any issues here and I always have the same server wish he would been there

We had the buffet during lunch time. It had a variety of dishes and it was very good and flavorful. Keep in mind, this is good for those NOT looking for spicy; Its more mild/medium. There was a super cute robot that helped bring food out. Hopefully, she keeps her job, . The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing! I look forward to dining here again!

I have been looking forward to visiting Indian Bistro 14. I was greeted by Arianna, who was ready to assist me with the selections on the buffet when I told her it was my first time here. The buffet had two soups, tomato and lintel, and over 15 choices for entrees, including a nice selection of vegetarian dishes. The most challenging part of the meal was taking small portions of each dish. I tried each soup. Both were good with subtle flavors, the lintel soup was my favorite. I normally place rice, in this case Basmati and Pilau, in the center of my plate and place dishes on each side. My friend, Karan, explained to me that put a little bit of chicken Tika masala and meatball korma with rice on your fork when eating them. This allows a sweet and salty flavors to compliment each other. Highly recommend you try this! All of the dishes were excellent, and represented the foods and flavors of northern India very well. An Indian meal is not complete without an assortment of dessert. The mango custard is always a good choice. The jewel though is the Gulab Jamun and Kheer! The Gulab Jamun is a fried pastry made with cake flour and soaked in a sugary syrup. Super sweet! Kheer is a traditional Indian rice pudding with a light flavor and texture. You take the Gulab Jamun and cut it into small pieces then eat it with the Kheer. The sweet and mild flavors enhance each other for a balanced bite of deliciousness. If you are looking for authentic flavors, great service and a relaxing atmosphere I recommend Indian Bistro 14.

This is my and my boyfriend go-to Indian restaurant. Food and service are always excellent. We are vegan and there are 20+ vegan options for us, including our favorite vegetable samosas. We highly recommend the navratan korma and Chana masala Punjabi. We tell everyone we know to come here. Our only critique is it can be a little dark inside. Vegetarian options: There is a large vegetarian section with option to make vegan. Dietary restrictions: Menu clearly labels gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and nut- free options, with plenty of options for all of the above. My visit would be 2 stars. However, the owner made sure I was taken care of. The guy serving me was new. He was calm, but all over the place when I arrived. He got on track when the owner stepped in to help. I wasnt a huge fan of their alcoholic beverages. The long Iceland iced tea tasted mostly like Coca-Cola. The owner stated no, but it wasnt a splash of coke. Because of the taste, I added the red wine cabernet to my long Iceland iced tea. I noticed they offer some type of complementary crisp bread to some customers. Sadly, I was not offered this as I waited. I ordered the veg assorted appetizer that came with two sauces. It includes veg samosa, pakora, and paneer pakora. I decided to select the create your own lunch meal for $20. For an additional charge of $1 each, I ordered the mild chicken tikka masala and beef meatball kofta. I felt there needed to be more meat, especially if there s an additional charge. I was charged $23. Maybe the extra $1 was for the garlic naan. The new employee stated I could get plain or garlic and didnt state it would be an extra charge. For the sides, I selected balsamic rice and garlic naan. For dessert Gulab jamun. I enjoyed the chicken tikka masala. The staff were friendly, but just a little unorganized. I enjoyed the relaxing dark ambiance, the different color candle lights on each table, and the robot named Devi. Note: The menu states prices can change without notice. This happens everywhere, but the menu needs to be updated and customers need to know before ordering.

The manager Neeta was super accommodating and went above and beyond on service! Will bring my family back for the service and atmosphere alone! Love her and her positive loving spirit! Be careful of leaving any tips as it ALL goes to the owner, who treats her employees in a mean manner. I gave a cash tip to the employee, he immediately gave it to the owner. Someone should investigate the tips being grabbed by the owner, which is ILLEGAL.

I wish they would have listed that their tiki masala has nuts. I only found it out after having a real allergic reaction. Luckily, I only ate a little bit so it s not as bad as it could ve been however, I didn t know that tiki masala is normally made with nuts until I looked it up. So if you have a nut allergy, be wary. However, the little bit of the food I was able to get tasted good unfortunately I just can t eat it.

Ordered takeout and was not satisfied with my meal. I don t know if because it was close to closing time the chefs rushed on my order but it was just not really that tasty. I still finished it because it was edible, hence the two stars, but couldn t help to think I literally could have made a more satisfying dinner for myself. Me and my wife were excited to try some authentic Indian cuisine, however we were severely disappointed. The chicken bryani that we ordered had no seasoning and the chicken was blan. The goat curry gravy was one level above water. The appetizers were dry and the sauce did not help. If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine this is not the place. Its clear that the authenticity of real Indian spices was sacrificed in an attempt to satisfy the American taste bud.
