The food was 10/10! I ve never had the Chicago mild sauce before & now I ve had it I don t think I ll eat chicken any other way. It was so good. I ordered the 4 pc chicken wing & 2 pc Catfish. The fish was seasoned to perfection, crispy & there s was no fishy flavor. I wouldn t change a thing about my meal. Customer service was immaculate. The man( I didn t catch his name) was so patient with me being that it was my first time there. This was the 2 location on Bowen I went to & I will be back soon!

My husband drove us over from North Richland Hills. That was about 25 minutes there and back. We will be going back. The chicken was seasoned perfectly. Ot wasnt too salty, and it was juicy and flavorful. It was well worth the wait. No more Big Box Chicken places for us. Thank you, guys, for your hard work! Until next time.

I got the burnt ends and fries. I will have to give it a 7 out of 10. I dont like the fact that they cover the fries in barbecue sauce. I prefer my fries dry not wet. And you didnt get that many pieces, however, it was good.

Drove here because the bowen location was out of cake for the day and thats all i wanted this visit. Last time I got the strawberry cake and its delish. This time i tried the red velvet cake. Its good but i prefer a more cream cheese taste in the frosting for a red velvet cake and this was closer to buttercream which I do not like. Its just way too sweet for me. The cake was so moist it was almost wet lol. This is a win for me. Nothing worse than dry cake. I ended up scraping off most of the frosting and putting the cake with some blue bell vanilla ice cream which i usually dont do but i had some at home so i tried it. It was so good.

I recently just got some food from there today and it was not to my liking s like the usual, the rib tips didn t have any barbecue sauce on them, the French fries were undercooked and the mild sauce tasted bitter and sour and they had the nerve to pour it all over each item that I had on the plate and ruined everything smh.

First impressions are lasting impressions and I won t patronize this business again. I called to get their exact location because I had spent well over a hour and a half driving to places they were not located due to GPS identifying their address at every address except the one listed on Google. Due to the reviews I was excited to try and it was my first time here so GPS is what I rely on. When I called the number after driving 20 more minutes to yet another false address, I spoke with a woman that turned out to be the owners wife. Very argumentative and rude lady. I tried to inform her that due to the error on GPS that it could impact their business because people would either get frustrated and not come or may think they are no longer in business if they didn t call like I did. Instead of thanking me, she wanted to spend time arguing about who has no problem finding it. Keep in mind images online does not reflect this actual location. Very unprofessional and unnecessary dialogue when she could have easily apologized for the error, thanked me for the information and redirected me to the correct address. Poor management and lack of customer service skills. Notice in the image I provided that the address listed on Google does not show up in this gps as Hershey s Palace but their restaurant is listed twice with incorrect addresses that are not reflected on Google. Simple error that she could acknowledge and correct as it is their company, but she would rather argue. All of that driving and the food wasn t even great.

The food was disgusting. Sorry, not sorry. To be straightforward and honest like I always am, this is the furthest thing from what is advertised or even rated as. The food was soggy, flavorless and processed. Cheaply made and poor quality. Nothing was home cooked or homemade. It seemed like everything came microwave ready. A complete travesty honestly because the ratings fooled me. The fish nuggets were so soggy, flavorless, and similar to mystery meat. The breading/batter used was ridiculous and resembled a puffer vest. The fries were stiff, undercooked and flavorless. Decided to opt for cheese fries, and the cheese had the worst texture and taste. Obviously processed and the equivalent to Barbie food. The black napkins leaves dye all over your hands and face. I don t know whose idea it was to choose dark and dyed napkins. The containers they used do not have ventilation so the steam is a makeshift broiler and your food is left soggy like it did P90x at the local gym. The Philly is disrespectful. It is so loose and poorly made that even the bread wanted to escape. It crumbled from even looking at it. The pizza puff is nothing more than a sauce burrito. Nothing pizza or puff about it. No authentic restaurant advertising classic Chicago cuisine or staple cities has ever lived up to the standards they think they have. The only way people are rating this as good is because they haven t been to Chicago. Also poor management/ownership. Do not recommend.

Second time going to this place the first time was good ordered large tip basket tips were tender and good. This trip ordered the same thing the lady at the counter added a tip for herself and thought I wasnt going to catch it, then my order came out look at it to check if correct and a large tip looked like a small tip with lots of fries my cuzzin ordered the same but small tip, complained to the cashier how said the owner refused to fix the problem and we could just get our money back...after waiting a whole hour for our food! Over all dissatisfaction and disappointment. Customer service lacks service. Do not claim Chicago style when lacking authentic Chicago style food. Use real cheese not from a can. The worst 80 bucks I spent. The photo below shows you what they charged me two bucks for coleslaw. It s next to some mild sauce they forgot to put ON MY WINGS. Pizza was so disgusting.Italian beef was 6/10 because they used cheese from a can? Why Hershey? You can save this place. Be authentic and don t cut corners. I won t be back.

I had an order of chicken tenders and fries was very impressed with the flavor and tenderness of the tenders. They were some of the best Ive had, and the seasoning on the fries was also delicious. Chicken and fries were fresh and well seasoned. My order was correct. The cheese steak was fresh, too, but not seasoned. It was bland. Was hoping the meat would have more flavor. It was a good sized sandwich, though, and it was filling. Parking close to the entrance was easy. Woman next to me had a big pitbull hanging out her car window. I moved to the next closest parking area, an awkward spot where it was kind of difficult to avoid hitting a light pole. Graffiti on the walls and the Chicago memorabilia were a cool touch to the interior design. Nobody greeted me when I entered, but the worker who served me was very quick with my food and attentive. Wanted red velvet cake listed on the online menu, but store only had lemon cake available. Overall, a good experience. I will return to try pizza one day.

