Would NEVER go again. Manager is rude, (black guy with glasses) food is mediocre. Had a party of 10 and no one enjoyed the food. They need more staff. Waiting over an hour + for food. Lamb chops and ok, fish bland and doesn t taste like real catfish. Everything was mostly bland. You would think food would be immaculate at this place since it so nice. Now, the drinks are good. Everyone loved their drinks. Waited 30 mins + to order drinks. White male bartender raised his voice at my guest because they re tried to order a drink from the bar as we were headed to the cigar lounge area. You need to order your drinks from your table and he refused to serve them. They only wanted drinks otw out of the door since it was so hard to find our waiter the entire time dining. We were there to support this establishment and promote it on numerous platforms due to high profile content creators being with us. Only good thing going at this place is the ambience, mainly due to the entertainment. The band is insanely good! Keep in mind it ll be extremely loud but manageable. The place itself has great decor and very stylist. If they can hire new management and hire more courteous staff it would really POP and be TOP tier!!!

They also have a cigar walk-in humidor. The cigar smoking area is located outside overlooking the field. Was also told the menu will slightly change seasonally.

Attended for a private party on 7/27. Woman (only one) working at 20:00 threatened to call the security while using the restroom. She refused to accept that either guest was part of the private party and threatened to call the police if we did not leave the restroom. The entire staff needs some level of competency training before returning to the Arlington location.

This is quite a unique African themed restaurant and jazz lounge with a leisurely and unhurried approach to service. Located at the old Tx Rangers ballpark, a quick elevator ride transports you to the restaurant/lounge. Dimly lit with high end finishes, the bar area and dining room are reminiscent of another era, when time stood still. - drink service was quite slow, but cocktails were good - catfish and grits was extremely over priced and cooked with so much garlic, I felt sick for a day. Grits were tasty though. -salmon was average, a bit over done. - most of the menu seemed over priced- and we planned for an expensive dinner.. - jazz is advertised to begin at 7p. It started at 7:30p. Like I said.. very leisurely and unhurried. Our server also seemed to develop a bit of an attitude throughout our stay. Cannot recommend this place but you should try for yourself. There is potential here.

Visited for my 4th time on 6/21/24 and I was very surprised by the menu changes. The previous menu had more upscale entrees and sides and now they seem to mimic other soul food options nearby and its not that great. The decor, music, view and drinks were top notch as usual. Our server Trey was outstanding and still served us when we visited the cigar lounge to relax.

If I was rating the place only, Id give 5 stars. The place is quite amazing, the decor is just so fancy and I could have done a whole photoshoot in that place. The 2 stars rating is mainly because of the food, and not because it was horrible, but it is really overpriced for what it is... just plane alright food. The almost-60-dollar NY strip steak my husband ordered was just not too far from the one he cooks at home. The ambiance music also need a little attention, with a decor as beautifully done and a speakeasy kind-of theme, rap and R&B does not quite go with the place. Our request for some 40s jazz was satisfied and it made a huge difference! I may be willing to go back but it would probably be to just grab a drink.

Wife and I came here for a wedding anniversary after been wanting to try it since it opened. Walked in and we were the only ones there. Then again, it was Tuesday. Big place, nice. But doesnt scream speakeasy at all. Wouldnt even think it was one. Would have loved to hear the band but they werent playing. Didnt try any drinks. The food? NO. Got a NY strip and they charged $60 for it. There is no way, on Gods green earth, could you get me to order it again. That steak was MAYBE, at best, worth $15. Yet this place charges for steaks like they were Pappas, Bobs or Knife. Holy hell, not even close. I think Saltgrass may even be better. Wife had the salmon. Felt the same as me. Charged her $40 for something that was not worth it. For drinks and music? This could be a good place. For food? HELL NO. Find another steakhouse or go have some wings next door at Texas Live.

Poorly executed interior design execution. The intended 50s/60s supper club does not comport with decor (disconcerting) and 70s/80s R&B music tracks. Overpriced menu, poor selections, and shoddy bar service. Great idea, but it needs better, more experienced General Manager (GM) staff.

