Great atmosphere, very inviting. The service was tremendously given. The food was fresh, hot, and made how I ordered. Flat style, extra cheese, enchiladas with fried egg on top. Ice cold Coke with 2 limes. The sauce was decent, needed a bit more flavor. Side of beans was alright. Also came with potatoes with peppers. A bit lightly cooked in my preference, they were ok.. I would definitely eat there again.

Food had no flavor. The best part was the eggs! Small menudo was 12 bucks and wasnt a bowl at all. More like a cup size! And it was not good at all! Bacon was so thin it looked like microwave bacon. Pancake had zero flavor. In all i would not recommend. High price for bad food. Not even sure how it has a 4.3 star rating! This is a 1 star place to eat if that!

What a horrible experience we had at this restaurant, I took my Family to celebrate Mother s Day at this place , I order menudo, my Mom Flautas and my Brother carne Azada. When the food arrived to our table the menudo looks Red like if they had add tomato sauce or something,I had my first taste to the menudo and was completely disgusting taste like fish and tomato sauce, like if the mixed the serving spoons in the kitchen or something, I just put the plate at side and wait for our waitress to let her know how my Menudo taste like , the OWNER came around to check on our table asked if everything was okay? I told him the Menudo taste like fish or something, and he said oh ! And just walk out like nothing , he didn t even offer me anything else , wish I thought was kind of weird and very unprofessional of his part , but anyways , finally the waitress came by and asked if everything was okay? I told her about the Menudo taste like fish and she asked me if I wanted anything else? I told her No ! She said I ll remove it from you ticket and told her Thank you ! Well when was time to pay , the Owner send her to check us out at the register, and she told us I m Sorry I have to charge you for the Menudo the OWNER don t want to remove it from the ticket, I ll told her is fine ! We just never come back again! Ones she charged us , the OWNER gave her the thumbs up , wish I found it completely greedy and extremely rude of him. I guess he really need it the extra money lol! I m sure he put the Menudo back in the pot to resell The other food was also disgusting Burn dry carne Azada

Well we re can i start we went for breakfast and I ordered the chilaquiles my husband ordered steak and eggs, chilaquiles tasted as if the sauce was going bad or sitting for several days not fresh at all the waitress was very rood and careless when I told her it had a weird taste needless to say I did not eat and nor did they care to replace my plate for something else my husbands steak was burnt literally like charcoal and the eggs where supposed to be over easy and they where deeply fried as the steak burned. Terrible place and terrible service. Oh and forgot manager ir owner whatever he was is worthless.

No loud music. Excellent food. High quality service. These are the things I love about Jacobos. Here you will find the best menudo in town. The caldo is a bit spicy with the right flavor. And Ive not found pata anywhere else. The horchata tastes like homemade.

I got a sausage breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and cheese sticks... I ate the whole burrito.. Now the hashbrowns had some kind of weird slimey texture to it. Didnt eat it.. Cheese sticks were cooked a little bit too fast.. Overall the burrito got the job done lol

Delicious food! Good coffee (not bitter instead smooth). Vegetables were available for breakfast! Veggie omelet and home fries (with veggies) were among the best i have eaten. And friendly, happy, tentative staff. Coffee refills frequent. Seems like a well run business. Thank you. :)

I took myself out for a birthday breakfast one Saturday go Jacobos Cafe. I was greeted and seated as I walked in the door. My waiter was amazing while I looked over the menu. Stopped in on our way home to Ft Worth. The food was good. The pancakes are really good. My wife had the barbacoa burrito, she said it was good. It was definitely a big burrito. Not too fond of the hashbrowns, they were tortilla thin, they were smashed flat and hard to pull apart so I had to cut with a knife. But everything else was good. Staff was friendly and attentive. We came in around 10am and were the only ones in the place so our service was quick.

Never been here before and I arrived after calling 30 min ahead of time, still waited for about 10 min but the workers were nice. I was disappointed when I got my food, hasbrowns were paper thin and rubbery/full of oil it was hard to tear them apart even with a knife. My sausage was way over cooked and hard. Menudo was eh, not much flavor. It was busy but these are all things that could be improved and give out better quality. Probably won t order again from here.

Jacobos Cafe was good. It wasnt write home to your family amazing, but it was good. Will I come back here? Yes. Will I go out of my way to come back here? No. The service was a little slow, but good. The food was okay. My barbacoa plate wasnt very hot when it came out, and the queso was very thin and runny... like too much milk or something? The decor was good, and the place was clean, the meal was just a *little* more expensive than I had thought it would be. Solid 3 stars.

We ate here 6/12/21 The rice was a gooey, clumped together mess. The cheese and beef enchiladas with red sauce was very bland, no spice or flavor at all, as well as the beans. My husbands said his huevos rancheros were not good. Served with a very liquidy-watered down red sauce with no flavor and the potatoes were not good. He said the eggs were ok. We were confused by the other reviews because we thought it would be good. Maybe other items might be good but not worth another try for us.

The service was pretty bad. The food was also pretty bad. I had the Rosie. 3 eggs pancakes haahbrowns and choice of meat. The eggs were little under cooked. ( ordered over medium i got over easy ) the hashbrowns were only cooked on one side. The ham was 2 small pieces. About 1 inch wide 3 inches long and about 1/8 thick. The pancakes were good. The syrup is water downed. All that took absolutely forever to be delivered. Waited about 45 minutes to an hour.

I like the beans they where pinto cooked down to a very soft texture (not mashed etc) I liked much better than traditional texmex refried. First time, will definitely be back.
