I attended ACI for their court reporting (voice writing) program. I can confidently say that the program provided me with the skills and knowledge to become certified as a reporter. The staff and instructors are always there for you and show genuine care about your success. Ms. Trahan and Ms. Lipford are amazing instructors with a lot of knowledge and experience. The school was very supportive as a student and even after graduating. If you are looking to pursue a career in court reporting, I would definitely recommend ACI.

I enjoy the Arlington Career Institute! I just started taking classes on August 19, and I love how organized my classes are. It is also beneficial that they are easy to access online. What a great start! Im finishing my third week with ACI in Court Reporting. The admissions advisor, Ashley P has been amazing from the first time I reached out to her. She is quick to respond, extremely friendly, and is able to answer all my questions. And she shows she really cares. I highly recommend ACI to anyone interested in pursuing a career path. I did the online class to become a CNA. Our teacher Mrs. Sandra was very informative she went over everything and explained in detail. if I had any questions they were answered throughly so I could fully understand. signing up for school was a breeze also Ms. Terry helped me with anything I needed. the school books also were very straight to the point it also comes with a test book so you can quiz yourself. I appreciate that.

Mathie Earvin was my teacher here and she was outstanding!! She was always willing to help, explained things perfectly and made you always feel comfortable. And all the staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend coming here. Im currently enrolled in the Paralegal/Legal Assistant program with a graduation date of July 1st. So far, everything has been great. The enrollment process was quick and efficient, my financial aid was explained clearly to me, and the staff responds in a timely manner. I started the program because Im interested in law and I need a solid career financially. I am a California transplant in Washington going to online school in Texas at Arlington Career Institute! I chose this school after researching schools from the west coast to the east coast. Arlington Career Institute is a great fit for me. They not only offer financial aid to qualifying individuals, but they were also able to help me find the program that was the right fit for me (voice reporting)! I appreciate that the course lists and costs are listed clearly on their website. This helps students to be able to clearly allot time and resources during the program. Lastly, everyone who works here is super friendly, accommodating, and well-versed in their field!

First and foremost I just have to say that out of all the schools in the DFW area that i have experienced , this is THE BEST one hands down. I completed the Medical Assistant program here ACI. I have to say the staff was AWESOME. They never lefted you wondering about anything . They were always ready and willingly to help you at achieving your goals. The teachers were very helpful and they made it very easy for me to understand the Medical Assistant program. Mrs. Waitemon didnt play about her students lol.. she was my mother at ACI . I have to give a VERY SPECIAL SHOUTOUT to MR. JANUARY... He is someone who is very kind, helpful and very supportive. He was ALWAYS there for me , he goes above and beyond for the students at ACI. He also treat you as one of his kids. He welcomed me, he was always so bright and there was nothing that he couldnt help out with. He got me through when there were times i wanted to give it all up. Once I graduated high school I wasn t exactly sure what I wanted to do; my Mother is the one who informed me of Arlington s Court Reporting program whilst she too was on the verge of graduating. After graduating high school in 2000, I began my college career in the criminal justice field. I had to put my schooling on hold after starting my family due to having to work-full time to support my two children. I have been working ever since and was always disappointed in myself for never completing college. I have been employed for the last 16 1/2 years in the public health department, and although I enjoy what I do, my passion has always been to work in the legal field. Now that my children are older, I decided to take the opportunity to pursue a career as a court reporter. After researching online, I came across Arlington Career Institute, which checked off all of the criteria I was looking for. Because of my work schedule and where I live, one of the biggest advantages ACI offers is the opportunity to complete the Court Reporting Voice Writing Program entirely online. I have the flexibility to work at times that best fits my schedule. From the start, ACIs staff was so helpful in answering any questions that I had. Ms. Terrie answered all my questions with the admission process, Ms. Laura answered all my financial aid questions, and Ms. Amber kept me up to date with scheduling and book information. ACIs staff members really care about their students and provide you with the necessary information to ensure a smooth transition process. Ms. Oakley provided helpful tips, Mr. Vecchio Jr. provided helpful information in regard to the student portal, and Ms. Deedee Vecchio has just been amazing. When I had questions about my course progress, she responded right away and answered all of my questions. When you reach out to the administrative staff and ACIs instructors, they promptly respond to you with the clear answers you need. Fortunately, I am nearing the end of the program. I have about one quarter and a half left to go. All of my instructors throughout this program have been wonderful. The instructors I have worked closely with have been Ms. Trahan and Mrs. Brownlow, and more recently, Ms. Montgomery and Mrs. Lipford. Each week, they provide you with clear instructions with all the necessary materials for you to successfully complete all assignments. If I contacted them just to double check my understanding, they always responded right away. They really enjoy what they do, and they want to see all of their students succeed. Whether you are just starting out after high school or looking for a career change, I highly recommend you attend ACI. They offer various programs that fits everyones needs. I am so grateful for ACI and all its staff members and instructors. It may have taken me some time to get back to school, but its never too late! Im so glad I found ACI, and I know you wont be disappointed either!

