Will never return!!!! Today is Wednesday $2.99 kids meal. Was charged full price for the meal because my son wanted a cherry cream slush for his drink, mind you the cup size did not change. When I ordered they did not make me aware of an up charge. The Sonic in Grand Prairie doesn t up-charge the kids meal because the cup size doesn t change. When she handed me the extra small slush lid wasn t on it and I got a lap of cream slush. I ordered a burger they gave old chicken tenders and cold fries. Waste of $10; even when the sign says $2.99 for kids meal I will never stop at this location again. The cream shakes were watery!!!! Their entire purpose of meal not being $2.99 & all was thrown in trash. Meanwhile I left to make lunch anyway.

The corner of my daughters breakfast toaster sandwich was blue/green moldy. The rest of us lost our appetite and didnt eat anything else. The sodas were flat and the tater tots tasted like old smokey oil. We drove 20 minutes back to request a full refund before driving home 2hrs south, costing us an hour of our time. I contacted Sonic corporate before leaving this review and received an apology.

First off, none of the ordering screens are working in any of the stalls so you can t see your order on the screen. We ordered a garlic butter bacon burger, without bacon. It comes with mayo, garlic butter, and grilled onions. We got ours, no bacon (as requested), no grilled onion and a ton of mayo. Sent it back and asked for less mayo and the grilled onions it was supposed to have on it. Came out with one with raw onion. Sent it back again said it s supposed to be grilled onion. Came out with another one, STILL with raw onions. Apparently whoever is on the grill doesn t know what GRILLED onions are. The carhop was very friendly and probably frustrated with whoever is on the grill. Will not be back to this location until they can get things under control.

First I sat at the stall for over 15mins. No one said anything, I went to the drive thru and was told to pull to the window. I go to the window and no one approaches me to take my order, because they were busy talking to each other hanging over the table in the store and I received dirty looks when I arrived to the window. When someone finally approaches (the girl with the long finger nails and glasses and yellow beanie) rudely asks what I wanted. When I finally get my order, the girl acts like she can t extend her arm making me lean all the way out my car, she then slams the window when she s finished.

This particular location has been historically terrible. Carhop did all but give us the middle finger when bringing the food. Almost all of the speakers are busted and you cant hear what they are saying at all including the drive thru. Sonic is okay overall but this location is terrible.

I went to sonic after church to get my grandson breakfast, I pulled into a stall and placed an order. The credit card machine on the menu board wasnt working, as I was told by staff on the intercom. They sent a team member out to get my card to go inside and run the card. As I waited over 20 minutes, I hit the intercom to ask where my order was and that the young man never returned with my credit card. I was told hed be out with the card and my order, another 15 or so minutes went by, I sent my grandson to the door to get someone to assist me, the door was not accessible to patrons,only staff. I buzzed back to find out the reason I hadnt received the food or my credit card, I was told theyre looking for my credit card, another 15 minutes went by, the team member came out and said he lost my card, he did bring the food, and said he came out and couldnt find me, I said Ive been parked right here the whole time I dont believe you ever came out, because I havent moved. He apologized and went back in to look for the credit card. 30 minutes go by, and he comes back to say he thinks the card fell into the lock box and it cant be retrieved..only by a supervisor who he said would be coming in an hour to open it.i waited and no one arrived. I asked for the number for the supervisor, and no one answered. I then asked to speak to someone else, the young man said he was the manager and they would arrive in a few hours and I should come back, while I was home, I contacted corporate offices and they said they would file a claim on the matter. When I arrived back at the restaurant hours later, other staff came out to tell me no one was coming and it would be a week before the lock box could be opened. No one can tell me how the card got there or if in fact it was even in the box. I was given another number to a different person (I DO HAVE NAMES) to call no one ever answered or bothered yo return my call. I got a call 4 days later and was told they cant open the box for another week. I just moved to Texas and my bank card is from a credit union in Nebraska, I didnt have access to my money and had to call my credit union to cancel the card and order a new one which took an additional 10 days to get. The supervisor who did call didnt appear sympathetic to what I was dealing with, although he offered apologies that didnt help my situation, he offered to comp my meal for that order ($12) I had to max out credit cards to live until I could get my new card. The supervisor took my address and offered my grandson gift cards ( which I never got) the upper management never contacted me after 2 calls to them, and the whole ordeal was very unpleasant and unprofessional. I will never dine at sonic again the service was terrible my grandson ordered French toast and was given mustard instead of syrup, it was cold by the time we received it, as I assume they were in there looking for my credit card, no one seemed to care that this was even an issue. What ever you do, do not come to this sonic. I literally waited 35 minutes for 2 medium drinks, and its every time I go here too not just once. We used the app. We waited 20 minutes with no service. Our app connected to the menu board for our order. But no service. We pushed the red button to asked where our order was. Before we say anything we were told they were not taking any orders. We said we already paid by app. It took them 25 minutes to bring out drinks 4 drinks. The girl that brought them out did apologize for taking so long. She was nice about it. But wait was way too long for what we ordered. The other cars were getting their orders and we were still waiting. And we were there before them. No excuse.

