Stopped by Texas Style Burgers and Wings today in Ascension Crossing off Brown in the Kroger shopping center. Absolutely fantastic burgers! I ordered the hickory bacon burger and my hubby ordered the mushroom burger. Thick patty which was not over seasoned, crispy bacon, grilled onions, fresh lettuce, lightly toasted buns. The prices were incredibly affordable and the portions large. Restaurant was clean, service was wonderful! I ll definitely be eating there again. I was so pleased, I forgot to take a picture of my food This place has been around for many years and I can t believe II d never been or heard of it,

Chicken wings were over cooked and very dry. Fries were good. Fish was way too soft and didnt taste like actual catfish. I probably should have went with a burger instead. Prices were expensive and did not match the quality of food. Best wishes to them, but I wont be back...

Surely one of the worst experiences ever. Even after specifically mentioning that a person strictly doesnt eat beef, they serve the person food with beef in it. Probably the worst costumer service in the entire country, they disregard the complaint and instead blame the costumer. Id rather eat food from the trash can than visiting this place again. Would have given zero stars if possible.

I absolutely love this place. Their prices are equal to or less than a chain restaurant. Their patties are homemade, if you ask for bacon they dont skimp and their chili has a good amount meat in it. I need to try other things but I keep coming back for the burger. I get it delivered from GrubHub so it is super convenient. Enjoy.

I came in and asked for a straw. Just a straw. The lady behind the desk was rude. Idk her name but her face was caked with too much makeup. She told me I needed to be a paying customer. I asked if I could purchase the straws. She stated I needed to order something off of the menu in order to be allowed a straw. She then stated or you could just leave. All I wanted was a straw so my AUTISTIC daughter could drink the juice I had for her since her cup wasn t working for her and we have an hour left on the dryers at the laundromat next door. SMH. This place has no customer service or care. I walked right out. I will NEVER be a paying customer to a place that is that rude over a 2 cent straw that I offered to pay for! I hope she sees this review too. It looks dirty in there anyway.

I ordered burger combo and wings today. The combo comes with a soda, it was flat and no taste. I took it back and got a can soda. Now the food, the french fries were hard and the last in the basket. The chicken were hard and not fresh at all. I guess it depends on whos cooking. I never had a problem with food until today. I will not be going back soon and will never order chicken wings anymore

I just ordered 8 tacos to go, 6 with chicken and cheese ONLY and 2 how they come. I received only 6 tacos total after being charged for 8 and all 6 tacos had onions on them. This was my first time here and will not be back. I recommend not wasting your time and money.

Worst experience ever. I bought wings, and tacos. They gave me one lol thing of ranch sauce. When I asked for another, because I had a 12 piece wing, they said no. But I m a customer at this restaurant, smh. I asked for water, they said the fountain machine doesn t have water. After I ate my food I asked could I just put some Ice in my on cup. Mind u it s over 100 degrees outside. They told me for 50 more cents. What in the world type of restaurant treats their customers this way. Well I ll tell you! TEXAS STYLE BURGERS & WINGS,DOES!!! It s almost laughable that an establishment can treat a paying customer this way. Just unbelievable. Also be aware that the boneless wings are NOT AS ADVERTISED! Not even close. And don t even taste like wings, or even look remotely close to the picture. Smh Tacos, and other food are ok if u are hungry. It s not nasty but not good either. After eating you would not say, Ah that was good. Absolutely not. Nothing to brag at all bout. But like I said it s not gross either. It s just something to eat when u are hungry witch means it s most definitely over priced!! Customer service needs improvement badly. And for that reason alone! I probably will not be returning. Service was great. Staff were cool and some locals told me what they ordered and what, in their opinion, was the best meal. I went with their suggestion . A Cheeseburger and fries. The burger was juicy and fresh and the fries are seasoned wonderfully. I ate a few of the fries on top and they tasted great. But the rest were over cooked and crunchy. The burger was the best!!! The employees are always nice, the lobby is always clean and food is quick. We come here a couple times a month. This time we went and everyone in the family had diarrhea and stomach cramps less than 24 hours later. You all currently have some type of food poisoning going on and need to do a deep clean. It s either y all are not washing y all s hands, cooking the chicken long enough or you re leaving the thawed chicken out too long, which is what I suspect. Please I hope you all look into this. I would call it coincidence but my husband ate there two days ago and then had symptoms less than 24 hours later. Then we all ate there the next day and developed symptoms. I do appreciate you all s hard work and dedication to your company. Please don t loose the dedication you felt towards customers and getting them such as well.

