Everything is excellent! I am from Mexico, I came to visit and this restaurant is one of the few Mexican food restaurants that is very very delicious the rice is very well made and has a very good flavor! Omg, I m far away from Chicago and this place really does have authentic food. This is the first place I have found in Amarillo that does serve real authentic Mexican food. My mom had the chilaquiles with asada, my daughter had the quesadillas with rice and beans, I had the 3 taco plate of asada and my hubby had the chiles rellenos. Everything was great. Surely coming back when I drive thru again. Great friendly staff, great atmosphere.

This is my favorite place to go for tacos. I usually go during lunch and get their lunch plate. If Im getting my food to go I often like to sit at the bar so I can have a quick drink while I wait. Id rate the service higher but sometimes when I go nobody helps me at the bar. When I eat there the service is great so over all Id recommend this place. I also really like that the give you guacamole with your meal.

Went there for breakfast and got seated right away. Got our order which was cold and the asada resembled something of boot leather.Just a cut of the cheapest beef tossed on the flat top and cooked to the toughness of a cheap Walmart boot. Ordered the plate with eggs but they didn t come out with the plate. Once those were ordered they came out when we were ready to leave . Everything was cold and the corn tortillas were cold and still mushy masa. Left 3/4 on the plate. Taco Bell breakfast would have been better.

The experience was horrible bad service bad server horrible food I got the mole plate mole sauce was blend no flavor the shredded chicken was from another sauce and they combined the 2 bad idea chicken was blend and it taste la fajita sauce I returned my plate I got the sopes plate Sopes were a joke they were small and who put yellow cheese on sopes ? The enchiladas were delicious, as were the rice and beans. Included guacamole was also amazing. Chips were good but prefer more seasoning. The hot sauce had great flavor that made up for it. The fajita meat was the only disappointment. It and the onions and peppers just didnt have a lot of flavor and seemed under seasoned. The tortillas were fresh and delicious, though.

Had the Chile Relleno dinner plate. Lots of food and was very hot (temperature wise). My husband had the Burrito dinner plate. Both were very good. Happy hour drinks are well worth it. Simply spectacular I ve driven 1700 miles of my 2300 mile trip. I found this place using Google maps, based on the reviews. This is the numero uno spot for authentic Mexican food. From the Caldo de Birria to the tacos, enchiladas, and their breakfast, you know you re getting fresh quality food every time. The place must of changed hands, or the cook has changed. The salsa was mild, chips were from a bag, two of our dishes came out cold, the chicken fajitas had a weird flavor, the enchilada was cold and had a unfamiliar white cheese on top, our plates were cold which made our food cold. The only good thing was the music, the live players are gone. We won t go back again.

Best Mexican food in town. Probably the best Ive ever had actually, and Ive spent some time in Mexico and southern TX and CA. The bistec ranchero (bistec mexicana) is stupid good. They also have mole and great tacos. Abuelos (also an Amarillo institution) is a second choice compared to this.
