Came here for the first time over the weekend and it was so good! Hard to find good habachi around the metroplex, but Nagoya is worth the price. So much better than Benihana. They also have yum yum sauce, which I can never get anywhere else in DFW.

I m from Houston Tx. And I was in Arlington Tx. For work. We wanted something close and it was going to be sushi. Well let me tell you, this Hibachi/Sushi place is next level sushi! 2 of my kids (young adults) got the seafood special it was supposed to have like 3 different things, but they only got the scallops, so make sure you get what you asked for. The chef was so fun and made the visit very enjoyable. Anyway, it was my daughters birthday she had fun and love it.

I have been visiting from when they were a small place by the I20 until they built the beautiful place they have now. In all that time ( 20+ years) this family owned place has never lost the goal - to make the customer feel like part of the success. There is no other place I would recommend for a Green Crystal roll ( talk about great use of cucumber!!) or a house special ( ranging from intricate sasami to to die for sushi). The family atmosphere goes above and beyond.... This group served me from inception of my only son, up until his 10th birthday and always made us feel at home. Thank you so much for all the Hibachi Dinners to helping me introduce Texas to the Culture. I am truly in your debt! Love you all! Angel Vegetarian options: From the Hibachi grill to the Sushi bar, no one will leave hungry. Dietary restrictions: They will cater to any needs you may have! We were there to celebrate our 25th anniversary, just my husband and me, We arrived and the lady at the entrance asked us which of the two options she offered we chose to sit at, not knowing what she was referring to, we asked her to explain the difference. between the two places, the response was a horrible Annoying face and in a very bad tone she began to explain to us, and if you add to this the pronunciation of her English due to her accent, we considered turning around and leaving, but we really wanted to give the place a chance because we live very close and every time we pass by we see cars in the parking lot. Finally, the rude and rude lady took us to a table and there we explained to her what it was the first time we were going to that place and she rudely explained to us again the difference between sitting on one side or the other, which my husband was already unhappy with. With his bad attitude he told her, what had we already understood. Then the waitress took exactly 10 minutes to take our order, two waitresses for the number of people there for dinner were very few. Lastly, what we ate Special Nagoya was very good. The service is a bit expensive, but at least it tastes good. Would I go back with my daughters? well see...

Went in the pick up the order and no one was at the front. I walked over to speak with one if the waiters and was greeted by someone else that walked up to me. What an experience My chef was very funny and super entertaining. I wouldnt have rather spent my birthday any other way. I ate Salmon. My husband ate chicken. My son got the junior steak and didnt leave a crumb. My daughter and the same, and likewise, we all ate our food their and left with one to go box out of the entire entourage that helped me celebrate my special day. Ill definitely be going back very soon to try something else from the menu. Parking: This restaurant has its own private parking lot with plenty of free parking. Great food, clean atmosphere, and great customer interaction! My queen Revonna and I came here for lunch. Oddly, we arrived with no lines or other customers, so we went back outside to look at the schedule. We were there during open hours, but just no customers at the time. I didnt have my phone on me so I couldnt record or take photos while the guy was doing the tricks with the hibachi. It was impressive!

It was okay, tempura was decent and the sushi was also. The crab in the crab roll and California roll was dry. The shrimp roll tasted weird so we spat it out and decided not to eat it out of caution. Our grandson really liked the chicken teriyaki box, but didnt like the California roll due to the dry crab. We didnt get any traditional sushi (raw). The fried crab was pretty good. The miso is excellent and the fried rice was the best Ive ever had. Overall, it is a decent place.

DO NOT DINE HERE! This was my first time visiting, and my last time. I picked up my order Friday night, at closing. I went to eat my order, and noticed that it was not a full order. I was charged for dinner portions, but I did not receive a dinner portion. I ordered an eight piece dinner portion, shrimp, tempura roll, and I only received six pieces. The sushi was falling apart, and not well made. I also ordered the volcano roll, and the salmon was not fresh. It was stale and hard. I paid two dollars for a 2 oz. eel sauce, and I only received a very small 1 oz. container. Over a period of several days I attempted to contact the restaurant, only to reach the fax line. Finally, I reached a manager: I requested a partial refund. He argued back-and-forth with me, saying that he cannot help me, that I should have had common sense enough to bring the food back that same night. I live in Dallas, the restaurant was in Arlington. I was spoken to in a very demeaning, deplorable fashion. My issue was not resolved. I will NEVER return to this restaurant, again. The staff has a terrible attitude, and the manager eventually hung up in my face mid conversation. Warning: Please do not go here.

