We celebrated my daughter s wedding last weekend! It turned out absolutely the best weekend ever! I had read the reviews.. i had also read our contract! We knew what they expected and i did not have a problem with that. This is their home. And they help a lot! They were the best host and hostess we could ever expect! Gaye and Gary made our night extra special and the bride and groom had their perfect wedding! Thank you guys very, very much!

They dont allow you to do Sweet 16s at this venue! I called for rental pricing and information and the man laughed when I told him it was for a Sweet 16 and told me they dont allow parties for teens at this venue. EDIT: I GAVE A ONE STAR REVIEW BECAUSE INSTEAD OF EXPLAINING THAT, HE LAUGHED AND SAID NO!! MY EXPERIENCE WITH YOU TODAY WAS NOT EVEN WORTH A STAR, SO BE GLAD YOU GOT ONE!!

Nice place, but if you choose to get married here, just know they will come up to you while you re trying to celebrate and tell you that you owe them more money, they will tell you that you have more guests than what you paid for . They will chew you out for playing anything other than country music. They will escort you out before the time agreed upon. They will then call you the next day and tell you if you give them a good review, then you dont have to pay them more money. I do not recommend any business that acts like this. If you re going to be in the service industry, and charge people the kind of money you do, then you should just let them be and have a fun memorable evening.

We arrived at the Barn on Friday evening to assist in decorating etc.. The owners (Gary/Gaye) could not have been more accommodating. The facility was clean, they offered anything to assist and on Saturday during the wedding they were exceptionally helpful. The experience was welcoming and the views were exceptional. I would have a wedding/or any event there again. Thank you Gary/Gaye for making our sons wedding a complete and beautiful experience.

This place has got to be a 100% JOKE!!!! The Male owner is one of the biggest MICRO MANAGERS for a wedding Ive ever seen. We got yelled at for being in the kitchen, told the party is in the other room, if you are not clean or cooking GET OUT (Mind you were were gathering food gifts to pass out) Some kids got yelled at for being kids(made one cry). They helped themselves to drinks & food and had the audacity to be rude! $5k (FOR ONE DAY) to be watched and judged. One guest spilled some food, the Owner seen it and said we would not get the deposit back because of it. The owner locked the grooms room for what ever reason on us (with our belongings in it). The male owner walked around ANGRILY picking up trash after KIDS making people feel uncomfortable. Now no one told him anything because they did not want to create conflict on the Bride and Grooms big day. Unfortunately these guys need to make things very clear before ever renting things out on a wedding day. Here are some rules (Or dislikes) so you dont have to run into any problems like we did. No spilling anything for what ever reason. No one is allowed in the kitchen unless they are cooking or cleaning. If you have somewhat alot of alcohol you need a license to distribute it. Bring your own security to watch yall (The owner will be there too just incase a SHERIFF is not enough) And Dont park to close to the building. We were also charged $300 of damage fees BEFORE a single guest arrived because the owner knew what kind of group we would be... If you want to have an eventful day here, please get married and promptly LEAVE!!! DO NOT eat here. DO NOT drink here. I repeat. Get married and LEAVE!!!! The ownere does not want you here past that. Now I hate giving bad reviews because it is somewhat petty but on a Wedding day! Come on. No one should be treated this way, and no one should have to PAY to be treated this way.

Beautiful place but DEFINITELY not family friendly. Made children cry (I was present when it happened and had to console the poor baby with PTSD in the Wheelchair). Family and friends felt very unwelcomed. I personally was never attacked during the party because they had my money in their pocket which included many surprise charges the DAY OF, while I m trying to get ready. I was thinking for a few days on what to say about this venue but I have looked at other reviews in here to also see that one reason may be that people of color are not welcome at this location. I m very aware of the contract and sorry of some misunderstandings. Customer service is awful with these two. I tried my best to bite my tongue and try to enjoy the day. We did not hire help to run the party because my family is resourceful and we help each other when it comes to cleaning and cooking and other jobs that need to be taken care of. The bridal party was helping out my friends clean the kitchen when apparently one of the owners stormed in there claiming they were partying without wanting to hear what the groom needed to say on what was really going on in there. So there s the lack of communication that was constantly present. These people do need to learn how to communicate better. A lot of surprises (and not the good kind) please read these reviews before looking into here and think about your families. I feel awful because of their experiences. Many comments were given to me throughout the wedding about the owners. I am thankful for them allowing us to be here and stay as long as we could while also feeling like we re on the verge of being kicked out if we didn t cough up the money. If you want a more stressful place while trying to plan an event, this is the one.