We Dined here on 5/12/2023. We had a very interesting experience. We typically look up reviews, and this time round we did and ignored all the red flags . Only for us to experience everything else that people complained about. Some of the Key takeaways: They have Valet, not complementary though. You will have to pay $20. They ask if you want to pay before or after. I mean why would I want to pay for service I haven t received yet? Second, we encountered Mrs. Flowers and Mrs. Katie. They gave us the warmest welcome and sat us right away. Even gave us options to choose where we wanted to sit at. When it got to the food, they only brought us One Bread. I mean why would you bring one bread for a table of 7? Then when we got to put in our food orders, we literally waited 2 hours for the food. Which was very strange b/c they were not even busy. We even asked our server if they were busy which might have caused the delay in the kitchen, and she said No. Sadly, we waited for 2 whole hours for our food to come out only to be HUGELY disappointed because our food wasn t even HOT. To make matters worse, one person in our party did not even get their food. They had to send a couple of people back to the kitchen to check on the missing food. One of us even ordered Medium rare lamb chop, and it was literally RAW! We had to send that back as well together with the cold foods. The manager finally brought out the missing food, dropped it on the table, asked if we were ok and just stormed off. No compassion or apologetic whatsoever. Once we were done dining, we asked to talk to the manager AGAIN, he came by our table, and he was very dismissive. He offered to take a % off our tab even before were done voicing our concerns. Which was very dismissive. Totally made us feel like we were just there to get some free meal. We even mentioned to him that we read through the reviews before we went there, and he acknowledged that they are aware of the customers complaints. The saddest part is they are not willing to make the necessary changes. Eventually, he took 25% off our tab which was a kind gesture, but he totally missed the point. The place is soo beautiful with perfect Ambience, but they literally must work on getting better staff that are willing to work.

We were deeply disappointed with our recent visit. From the moment we arrived, the service fell short of expectations. Despite being a group of six, we werent seated together. The manager, Darren, unfortunately didnt seem invested in resolving the issue. In fact, in my attempt to make him aware of his dismissive body language, it only resulted in defensiveness and him stating, By all due respect maam, you dont know me. Darrens approach to handling our concerns did not reflect the standards one would expect from a leader in the hospitality industry. The food quality was equally concerning. Several undercooked items ended up on our table. We had to bring these issues to the waiters attention on multiple occasions, and ultimately request the managers intervention. The waiter wasnt equipped to address the issue effectively. This lack of service is understandable when considering that strong leadership sets the tone for the entire establishment. It took three attempts to speak to the manager before these items were finally removed from the bill. Disappointingly, we were still charged for drinks. Overall, the management and service were severely lacking. Darrens demeanor did not reflect the professionalism expected from a leadership position. This experience serves as a reminder of the importance of quality customer service. On a positive note, the live music was fantastic. Its a shame the service couldnt match the quality of the band. The talented band deserves recognition separate from the restaurants shortcomings. Their performance was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing evening.

My cousin and I met here tonight, May 17, to meet up for dinner and catch up. I made reservations for 7pm. Red flag the manger walked around spoke to other patrons yet said nothing to me nor my guest when he arrived, I sat at the bar and was served by Zack and then Jaleel. Jaleel and a male waiter talked about how they were finally paid after waiting for a while but both were ready to work tonight. My cousin arrives, we had a few drinks at the bar and I was seated while my cousin spoke w/ Jaleel. He come to the table and informed he put his card on tab and paid for the drinks we had. The waitress comes up and asked if we had been served? She was the only one in the area serving the two other booths. So we quickly ordered, ate our over cooked salmon and dried out duck. I asked for a to go box, For $36 it ll get ate, she offered to box it up. I received my to go, which I ate 1 quarter of the duck I received and barely touched the dressing, so I had half of my order + a bit of my cousin blackened salmon. She came back with someone else s food, which was fried food and half a teaspoon of rice. I advised her this isn t my plate. She went back to check on where the remaining of my order was so we went back to the bar, I felt like either they threw it away or she kept it. She come up and advised someone ate my leftovers . Ma am I barely ate my food, and she brushed it off saying they make me sick. Who is they? You were suppose to handle it, she said she would return but didn t. We ordered another round and was ready to leave. I advised Jaleel I was paying for this round. He kept saying he was coming yet we waited I decided to check out the smoke area and he caught me coming back in and said I could pay since he was walking back in. He charged me for the entire bill $100 worth of drinks. I advised that it was paid for and I was paying for 2 drinks he stated that a card was on file but nothing paid. No biggie, paid and left. Asked my cousin about it as we waited for our cars, he showed me he had already paid for the drinks from his account. STAY AWAY! They take your leftovers and double charge for drinks. This place is CROOKED and FULL of scammers. Since they don t pay their employees an refund isn t an option nor receiving dried out food since they keep your leftovers. It s a joke and sad to see how this place has gone down. NEVER Again! Trash TrashTrash. All of the double will mean nothing since they re barely paying the staff, no wonder they re eating customers leftovers

