We drove over an hour to go here based on Google reviews and online menu showing fried ice cream! Easy to find! First off, the salsa is very unique and fresh! Good chips too! We ordered fajitas for two (combo beef and chicken) and they were the best! The food was plentiful and we needed a to go box! Had to save room for the fried ice cream and that was out of this world awesome! Best ever!! Our waiters name was Mat and he was very attentive and friendly. This place deserves more than 5 stars but thats the max allowed. We also enjoyed eating outside on the covered patio since the weather was more comfortable! Wheelchair accessibility: Im disabled and use a walker and had no trouble with the entry or moving around inside due to ramps every where

She was excellent and went above it all from making sure that we were comfortable to making sure our drinks and food was what we expected. I ve been going to El Arroyo for a very for long time. The patio atmosphere is great.The bartenders are friendly and they truly care about their customers. The management team at el Arroyos is not approachable and not friendly. It s very disappointing when you have been going there for a long time and they do not take the time to thank you for your business. Great place to hang out or have dinner, just need managers who truly care.

Everything was delicious , 10/10 , except the ranchero sauce but besides that we tried fajitas , all sauces for enchilada , rice & beans & we would come back again . I cannot begin to describe my waitress.. Ms. Elizabeth T. ~ her and her alone made my whole visit worth while , plus a return visit is in order. Saturday night, we went with a party of 10 we were sat within five minutes. And our table was set with chips and salsa already. Our server was amazing. We got our food extremely quick. Had a pleasant experience. First time here with my partner, we decided to sit on the patio to watch some of the Olympics coverage and were grateful for the misting fans... we shared the combo fajitas for 2, delicious and filling, and started off with margaritas... Mine had a bit of a kick as I didnt use the straw to start from the bottom... Really well made.. pricing was good for the quality of the food and drinks and the service was excellent.. Will most likely go back again soon

2024 I really used to love this place but they have really lost the spark for me. Last few times walking in smells like old mop, or broken bathroom line. Service seems rushed on most days..drinks used to be pretty amazing, but now there all salty. Food really declined. Beef tastes like it was washed in bleach. The chips and salsa are still phenomenal when fresh. Ihope they go back the Great everything. 2022 :Great staff. Great Wed night margaritas. Food is average , Tex mex, restaurants a lil dated has that red lobster old smell at times, but overall nice place, staff if super great.

Thank you to the greeter at the front door for assistance. Eye had to ask my waitress her name because she did not introduce herself. (Cassandra) But getting passed that. The food was great. Eye the chimichanga w/ chicken, my mom got the tacos platter, and my dad got the trio enchiladas. The salsa is amazing as well. There is no salt and pepper shakers at the table for a reason. And one more add on about the young lady serving people limes with her bare hands and not in bowl. My family and I went here this past Friday night (6/28/2024). We had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. First, we were seated at our table on the patio, which we waited for someone to greet us after about 20 minutes after I had to ask the hostess who server is. Secondly, our frozen drinks were not frozen as they came out already separated from the liquid and frozen ice. So this is were it took a turn, my 6 year old niece started choking on a tortilla chip, which my sister and I attempted to get the chip out of her throat, NOT 1 PERSON FROM THE STAFF, I MEAN NO SERVER, NO MANAGER, NOBODY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT CAME TO CHECK AND SEE IF WE NEEDED ASSISTANCE OR TO CALL FOR AN AMBULANCE. THE ONLY PERSON WAS A SWEET WOMAN WHO WAS A CUSTOMER HERSELF CAME TO HELP US WITH MY NIECE. If that woman sees this, we THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!!! We get the chip out and my niece is feeling much better. They brought our food out cold as ice and at this point I wanted to speak with a manager. We explained everything that happened and that we would not be eating this food and how horrible their customer service is. He showed absolutely no sympathy and didn t even have the decency to ask if our niece was okay after that traumatic incident. He originally only wanted to take off the frozen drinks and we stated no we haven t even touched our food and don t want anything from this place. The only thing that was eaten was my niece s kids meal which we paid for that and the queso cheese. I M EXTREMELY PISSED AND DISAPPOINTED AT THIS RESTAURANT, THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS. I loved coming here for Mother s Day. I only had chips and salsa because I came for drinks, not food. The drinks were great though, and they make a great margarita. We had patio seats and were well protected from the rain outside despite being on the patio. My 4 year old wouldn t sit still and continuously ran back and forth but everyone was super friendly and patient with him, so it s kid friendly. The server we had was EXCELLENT! I could tell he was very young, but he was super friendly and knowledgeable. :) Kid-friendliness: My 4 year old son is very neurodivergent and would NOT sit still. He ran back and forth continuously on the patio. He was definitely in the way a lot. In spite of this, everyone was so patient and friendly with him and with me, and I have a lot of appreciation for it!

