People need to appreciate this place more it s not just some boring field like other ignorant people in the reviews say. It s the ONLY public Blackland Prarie left in dfw. All of dfw was once like this and even more beautiful than this small piece of land but we have to take what we can get because 99% of dfw is concrete or pastures now. Go to River Legacy if you want amenities leave it for the people who actually appreciate what it is. Pretty sad that this is all we have left of the massive Blackland Praries that used to be teaming with life in dfw. BRING BACK THE BLACKLANDS, KEEP TEXAS WILD!

It s good for what it is, which is a field. The actual name Blackland Prairie Park could be a bit misleading, seeing as it s not a park, just a prairie or field.