The band!!! Hands Down made my entire night! We went for a birthday celebration. Party of 6-sat at two different tables. Reservation was made a month ago. Party of four sitting next to us at a table of 6. Ask to speak with the manager- when he arrived he only offered excuses as to why the floor plan changed and he just took over the restaurant. Our waitress just had too many tables to cater to our two tables. My salmon was slimy in the middle. The sweet potatoes taste like baby food. My pineapple martini was a lemon drop. The manager NEVER offered any concern for our inconvenience as we attempted to share appetizers and fellowship across tables for my outing. If you want to hear some great music this is the place. Outside of the music good luck. Royally disappointed I honed had high expectations for this place! The salmon is missing because they are still cooking it from 20 minutes. Which is the reason I decided to complete this review. Totally disappointed!

Visited Hearsay today and the band was absolutely amazing. However, the dining experience left much to be desired. The service was subpar, likely due to the apparent understaffing, as it seemed like our server was the only one attending to customers. Unfortunately, he lacked friendliness, didnt offer any recommendations, and overall seemed disengaged. We had to specifically request bread, which wasnt customary, as it wasnt offered initially. The food itself was disappointing; my salmon croquettes lacked flavor, and my husbands blackened salmon was overcooked. Additionally, there was an unexpected $4 charge for a side substitution that wasnt communicated beforehand. While we may return for the band and ambiance, the food quality and service fell short of justifying the price.

This place was hands down really awesome. 1. The decor when you first walk in is very nice. When you get to the main Lounge area of the decor is good in there as well. 2. We were seated at our table and enjoy all of the good live music. The Marcus Rockwell trio played some great hits. We plan on being there when they come back. 3. The food choices were very nice as well. Everything was seasoned very well. The food came out hot and in a timely manner. The only thing that was okay was the New York strip. It seemed like it was only season at the top. We also had the pork chops, lobster mac and cheese, asparagus in the sweet potatoes that come with the pork chops. The alligator as an appetizer was perfect. Hands down the best alligator Ive had. The bartender is also doing a good job because he wasnt stingy on the liquor. 4. Overall I really like this place because this is a diverse restaurant and everybody really enjoyed all the music.

Excellent experience at Hearsay. My group hosted an after work meeting there and it was great. It was my first time visiting but will be back. Parking is easy with valet but I decided to park at the stadium parking lot across the street. The valet staff was very attentive in signaling me to the location of the restaurant. Very helpful, you will have to take an elevator to the top. I was pleasantly surprised by how beautifully decorated it is, was not at all expecting it to be this nice! There are velvet curtains and nice sofas with plant decorations. The area where you enter and wait to he seated has very attractive golden tile detail wrapping all the way to the ceiling, beautiful! The atmosphere is intimate and you can have conversations without having to raise your voice. There are booths and tables that are cozy and romantic. It also worked well for our group as a buffer was catered there. The food was excellent. The fried chicken was perfect and that was a surprise, I was not expecting to eat such delicious food that day, I want to go back and that eat again for sure. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and the staff attentive. I am putting it on my list of go-to places for good food and decor. 5/5

The ambience was lovely. 3. The service was extremely slow. Too dang slow n they wasn t that busy. We had to stop her to place our orders n ask about our orders. Our food came out at different times. 3. The menu do not have a great selection of you don t eat pork or shellfish. I asked could I substitute my sides, she told be no but I purchase sides. I told I don t eat pork and she let me sub 1. 4. My salmon was salty and my broccoli was cold for the amount of time I waited. 5. It was not worth $27 parking or $70 for salmon n 1 drink (rum with pineapple juice)

