I didn t even bother to eat. The place looks outdated, dreary, or even dirty. All the wood pieces were faded inside and out. Concern is the I-don t-care attitude might be reflected in the food so we did not eat. Hostess was nice and professional though just need owners to step up their game.

First time visit from out of town, I ordered 6 rolls and only 2 were good! (Crunchy salmon & Marry me roll) Also my husband liked the bang bang shrimp... For the price it overall wasnt worth it, two rolls were only a bit bigger that my thumb nail. I understand the price of sushi is going up but why shrink the roll size?! The inside looked nice but I feel like youre mostly paying for the atmosphere.

The absolute worst service. I tried to give Laurie some grace because she was pregnant but the service was so bad I can t. She took 10 minutes before she greeted the table and she acknowledged the two tables that was along side of us. We asked for Dr. Pepper and it tasted horrible. We asked another waiter with the blonde hair that seemed more attentive to her customers to see if there was a better choice of drinks. She informed Laurie and Laurie started all the drinks was carbonated. So we then tried a lemonade that was also nasty. The sushi rolls came out great but Laurie didn t seem interested at all to be waiting tables. The worst service ever don t plan on going back anytime soon. Laurie didn t ask how our food or drinks was, she didn t explain if we had all of the sushi rolls we ordered, she didn t explain anything to us but could over hear her at out her tables

Wasn t busy when we went, so service was good. The soup just wasn t it for my husband and and I. We did like the shrimp tempura roll, gyoza and fried octopus. The portion sizes are small and prices are a bit high. Overall it was good. My kids come here ALL THE TIME, and love everything. I highly recommend the bang bang shrimp and crispy rice!

This place is some of the best ramen I ve had in the states. Very authentic and the flavor was there for the meals. I had the Shoyu Ramen which had a lot of rich flavor unlike a lot of the ramen restaurants I ve tried stateside. 10/10 recommend and I will be back. Our server was great and he kept us laughing as well.

I live far away from this restaurant, Its a very good restaurant, food us everything well it use to be my favorite restaurant but today i had enough, i been had food issues in the pass but i bypass it , for one 1 day i was ordering food take out the classic shoyu ramen it was a man cooking in the kitchen with no gloves , as he proceeds to the counter to hand the server clients food he was picking his noes! SHOULD OF KNEWN IT WAS A RED FLAG THEN BUT today i order the same ! its a hair particle in my soup so digusting , i called the manger he said well i check ur order and made sure everything is right he did not (i sat and watched him) so as im on the call w him he hangs up and made and excuses saying he couldnt hear me ,he sounded nervous because he was talking fast. I asked to speak to the manger (jim) over him he says he out til friday , i dont know what happened to the old restaurant it was good and food was safe to eat, now its not

Food was good. Service was not good at all. Waited 35 mins for my drink. When we asked our server, she stated she was waiting for the guy behind the bar to make it when we saw her making the drink and leaving it at the bar. She was to busy socializing with her friends at the bar and not paying attention to the service she was providing on the floor. Once her friends left, she then tried to offer better service. By then, we had already finished our food and were ready to go.

This is a great place to sit and chat with friends, maybe even a second date. The vibes are cool and the ramen is yummy. I wouldnt pick this as an all the time choice. Sometimes theres a long wait, but Ive also gone on days when I get seated right away. Its a nice place to go on a Friday or Saturday when you want to go out to eat instead of staying in.

Made it just before lunch specials ended and just in time for happy hour to begin. Talk about good timing! The ramen was flavorful. I had chicken ramen and my son had the tonkotsu ramen. Next time Ill add mushrooms, but it was good as is. My son enjoyed his ramen exactly as it was (minus eggs that he gave to me). Our family, a group of 9 total, ages 6-40, had the BEST EXPERIENCE here last night. Our group had to wait and hour for seating, it was my first time and was unfamiliar with the reservation process. The food was definitely worth the wait. Every dish was AMAZING. Our waiter was very busy but ATTENTIVE. I noticed the crowd coming in was very DIVERSE and this made me so happy and eager to try. Tried for the first time during happy hour with a +1 and it was better than expected. We tried the vegetable and chicken ramen. The broth was delicious with a nice depth of flavor. Id prefer rice noodles but I still enjoyed what was served. It was also more filling than I anticipated which is always a plus. Came here on a saturday about 9pm. It wasnt super busy and there wasnt a wait. The atmosphere is phenomenal, very intentionally designed, not a super big place but enough for maybe 50-70 people to eat inside. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. Ordered crispy rice for an appetizer, and it was delicious! Ive had crispy rice a few times and i guess its hard to get the rice to a point where its not super starchy on the outside and sticks everywhere inside the crevices of your teeth, but they did well. 9/10. Then I ordered kimchi ramen, added corn, subbed chicken. The chicken was cut into huge chunks, if it was cooked and cut a different way, this would have been better. But the flavor was good and so was the broth. 7.5/10. My date ordered spicy miso ramen, and there was nothing left in the bowl, I fear. I would love to visit this place again.

