5 stars for catfish (seasoned well, breading had a nice crunch and didn t fall off). 3.5 stars for Mac-n-Cheese (overall good flavor/consistency, a few noodles were burned). Staff answered as soon as I called. Order was correct when picked up. I do agree with other reviews about fries being bland, but who cares if all you want is a good piece of fish?

First off, this was my second time trying this place. The fish was fantastic both times! The chicken and fries were tasty but a bit too salty both times. The side that I did taste (macaroni) was just mediocre. They seemed to be out of every other side advertised, or at least they were this particular evening. The cashier was on her cellphone the entire time she was taking our orders, as her children ran in and out of the establishment. This place has the potential to be very good, but first, they need to address the things I mentioned above and be more professional while working on their customer service.

Overpriced for the amount of salty food provided. The young lady played on her cell phone, adjusted her shoes, played in her hair, and then restocked the area without ever washing her hands. She then went to retrieve the desert out the side refrigerator, open the container, and put it back in. I guess she decided she did not want it. I have never been so disgusted. I have ordered a funnel cake before and it was good. This time around, not so much. All of those dark brown parts were very hard and tasted burnt and course it did not taste good at all. Moved to Arlington less than a year ago.. LOVE IT HERE.. everything is right where you need it.. been craving catfish for months but everywhere you go cooks don t separate their foods when frying or cooking so I can t eat at a lot of seafood places.. asked if they cooked fish and shrimp in the same grease and the cook came out to tell me personally that he doesn t do that.. GREAT! On the way home the smell of the flavor was talking to us.. my daughter and I devoured our plates.. it was sooo good.. we will be back! What a rip off! Where to start? The Collins location has the worst customer service on the phone & in person. Argumentative cashier, the other worker was literally making a Tic TOC while at the counter... Unbothered. Ordered over $75 worth of food for our Drs office lunch since theyre very close. My love and I don t frequent this place for good reason. It s sad that we had to endure the toughness and unseasonedness of the chicken strips we ordered, plus the undercooked French fries, which had more seasoning but not enough for us to want to order again. I order fried shrimp and they were so over fried the tails crumbled. The fried pickles were just sliced pickles with a little bit of flour! They were barely fried. I also did not get my Mac n cheese with my order. I called them and they said to come back and get it. Well when I went to take a bite still in their parking lot it was cold. I ordered shrimp with fries and fried pickles, and the shrimp and steak fries with secret sauce. The food arrived but looks nothing like what they advertised online. Those are steak and shrimp bites. No seasonings on the steak whatsoever and that secret sauce is sweet. Way too sweet for some fries. The pickles had no breading was was clearly just dipped in oil. I will not order from here again. I wasted money, but I am not eating this. I will go get me some from another establishment, because this is nasty and just shameful. There is nothing appealing about what was delivered to me. Chicken tenders basket was very tough to chew. Fries were swimming in grease. The piece of bread was saturated from soaking up so much grease. We sat and waited for the food inside the restaurant, and I looked under the table and there were 2 dead cockroaches. Basic cleanliness missing - front door was covered in greasy fingerprints, looked as if my dog had drooled all over it for the past month; tables and booths are dated and feel sticky. I placed a to go order over the phone I m from around here but my husband is from Jersey, and up in the east coast they have so many good food spots because they re all hole in the wall places. That being said since he s been here in Texas he rarely finds food comparable to the east coast joints. So he decided to try this spot out and me I m just used to regular ol wing stop and stopped eating it because it s getting old but this spot here DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! My husband ordered plain breaded wings and I ordered the sweet red chili wings breaded and they were DELICIOUS. They had the perfect amount of breading and they were pretty good sized chicken wings. Also, they WERE NOT STINGY with the sauce for the wings. For sides I ordered the corn nuggets and they were so damn good! I also had the potato salad and that too was pretty decent, only thing it needed was a little pinch of salt but to each their own on the salt! My husband was pleased with the fries and onion rings he ordered as well! Fish pieces are too small and thin for the price. There wasnt much meat just a lot of crust. Probably not real catfish either maybe white fish. The potato salad was okay the only thing I enjoyed. The best part of the entire meal was the barbeque sauce and thats the truth. They have great customer service, and hospitality. There was a mishap with my order, when I called, I spoke with with staff and they apologized and offered me a new order. That was not my first time, and it definitely won t be my last ordering with them. I definitely appreciate the fix in my order! And the food is sooo good and worth it!

This was my first time trying this location and must say I was not impressed. First when I got home I noticed my order was not accurate and I had to go back to them in the rain to fix it. Then when I finally got back home to eat my onion rings were cold and my fish was super salty. This time I just chalked it up as a loss because I was not going back out in the rain again. Its very disappointing for restaurants to charge so much money only for it not to be up to par.