The atmosphere here is awesome, I love being on the giant patio with the fans and TV. But unfortunately it seems like requests go in one ear and out the other when ordering. Order a beer dressed with salt and lime 9/10 it won t have either. If you order a meal with double rice w/o beans you can expect it to be wrong. If you decide to send it back and ask for it to be fixed 10/10 they ll scrape off the wrong part and throw it back on the same plate. This isn t the first or second time this exact thing has happened it happens majority of the time we come here. I really enjoy Arroyo but I don t think I ll be back.

Went in Yesterday To have Dinner with my Wife and Kids and I noticed something of a sticky consistensy on my chips after eating one. and Right i ate it , it left a foul taste in my mouth as well as smell. Ive worked in the Kitchen before and know how degreaser looks and smells.it smelled like Degreaser and had the consistensy of Degreaser. I told the Manager of the issue , showed him the chip with the degreaser and he said it was Old oil if i wanted new chips. I then insisted to have him to check what got on the chips and he went and didnt let me know anything. so i had to go get back up and go ask him what it was i ate. Because i was worried my children possibly ate some too. He then said it was lime juice they used to clean the Grill and i said Lime juice are you serious? at this point i wasnt sure if he was being sarcastic or just being Dumb. So i told him to go make sure it wasnt degreaser because it wasnt no lime juice or old oil. when they brought out a new thing of chips i saw there was oil on there and that was not what i had aten. so i let him know and he finally got the kitchen supervisor to come talk with me. The kitchen supervisor said they dont use degreaser and That he wasnt aware of what was on my chips because that so called manager in charge never went to him or showed him snd the watress had thrown the chips away. No solution to my problem at all. all they did was offer me an apology and thats all. my wife insisted the kids eat since they hadnt and since we had ordered our food before the issue had happened they ate theyre food and i was still charged for my food full price. i didnt eat the rest of the night worried bc of what i may have consumed. ive always gone to el Arroyo to eat Tex Mex but ill make sure this is my Last time coming to Any El Arroyo. ill rather go to Chuys. The proffesionalism to handle such a delicate Food handlers Problem was taken ever so lightly and irresponsibly. Ill advise anyone to be careful when eating At el Arroyo so you dont have to run into this type of issues ever. Or plain and Simple Avoid eating here.

We were in Arlington and wanted to try this place for a while. We were seated immediately and got our drinks pretty quickly. Sofia was very attentive and friendly. The staff wore different t shirts with humorous printing on the back. My partner just had guacamole and chips. I ordered the chicken street tacos with rice and beans. Everything was very delicious. I even forgot to take a picture of my plate before I started eating The margarita was really tasty. The food and drinks were pricey compared to other Mexican places but the atmosphere was really cool. I have never heard so many 70 s classic rock songs played in a Mexican restaurant but I enjoyed it, as did others. I would definitely come back to try different dishes and would recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food.

Very friendly staff. They have happy hour from 3p-6p and they have $2.99 margs on Wednesdays otherwise during happy hour its $6. Normally I love El Arroyo, but this past Wednesday was terrible!! We were seated, but ended up going to the bar to get our drinks. That was a mistake because it made it look like we had been served. No one had brought us chips, menus, silverware, nothing. We finally flagged someone down to let them know, we finished our drinks and still no one had come to our table. We finally got menus, ordered...when our food got there, it was cold, not piping hot like usual. In all the times Ive been there Wednesday was the worst. Our bill was $130!! Shouldve been comped!!

Definitely wanted to give a glowing review and for the service our party recieved on a super busy national margarita day into the night yes we were there from afternoon til the night as was our amaing waitress Elizabeth who went above and beyond making our first time there one that we would never forget we had a great time we enjoyed ourself left there feeling great...our service was A-1 THROUGHT OUT CHAOS of the she made it seem as though our table was the only one there which clearly it was not but the attention she kept to make sure we were all filled with drinks chips salsa and food amazing job kudos to you my hat off to your beyond great service see you soon Elizabeth!!!!

I had visited this place several times and everything was fine until the 22nd, something came out in my fajitas and broke my tooth. I thought it wasnt that bad, so I just let the waitress know. That day in the afternoon I discovered that the problem with my tooth It was more serious, I contacted the manager named Viky who treated me horrible, yelling at me, she refused to call me back and until now no one has contacted me, I ended up with no teeth, no money, lost days of work and still waiting for a lost apology. Its outrageous, no. be able to find the corporation number so you can talk to someone else.

I sat there for over 20 minutes, several employees watched me as I sat there, maybe after 10 minutes I finically asked someone for a menu, they handed it to me and then nobody came to check I needed anything, I left a note where I sat because nobody cared to offer me food service or even a drink. I called another restaurant while sitting there and ordered food somewhere else, I still waited 5 minutes for my uber, which came faster sadly and nobody said thank you for coming or anything, If I was a secret shopper this place would of failed. Poor and sad service, NEVER COMING BACK. 0 stars in my opinion.

Its not the same quality of food as it has always been before.
