I have done several paintings over the last few months. The staff at this location are so helpful and I walk away loving my painting each time. The owner and management are top notch and have gone above and beyond. The instructors have helped ease my own doubts and give pointers on how to bring my painting to the next level. I was here at this Arlington location on Saturday for date night! We did galactic sunflower and Patrick was the instructor. We loved it! It was fun and he was absolutely awesome. Easy to follow along with and he even labeled my colors for me because Im colorblind and helped my wife with her fairy lights! Overall it was a blast. Oh, and also the music was great! Cant wait to come back again!

Me and my boyfriend took his mom here for her birthday gift. We painted the rustic American flag and had a really good time! The instructor was really helpful and had a great personality so it was fun engaging with him. We also played guess the song / artist and did a little game during our break. This was our first time coming to this location, I m a huge fan of the book that this event was for so I definitely couldn t pass it up, usually I go to the one closer to home however I will definitely go out of my way to come back here! Our painting instructors name was Patrick! This was my wife s very first time coming to painting with a twist with me, I ve only been two other times with a friend. My wife and I are very quiet and don t really like attention so this was absolutely out of our comfort zone, however Patrick was absolutely amazing, he definitely knew exactly how to read the room and the crowed of people. We never felt uncomfortable or anxious during the whole event. I was definitely a lot slower at painting than everyone else,I was actually one of the very last people to walk out of the class almost an hour after it ended! Patrick never once made me feel rushed or like I was a burden taking up his time, he even came over to my painting and gave me tips on different techniques I could do for my little dragon. I m very thankful the location by me wasn t doing this piece and I was able to branch out because I absolutely loved this place and the staff. When I walked in the lady checking me in was very nice, there was even another class going on and they looked like they were having a wonderful time too! Such a fun atmosphere! I can t wait to come back and bring my son too!

We didnt have time to ever look up from our painting to see what she was doing because she just kept going from one thing to another without pausing so we could look up and see her painting it or even to ask questions. The instructor, Tabitha was very easy to follow, great staff overall, had some walking around making sure we were doing good and offered the girls help when they would get stuck or needed help correcting a mistake. Both times we were here it was basically empty first time it was literally me and my date (literally) and the second time we invited another couple it was just us 4 again which isn t an issue just found that odd .. the first occasion was great we had a skilled instructor that was very knowledgeable and helpful yet the second time was a very opposite experience we had an older lady instructor who didn t even finish her own painting within the allotted time and seemed like she was still in training (due to the fact we helped her finish) which was unfortunate for us because we paid for a good experience nonetheless it basically slowed down the experience and we were there way longer than expected we even had to help her get up on the podium and off the podium (which wasn t an issue) but it was weird because the instructor we initially had was in a back room occasionally checking in . Unfortunately don t think we would come back that s why I gave it 3 stars because the first experience was a 5 and the second experience was basically a 2 !!!

A Solar Eclipse with Kelly: We painted the solar eclipse with Kelly. Studio provided music, instructions, and paint materials and allowed us to bring snacks and drinks. Great class! Glad this art center exists! Relaxing and therapeutic to get my inner artist out! Even though I am a novice. I got to relive the high school days in a less anxious, non graded setting. Definitely would go back!

We went tonight and had a blast!! Patrick our teacher was so nice and patient even when my husband and I needed a little help multiple times. He made it so much fun! We will definitely be coming back a lot!

Went on a Monday night and Tabitha was more than amazing. She is welcoming and very sweet and is definitely just herself. Very helpful and patient for it being my second time going. Definitely will be back! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I had such a memorable date with my partner, thanks to Natalie and Patrick! Natalie was such an informative, engaging, and enjoyable instructor. Sometimes my partner and I needed help, so Patrick or Natalie would come and give us suggestions. They would ask us for permission before painting on our canvas. If you choose not to have them paint your canvas for help, then just say no..! We can t wait to come back!

My daughter-im-law I had a fabulous time . Were going to make this event an annual tradition . Staff was so friendly and helpful. They made you feel so welcome and relaxed. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a fun and layed activity. Thank you to the staff for making this event so enjoyable. Merry Christmas

Those parties are fun! I am not good in painting, but its fun pretending Im good at it. 2 hours with friends seeing their expertise and making fun of each other or our own painting makes the 2 hours fun.