Food was expensive and underwhelming. Everything is a la carte which is a bit odd for this kind of establishment. The burgers seem to be frozen patties because they didn t seem like actual fresh ground beef and appeared gray in color. The Philly cheesesteak wasn t that appetizing either because it barely had any meat and was a little dry. The bell peppers and onions was larger than the the potion of meat. The cheese wasn t melted either and they don t have many additions for a true Philly cheesesteak experience. The chicken sandwich was just tenders on a bun. Quite burnt by the way and extremely dry. That s not a chicken sandwich. That s simply tenders on a bun. I was disappointed in finding that out, but opted to just never return here. The seasoning on the fries were not great and the cheese was very bland. The day I find some delicious cheese fries I will surely celebrate. I have yet to find that here though :(

I used to purchase their grilled chicken salad often. I had not been back in several months until recently. The woman who works the counter has mood swings. The last time I purchased, there was a misunderstanding about their closing time. Her customer service skills were not the best. I left that restaurant vying never to return! Apparently, because she is always there, maybe there is a sense of ownership! Normally, in past times, I would leave a decent tip! Remembering her not so nice attitude from the last time, I left only the change .37? They have definitely cut back on the portions, but the price is still high! Also, this is a very diverse area. I would like to see a diversity of people working in the restaurant. The woman thats there probably season is up! A suggestion is to move on to bigger and better!

Anyone who knows me or is familiar with my Google review profile knows that I am considered by most and absolute burger expert. That being said, when I drove past this place I knew that it would be something special. Not only was I right but I found out later that this was one of the small burger places that my fiance was going to surprise me with because she knows that I love small hole in the wall burger places. I can say without a doubt you will not regret going here. Whether youre there for a burger, some wings, or some of their Texas style tacos, the food and the folks there are amazing!! Where to begin? The wings were small and dry. Literally dry to the bone. Dumping a cup of sauce on dry azz wings does not make them juicy. The teriyaki tasted like soy sauce and water and was just as thin. The sweet chili was ok, but tasted like sweet and sour sauce with a shot of hot sauce in it. I ordered a hot dog and it was a dollar store bun and dog. Pathetic. Never again.

Been going here for several years so I stopped in today. Normally have the Grilled Cajun Chicken sandwich, and did so again. Very disappointed as the thickness of the chicken breasts seems far thinner than before. Then, I told the lady id have water .the only water is bottle..and sold. Lots of nearby places to eat, I m going there next.

Bomb.com finally found a place that seasoned their Philly cheesesteak. Husband burger was thick and juicy and extra seasoned. Kids had the wings were delicious.

Not bad. Catfish is a great portion but lacks flavor. Wings were small, but teriyaki is an awesome flavor. Salad isnt bad and burger was pretty tasty.

Just picked up my first order from this place because I live 5 minutes away. Catfish was gooey and mushy, fried pickles were very dark and also mushy, cheese sticks are overpriced for how generic they are, and fries were lifeless and gross. Girlfriend didnt mind the wings though, at least! Also for some reason the pickles ate through the container and was a mess. Not sure how this place is actually in business.

I was very disappointed on my last visit. I went there yesterday for lunch and ordered the Burger n wing combo. $10.99. I ordered the burger with all the veggies plus Xtra pickles. They gave me 3 pieces of pickles and no veggies. The 5 wings were tiny and very dry and the fries were ok. :( The cashier was very nice so I gave it 2 Stars instead of 1.

My family eats orders from here at least 2-3 times a month. Chicken is always crunchy, not very oily,burgers are great!!!!!! We live their catfish as well. Great restaurant friendly staff and great prices

Burgers are pre-paddied obviously frozen. They are barely seasoned, if at all. Fries are subpar. Spicy fried pickles were good. Service was reasonably quick. Top notch mix of root beer in their fountain drink machine.

Ive passed by this place for many years but never stopped to try it. I tried it today and I was thoroughly impressed! (Kind of mad at myself for not trying it sooner)! I ordered a regular cheeseburger and my only complaint was there was not enough mayonnaise but I was given extra mayo at no charge. The cheeseburger was so GOOD and FRESH, the BEST Ive had in a very long time! I will DEFINITELY be back! The guy at the register was very friendly and provided GREAT customer service which is something I am big on. In my opinion, you will not be disappointed!!!

First time eating at Texas Style burgers & wings with my family and we were very impressed! Our orders were the hickory burger with bacon and chili cheese fries and a bacon burger with chili cheese fries and they were delicious! Only negative is waiting about 20 minutes but im sure theres a lot of orders and short staffed in the kitchen.We will be back for sure and i would definitely recommend others to check them out!
