First of all, dont pay any attention to the very few negative reviews on this law firm. There are just some people out there who are impossible to satisfy no matter what you do.... Dwain and Jack Downing, and their staff, were wonderful. I hired them to handle probating my fathers estate and they walked me through the entire process step-by-step. They were very professional, prompt, thorough, and their fees were very reasonably priced. I will be keeping them on speed dial for any of my future legal needs. Thank you so much for everything!!

Mr. Jack Downing has recently helped me with the ambulance case. I was very pleased with his service and professionalism. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I was able to resolve this case in a timely manner and save some money. I would definitely use them again in the future.

My ex-husband of 15 years was trying to ruin my life and take my children. When I came to Jack Downing, I felt stuck and hopeless. He got me full custody of my children and the child support payments I needed to help provide for my kids. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.

I called to get some run of the mill legal documents drawn up. I repeated exactly what I wanted at least three times. I was told I had to make an appointment. I called for an appointment and was told that I had to wait until the exact time. I called back at the exact time and got put on hold for 8.5 minutes only to be told I must complete an information form with the legal assistant first. On all three occassions I informed the legal assistant of exacty what I needed. When the lawyer finally called me back he informed me he did not do some of the paperwork. I told him that it was the first I had heard of that information. He told me to try somewhere else. A week of my life wasted. I would not use them at all and feel bad I tried to use them.

Subjected to an agonizing ordeal by an egregiously incompetent law firm, my experience reeked of unprofessionalism. Their glaring ineptitude not only failed to resolve the case but left me shackled in a staggering $12,000 debt. Their actions reflect a profound lack of legal acumen and professionalism, rendering them unfit to handle even the most basic legal matters. A lamentable betrayal of trust, their negligence has inflicted financial and emotional distress, leaving me in the aftermath of an unmitigated legal disaster.

Mr Downing and Michael was very professional and quick with helping me resolved a long over due issues. It had been over 3 years of me fighting to get this issue resolved and they got it done in less than 30 days for almost free

Jack Downing is the most unpleasant lawyer to work with EVER. Update to my review10/30/2022, after claiming that I was never his client, which I never said I was, Mr Jack Downing has threatened me with a lawsuit for putting a negative review on Google. Not the kind of personality someone would want to have represent them.

They are very professional and straightforward with you. They helped me with 2 huge cases that wasnt even a part of the original reason I got in trouble. Those cases were dismissed and 1 reduced to misdemeanor. I am grateful for this blessed attorney office. They do not discriminate and always on time. Always reply to your emails in a very timely manner. As well as Affordable services.

I was referred to them by one of my coworkers as a flight attendant. I had a very unique divorce being a stay at home mom and then becoming a flight attendant and I trusted them to represent me. Before the first hearing I spoke with his son and gave him all the information for my case, including recordings. He made me feel like I was in good hands. He understood how dire the situation I was in. The next morning at the hearing Dwain was the one to show up to represent me. He showed up with a stain on his shirt and it was untucked. When I was pulled into a room to talk about my case he wanted me to catch him up on everything. He spoke with the other lawyer and made me believe my ex would give me more visitation if I asked, and that the 8 days I sign are just temporary. Wrong, wrong, wrong! I ve been on an uphill battle since. I needed his guidance over an issue with my ex. My ex wouldn t let me drop off my son as intended and I was close to losing my job by having to report at another base out of state the next day. He assured me everything would be okay and he d reach out to the opposing counsel. He didn t, he refused my phone calls and emails after that. I couldn t get through to him multiple times and days. His secretary continued to say I would be contacted back. Never was! I had had to hire another lawyer to help me get out of the big ditch I was in. Spent 2,500 for terrible advice and representation on this firm in August 2020! The case was under Wilkins. If you re a mother looking for custody do not go here, not organized and you will have to hire another lawyer with fees being doubled to fix what was placed.

Great, great, great, great people! Dwain and Jake went to bat for me during my custody case. I WON! They are professional and take the high road on everything! They do not rely on shady tactics to win. Only facts. If you are in a custody battle, and the other parent is an unfit parent and using your children as weapons, choose Downing & Downing!!!!! I couldnt be more happy with them. Its always a pleasure to talk to them. Either its life, or about the case, they are there.
