From outside it does not look appealing or inviting at all. Once inside we were greeted and everyone was super nice. Portions are for two! I had queso birria tacos. Could only eat two they were so big. Husband had fajitas. Was great! Rice and beans not so much. Chips, salsa and guacamole so good! Michelada need some help. Like some Tabasco and lime. Overall cant complain food was great and Im full taking left overs home! Almost forgot. I ordered a taco special they had and it was supposed to be queso crusted tortilla with carne asados sausage onion and poblano peppers. The queso was inside the tortilla and no poblano Chiles.

The atmosphere is very different from the outlook of this place outside. Inside is very good. Service was fast and food is fresh. My carne asada tasted good. Beans were spicy for my liking. I came with my two kids and one quesadilla plate was more than enough for them.

Decided to try this place after being disappointed at another. Cute little spot, feels like you re visiting family, service was good, everyone was welcoming and pleasant. The portions were awesome, literally one meal can easily feed 2-3 people. The prices were good too! I ordered the XL wet burrito, a little different from my favorite spot that we frequented back home, but a huge portion, the steak and chicken inside was delicious and tender, I forgot to add onions which is actually strange it didn t come with it, seeing that this is a fajita style burrito. My only complaint is that they used actual yellow queso on top instead of the white cheese sauce, that really changed things for me. I couldn t get with the cheddar cheese taste on my burrito. My husband ordered the four taco plate, he was able to get a nice variety. The birria taco was delicious, the chicken we would probably get grilled instead of shredded next time. Overall would definitely return!

This is hands down some of the most authentic most amazing food Ive had in a long time. Had the combo fajitas (steak, chicken, shrimp) came with huge portions, plus a margaritathat tasted like it was made correctlyand not with the over the shelf sweet and sour nastiness. Chicken melts, steak was sooo tender, shrimp grilled perfectly. Cuaso, guacamole, charro beans, multiple salsas were just *chef kiss down right PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!! Have seen the place for years, was the 1st visit. I wish wed tried it sooner. First off, service was excellent. Not only did the server check back frequently, so did the guy I assumed was probably the owner/ manager. Salsa was fresh and delicious. Portions were quite generous. Had the Pollo Poblano and Carne Asada. Was expecting more poblano, but the chicken was well seasoned and tasty. Carne was plentiful and flavorful as well. We didnt order it but the table next to us was HUGE! I bet the guy barely finished 1/3 of it. Grande Margarita was good and 1 certainly was enough that I had a buzz before finishing. The flavor was a bit overbearing by the end of it, so Ill probably try a flavored version next time. Food was good, staff welcoming and attentive. Will definitely be on my list of regulars going forward.

No wait at 6pm! The food is delicious. The only critique I have is for them to toast the tortillas. The salsa they serve with the chips when you sear is above average with a slight kick. We ordered the Papaya Sampler, it that was so gooooooud. We devoured it within minutes. This is a true Tex-Mex restaurant! My only regret is not getting a spicy cucumber margarita. We need one in Fort Worth. Tacos de alambre are very savory. The carne is grilled to perfection and the cheese, bell pepper, and sausage is the combo! We will be back!

This is my first time to this restaurant. I was greeted as soon as I came in. Its like they were happy I was there. Thats always a good sign. Customer service is number one for any business that wants to stay in business. Food was very good. Lots of good quality ingredients here. Ive got one gripe though. The iced tea was just about water. When I first got it I held it out to the light just to make sure it wasnt plain water. Tea is cheap. Theres no reason to cheap out on it. Its got a huge markup on it so please make it double strength. I would not get it again. $3.50 for a glass of water is not good. Other than that, it was a very good dinner. Work on that tea guys!

First time I ate here the food was good, 2nd time it was good too. But the 3rd time I ate here was awful. I ate 2 tacos, then I got to the chicken taco and immediately it tasted sour, I spit it into my napkins. The first time I ate here was when I ordered their tres leche cake. I like their cake because it doesn t have all the extra fruit on it. Ever since then, I would only come here when I had a taste for some tres leche cake. Never tried their food before till now! OMG!!! I ve been missing out on some good Mexican food! GREAT spot with outstanding food, fast friendly service, and great prices. We were hesitant when we say the location, as we are traveling from another state and the strip mall looked a bit rustic, but we are SO GLAD we stepped inside! We had the Enchiladas Poblanas, street tacos, and queso. All of the food was served piping hot and was robust and flavorful. The salsa was fresh and spicy - we absolutely loved it. Great customer service as we walked in! Not only delicious food, but flavorful and full of good spices. I dont like charro beans, but I tried these because people said they are good and they are PHENOMENAL. I dont know what they do differently to this recipe, but so good. I got chicken fajitas and they were excellent. The only complaint I have is that I dont like store bought tortillas, with such great Mexican food you could totally elevate the experience with homemade tortillas. My husband had the chimichanga beef and he said it is one of the best he has had. Both our meals came with guacamole which was super fresh. Great restaurant if you want quick and good food!

