This is truly a diamond in the rough!! My and my best friend came to eat here for the first time today and let me tell you something - the food was DELICIOUS! The chef came out to greet us and ask us how the food was. I ordered the Butter Chicken Masala with Naan and Rice. It was DELICIOUS! It was spicy, sweet, smooth, buttery and just so flavorful! I cannot wait to come back here to eat there again! If you are passing by, give them a try. You will not be disappointed

This place used to be my favorite Lebanese restaurant in Arlington, and unfortunately, the new owners are not even Lebanese. Food was tasteless and the wrong ingredients and spices were used on authentic Middle Eastern dishes. I do not recommend.

Disgusting food. Do not try this. Rice was undercooked. Chicken was cold. Food was very obviously reheated (poorly). Sad to see new owners butcher this place. All these new 5 star reviews are very clearly fake. This is a Lebanese restaurant, ran by Indians... and notice how all the new 5 star comments are Indians? Clearly all family and friends leaving fake reviews.

I almost never leave reviews, but today I really felt the need to. This place is very close to my AirBnB, so I tried this place twice now, and today was the final straw! Two different times the food was either incorrect, or didn t taste right at all! The fattoush for instance, had sliced raw bell peppers? In my life I ve never seen that nevertheless I love vegetables but the dressing was just pomegranate syrup not even the good stuff like pomegranate molasses and it had no olive oil, no lemon, no sumac just pomegranate syrup. Strongly would not recommend! The reviews here must be counterfeit. I don t think this place even has a chef who can make Lebanese food.

I have food allergies to wheat (contact allergy) and soy, and they were great about it! They made me a custom fattoush salad without the wheat ingredient, and there was no cross contamination. Also, the mind lemonade is a slushy! It came with real fresh mind and a lemon on top, with just the right amount of sweetness. The guy who works here was really kind as well and asked how the salad was, and made sure I was doing well with the food. :)

This was a favorite spot for many years, but the new owners destroyed this place. The food was cheap and processed, the portions were small, the prices were high, the atmosphere is very fast food and the service was nonexistant but she still expected a tip. I mourn the loss of my former favorite place in town. REVIEW FROM 5 YEARS AGO: Excellent Hummus, cant find any like it anywhere. I definitely recommend the Fatoush and if you like burgers, get a Lamburger w/ cheese and be ruined for all other burgers.

The service was good. And everyone was friendly. This place has a new owner as they mentioned. However, we did complain on site about how bad the chicken shawerma was and that i had to throw up immediatly! I was offered Baklava and water but not a refund. When we complained about the bad taste they did tell us that this is their recipe. I hope they take every feedback into consideration.

Sadly they remodeled again and changed their menu and prices. I have been coming here for the last 10 years and this was the last straw. Now their prices and menu is just like every other money hungry place. $10 for meat and rice. No thanks. Now it is just a limited menu where you pay ridiculously extra for sides that used to come with the meal. Will not come again and will urge my friends the same.

Great place for Middle Eastern and Arab food near UT Arlington. And they use the real wrap Khubus, unlike a lot of other places. Try it and you will love their Menu. I have tried most of their offerings on their Menu, and I must say Im impressed. Dietary restrictions: If you are a vegetarian, you may not have too many options, but there are a handful of stuff. Try their Falafel plate, Lentil soup and Lebanese salad.

We ordered the chicken shawarma plate with the side of tomato soup. The portion was good enough so I shared it with my friend. Chicken looked hard but it was soft and juicy. Loved the pickles and banana peppers. Rice was yum too. Ambience is okay and they can do better. Overall a really good place. Must try. Edit: I tried the lamb burger and it was good. It could be better though as we got our burger late even when I could see it was ready and I went there and picked it up when no one brought to us and maybe thats why the patty and buns were cold, they should have toasted the buns to make it taste better. Overall the burger was good. I also tried the lamb shish tikkeh sandwich. I expected the meat to be soft but it was too hard and chewy, the constituents of the sandwich were good with the seasoning, tomato and pickles but the sandwich overall was not at all good because of the meat. Would not recommend.

I came back recently to visit family and attend state fair and had to come back after reading reviews that the original owner returned. Love the lamb gyro and garlic sauce! My husband tried the garlic sauce and asked one for himself lol. I hope they sell this sauce to go one day so I can take it back to austin. Lentil soup is also delicious. They inspired me to cook lentil soup at home since I was so far. Lemonade mint was very sour but good! Delicious. Thanks y all it was good to be back and welcome back!

This is an excellent Lebanese grill. Open the door and walk into the enticing smells of the grill. Inside it appears to have a fresh updated look. At rhw counter, the service was warm and friendly. You can see the skewered meats in the kitchen from the counter and a clear, well lit menu. I ordered some of my faves like kabobs, schwarma, fatoush and hummus. They threw in plenty of pickled veggies and seasoned rice and some extra pita. I will tell you it was plenty of food and we ate like kings. I cannot wait to comback and try the lamb shank or the beef/lamb kabobs.

Good place for a shawarma or gyro roll. Fresh, juicy and full of flavor. The fries are the right degree of crispness. The most amazing food and friendly, quick service! I am so glad to see this restaurant open again. The remodeled interior looks great and the new open kitchen concept is neat. No fountain drinks or tap water, just bottled water and can drinks. Hubby ordered the lemon lentil soup as appetizer - so good! - with chicken shwarma - sadly dry with no flavor. Falafel appetizer - hot and seasoned well - with chicken shish, saffron rice and hummus with sliced veggies - all absolutely Delicious!

