If youre a breakfast person, this is your spot. First, lets get the big details squared away. Breakfast Brothers is open for breakfast through lunch. Its a quaint and popular diner, so I highly suggest avoiding the busiest hours. The seating reminds me of many NYC joints. In other words the tables are close if you get one. Service is the best. Tiara was my hostess when I visited. She immediately acknowledged every person who walked through the door. She is one of the best if I must say so. Shes great at holding multiple conversations and sharing info about the restaurant. I ordered the french toast with sausage and eggs along with a mimosa. Everything was tasty. The only not great thing is the straw. The mimosa is served in a mason jar and the straw is a tad too tall. Overall, a wonderful visit and highly suggested. It is a store front the staff are very welcoming the wait time was not accurate. As I sat down you can smell sewage, it wasnt strong but definitely you can smell it, I dont know how sewage and food can go together but whatever, moving on to the food the catfish and pancakes were 5 star, the shrimp and grits were just okay i am used to seasond grits not gravy poured on top to give it flavor. Free refills on drinks are a plus so overall I think its a good place of you dont mind smelling sewage while eating

The food was so good and well seasoned. I had the chicken and waffles with the red velvet waffles add the caramel sauce and the syrup and the waffles taste like red velvet cake SO GOODT!!! My family members had the pancake breakfast and it was delicious as well. The breakfast potatoes and the grits and turkey sausage was great. First time ordering takeout from here and definitely wont be the last.

The food was good. I d give my experience a 7.5/10. Only because the grits weren t the best. I like ordinary grits and I can tell there s was cooked in maybe a broth. I know some people like that, for me it wasn t my favorite. The chicken and French ztoast were a 10/10 hands down. The flavors were there. Overall I enjoyed the experience.

This place is amazing! The customer service, food, atmosphere and cleanliness is top tier! I had the red velvet waffle and it exceeded my expectations. No syrup was needed or required! My husband had an omelet and the cheese was melted to perfection, toast perfectly buttered and the last detail... the coffee was community coffee... that sealed the deal lol

I ordered the catfish & pancakes. Baby, that catfish was seasoned well (I really didnt need to add hot sauce...but did) and the pancakes were delicious. Teaaira was my server & was very hospitable. My husband and I just visited this location and when I tell you the service started at the front door. We were able to be seated quickly. The food came out quick and before we could even ask the staff were there to accommodate. We had catfish, regular waffles, French toast, eggs, & bacon. Everything and I mean everything was absolutely amazing. We also had mimosas mango to be exact and man I left feeling great, full, and ready to sleep lol. I will be back because their menu is jam packed with foods that I want to try. The staff there are amazing and worked very hard, as they had a steady flow of customers coming in and out. Parking: Plenty of parking as well as disabled parking. Kid-friendliness: There s a kid menu as well.

Really enjoyed myself at breakfast brothers. I had heard about this place for a while and decided to stop by. Had the chicken and red velvet waffles, the catfish and grits, and a pancake. The chicken and catfish were both seasoned really well. The red velvet waffle actually made you question if you are eating a piece of red velvet cake or a waffle. Would definitely recommend stopping if you are on the fence, just know it is a little bit of a wait sometimes. We waited about 30 minutes in our car, but its worth the wait!

Food was decent ..we had the fried ribs once. We have also had a few other items on different days that were ok. My family and I are huge on Customer Service and it wasnt awful, but for a place so small it wasnt on point either. The decor is very nice. Sadly, Its been quite a while since any of us have been and we live well within walking distance. Instead, we have started going to The Addy on Matlock! We will give BB another try maybe the beginning of 2025 to see if its better which we hope it is. I will come back and update this review then.

Breakfast Brothers was a great experience and a great meal! My queen and I ate here for breakfast this morning! The restaurant was not big enough for the customer traffic they received, so they have a wait list. The server told us we had great timing because our wait was only <10 minutes, but other times, waits may be as long as ~1.5 hours! My meal was the catfish and pancakes entrée, while my queen had the porkchop entree with potatoes, eggs, and Texas toast. We shared foods, so I enjoyed the well-seasoned porkchops and potatoes, and she tasted the pancakes and very tender bone-out catfish! Well be back! Parking: Its in a small shopping area so plenty of parking space. Wheelchair accessibility: The door is a simple pull to open and push or release to close but they have great customer service so if they see someone in a wheelchair, theyd accommodate them by holding the door.

Signed up on waitlist, which stated 30 to 40 min wait. Checked in and still waited another 45 minutes. The place is very small. There are probably 8 tables total. Told only one waffle maker. Told if french toast subbed then upcharged of $4. Why, if waffle maker is not available? Catfish was good. Grits a no for me. Chicken wings, eggs, French toast ok. The employees are great and attentive. The decor instead is nice.