This is the best Mexican cuisine Ive had in Arlington, and Ive been living here my whole life. The food is out of this world. I got the chile relleno and it came with three jumbo shrimp, big scoops of guacamole and sour cream, Pico, steak, a chicken enchilada, charro beans, rice, and cheese. Everything tasted so good. Their salsa is also delicious - its hot with just the right amount of cilantro and onion. Their chefs have serious talent. I also got a spicy cucumber margarita and I was very impressed. The atmosphere is fun, and the staff are amazing. As a supporter of local businesses, this restaurant deserves every bit of praise. Theyre doing everything right, from the food and drinks, to the atmosphere, to the service. One thing I love about the city of Arlington is restaurants like this because they are gems.

The customer service was great and they were very patient and accommodating that it was our first time. The birria tacos were good! My husband tried the big wet burrito and it was really a big a** burrito. It really wasnt called that but thats what it should be. We ordered take out and the burrito came in a foil pan that looked like it should feed a family of 4. He tore that burrito up to say the least and the ticket was feasible as well. Lacked seasonings and flavor. We all ordered steak fajitas, and the steak was tough and dry. Sunday July 30th, was definitely not a good experience. But all days leading up until July 30th were great!

Food and service were awesome. We had crispy tacos, street tacos, beef fajitas, chips and queso and everything was delicious. Only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because with triple digit weather in TX Id prefer to eat in cool air-conditioning but other than that would recommend and would go back to eat here.

Came alone on a Friday evening at a peak dining hour. This small, slightly crowded restaurant was very busy, but even so I was seated immediately. My drink and the standard chips and salsa were delivered quickly. Note: the salsa was most definitely house-made, and to my taste, delicious. I did have to wait for my order to be taken, and a larger party that came in after me was served first, but that sometimes happens, not a big deal. Overall, the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. I ordered the street tacos, carnitas, because that is my go-to test of real Mexican food. The pork was delicious, obviously slow roasted, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The toppings were simple, as they should be. All in all, the only drawbacks to this place would be the closeness of the seating and the noise level. I would give the food 7stars if it were permitted. Parking: Small parking lot, access cramped. Barely adequate for he business this place should do.

The other day I visited the place, I ordered a Draff Beer, and what they gave me was two bottles and they put it in the glass of a draft beer, I realized because it had the wrapper from the model bottle inside the glass. They could tell me that they didnt have to sweep and they would avoid such a negative review. I didnt say anything because why? I feel like they stole my money. But not returning to the place will be better than saying something right away.

My 1st time here which is nuts when youve lived locally for 20+ years and you realize why? Have you not known to stop here before, but hey it happens. But it happens and now I have a new fav Mex restaurant to stop to now. I ordered the beef tacos and my Babe ordered the cheese enchiladas they were grrreat. The salsa was perfect, it had that kick you expect in salsa! Thank you for kicking me in all the right spots, my mouth was thankful. The waitress and staff super cool, they came to check on us with the best attitude and attention ever. The margaritas were great and I only requested a wheelchair to get me out the door, be advised overeating will occur because its addicting, lol. My new fav spot to stop... so if your thinking twice about coming here just go you wont be disappointed! Thank ya Papaya highly recommend!!

Had seen good reviews of this place and my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try on Memorial Day. Man, should have come here a lot sooner. The salsa is freshly made and absolutely delicious. The margaritas are large and very reasonably priced. But the food? Damn, it was delicious. We shared an order of cheese enchiladas and tacos and both were amazing! The beans and rice were also very tasty and full of flavor. We couldnt help but get an extra margarita and some churros to-go. The staff here are all super friendly and very attentive. All in all, a wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis. I highly recommend this place if you love great Mexican food with excellent service.

I love this hidden gem! The food was delicious, inexpensive (comparatively, in this area), and the service was awesome. We were greeted immediately upon arrival, attentive but not overbearing, efficient, and friendly. The margaritas were awesome, too!