This place has fell off. I ordered from this restaurant using Grubhub like I have before. This time the wings tasted weird & they didnt serve the fresh cut fries. Not a big deal about the fries but definitely was overcharged since they werent fresh cut. I felt let down as I was looking forward to their amazing wings & fresh cut fries. Ill try them one more time hoping they would revert back to the usual menu items. Fresh is best!!!!

A baked potato, cut in half with cheese and bacon bits?!? Thats not a LOADED baked potato... I couldve made that at home... Then the lil girl behind the counter has absolutely no people skills... I hope she trips over her pink ankle-length braids and falls onto Collins St. during a busy part of the day!!! My people need to do better!!! I like to support black-owned businesses so ever after the bad experience I was still going to place another order for the pork chops but while doing so that lil girl couldn t even tell me what kind of side they had Telling me to look for it on the sign BYTCH what if I can t read? What if I can t see that well or I left my glasses in the car what if I m dyslexic and you just made me feel dumb??? The food was trash ! My boyfriend is vomiting right now as I type this review. The food is nasty and over price. I order a hot lemon catfish & shrimp potato. My boyfriend ordered steak & shrimp with club sauce fries. With a 6 piece ding basket. mango habanero breaded. Fish was definitely not fresh nor was it catfish. My baked potato was dry. No seasoning at all. Just butter.! The wings were definitely cooked in the microwave. Undercooked! Chewy. Like gum! And The special sauce that they added to the fries was not so special. Nasty! The mango habanero wasn t spicy at all. All I tasted was mango, and they definitely wasn t breaded.!

We stopped by and picked up a chicken tender basket and a catfish basket, and fried pickles. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and was nice and crispy. Its nice to find such a good fish and chicken place close to home.

I tried this place twice, and I am convinced that I am either ordering the wrong things or that maybe the food is good but not great. I got the Loaded fries with the Secret Club sauce. My main issues was that the fries were not at all crispy, its as though I was eating loaded potato strips instead of fries. The wings are nice but I did not prefer the lemon pepper flavor. I am disappointed because the pictures on Instagram look so good but Im starting to think that those pics are from Arkansas location. Lastly, the red velvet cake was very dry, it tasted like it has been in that fridge for weeks. I was craving dessert that night but I ended up throwing it away.

Everything was pre-made my whole order was done in less than 10 so the fries were soggy...then they poured lemon pepper all over my fries. They had more lemon pepper on my fries than on my wings. And they advertise real American catfish....They gave me FAKE CATFISH they gave me Vietnamese SWAI fish. So the fish was mushy. Place is disgusting.

Ordered on ubereats and it was DISGUSTING this place used to be sooo good I ordered two platters with catfish and wings the catfish is TOO SALTY with a Strong fishy taste absolutely gross , I ordered lemon pepper and mango habanero wings they gave me regular wing s on both platters that were slightly undercooked and I had just spoke with someone who told me to put my flavor preference in the notes , the fries had NO SEASONING AND WERE OLD, I also ordered a porkchop dinner with onion rings how do you mess up ONION RINGS??? they had a Strong after taste literally just disgusting I can t even explain it the porkchops were chewy and flavorless , they followed no instructions in notes I asked for everything extra crispy and well done and nothing was , along with it just being nasty when I had LITERALLY just called them and the lady told me to put what I wanted in the notes but they still just gave me anything, they literally got NOTHING right all the way down to my DRINKS I ordered a Dr Pepper and orange and received a cherry limeade and berry lemonade Sunkist . 0/10 wouldn t recommend things have definitely changed since I last ate here I spent over $50 for this food to be that bad literally enjoyed NOTHING

I got the chicken and waffle meal. I was disappointed with the quality of the waffle. It wasnt cooked properly and looked thrown together. It was in pieces. Oh man I was torn bc of reviews but wanted something new. I got it a new way to lose $25. I ordered a 3 pc catfish dinner with two sides and the Buffalo Bacon Shrimp fries. The fillets were so small and thin so I got mainly fish flavored cornmeal I only ate 1/2 of fillet of a 3 pc the fried mushrooms were so so and the onion rings were bland. The Buffalo Bacon Shrimp Fries they look smell and taste pretty mediocre the shrimp were about as big as the bacon bits I wanted my money back so bad they hurt my feelings charging me that.

Had to change my review from a 5 star to a 3. I called to order a 10 piece wing and the woman at the register tells me theyre charging more now for wings only than a whole basket which is $15.