This was a really cool spot for Arlington. It s located at the old (better) ballpark. You take an elevator up to get to it, and you re immediately submersed into a scene with some swagger. A little fancy in the right ways. The food was pretty good. We got boudin balls, pork belly, bacon Brussel sprouts (table favorite) and the fried alligator to start. For entrees we had the scallops, cognac braised short ribs, veal with risotto and the salmon (which we all agreed was the best thing that we ordered). I d definitely go again. We went to HEARSAY with friends last night. We had a wonderful time. We were seated in the Lounge and enjoyed the great sounds of The Marcus Rockwell Trio! We loved their sounds and selections. Our group had the Pork Chop, Steak, Salmon, and Seabass, with a variety of sides. We also had dessert; Vanilla Bread pudding and Lemon Meringue Pie were delicious. No complaints on anything we ate. All of our selections were great! Our Server was great, too, and made our experience even more pleasurable! He was knowledgeable and provided suggestions which enhanced our experience. Our Server and all our the staff were attentive not just to us but all of the patrons. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals and the music. It was my wife s birthday and we normally celebrate her birthday at one of The many outstanding restaurants in Dallas. Such as Del Frisco Trulucks, Oceanside, Nick and Sam s. Googling new restaurants we found Hearsay. They had multiple locations in Dallas n Houston (Or so we thought). In my search of locations I can upon a Thursday night special (or so I thought). This special was only available in the Houston location not in Arlington. I was told that the Arlington location was Not affiliated with the other locations ( but they are linked on Internet, very confusing on many levels). 1.5 stars Great stuff- the ambience is outstanding. I love the vibe of the restaurant. It takes you back in time, very classy and New York speak easy classic. 4.5 stars The service was outstanding. Mary( the manager) and Larry (our server) provided 5 star service . Which is hard to find. Bravo! The music was outstanding! Very appropriate for the setting. Two piece band with guitarist/vocalist playing n singing wide range of hits. Loved it! 4.5 stars Good stuff-The drinks were very good. We had margaritas n old fashions. Wine list is limited. 3.7 stars Dinner- we ordered fried oysters which were good not great. I say that but I enjoyed them all. Portion was very good, very shareable. 3.5 stars My wife had a salad with was delicious, she loved it. Mary comped our dessert .4 stars I had the Mac n cheese (delicious)crab cake ( full disclosure, my daughter lives in Maryland which means when crabs are in season we are there!) It was very disappointing ( I would not order again) Bland, tasteless, just totally missed the mark. (Old Bay, please)I was expecting lumps of crab based on the size of it and presentation (dissatisfaction) I am 100 certain that if I had bought this to the attention of our server they would have offered me another entre. Because they were very attentive and repeatedly checked on us. (Mary n Larry again outstanding service) I have to own the fact I didn t give them a chance to offer me another entree, based on the level of service they deserved that opportunity. (My dish1 star) Overall, based on all factors we will definitely come back and try another entre. Everyone deserves a second chance.

I am hoping this was an off night for the restaurant. Our first clue should have been when we called and wanted a 6:15 reservation and they wanted us to come at 7:30 claiming we would have better service. We made a reservation online, and have no idea why they would say that because when we got there, there were maybe 3-4 tables occupied. By the time we left around 7:30, there were only a few more tables occupied. The food was good, however, we had to send my husbands food back because the sweet potatoes were cold. They did come out warm the second time. We ordered the alligator as an appetizer. You would have no idea that is what you were eating...lots of breading. But the remoulade sauce was delicious. The chocolate torte was good, but you get a sliver of a piece. It is rich, but if two people were sharing, it would be a very small portion. My husband said the pecan pie was ok, but nothing exciting. He preferred my torte better. We had to ask for another napkin because my husbands was dirty. The spoon they brought for dessert was dirty, and I had to ask for another one. We discovered near the end of the evening that the tablecloth had dried food on it. We are pretty sure we didnt make that mess. The ladies room had one working sink. I went to tell the hostess to make sure they knew that, and they are aware but waiting on someone to come fix it. The server was very nice and did a good job. I was surprised that after one table left that no one came to reset the table for another guest. Maybe they knew they didnt need it? Overall it was an ok evening. We wanted to try something different. We can check this off of our list of places to try.

The restaurant is beautiful and musicians were great but the food was lacking. I had the ribeye that was mostly jelly-ish fat and had to pay $6 for steak sauce. My wife had the pork and it was overcooked and dry. I did enjoy the Scotch selection but we left The Hearsay hungrier then before we arrived. For the money spent my experience was very disappointing. I should have known something wasnt right when a worker said theyd rather eat before getting to work. Wow.