Energy will never lie to you and on 7312023 all my red flags went up, I see now why its a family owned business. When dealing with certain business entities you are to read the small print and pay close attention. I watch for the details. I dont expect to receive misinformation but when I do you loose my trust. I received a welcome email from Judy with Dear Someone elses name, not professional first impression email. I turn in paperwork without question, then I get a text please dont forget to turn in the paperwork, that I have already turned in. I return to senders All confusion spells times infinite. I have called multiple times to speak with Financial Aid about two emails I received about missing documents. Each time I have called Laura has giving information that did not and does not line up with what was said in previous conversations. Thats a huge red flag in my book. I have been waiting for a call back from Tommy in financial aid for almost two weeks now, red flag. Classes have not started, yet I can see clearly that anything I sign, I keep a detailed record, paperwork says one number, yet the price is actually another number, I do sue. Now with all do respect I did receive a call back from the Vice President of ACI, she assures I will be assisted with my questions and concerns. Just a heads up to whom this may concern, I am on a mission, I have a divine spirit team behind me and I call judgement in advance for anyone that trys to distract me or my goals. As above, so below. So mote it be. So shall it be. Ase To be continued. Up to date. 10/30/2023, I withdrew before I even started classes, I will never give an entity too much time to play in my energy. Terri McDougald with admissions has kept up with me over the years because she knew I was interested in completing court reporting which I originally started at a school that is now closed. Good news is the teachers do a great job of preparing you for real life court reporting. The bad news: its a small business basically, and they do not conduct themselves like a real school in terms of responding in a timely manner or meeting deadlines for federal funds. The excuse that our system is down is used WAY too much to actually be true. Its just a quick way to get you off the phone then scramble to do what should have already been done. Im already stuck here so Ill finish here. But Id recommend attending a REAL community college for court reporting school. Im sure they have great teachers too AND are more strictly governed in terms of how they handle financial aid than a small business operating as a school.

Thank you to Mr. Tommy January, Director of Career Services. I miss placed my certs for a job opportunity I have coming up and I needed them ASAP. Mr. Tommy told me that the class had discontinued and a 3rd party had what I needed but he would drop what he was doing and see to it that I got what I needed. After about 5 phone calls to previous instructors and former director He was finally able to get the information that I needed which then turned into a one minute phone call for me to get exactly what I needed. Ms. Vicki Little you are a one of a kind of teacher that has inspired me as a student to always strive to be better at everything I do. I highly recommend you to anyone interested in learning. Upon exiting Keyboarding class I averaged a D and was about to settle for it. You spoke to me and convinced me I could get a better grade, at a higher level of learning. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a ACI student. I made the decision to enroll at this institute to supplement my gap years before law school. I was able to become a part of the paralegal program and I have enjoyed the process. Mrs. Laura McCaskill is incredible and her classes are very informative and interactive because she hosts live meetings. Her classes are what has mostly prepared me through my journey in the legal field. So far I ve had the opportunity to intern for an amazing criminal defense attorney because of my degree plan here, and I recently landed my job with a family law firm with an opportunity to grow within the firm. The instructors and staff are so helpful and nice. They walk you through the enrollment, and acceptance process and follow up regularly to make sure you re you re doing well. Even the staff in the financial department responds to emails very quickly and open for any questions. Mrs. Waiteman is one of the best instructors that Ive ever had. Shes like the big sister that we all need. She does not play about education and those medical terms. Teachers are great but please be very careful of your student loan as they took out two years of loans after I graduated in 2012. Loans were taking out on my behalf until 2014 when I never stepped foot back on property after 2012 and taking my state exam. Since then, I ve graduated from a 4 year college with a $16k loan for my bachelor while I still owe almost $30k from ACI in the two years I was there. I plan on getting legal help on this as I don t know where to start. I wish newcomers luck and please be careful. I regret this daily and it s been over a decade.