We went to paint our pet they would not let me paint my own painting and even after I told them my dog was brown she painted her black my dog just passed and I wanted a wood canvas picture for my wall 70 dollars and I got someone else dog not a fun experience

My mom, sister and I ended up being the only the attending the Halloween night session which was awesome! We had an absolute blast! BJ was an amazing teacher! So nice, funny & personable! It was my moms first time and she fell in love. Will definitely be back!!

Omg I wish I could give this review 100 stars! We did a walk in on Halloween 10/31/2023 and our entire experience was amazing! Natalie Made us feel very comfortable from the beginning of choosing our paintings, she was very informative teaching us different techniques while painting (being that this was our very first time taking a professional painting class, we wanted to take our time&. She didt make us feel rushed) plus she took pictures of us afterwards! The price was really affordable and seriously it was a true relaxing experience. I have to add this to my self care monthly routine. THANK YOU NATALIE ! Your professionalism &. Personality is something every business should have on their team! This is perfect for a date, birthday celebration, anniversary or just to get out the house for a peace of mind. Don t think about it, you deserve this experience!

The project was little challenging but the instructor was fantastic. She was engaging and had everyone in the class interacting. Normally I would do something like this with friends or family, however this class I took alone. I was a little nervous about that but I really had nothing to fear. I will definitely be taking another class. If I go alone or with someone it wont matter as long as I go to the Arlington location; I know Ill have a great time!

Came here for my grandmother s birthday celebration with my mom and aunt and unfortunately due to our experience here today, none of us will be returning. I have painted here several times in the past but it is time to find a new painting spot. Our instructor Brenda started with pre drawn pumpkins on her canvas while the rest of the class just started with only 2 pre drawn circles. It started off confusing because we had to follow an instructor s painting that did not look like the one we had. Brenda also was painting and mixing colors without giving anyone instruction to do so we were all very lost/rushed and eventually the class began painting their very own unique pumpkins. By the end of the class, Brenda was painting without us, giving no instruction, mixing, painting all on her own. Unfortunately, not only did our paintings not match the instructor s, but my family, as well as other families were commenting that Brenda s painting looked nothing like what we all signed up to paint. It was obvious multiple steps were skipped in the instruction process and we all just had to make up the steps we thought would get us closer to the actual painting we signed up and paid to paint. After we make it through the painting, they had forgotten that 8 people paid for fairy lights. After politely asking if we could add the lights we paid for in advance, an employee named Natalie came over very upset and asked so what s the problem? You guys didn t PAY for fairy lights . Okay no problem, we had called and had the reservation rescheduled, so whoever we rescheduled with over the phone may have made a mistake. So we just asked Natalie okay no problem, can we go ahead and add them? That s when she came over with fairy lights for us and another family who hadn t gotten theirs either, and said there, is that what you wanted? I m glad you got what you want. Completely unprofessional attitude from Natalie as there is absolutely no reason to ever get upset with someone over a simple mistake and 10$ fairy lights. We had planned on coming back to learn under a different instructor but after Natalie s behavior, my family of 4 as well as the other families felt very awkward and put off by the hostile environment created during our relaxing fall pumpkin painting birthday party celebration. In the photo, the bottom painting was the instructor s final product. We were all lost to say the least. If you ve ever painted here before, the instructors painting is usually identical to the model one or the one posted online when booking. Completely different techniques used in each painting so we all had this striped pumpkin with floating polka dots.

Thank you for making our girlfriend 65th birthday a great one. This was her first time. We all enjoyed it The music was off the chain I love old school music and most of all Patrick was tremendous instructor,He made us feel like we could paint the whole world. We have never heard of Painting with a Twist but they were nice enough to donate a free session to Arlington ISD archery banquet which my son won. He let us, his parents, use it and we had a great time. We are looking forward to doing it again in the future.

We all had the best time yesterday! It was me, my daughter, my two teen girl granddaughters and my 9 year old grandson. The instructor was very nice and funny. I appreciated how patient he was with my grandson and helped him out a time or two. We ve been before but not to this location. We would definitely go back.