This centrally location speakeasy is just what the doctor ordered! Huge selection of wine, the decor was fabulous, very clean, very considerate and knowledgeable staff. They have jazz band play every Friday and some other nights. A cigar room that didnt look but half stocked. The outside section was awesome to view the old Rangers stadium. You will spend a pretty penny but there are options for the those who dont want to spend much. The cheesecake was 10$ and so worth it! Everything seem slightly bigger portions so thats why the prices to me seem fair and oh does it all taste good! Great for a date or business hang out. Will definitely be going back!

The ambiance was amazing!!! The layout and set up was warm and welcoming. The cigar lounge outside was nice as well. With all of that being said, I was extremely disappointed in the service. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and when it arrived it was cold. The restaurant wasnt crowded but there was a large party that required a lot of attention. We waited so long for the waitress that we had enough time to visit the bar twice for drinks. I would go back but just to sit at the bar and listen to the music.

I want to love Hearsay. We are Arlington locals and love Mercury Chophouse and loved that another higher end restaurant was opening that also included music. First - the atmosphere and vibe is fabulous. The details in the entire restaurant are above par. However things go down from there. The restaurant is meant to be a higher end, more expensive experience which is fine if they can deliver. The live band was amazing! However they start at 730 and it is VERY loud while dining. My personal opinion is to have music playing or a single pianist and singer play till 9 and then have a band come on. We were screaming to each other during dinner. The Food: Appetizers we ordered: pork belly, Brussel sprouts and the king crab. These were all delicious but the crab Id very sloppy for a fine dining restaurant. There were 4 of us and they gave us 1 cracker utensil and no wet napkins. Again a personal opinion but for what they are trying to sell the should have a crab served pre cracked and proper cleaning materials for guests. Soups & Salads: we got the tomato soup which was good and huge - 4 of us split it. We told them we were sharing and they only brought one spoon so we had to ask for that. We also split a wedge salad and Cesar. The wedge was okay but the Cesar was awful! Soggy croutons and very over dresses. Also we told them we were splitting the salads and most restaurant would separate them prior to serving. Dinner: trout, scallops, ribeye. The scallops were small but very good. The trout was okay, needed lemon and seasoning. The steak was okay as well, nothing too exciting. Overall the food was okay. We got two bottles of wine which were good and fairly priced. The biggest issues are that they just dont seem to care. There was 1 waitress for the entire lounge and she did great but obviously couldnt appropriately take care of everyone. Meanwhile there are managers, many bartender and other wait staff just standing around. We had to go to the bar to get our second round of drinks and ask for some other items. I truly want this restaurant to work but they need to tighten up their ship. There werent many patrons dining so there was zero excuse for us to wait or ask for anything. Everything seemed like chaos and like no one really knew what was going on. I dont think Id go back go dine but I would go back to sit at the bar and enjoy the music from a more tolerable location lol.

Had high hopes for this place but here is an honest review. The manager and staff are very nice and the ambiance is lovely. However my husband s steak (ordered medium) came out medium rare. They offered to put it back on the grill which is unsanitary and took so long we asked them to just take it off the ticket. We never ask for anything to be taken off the ticket but after waiting over a hour and a half for our food we were ready to go. The greens, crab cake and asparagus lack flavor. The mac and cheese and bread were the best items. Our waitress was sweet but clearly overwhelmed by so many unhappy patrons. There were several other manager conversations going on. This would be a great place to meet with friends, hit the cigar patio. The concept is great and if management takes reviews seriously it can turn around.

Went here a couple weeks ago to celebrate a friend s birthday, and Wow! This place is absolutely gorgeous. There s so much attention to detail with the decor, it s really stunning. The food was fabulous! The four of us shared the cheese curds and brussel sprouts. Portions were huge! I wish we would have taken pictures, but we all dug in too quickly. I order brussel sprouts just about every time I see them on a menu, and I have to say these were probably the best I ve ever had. Oh and they bring out warm rosemary bread with butter too. So delicious. We were all so full from the apps that only two of us ordered entrees, but again everything was great. We tried the gumbo and the crab cake. I ve never seen such a huge crab cake! It was very tasty, served over parmesan risotto. Service was top notch as well. The hostess was so warm and welcoming, and our waitress was such a pleasure. She was knowledgeable about the menu, made helpful suggestions, and made the entire experience very memorable. My only criticism would have to be with the signature cocktails. We each ordered something and all found them to be too strong and not well balanced. After dinner, we moved to the lounge to hear the live band. Music was great, but it was very empty. It s so unfortunate because it s a really nice place. I hope more people give it a try!