Owners frequently made us and guest uncomfortable, they hover over your every move. The husband can be rude and abrasive when delivering a message, he micromanages your wedding. He wouldnt let our bartenders hand out our wedding favors (inscribed bottle openers) because he said people were just going to drop them in his parking lot. He would stop people from helping me in the kitchen telling them to leave. My family was helping with the wedding and I would send people to the kitchen for things that I needed. Instead of having a conversation, he just told people to get out. There is a room of decorations that the wife says we can use, they even unlock the room and have a posted sign on the door that says we can use them, however if you actually use them the husband hounds you down about touching anything, treating us like children. We never brought anything unapproved such as tact or nails, we are very aware of the rules and the last thing we want to do is ruin the property. We had a contract that said up to 200 people, well they said that wasnt correct or updated, not the package we purchased and charged us more 3 days before the wedding. They should have updated contracts that have the actual contract you purchased on it. Also you have to be paid up in full a month in advance which we thought we were, but the day before the wedding they asked for another $300 damage deposit check, why didnt they ask for that when we thought we were paid in full a month ago? If the wife tells you something is allowed to use, the husband will come along later and argue about it, they need to be on the same page. They held our damage deposit before the wedding was even over, before we had a chance to clean, he was mad about grease on concrete which we had the products to clean but why bother when he says hes keeping the deposit before weve even had the chance to clean. My guest was eating a taco outside and some oil dripped from it, he let her know that was unacceptable. We had kids being watched by their parents playing and he was very uncomfortable with that, took some decorations right out of my nephews hands who was in a wheelchair. He should not interact with other peoples children like that, ask us if there I is an issue, dont just take things out of their hands especially if they are in a wheelchair and you dont know their medical condition. He probably shouldnt rent his place out since he is so uncomfortable doing it. Obviously people should pay for any damages, that doesnt mean hover over peoples every move. The place has no air conditioning and for the treatment, might as well spend more and go to a different place

Our bride and groom spent too much money at this venue to have the male owner micromanage everything and lock the rooms which had peoples personal belongings, along with shouting at some of the males for crowding the kitchen while moving this. I do not suggest coming here unless you plan on having him down your neck every second. The female owner was super nice though! Also not allowing Shots at the wedding. Completely asinine behavior.

As a wedding DJ for DJ Entertainment, I have the opportunity to work at many venues. The Barn on Willow Creek is a great facility for weddings and receptions. The unobstructed views for the ceremony are perfect. The barn is the great venue for a dinner and dance, and the sunsets are unbelievable. I cant wait for the next opportunity to be there.

We love the Barn on Willow Creek! It was a great place for our daughter s wedding. Our guests loved it, as well. Gaye and Gary are so kind & helpful and treat you special, as though they don t do this each weekend. The views are beautiful and all the accommodations are great, and at a reasonable price. We also loved the decor and the large, wonderful porch. We definitely recommend this venue

The Barn on Willow Creek is a beautiful venue with indoor/outdoor areas that accommodate all types of people. Gary is very down to Earth and easy to work with. We had to change our date due to the pandemic and Gary worked with us through it all! He was always available, responds quickly and communicates regularly to be sure everything went as smoothly as possible. The venue makes for wonderful pictures because of its location. There is food truck access and plenty of parking. You get what you pay for and then some! I highly recommend giving them a call to see what they can do for you!