This was at the Bowen location. The breading on the chicken tenders was flavorless and not cohesive to the chicken. The chicken itself was dry and rubbery. The only enjoyable way to eat it was with the sauce provided, not to mention the sauce was an extra charge!! The fries were soggy and unseasoned, served with a measly piece of white bread. I paid 23 dollars for two tender meals, 7 tenders in total. 1/10 would not recommend.

The food was decent but the grease may have scorched the chicken some (or maybe the oil is getting old). The chicken was perfect size and not fatty! When I questioned why my order went from 7.99 to about 10.75, the lady at the register told me they charge for mild sauce. I said wow, thats crazy considering they know (well, Hershey knows) they dont charge for mild sauce at Harolds. This place has a good variety of food. I like their thick crinkle cut French fries. The gyro was decent except mine just needed a little more sauce on it. The fried chicken wings were seasoned and fried to perfection. The personal size pizza was cheesy and good except mine could have been cooked a little more crispy. We went during lunch rush hour but the service was still amazing. It was our first time so we didn t know what we wanted and we didn t feel rushed. Now, the wait was absolutely worth it! All food was made to order and came out piping hot and the wings my oh my they were and are delicious(couldn t eat them all) and they re-heated perfectly in an air fryer. The atmosphere was great too. I also got pizza as I seen from a previous review and it was way better than major franchises, lots of meat!!! Now the koolaid drink, everyone should try it; it isn t overly sweet like most tea served in this state. It was a nice blend, had to get me a cup to go. I ve found my new spot. It s a must try and you will not regret it!

Looking for black owned restaurants and found this spot. Been working in this area for years and had no idea it was so close. Its a small place not really for dine-in, however, there are a few tables and seating. It was busy, but line moved quickly to place order. Orders were being taking via phone also. I ordered 4 items off the menu and it was about 35 minutes and $$...The chicken was a little salty for my taste but everything was well seasoned and cooked well (wings, shrimp, fish). Wings came with a red mild sauce and the shrimp/fish came with a scoop of cole slaw, tarder sauce, and some green relish sauce. I was expecting the pizza to have a little crispy since it was thin crust, never the less it was good. Overall, it was good. I would call ahead next time to avoid the wait.

Have been going here ever since they have been in Arlington. For the fourth time, I ordered fish with mild sauce on the side and for the fourth time, even after calling to ensure it would be in the order and saying its okay to charge for it, it still was not in the order. When I called back to let them know, the young lady on the phone continued to try and argue with me, the customer, would not listen to a complete sentence and then put a male on the phone who said he read it wrong. Hubby is from Chicago and I am from Memphis and we have both been missing home food! Food was delicious. Had a problem although the sauce tasted good on the fries. I asked for extra celery salt on the side ...not sauce. I like the fries with the seasoning not drenched in ketchup etc. I think there was a language barrier on the phone. Secondly chicago style hot dog is great, However the bun was soggy on one side. Next time i will order everything on the side to avoid this. I love the taste for everything i hv ordered there. Wings, fish. Shrimp and the hot dogs. The coleslaw and tatar sauce is also very good I tried calling to let them know but got no answer

I went to this fabulous restaurant today with my dayghter and all I have got to say is this man and his wife can cook the flavors are wonderful I mean they came alive making you mouth water for more. Definitely we will be going back there. Not only was the food fabulous so was the owners God put us in the right place at the right time.. Yessss, finally a place that serves that authentic Chicago flava!! My taste buds danced today as I had the Italian beef and sausage combo . First of all I would just like to say thank you to Hershey (The owner). Being born from Chicago this place represented home wonderfully. I ll get str8 to the point .. Everything s to die for. I ordered a 4pc with Chicagos signature Mild Sauce ; I ordered an Italian beef extra cheese extra dipped, and I also tried my moms Fish. All three of these items gave me flashbacks while being serviced by Hershey and his wife it s about a 30 minute drive from my house but that will not get in my way of eating here every chance I get. So I had a chance to make it out to Hersheys Palace today, and let me say, I love this place! Owners Hershey and May are some of the nicest people you ll ever meet! Hershey greeted me with a smile and when I asked about some menu items, he was very passionate about each one. In the end, I told him to surprise me, and he did the steak sandwich (different from a Philly more sweet and Chicago inspired), and let me say, it did not disappoint! If you love Harolds Chicken in Chicago.. then this is the place for you. We go here for our Chitown cravings. We like it best to eat there when its freshly cooked, hot, and plenty of the mild sauce. They have a bar there too to go with the food. They have chicken wings, fried gizzards, catfish, pizza, italian beef, pizza puffs, and many more. This restaurant has food from Chicago. Which is my home town. The food is good but you can tell theyve cut some corners on some things like the mild sauce. Thats a stable to fast food in Chicago and it doesnt taste like it does in Chicago and thats the one complaint I have. People here dont know but its not original. You can tell they make it in house and it doesnt have the sweet taste to it at all and its a little thicker. Other then that the food is good. This is the worst customer service I have experienced, I ordered on their website 6 wings curbside pick up , when I call at arrival she demands I come in to pick up, once i refuse she brings my order to the car when I check it there are 6 party wings instead of the 6 whole wings they sale and advertise. Went here a while back and this place keeps getting more expensive each time I go. The meat on the Italian beef had a weird flavor. I paid $16 for the meal with adding cheese and peppers and a couple of sides of mild sauce. I m from the Chi and the mild sauce is always free! That meal is usually about half that price there.