I started in one direction and with the help and encouragement of my teacher I was led in another direction which turned out to be the best decision. I was in the first cohort for the LVN/LPN program at ACI, and it was so definitely worth it! My experience though, was quite different from many of my peers as I was pregnant through out almost the entire program from beginning to end. Even though I had every odd against me, every one of my instructors did everything they could to ensure my success and I can never thank this administration enough for that. I graduated in October along with my peers, and I just found out that I passed the Texas state board exam, so I am officially an LVN/LPN! I m so glad I made the decision to continue my education with ACI. If I could give them more stars I would. I dropped out of high school and waited till turned 18 and got my GED . I started my first semester at dcccd when Covid hit. I was really bummed but still very motivated to continue my education. When I learned I d be taking summer 2020 completely online I knew there was a chance I might struggle at the beginning but who wouldn t ? That s why there s available help from your instructors. So I took the courses and failed miserably. I lacked the help and support I needed and deserved at DCCCD. I truly believed community college was my only option for a very long time. Until I heard my neighbors success story with ACI. Being family owned and operated was a green flag right of the bat. It s very important to know you have people on your side who truly care and want to help the best way possible and I m confident I will have their full support with anything I need throughout my time here. Im confident I will succeed in their online paralegal program without a doubt. Fred was amazing, very helpful throughout the whole enrollment process. I took the CNA class. Because of the services that they offer, I am now a Travel CNA; I live in New York! I brought what I learned at ACI to New York----they actually think I go the extra mile! The truth is that I received an all-around skill set a ACI that taught me how to serve and treat the patients that I am responsible for. Mrs. Ingram is by far the absolute BEST instructor I have ever had the pleasure of gleaning from. She gives complete book instructions, as well as skill training; BUT she also taught me what boundaries for a CNA truly are--and are not. I learned to be patient centered; to understand the abuse of cutting corners, how to perform professionally as well as expeditiously, always with excellence.....I could go on and on...... I must say that the one-on-one with the career counselor has by far been the greatest asset to my career path---BY FAR! Because of the resume they helped me to build, I already had 3 job offers before completion of the class!! I was hired by a Travel Agency on my last day of class, the next week or so, I was in New York-----and I am STILL getting offers to date. Thank you so much MS. CANDICE AND MS. NORA .. So I was terrified to take the next step with schooling being older, having kids, and my grandma having dementia and not knowing what to expect. Then I met MS CANDICE A. She was the sweetest and the best. She guided me through all the process and never rushed me or forced me to join the school but instead she became a listening ear helped me with the pros and cons any questions I had she was there. Through out my schooling she s been the go to person I was able to pick up the phone for any issues. Great staff that makes sure youre readily prepared and cares about your success in their program! Candice, the Admissions Representative, made the enrollment process easy and enjoyable. The consistent communication and courteousness from staff was more than enough for me to enroll and feel good about it! Jamie Jordan was also a huge help with quick communication and providing necessary information. She was persistent with answering questions and concerns!

Im a recent graduate from ACI and now a Certified Shorthand Reporter. I absolutely love the staff and instructors! My journey with ACI was quite long, but the instructors were always so motivating along the way and, therefore, I never gave up. Even now after graduating and becoming certified, the support Ive received from everyone is amazing. ACI has truly become my second family. I know if I ever need any guidance in the future, they would always be there to help. This is such a great school to attend!