As far as fast food taste goes in the area it s not great, but better than most except Chick-Fil-A. The customer service is lacking. Half the time you re treated like an annoyance for being there. No customary politeness or manners, which you get at most places nowadays. I told myself not to go here but my daughter Really wanted a strawberry cheesecake shake so I gave and she said her shake was good so ok my baby is happy but I ordered the chicken slinger just because I had t eaten all day and Im actually mad that I Pais fir it. This Sonic is the absolute worse. I never wanted to visit this one again after having previous bad experiences but it was late and after coming home from sporting events, I decided to give it a try. Both my kids and I threw away our fries and my son which really loves Sonic hotdogs didnt have the stomach to finish his. The food was way under cooked and service was horrible. If it werent so late and I needed to put kids to bed, I would have drove the food back up there and asked for every penny back. I would fire everyone in there and start fresh. Needs an updated look, new equipment, and new team. Corporate needs to come down and save this location or shut it down before someone gets severely sick. Theres my WARNING!!!

Asked for whip cream and no cherry didn t get the whip cream and the employee dipped their hands with a paper towel into the bucket of water and wiped the outside of the cup and then placed a drink top on the cup instead of the ice cream cup top. On multiple times I have been to this location and they either ask me to tip or just try and keep my change when going thru the drive thru. This is not a good business practice and the team leaders or mgmt need to explain this to the staff. I went thru the drive thru tonight, paid( $9.53 ), got my items then the young lady handed me $1.25 instead of $1.47 and told me they were short on change, then closed the window not giving me a chance to respond. So I just sat at the window until someone else finally came to the window. She gave me a quarter like the other girl should have. This is one of the worse Sonics in our area.

Very few cars at the redtarauntwhen I arrived, I ordered a slush online 6-7 minutes before I got there. This location deserves negative stars. The stalls are never open so you have to go through the drive through. They take forever and day to get orders out. The amount of time you wait makes it pointless to use the app to order. They forgot part of my order and my fries were so hard that you can tell they were fried, sat out a while and then fried again then served. A poor excuse for a restaurant. I understand being short staffed but from my many years working in restaurants and managing kitchens the lack of everything at this location is extremely unacceptable.

Worst sonic experience Ive ever had. If I owned this location I would fire the entire staff. I placed an order on the app. They immediately marked it as delivered (Im sure they do this to trick their management into thinking they are meeting SLAs). It took 25 minutes to actually get my order. I had a large order so while the initial check didnt show anything missing when we got home it was missing chicken tenders. I tried calling the store and they sort of answered. I heard them state, its Truman and he had an order earlier. Then they hung up on me. So I immediately went back and explained the situation, the manager gave me my tenders but didnt really offer an apology. When I told her its not right to get hung up on, she just stated l agree. When I finally got back my foot was cold and I tried my drink and it was flat and completely watered down. I was unable to drink it. Of course its not worth going back a third time for them to make it right. Avoid this location at all costs, I know Ill never be back.