Very bad experience here!! - Beautiful place& soon as I walked in, I smelled some good food being cooked! I was the only person there beside the bartender lady. She told me I could sit anywhere so I continued checking out everything before I sat down. I eventually told the bartender that I would sit outside and she said that s fine and she would bring me a menu out shortly. 10 minutes went by so I took a few pictures of the place, selfies, old baseball stadium and other things outside. 15 minutes passed by now no menu!! I go back inside and I am still the only person here! ..however the lady at the bar is no longer there and there was a man that replaced her that appeared to be the manager making some drinks. He did NOT acknowledge me or make eye contact. I told him what happened and he said he would give me a menu ..however he continued making drinks while I stood in front of him waiting for a menu for 3 minutes! Needless to say, I just left!! Went here Saturday night during a game. Dont worry about parking because they have a valet on game days. You have to go here just for the gram! The ambiance is amazing, and there are several photo opportunities. It was my birthday and I wanted to get dressed up with my girls and I I thought we might have over done it a bit for dinner, but it was definitely the mood for this place as there were several women who also dressed in their best shiny dresses to eat here. But dont feel obligated, although there is a dress code, there were plenty of business casual diners as well. All the food was amazing, and I was happy to discover for fine dining. The portion sizes were still Texas sized unfortunately after a salad and appetizer (turned entree). I was too full for dessert! Their staff is very attentive and you can tell they really care about the restaurant. The manager gave us a tour, and we even had a small chat with the Mayor at the bar. We would have loved to go out on the cigar bar, but it was crowded after the ball game...so I guess that secret is out!

First visit. Martini in a warm glass; no McAllen scotch (just ran out); dinner salad easily large enough for two (will not split because they dont make money if they do that); Caesar salad floating in dressing; steak warm not hot & juicy; baked potato barely warm; ordered red wine, received white wine, bill included both; two of three coffees cold; asked for desert menu, received one menu to pass around the table; order taken at table with hand held electronic device that took several entries to get it correct; bill came on same hand held device, very difficult to see; $20.00 valet parking. This is advertised as a top quality restaurant. The prices certainly reflect that. The interior is beautiful, but the food and service need serious improvement. A fine restaurant has qualified staff to provide quality service at the table, not a hand held electronic device and operator that resemble a computer class. A very expensive mistake. No reason to return.

Had so much hope for this place. Took 30 mins to get our first round of drinks. My husband actually ordered a 2nd drink once the 1st was dropped off it was so long. Then the food.... while it was tasty, it took about an hour to get. Then the only thing that was hot was the sharable Mac n cheese, which is just Elbow Mac stirred up in cheese soupy c sauce and thick cheese melted on top. I had the scallops they were good but lukewarm, the asparagus was cold, and there were warm spots in the pasta. Hubby had the quail, which was also sorta warm but dry. The best thing on the plate was the greens. Those were very tasty! Mom in law had the bacon Brussel sprouts which was also cold. Then the oysters were 43 dollars, and there was NOTHING special about it. No vinegarette(sp), I mean something besides the norm of lemon and sauce. Drinks were not consistent either. For 300 dollars, NEVER again! Staff is nice enough but there would have to be some majors changes before we drop that kind of money. We have done Fearings, Perrys, etc, and have gladly spent good money for tasty food. This was not it!

The food was great. The service was okay. There was a lot to love about this restaurant, but theres definitely room for some improvements. Ill offer up an early tip to help you make the most of your experience. (Tip: Bring a jacket if you get cold easily.) We were there during lunch hours (noon reservations). The hostess was very good. They were not busy, so we were able to look around a bit. They have liquor lockers, which youll see in my pictures. They have a cigar room that is directly across from an accessible balcony overlooking the Texas Rangers field. Yes, you can have a perfect view of any game or any event happening from Hearsays balcony. The view is amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant is very pleasing. They have separate rooms to reserve for your private party. The wine room seats about 10 guests and the prohibition room seats 20. Our waitress was attentive to us, but there was a little delay between checking in on us. Each request took a bit of time. The restaurant itself was clean, and very beautiful. The bathrooms were immaculate and also beautifully decorated. I would love to do dinner reservations here. It is huge, so very accommodating for either a date night/guys night/ladies night. Id definitely go back for dinner. TIP: Be vocal about where you prefer to sit if you get cold easily. The areas closest to the window have direct vents that blow directly on the table. The food was delivered to the table hot, but it did not stay that way very long because we were right underneath one of those vents. We had an opportunity to tell the owner.