Everything was A1 food was delicious couldn t even eat it all. We had the salmon bites fried pancakes was good with no syrup. Grits was soooo good strawberry lemonade was on point as well. Fried pork chops was good. But if u looking for EXTRA season on ur pork it s not salty. We had the catfish w/ pancakes and the biscuits and gravy w/ Cajun gravy. The catfish was very well seasoned, breaded, and crispy. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The gravy was unique and delicious(if you get catfish and a dish with cajun gravy I highly recommend trying them together). The biscuit was fluffy and buttery. It came up to $38 for everything, including drinks, but excluding the tip, so Id argue it is a decent price for what you get but not exactly cheap for two people.

Everything is delicious! I dont usually like cat fish, but its so well seasoned that I would come back just to try that again. The pancakes are incredible, crispy edges caramel sauce on top, and some fresh strawberries. The biscuits and cajun style gravy is comforting, and the biscuits have a fantastic texture. Truly food for the soul. The one thing I would critique is the hot chocolate. Its my go-to for breakfast, but I think its just made with water, and its just not for me. I did ent up stealing some of my husbands strawberry lemonade, and it was fantastic. Im definitely getting one for myself next time.

Breakfast brothers was pretty damn delicious! I loved my lamb and eggs plate. It was a little pricey ($45) but the meat was so tender. My wife got the red velvet waffles and chicken. Not my favorite. I felt the chicken was a little dry but the seasoning was on point. We also like our waffles a little crispier. The service and atmosphere were top tier. We enjoyed some late 2000 s r&b music and our waitress took great care of us. They changed out our order after bringing the wrong type of waffle. I d definitely come back

Let s talk abt it I ve eaten here several times and each time the service was trash. Black owned and needs improvement. Today they really mad me upset because how you know it s Mother s Day and run out of food. I placed my order online and it was confirmed at 10:14 am so why did I get a call at 11:15ish telling me my order couldn t be completed which makes zero sense. Why not turn off online orders so that you can account for the people showing up not sure of the other locations but this location isn t it. It s so small that only 15 ppl (at most) can be seated and serviced. If you are a popular establishment why not prepare for the rush of Mother s Day , that simply makes zero sense. Then to lack accountability on the phone and say oh sorry we re really busy well duhh it s Mother s Day and everyone wants to eat good hence why I place a pick up order because I knew I wouldn t be seated in a timely fashion. Maybe this location should be to-go only because it s no way you have the capacity to cover both in house and online if you can t foresee a day like Mother s Day being one of your busiest days. On a lighter note : if you do try their food I d recommend the wings and the red velvet waffles, fries are mid bc they only offer potato wedges, fried ribs weren t good bc they were just fried fat and fried too hard, fried rice is good , Mac & cheese is mid , and the greens & grits are really good.

While I was visiting from Virginia, my daughter took me to Breakfast Brothers for breakfast. The first thing that I noticed was how extremely clean the restauraunt was, including the bathroom. The second thing that I noticed was that the menu had so many incredible options that I literally struggled to choose what to order. Our waiter, Anthony was great, but also every other staff member smiled when there was eye contact. I ordered the shrimp and grits AND a side of french toast, because I couldnt decide. My daughter had the chicken and pancakes. We shared food and EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! I have been traveling a lot lately to various cities, including DC, New Orleans, and Cancun in the past 5 months. This was the BEST meal, that I have had! I will visit again or get takeout before I return to Virginia! Thank you for a great dining experience.

The too small space does not match the obvious the success. Several people at the tables didnt ha e their food and several was out side waiting on their food and waiting to get in to order. Now that we are in May my event is on the 25th of this month and I really dont think I should keep chasing them for a price for a 100pc fried wings. When the two of us arrived, we had to wait about 5 minutes before anyone came to the front to seat us. There was only one table available and the waitress had to clean it off before seating us. The waitress brought us our menus to look over. It was another 10 minutes before she came and got our drink order. The place isnt very big and it look like the waitress was working alone, so me and my guest was trying to be patient. She finally came over to get our drink order so we ordered our drinks and our meals. We waited about 20 minutes before our food came out. We both ordered pancakes, eggs, and I had bacon. I ordered my eggs over medium and they came out over cooked. They were really dry. I didnt want to send it back because I didnt want to wait another 10 minutes for 2 eggs over medium. The pancakes and bacon were delicious! The waitress attitude is really what made this experience a decent one. She was very pleasant. It was our first visit to this restaurant. Hopefully the service isnt always that slow and that waitress have some help. I will go there again to see if the service is better. They have more meals that Id really like to try.