Help me understand why Sonic always gets more contents of a drinks and shake on the OUTSIDE of the cup than they do on the inside???!!! It makes my hands all sticky. I can t put the cup in my cup holder because then I ll have to wash out the cup holders everytime. This is certainly a Sonic by every means to the name & brand. Usually when I go here theres always something missing from my order but theyre usually quick enough to fix it or I dont care enough to drive back. The burgers tend to be more on the dry side; I think the manager mass cooks the patties in the morning and serves them at lunch time but the shakes & drinks tend to be really good here. Ive strangely never seen the same face twice every time I pull through here. I cant really complain too much since I just get the same three things every time. The red bull apricot summer slushee tends to be not blended well enough but since its hot outside, it kinda gets blended by the heat of god. This is certainly a Sonic in name. Its strange to think in those terms. Ive have worse sonics, Ive had way better sonics. Just be sure to tip the workers & be patient when you order. Theyre running on a skeleton crew.

Ordered 4 corn dogs they brought out one then when I asked where the other 3 where they go back and bring those out and charge Me for those on their screw up. Poor customer Service wont be coming back to this location.

I went to the sonic drive thru on debbie lane, ordered a snicker sonic blast and quarter pounder w/cheese. The burger was extremely cold and the blast had ice cream all on the outside of the cup. Very disappointing. The drive thru lady was nonchalant about it.

Went to get a drink in drive thru the boy at the window took my card and disappeared in the back for a few minutes with my card, came back and handed me my card and a sloppy drink. At 0115 in the morning I get a text alert for declined payment of $55 tacobell doordash order. I haven t used my card elsewhere. Luckily I have fraud alert. I will be contacting the police.

Why does the white guy with braids ask you at the drive through if you want your change? Yes I want my change! No one from any other drive through has ever asked; its an automatic thing. You give the customer back their change. Only this location.

Went for an icecream and water while on the Job. Staff was nice but the resturant was drive-thru only. Why do the close the carports? Ice cream was a bit grainy, like they havent washed the ice cream machine that day. Prices were really good though. 6 bucks for large ice cream and water.

Took forever in the drive thru and when I did finally get my order the food was very cold and the burger was literally smashed! I ordered 2 large drinks also and was given medium along with the route 44 that came with my meal. I tried several times to call the store to speak with a manager but only got a recording saying the voicemail box hasn t been set up!

The worst customer service of any Sonic I ve ever been to in my life. It took 5 minutes to order and 20 minutes later no drinks which is all we ordered. Hit the button and 5 minutes later, no answer. Finally went to drive thru to ask them to cancel our order and then saw them handing our drinks to someone else. She saw us and tried to take it away from the customer and give it to us but due to Covid we said NO. I tried to call to speak to a manager and no answer. Very poor customer service! Avoid this location.

Ive had slow service here on several occasions. But, the last time I went, it took over half an hour to get 2 items and a drink! I ordered online, because I was in a hurry. I pulled up and checked in; it said my order was in the kitchen. After 20 minutes, I hit the red button. 10 min later, they still had not responded. No one had even come outside. I pulled around and walked up and knocked on the door; no answer. I knocked harder, finally someone answered and said my food was ready and hed be right back. A few minutes later, someone finally brought my food, but not my drink. A few minutes later they brought my drink. They gave me the wrong burrito and the wrong flavor slush. It was far and away the worst fast food experience, Ive ever had. Everytime I go its a new excuse. Out of banana pudding mix. The system is got down. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

Ordered drive thru & the girl didnt even read us our order back which we thought was odd but didnt pay attention to it since our order was only 1 crispy & 1 grilled chicken wrap. The 3 cars in front of us left & come to find out, they only charged us for 1 chicken wrap... As we were waiting for him to come back to the window, we clearly see two of their employees just texting on their phones. One of them with earbuds in her ear, both sitting on the counter where they prepare food. Freaking ridiculous that were waiting an extra 15 minutes for the chicken wrap which shouldve been in our original order to begin with. Total wait time 25+ minutes for that order. Ridiculous...no apology, no accountability for their mistake.
