After reviewing my final, signed decree, this firm still missed more errors that I can count. If they expected me in the hardest moments of my life to be responsible for catching when it should petitioner or respondent then WHY did I pay them over $7,000!? Do not use this firm, as other people have stated the wait time, lack of responses unless its about payment and complete coldness to the process does not make this worth any amount.

Well, I am seeking an attorney with a limited scope representation and God lead me to this lawfirm. I been operating Pro Se and although the Defendant s motions for summary judgment & motion to dismiss were denied; proceeding further I wanted legal guidance to ensure my filings were procedurally correct going forward. Drafting pleadings and motions I don t mind doing at all. The only hiccup I thought they had a Dallas office downtown; but that only momentarily delayed me signing up for limited scope representation only.

She done a great job thing she said to me when I first talk to her I asked her if she was afraid of Wise County co-op she made the remark. I m not afraid of anyone. She tackled Walmart And beat them. I think she s a very good attorney and I would use her again if I have the need five stars is really not enough.

If you dont mind waiting indefinitely for your settlement, being ignored for months, and surprise fees on your bill, then this is the attorneys office for you. My experience began after a car accident in January 2022 in which an uninsured unlicensed motorist ran a yellow light and totaled my car. Several people recommended Brandy Austin..but my experience has been nothing but disappointing. Communication with this office doesnt exist. Several times my physical therapy was put on hold for weeks at a time while we waited for the attorneys approval...and it was almost always me who had to call the attorneys office multiple times just to get them to follow up with my physical therapist. I was constantly lied to about being called back...and after a week I would have to call back again. It took an entire year after my physical therapy ended for an attorney to contact me about the settlement. He made it sound like they wouldnt take this to court and the offer the insurance provided was the best option. I was told that the rest of the process wouldnt take anytime at all...a few weeks later they received the settlement check from the other party. Now 7 months later...I have yet to receive anything. Each time I contact the office Im told the attorney is out, on lunch, or will call me back. Through their document portal I can see a Final Settlement Statement that has been the same since January...and somehow after the 33.33333% Attorney Fee (which they absolutely do not deserve), Im being charged over $700 in additional fees. One such fee being the certified police report I had to furnish myself! At this point Im assuming the worst and filing a complaint with the State Bar of Texas. I just hope no one else has to experience this level of professionalism again.

She didn t want to be my lawyer cause of the lies she heard about me. I told her it wasn t true she said I m not here to argue but I can t represent you due to what Aulsbrook had said about me. For people that have liability dispute cases PLEASE dont waste your time with false advertisement and deceiving law firms. If the other side doesnt take the BLAME then 9 from 10 law firms WILL NOT accept your case because they LACK trial EXPERIENCE( ). They dont believe in JURIES and INJURY rights but only settlements from the other partys insurance claiming responsibility or liability. But the greatest harm was the witness tampering without my knowledge that forced them to resign.

Honestly over priced (3500) for services provided Needed a child support modification took over 8 months and I had to terminate relationship because this could never be accomplished. I also spoke to Brandy 1 time over the telephone in 8 months, she promised me something that she could not deliver. I highly recommend searching else where before using this law firm. Dwayne smith is a much better option. Do not use this firm steer clear. And by the way they owed me money at least 400 left in my retainer and they kept it.

They take your money and dont do anything else,. The first initial consultation was free . I had Mr. Morton as my attorney. I had one conversation with him like an hour for the initial process which by they way it was 300 per hour. I send whatever duc they need i even hired a PI. Months later I was not even informed that he had left the firm and i wasn t even informed who was taking over my case. they took my 3500 and file my ducs and didnt even went to court or even file a motion, I called them and they said we will call you later. And they also gave an excuse saying.. since Mr. Morton is not with us ,Brandy herself is looking after you case . Wooww Im still waiting for that call back to make things right. if i could give a negative star i would.i got a new attorney. So far a motion has been filed waayy cheaper as well. Lets see what they will say after writing this.. pretty sure they will respond here, but not personally

I enjoyed using Brandy Austin Law Firm for my divorce..I mean.. its not a fun situation but they got it done! Sharon was my main point of contact and she was always very nice and answered all of my questions. Everything was done over the phone and through an online portal so I didnt even have to leave home! Communication was kind of rocky in the beginning because my ex was holding things up. It would just be nice to be informed of the hold up. Communication improved tremendously more towards the end! I called regarding some property damage currently in storage and was concerned there were going to be issues with the facility manager (they said they were not going to pay for any damages). I hired Brandy Austin Law Firm in 2018 to represent me in my divorce. I never imagined I would have wasted so much time, and over $23,000 with this law firm for them to accomplish absolutely nothing in the 2 years that they had my case. The first issue was the amount of attorneys that picked up my case... I dealt with 5 different attorneys during this time. The first attorney never filed my temporary orders correctly, which cause more fees, and court cost due to this law firm never following through with the correct filing. The next few attorneys hardly did anything at all, but charged me over and over to get caught up on my case details. Oh, and guess what - each time they changed attorneys... there goes another fee for them to file to list someone new. At your expense!!! Finally after all of this Brandy herself took over my case, and ensured me that she would handle it until the end. Well guess what, she didn t. She passed it over to the next attorney who wanted to once again charge me 5k just to get caught up on my case. Honestly, save your money and don t waste your time here. They are scamming people out of their money with no follow through on their end. I finally was able to get a attorney who is consistent and is not trying to rip me off from every dollar possible.