This establishment is too small. Its very busy, I didnt like the fact that people came in, ordered food, and had to wait outside the restaurant. My 15 minute wait turned into 40 min. I got the fried pork chops, pancakes, cheese eggs, toast, and orange juice. When I got the food, everything was well prepared, fresh, hot, and well seasoned.. The chops were tender. I dont have one complaint about the quality, nor quantity of the food.

The best hot wings and pancakes ever. Its a bit expensive but its worth it. They have example customer service. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The restaurant is a bit small but doable. I will never get tired of going there. Trying to get my boyfriend to go and he will love it as I do. I just wish it stays open past 4. Ordered my food online to be ready at 1130 and hour and half pass and I send my husband up to pick it up at 1129, and its not even ready. Here it is 26 minutes and hes still waiting in line. Food is good but their time management is trash.

The service was top tier and the restaurant was very clean it had a great vibe inside the food was amazing that toast was buttered to perfection the lamb chops was delicious a little burnt on the end piece and they were very small I feel that it should have been at least one more lamb chop for the price but it was still good and juicy the eggs, potatoes, and grits were cooked just right as well I will be eating at this restaurant again I ll like to try other things on the menu as well

Ordered the meat lovers omelet and got a piece of fish on the side. The omelet had a bad texture, it was thick like a Mexican breakfast burrito which is not what I thought I was getting. It was supposed to have 3 meat and cheese inside. The meat they added was next to nothing. The omelet is so thick and firm I low key could pick it up and sop up some syrup. But wait, the fish I ordered had me fooled. It s fried hard, good presentation and they even put a lemon slice by it. I m thinking ok the fish gone redeem the omelet. Wrong !!! The initial bite was good because it was just crust. Excellent flavor. I messed up when I kept eating it and it had an extra fishy taste. This is catfish fillet. It s not even cut near the bone. The only way it could be that fishy of a taste is if the fish itself was old. So after a few bites I was done with that. I spent $47 on this breakfast, I normally would attempt a refund but the knowledge I gained knowing where not to take my people in the future is priceless.

The ladies working the front are very friendly. Made you feel at home. The orders we correct due to the attention to detail our waitress. They match their advertisement food for the soul. I was disappointed in the breakfast that I ordered for myself. I had the vegetarian omelet. IHOP does a better vegetarian omelet. The vegetables were cooked in oil. The vegetables were soggy. The potatoes were partially cooked. If there is a next time, I will probably order a specialty item and not a normal menu item. I ordered grits on the side. My husband said my grits taste better! I cook grits twice a year! Definitely OVERPRICED!

The food was good, but there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR them to be charging $45 for two lamb chops and mac n cheese. Especially when if I ordered a side of Mac it wasn t even equal to the price. I spent$138 worth of food and gave a $20 tip just to get home and see that they charged me 2 times the price for a RACK of lamb & only gave 2 lamb chops. There was no honey garlic drizzle or anything that would make this price worth it. I ve been to a 4 star restaurant and ordered lamb chops and got a plate of 6 with sides. This price for 2 and eggs is UNACCEPTABLE!

I Ordered catfish and grits. The grits were too stiff(I assume we got the cold batch since we were seated just before closing) and when the grits were replaced, they were too watery(it appeared water was added but was too diluted). The only item ate I enjoyed was the catfish, which was phenomenal. I will not be back. I can get great catfish elsewhere. $30 was not worth what I received.

I love Breakfast brothers. I brought my Father here for an appreciation brunch. The food is so good. My personal favorite are the veggie omelette. They even customize it to add chicken. Came here on Labor Day 9/4/23. The atmosphere is friendly with great music. The service is top tier with attentive and respectful waitresses. The food is delectable. I got the veggie omelette and added chicken breast to it. My friend ordered the pancakes eggs and sausage. We both enjoyed our food. I recommend this location to anyone living in or visiting the Arlington area.

The place is very small with limited seating. The food is over priced and looked at portions that lacked plate appeal I guess they have family or friends work for them, that had, No Personality or Welcoming Attitudes!. Had a really bad dining experience where the food was not worth the bill AT ALL! Chicken was rubber textured yet it was fried! The French Toast was cold and the potatoes were not seasoned right at all! Im a foodie so I researched this establishment. The reviews were not adequate to the food we received! Came here today for lunch, i had the Chicken with red velvet waffle and homestyle fries. Everything was amazing. I was so full i thought the button on my pants would pop off. The waitresses were very friendly and always had a smile on their face. Be prepared to wait, the dining area is very small, but i promise its worth the wait. Its time for a bigger building.... Ive been going to the one in Arlington at least 2 yrs now and the way people come in and out that door I know yall can afford it. Food is decent but two of the people with me got grits and both sent them back. Maybe add some chicken broth to them or something...