Checked this place out right when open 11am but instead of ordering lunch I got the diner portion. Food was on the salty side and just not what I was expecting after an hour drive to reach location. I only give it this rating because of the time the service took place. I went an hour before they closed. Therefore, my experience only applies in case you go around that time. You are greeted politely. You get your menus and get seated. The workers are cleaning, and there are a few guests finishing up their late dinners. You get seated and asked for your drinks. The waitress then comes back and asks for your order. Throughout this process, you do get a few uncomfortable stares from the entire staff. I ordered the tempura veggie appetizer, and the taste was bland. Id say the tempura was rushed as it was not as crunchy as it should have been. But overall, the food was acceptable! Towards the end of the meal, the waitress came back with my bill and made sure to rush me in a very polite way. I paid and asked for a little box to go and left. As I was leaving the restaurant, I understood why she was rushing me. Her ride was outside waiting for her. Overall, it was a decent visit. I dont recommend anyone going an hour before closing to really enjoy what the restaurant has to offer. If you do go, be prepared to be politely stared at and rushed until you leave. To be fair, I am planning to go again, but this time not an hour before they close.

My wife and I went to Nagoya Japanese Restaurant for lunch today and were blown away. Despite it being Saturday, the restaurant wasnt busy, and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was fantastic, attentive, and very sweet. We ordered three sushi rolls Texas Sunrise, Tuna Amazing, and Southern Night and each one was a winner. The freshness of the fish was undeniable, and the rolls were unique and delicious. We also indulged in two Nigiri White Tuna and Octopus both very good. My wife absolutely loved her Tongkatsu, praising the crispy breading and tender pork. The service throughout our lunch was outstanding. Fast, friendly, and genuine. To top it off, they surprised us with to-go drinks as we left. If youre looking for a fantastic Japanese dining experience in Arlington, Nagoya should be at the top of your list. We went to Nagoya for lunch before the Cowboys game since it was close by and were so glad we did! The sushi rolls were amazing - we tried the TX sunrise, the southern night, tuna amazing and some nigiris. We also had the tonkatsu from the lunch special menu but it wasnt as good as the rolls but was still decent. Nine of us went there for a birthday lunch for two of our friends. The employees were incredible. It was so much fun. The chef who was cooking was so much fun, such a joy to watch. It was so entertaining. He stacked onions and poured liquid into it, and set it on fire to look like a candle. And then he began to sing happy birthday. The food is so good and the restaurant provided small birthday cakes and a candle for each of the honorees. It was a perfect place to share two birthdays.

I use to love this place. I ve been going for years, even before they moved locations. Unfortunately, this past visit was not what it use to be. The Hibachi shrimp was good but the chicken, fried rice and sushi was below standard. I ve had frozen fried rice that tasted better. The chef was great along with the service. All were very attentive. The chicken was extremely salty but the fried rice was completely bland. I m not sure what happened. We usually go once every two months. This time, I wished we d have skipped it all together. Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible.

We showed up during dinner rush and got sat immediately. Ordered 4 sushi rolls, a chicken/steak dinner, and a child s steak. Everything came out quickly and tasted great. Service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience. This is our go to sushi/hibachi spot.

We went here on a Saturday night at 7, once we get there we are told there is a 30 minute wait, which no big deal so we waited. 30 minutes pass and people that came after us are seated before us so my husband goes up front and the hostess says oh we can seat you at a side table or with this big party (a family birthday) we opted for the table which no big deal but obviously we were skipped. Our food came shrimp was over cooked, steak had no flavor but the most disappointing part is the fired rice which you pay extra for, has zero flavor. The soup and salad were very good and our service was okay- there was no set waitress just whoever came by took Care of you. I would not recommend this place.

Everything was amazing, from the service to the chef to the food to the atmosphere. I got the filet mignon and scallop and they were both extremely tender and delicious. They also have a really good priced hibachi lunch special too. Highly recommend

Went for lunch, the special was a great deal and plenty of food. The clear soup that usually comes with hibachi was pretty bad; we couldnt even eat it. The salad was ok, but swimming in some kind of clear liquid dressing. Steak, veggies and fried rice were all good.