It s hard to imagine this restaurant surviving as a fine dining establishment in the competitive DFW market. Decor is tawdry, dark and gaudy. House cocktails on the menu have names without description so you re left to guess what liquor or ingredients are used. Service was just OK. Food was substandard. Steak heavily salted. Food was barely lukewarm. We deliberately cut our loses by passing on dessert fearing more culinary disappointment. Sparse crowd on a Friday night which is not a good sign. I can t imagine how this place will get diners to deal with traffic, parking and crowds on game days for the Cowboys or Rangers without upping their product substantially.

If youre looking for a great night out with delicious food, amazing drinks, and live music, Hearsay Arlington is definitely the place to be! My fiancé and I attended their opening night and were blown away. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the cozy, laid-back atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Accompanied with the incredible live music, we were already impressed. Starting off, the drinks really stole the show. Hearsays mixologists are true artists, creating cocktails that are both visually stunning and delicious. I tried the Joes Old Fashioned and was extremely impressed. My fiancé tried the Raspberry Tart which she loved, and which seemed to be a favorite among many of the guests. But what really set Hearsay apart from the rest was the food. During opening night, we were able to try a number of hors doeuvres that they would be serving, and were both blown away by the quality and perfect cook on each dish that was served. Our favorites were the Bourbon Molasses Pork Belly (incredible!) and the Boudin Balls. And of course, the live music was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The musicians were incredibly talented and played a great mix of classic and contemporary tunes that had the whole place grooving. I cannot forget to mention the staff, who were incredibly attentive and kind. Especially on a busy opening night. Overall, I would highly recommend Hearsay Arlington for anyone looking for a great night out with amazing food, drinks, and live music. Its definitely one of the best restaurants in the area! Excited to come back!

We had high hopes for a high end dining experience based upon the prices on the menu. After spending over $300 at the bar for appetizers and cocktails for a party of 7, we waited for 2 hours for our food to have it come out mostly luke warm. We had to go to the bar to get our own cocktails while we waited for dinner. We were not offered bread until our food finally came out. In the end 1/2 of our party did not eat our entrees. The manager offered to take care of the bill, which was appreciated, but too late. We did not receive the level of service expected for the type of restaurant Hearsay is trying to be. Perhaps they will grow into what they aspire to be, but right now, it s a serious work in progress. Side note the bread was great when it finally came out. It was also the warmest thing on the table. Most of the food did taste okay, just too cold considering how long we waited for it.

Parking across the street in Lot B was easy even with an event going on at Globe Life. Ambience is every bit as inviting as advertised. Pacing on food not there yet - same for food itself. Ambiance and nice drinks do not compensate for the price we paid for poor quality food.

I received an email about this place opening last week so I told my wife Saturday date night here. First impressions are everything and they ruined mine. I understand it s a soft opening, but it didn t look like they should have done the soft opening because they weren t ready. The first issue I had is there was no valet and you have to walk across a very busy street to get here. There was no game tonight and the parking lot was packed across the street to find parking. I am not giving them one star because of this. We showed up at 7:55. Reservation was at 8:00pm. Some person came by with water at 8 and didn t even say hello or anything. It got to 8:20 and no server even acknowledged that we were even there. No I ll be right there with you, or anything. We decided to walk out. 25 minutes of someone sitting down waiting is unacceptable. I called my regular place Mercury chophouse and they got me in right away. Upon arrival valet took my car and as soon as we got into the place we were greeted by very friendly staff. Our waiter Serapio was very polite and made me feel all warm like I was hoping for tonight. It s night and day. I have met Jim many times in Mercury and he did this place right. He will need to work on doing things here at hearsay like Mercury. I probably won t be back, and will continue to go to Mercury instead.