May 2023 I found out that this restaurant changed ownership twice since my last visit and it was bought back by the original owner with a name change to the restaurant. Its completely redesigned from the original look (mainly the open concept kitchen area). We ordered the Chicken & Rice Plate, Chicken Shish Kabob Wrap, Gyro Plate, and the Chicken Shawarma Plate. We really enjoyed our meals and the staff was very friendly. May 2021 I have increased my review from 4 to 5 stars from my previous review. This time we ordered lamb grape leaves, gyro plate with lentil soup and Caeser salad, beef shawerma with baba ghanoush, and chicken nuggets. I loved all the food and the waiter was very nice. It was packed by the time we left. 2018 I came in for a quick bite on a Saturday and ordered just a gyro sandwich. It was good, but Ive had tastier gyros elsewhere. Overall, its a nice environment with a nice staff. In a prior visit, we had a really good experience and enjoyed the food.

A family owned restaurant with heart. The restaurant was closed for some time due to Covid, but it has been reopened now for about four months. The food is cooked to order, and everything looks very fresh. The guests are a mix of families, local friends meeting for coffee, and those seeking out authentic Lebanese food. Arabic and English are comfortably interwoven creating an atmosphere that transports the guests to another country. All the food we tried was delicious. I would definitely recommend visiting Beruit Rocks next time you want an excellent Shawarma.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from a remarkable restaurant in Arlington through DoorDash, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I contacted the restaurant to inquire about customizing my order, the staffs professionalism and attentiveness were truly commendable. Upon calling the restaurant, I kindly requested if they could accommodate my dietary preferences, specifically substituting the traditional pita bread with saj bread and replacing the hummus with a serving of rice. The restaurants employee, whose assistance was invaluable, eagerly listened to my requirements and assured me that they would gladly fulfill my request. I appreciate you guys!

Ordered Falafel and Greek Salad. The 8$ salad was small and mostly lettuce with Italian dressing...nothing Greek about it....no Feta and even the solitary 2 olives were canned black ones, not Kalamata. At least the lettuce was crisp...the only positive I can find. The Falafel was just as tasteless and seemed to have been overcooked and somewhat rancid. Unlike any Falafel sandwich elsewhere, this one was flattened and bread pan fried. The insides might as well been old plantains it was so tasteless. Word to the wise: go elsewhere to spend your $18 for lunch. When I mentioned some of these thing to the young guy serving me he apologised for the new cook but said this is how Lebanese food is like anyways... to which I said I dont think so.

My favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the area. Great food and service. Their sauces are my favorite and their serving portions are large. I usually have enough leftover for a second meal or a late night snack. Their pita bread is amazing.

I was so looking forward to Beirut opening again! It used to be one of my favorite restaurants. More than angry I am so disappointed with this experience I had today. Decided to give them a try since their re opening and went in with high hopes Not the most welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in no hi no welcome , just asked for here or to go my friend and I ordered the soup cups which were served luke warm, I was expecting hot fresh deliciousness. Then we ordered the Chicken shawarma and falafel sandwich. The falafel tasted like it was previously fried and wasn t fresh had a weird bitter aftertaste of stale oil. The chicken sandwich was stuffed with bland chicken and pickles to the brim. I sooo badly wanted to have a great experience but guess not. The only thing I enjoyed were the fries

New restaurant! The staff were very nice. The patty on the Lamb Burger was a little salty but we would order it again and again! The lamb gyros were plentiful. All items had good portion sizes. Definitely give them a try.

IT S OPEN AGAIN!! Beirut is back and still wonderful if not better. They have a refreshed look inside and a new brick oven to make pita in-house. While they were closed I tried several mediterranean restaurants in the area and none of them could hold a candle to the flavors and ingredients of Beirut. We got food to take home and we went all in on the food. Fish plate beyond delicious lamb kabob flavorful meat platter amazing grape leaves yes AND THE HUMMAS with the fluffy warm pita perfection. There was silence at the dinner table as we just enjoyed the good. There s something for everyone on the menu and the staff is always friendly. What else can I say but try it for yourself!

Fantastic spot! Everything we tried was on point especially the falafel; definitely try their falafel even if you have been disappointed by others dry/sad falafel in the past. Here it is freshly made in house, crispy outside and soft interior with great flavor! Will definitely be back!

Soo glad this spot is opened again! Friendly staff. Hummus and lentil soup is still delicious, shawarma was on point a little more seasoned that I remember. Rice is a bit different. Hope they bring back the sliced nuts they used to top it with! All in all Im excited to make this a regular spot again

Extremely happy to see Beirut back in business after being closed for awhile. The food is extremely good, it was fresh and the meat was very moist with flavor. I ordered the lamb shish kabob wrap, lentil soup and baba ghanouj. It was well seasoned and our server was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful with telling us about the menus items. He also highlighted their new addition; the brick oven for creating freshly, hot baked naan bread. It was also very soft and great to bite into. The renovated interior is nice and is a great atmosphere for having an intimate lunch with friends. I will most definitely be back and work my way through the menu! Glad to have you back Beirut

Been coming here for years! My husband and I regularly came here for dates when we were going to college nearby, and now we still make the trek to Arlington to come here. Food is delicious. I always order the arayes and it s fantastic. I couldn t wait to eat hence why some of the food is missing. Portions are great tho. You won t leave hungry.

Lady at the counter was rude and messed up my order. It wasnt just me, she kept messing up orders and caused a lot of co fusion for others too. I had to wait 45 minutes for my food and even then she was rude and argumentative. She doesnt know how to treat customers with courtsey and respect. They also dont put your name on your orders which further causes confusion for everyone. This lady needs to be in the kitchen and not customer facing.