I haven t started class here yet but I can say Mr. Fred has me excited about starting the Paralegal Course. Mr. Fred introduced me to Mrs. Judy which was really awesome because I got to ask questions about the course I want to enroll in. The conversation with him was smooth and enjoyable. I really recommend the certificate nursing assistant program they offer here at aci. My instructor was Ms.C and she was very helpful. I was very overwhelmed at first and she was very attentive and understanding. She worked with me aside from others and also paired me up with another student who she knew would work better for me. Overall i am really glad instructor ingram was my teacher because she made this learning experience very helpful and achievable

I LOVE ACI! Especially instructor Ingram, literally one of the best and loving person ever. She made this class so fun and easy to learn. I love her teaching style because it really helped me grasp and learn the skills I needed to for the NA program. I m so glad I took this course here and met Ms.C (Ingram), definitely helped me understand the reality of becoming an NA and helped me plan steps for my future goal of becoming a nurse later on. I would definitely recommend Ms.C, she definitely cares for her students and made me feel very comfortable performing skills and asking questions

This is a great school! I started taking Paralegal classes August 2020. Ive had the best instructors anyone could ask for. Judy Brownlow, Vicki Little, Laura McCaskill, and a few others, just fantastic! Then, Candice Anzaldua has been with me from the start. She was my admissions rep, but then got promoted to Career Development. She has done a fantastic job! She got me an interview on Wednesday, I got the externship, starting on Monday. Im so impressed with how she manages the students. I just cant say enough about Candice. I just love her & the job she is doing! Plus, all the instructors, just love all of them.

Unfortunately this school did not work for me due to health issues and poor organization class schedules i love the teachers here believe it or not they are amazing however this school has giving me the hardest time when pulling out ive been waiting not only over a month for them to drop me out but they wouldnt go back to my original date which was February 26 when i asked to be out but they went back to april 1 because they didnt want to make it look like they wherent avoiding me turned around still havent signed paperwork that was suppose to be sent for financial aid and its going in two months now the career and development teacher kept failing me even though her class was through email and i proved 7 times i was infact in the class and she refused to change my grade i dont recommend the school i will be reporting this school to texas work force for holding my financial aid for over 2 months and not release my paperwork its been over 30 days so by april 30, 2021 i will be filing a dispute with this school which is heartbreaking i truly feel the teachers here are amazing but the school its awful would not recommend not only that you cant schedule your classes they schedule them regardless of you working or not they dont have realistic standards would last minute cancel classes and try to reschedule when its convenient for them if it wasnt for the few teachers here they would be out of business by now may 7th today still nothing on my fasfa that was suppose to be sent back and they lie to you and say they sent it back but when you call to see if it was sent back they will tell you no this school built on lies and other people money

If you are looking to start a career in the healthcare or legal field, Im here to tell you that ACI is the right way to go. I started classes with ACI a few years back but due to being a single mom and working fulltime, I was not able to finish. April 2020, I made the decision to finish what I started and thats exactly what I did. Its been a long journey for me. I went through a bad break up, relocated and even gotten to the point where I just wanted to give up on school. But, I did not. I communicated with my instructors and kept them updated and each one gave great advise like I was their own child and advised me not to give up because Ive come too far. Also, Candice was much much much help. She always encouraged me and always tell me You got this and hows shes proud of me. That alone gave me the courage to push through. I just want anyone who is reading my review to know that ACI is not just a school its more like a big big big family. Everyone there wants to see you succeed and grow in life and I love that about ACI. So anyone that is looking to start a new career and dont know where to start. Just know f you choose ACI, youve made a great decision.

I had Ms. Piper as my CNA instructor back in January. Ms. Piper did an exceptional job teaching our class. She was hard on us students, but she taught us how NOT to fail. I owe it to her for the easy pass on my state board exam. She taught us every RIGHT way to do things, and that there is no other option. My state board evaluator even asked me where I went to school, because I did that well on my exam. Thank you Ms. Piper, for all of your help!! Any student who has Ms. Piper as their instructor, has a pathway to success.

I took the CNA course at Arlington Career Institute.The school did a great job of making the program online during covid. Elva Piper was a fantastic instructor; very knowledgeable and tried to help out whenever she could. Candice was the best help and because of her I quickly landed a job after completing the course. the paralegal program will get you no where literally. also, it cost more to go here than to actually go to a community college. only one person out of my class found a paralegal job. the family who owns it has one of there sisters working as a teacher for the paralegal program and somedays she has a attitude an act likes she owns the place. she also, talks about personal family business which is a no no. instead of trying to be cheap and doing scandalous things with the students money they should pay real teachers who will take there job serious. I would not recommend you will get a certificate for nothing!

When deciding if this institution was a good fit for me, I came in for a tour and spoke to everyone including the financial aid office that worked to ensure I received as much financial aid as possible.