Brandy will email you when a payment is ready. Her team is absolutely trash. I can tell the team I had is no longer with her firm. Go figure. I was involved with family and civil with this firm. They were absolutely terrible with everything. The only thing they were good at was emailing for payment. Lawyers were terrible. Didn t care. Always had to tell them the same notes over and over again. Brandy the top dog was supposed to represent me. She didn t and she probably won t for you. It s all talk. Emily and Samantha are always there responding to emails. Even if it is the next day. I always get a reply back. They have really been there for me even at 9pm at night or on a Saturday or even Sunday they have talked to me. They are very professional and make you feel at home. By far the worst experience ever! Umm They made me feel like I should ve never even went in to sue anyone. God and Karma will get those that wrong you. This was a huge waste to me and the outcome I didn t win a thing really. They took the whole check really. So I would say make sure you pick a law firm that s not all about money, but more so into what s right for you. They are all about money and what they can gain. I agreed to the settlement and it s been over a month and I haven t heard. Word! But soon as I was saying no or not agreeing to the payout or terms. I received calls daily! I would like to share how grateful I am to attorney Jennefer Lowe from Brandy Austin Law Firm. I came to DFW area from out of state to a difficult family situation. My husband and I had put off hiring an attorney to help us create our Wills, Advance Directives, Power of Attorney etc. Neither of us had experience with this other than dealing with our Parents Estate Resolution and unfortunately there were some issues with those. They demand payment but don t render the services that they are requesting payment on. They get you thru court and drop the ball with out ensuring that you have received everything that was promised in person or contract. The only thing that you can be sure that they are punctual about is their PAYMENTS! Beware we still have yet to receive birth certificate for our adoption. Keep in mind we adopted LAST YEAR! They never mailed it! Then the call asking us to pay for an expedited birth certificate! But we pay it because it interest us as parents. Well here we are almost June 2019 and we have yet to receive it. My son will be graduating this June and his transcripts will not reflect his new name- this is very heart breaking. Please be sure to do your homework on the attorney you want to assist You because not all of them have your best interests in mind.

On the plus side, they came highly recommended for personal injury cases and they have a nice office with a friendly staff. Negative side: They will charge you every time you call them and they dont give any referral fees so dont bother, but it seems that every other attorneys office does the same thing. Update as of 02/14/2019: I just increased the rating from 3 stars to 4. The more I have stayed in touch (calling around once a month just to touch base) with the legal team, the more things seem to move along. My paralegal (Briant) was informative and cautiosly optomistic with the progress of my case. This has eased concerns and helped me to look toward the horizon. It really is all about relationships and mitigating fears. Good job guys!

I will admit during the beginning stages of the probate process, things started off very slowly. It was at no fault to Heather, just I personally didn t realize the timelines that are set in place and had no idea how much at the court s mercy we were. I came in for a consultation I agreed to their terms and paid $1,000.00 cash up front. Went to court and my attorney recieve a new court. She said that she needed more time to prepare. I wake and up go to the new court date and Im waiting for my attorney. Im calling and calling no answer. She was a no show the morning of my court date. Brandy Austin sent me a new attorney the morning of who knew nothing about my case or what was supposed to happen. The new attorney didnt fight for me at all, I didnt agree with the terms so he told me either I sign or go to jail. I was then told for him to handle what my original attorney stated that she was going to do would huhbe an additional $800.00. When I called to confirm the price the secretary told me it wasnt $800.00 but 1,000.00... this was a child support case... they took my money, didnt show up for me im court and tried to double charge me. If you want to be double talked or have your case mishandled then they are the ones for you...

I went in for a child support case and I felt my lawyer screwed me over more than the other person. I started with a different lawyer, who knew my needs and the 1 reason why I was getting a lawyer. If I had been told before hand what to expect and how it worked, I never would have gotten a lawyer. It seemed like he cared more about getting out of there, than my interests. It was a waste of money, I wouldnt recommend for a child support case. Now I have to pay more money, to fix this lawyers mistakes and misrepresentation. I would say they need to better inform people of what to expect, before the day of court, instead of at the court while youre getting screwed.

I found Brandy Austins law firm while randomly listening to podcasts about Texas divorces and appreciated how thorough and forthcoming the information they gave was. Larry Mike, II worked on my divorce case that also involved the custody of a child. He was a great advisor and worked diligently to ensure that I got what I wanted from the process.