Unfortunately, this is the 2nd time that I have been treated bad and dismissed at this location. I ordered to go within the restaurant, I stood near the front to be available in case they called my name. I waited and was ignored, my food was brought out as I was standing there and the host never informed me even after I asked. Furthermore, the manager said that I needed to understand that they were focused on the people being seated. Very unfortunate, that twice I have not been treated like a paying customer and dismissed. Long story short, the management of today came up to me and threatened me told me it was a good thing that he was clocked in or he would go outside and beat me up. I love this place! Its very spacious and they have some quality and unique items on their menu. They have Ramen, all of the typical sushi, and I love the yakatori appetizer (great for some grilled protein). I heard the Samauri pork rib is amazing, and the spicy salmon roll is a must! Great for lunch or date night! Good amount of parking, and it may be a little wait during peak hours.

Stopped by here for lunch for the first time and it was good. Enjoyed the spicy salmon roll and tempura shrimp roll. The chicken ramen was fine. I recommend getting the spice on the side, so you can add it to taste. Otherwise it may be too hot for some. The staff may want to check on the restrooms a bit more since at lunch time things needed a bit of attention.

Great food and very nice staff. We were seated quickly, able to eat outdoors in the great weather and they were very quick to deliver the food and replace my bowl when I received the wrong type of ramen. My only complaint was a completely obnoxious family invading the outdoor seating to wait on a table with a half dozen screaming kids, who kept yelling and screaming and banging on things (obviously not the restaurants fault, and they did ask them to move towards the door). Ill definitely be back for the lunch specials, which I just barely missed.

The ramen was decent. Nothing to write home about. The bar service was not great. The young lady working was not efficient, timely, and the bar was a mess the entire time I was there. I refused to sit because of the 6 open seats, none of them had been cleaned or wiped down from previous customers. After waiting 10 minutes she finally came over and I literally had to ask her to clean the bar off. I don t eat in a mess at home and I won t elsewhere. She said she was going to get a rag and carried on making beers and cleaning glasses. Eventually I just asked one of the other wait staff to wipe it down. The mess from other customers stayed on each side of me my entire visit which makes me question, 1. who s training them on bar service and cleanliness. And 2. How clean the place really is. Front of the house should be well kept at all times. I m pretty sure I won t return.

I really enjoy the neo-traditional Japanese decor of this place, the walls have beautiful murals and ship lap. The basket weave light fixtures, wood and rope covered pillars, and nicer wood tables really tie it all together. They also have a Horigotatsu table that is a lot of fun to sit at with a party. The food is pretty good, I d say it belongs in the higher end of medium tier sushi and ramen. Amongst parties I have been with to this place none have had any major complaints. I like that they have some more unique options like their takoyaki, and prawns. They also have hot sake that is pretty inexpensive which I liked a lot. The sushi is good, but nothing to write home about, Their ramen is definitely what I would come here for as it is good quality ramen at a standard price range. Service was friendly, however not the swiftest. The restaurant hasn t been overly busy any time I ve come, but it took me a little while to be seen by a host upon entry, and a while to be seen by wait staff after being seated, and there has always been an item that takes significantly longer than others to come out. All things considered, Great Vibes, Good Prices, Good Quality, Decent Service, I ll probably be back Parking: This location is towards the back of the Arlington highlands, the whole area has a good amount of parking, however it can sometimes be a little tricky on exceptionally busy nights

Food was good, the server/waiter was not the nicest. It was my first time there and I had some people with me and he was not the friendliest. We would ask about a few things and he was just not as detailed. And then they kicked us out since they said that their wait time is 1hr and 30 min. So they wanted to make room for people. I ve never been kicked out from a place. It was just ridiculous

This place was so good! Our kids even ate! They have a simple ramen and broth bowl for the kids. They loved it and the Japanese fried chicken. We also love their gyoza and edamame. Their drinks are really good too. Cant go wrong with the chicken ramen!