I would NOT recommend this venue. It is a nice location however they do not have AC inside the venue and failed to disclose. Unfortunately, I assumed a party venue had to have air conditioner apparently not. The barn is very hot and the one fan they have in the location does not do the job nor opening all of the doors. If I would have known this I would have set the party to start later in the evening instead of having our guests melting furiously sweating for half of the party. The worst part of it all was that the owners lack customer service. This was the WORST I have ever been treated in my life. We were told the fee we paid included cleaning. We helped pick up trash around the venue, my mother in law cleaned the kitchen and washed dishes. But apparently including cleaning in their service means us also sweeping and mopping since that is the only thing we failed to do. Excuse us for assuming again including cleaning in your service meant you all do the cleaning. To top it off the owner literally yelled at us as we waited for children to be picked up from the quincenera. Not only to us but to the kids waiting (guests) demanding they take the trash bands to the dumpsters. We own a business in town as well. I would never treat a customer the way he treated us, or talk to them the way he did. Looking over the reviews I m wondering if this might have been a race issue. At this point I m not sure but I was truly flabbergasted at how rude this man was. Mind you our party finished at 11 (early imo for any party) and did NOT have alcohol. I can only imagine what his reaction would have been like if there had been alcohol which usually tends to be a lot messier. I m sorry but they are much older and should probably not be trying to run a party venue if they are not going to the job properly, or be upset for having to work. Apparently, no AC in venue for so many people can be reported to the city....

I cannot begin to say how great Gary and Gaye are to work with. They went above and beyond for us during our wedding planning. During the pandemic, things were not going as planned for our wedding, and we ended up having to postpone. The week before our second date, one thing after another kept going wrong. They helped in every way they could, and they kept my spirits up the entire time. They were available anytime I had questions. The facility itself is a very nice, rustic venue, both indoor and outdoor. It suited us perfectly. I would rate this place and these people a 20/10 if I could!

My husband and I just had our wedding this past Saturday February 29th! Gary and Gay were nothing but amazing from the day we met them at the venue to view it for the 1st time. Gary was there for any questions along the way up until the day of the wedding. Everything was made easy and the venue truly speaks for itself. The view outside is stunning and inside the barn is to die for. There is so much natural decor that helps compliment all wedding decor brought in. Dottie is their sweet dog that is always welcome to lovings. We had our 2 dogs in our wedding and Gary and Gay were more then happy to allow us to do so. Set up for rehearsal was easy and Gary was there every step of the way to help with whatever was needed! The day of the wedding went off without a hitch and our guests could not stop raving at how much they loved the venue! Definitely a must for any couple getting married

This is the perfect place to host a wedding or special event! It not only looks wonderful IT IS wonderful!! We had my daughters wedding and everyone that came could not believe how beautiful the wedding was and we had minimal decorating. The owners are amazing!!! They couldnt do enough to help and make it a wonderful experience. You will be soooo happy with the venue, service and PRICE! They do not take advantage and you get more than what you paid for! Worked security at the event for a wedding. The place is beautiful and amazing, the owners are very friendly and on site for any problems that arise. This is definitely the place to get married and have your reception as the views are breathtaking and the staff goes well out of their way to insure that you have the perfect day. They even have a bride and groom room and the decor is absolutely gorgeous.

I would give this place a 10 star if I could. Venue views were phenomenal. I was the first wedding to ever book at the barn on willow creek and just seeing the progress it s made and how popular its becoming is so amazing. Honestly if you want a picturesque-looking rustic barn vibe, this is the place for you. So gorgeous. Gary&Gaye were the sweetest most humble host that made everything possible. Feels like they became family through all my wedding planning. Highly Recommend.

Gary and Gaye were an absolute delight to work with. They were very helpful through the process of making my perfect wedding and reception happening. They don t ask for much and give so much in return. The venue is new, so they re always adding on, and each addition makes it that much better. It s a very spacious area with a stage, bar area, huge beautiful chandelier, and country doors in the barn itself. They have two great patio areas for guests to linger and relax while viewing the gorgeous amarillo sunset, and it s on a large space of land. A perfect spot for an outdoor wedding!
