This is the best Indian food I ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. I got my Chicken Masala a level 3 and the spiciness was as hot as I can take while still tasting the amazing flavor of the sauce. The naan tasted hand made. Every bite was heaven.

08.2024 This place deserves 6 starts out of 5. Limited Menu, but everything is just perfect. Try anything and you will love it. Caution : spice level 3 is just enough even for a regular Indian spice lover. We tried Mattar Paneer and shahi paneer. Both were just perfect and exact same that you get in India. Service is fast and interior is calm and soothing. It s a fix on every Amarillo visit. Vegetarian options: Everything is super authentic. Go for it

I was trying to make a order over the phone. I called at 7:45. I was telling the lady to what I wanted to order I told her two items and the third item I had questions about while we were talking She hung up on me so I called back many times no answer And then I went to the actual location and told them is my order ready and she said there isn t no order and we are closed but Google maps shows restaurant closes at 8:30 PM. and it was still 805pm when I got there I didn t get what I wanted. She quickly made me one small snack item and it wasn t even good. I think they were trying to get there out of there and rejecting customers so they can get out on time. I liked it when the owners themselves are there. I feel like it s a much better service. Plus, why do I hear Mexican music at a Punjabi place?

The food and decor are pretty authentic Indian. The meal was fantastic, but dessert was mediocre at best. After eating the fantastic butter chicken, I was seriously disappointed by the dessert. The fact that I gave 5 stars even after being let down on the dessert says a lot about how good the food is... just dont get dessert.

Great food that can either be sit down, take out or even drive through! The meals are not very descriptive on the menu and its missing prices as well. But it seems majority of dishes that are curry style and half a bowl of the curry and the other half is rice. You get a yummy crispy brad and a hot piece of naan. The ginger lime soda is amazing!

We were lucky to have stopped here for Tandoori chicken. Got 3 plates of Tandoori chicken with rice and naan. Garlic Naans were super soft. This place had a drive through and is always busy. Orders are turned out really quick. The place is super small and has a quaint Cafe feel - we had to wait for tables to get free. Chai is dip chai and I didnt like that. Chicken korma was not to the south-indian palate as it was a bit sour. I got the pickled onions on the Tandoori side as I preferred that. The Boss-lady was super-friendly and so were the staff. Also, a super clean restroom. Worth stopping by on the way to CO!!!! We got to take cover over there during a hail storm on our trip!! Sad that Houston doesnt have such good Tandoori spots. Parking: Place is in an intersection, it might have limited spots, but you probably can park around. Kid-friendliness: Place is kid-friendly!

Its a place where you can savor Punjabi cuisine that feels like a homemade affair. I stopped here after a hike and visit to th botanical gardens. I was very hungry and the food did not disappoint! I ordered the chickpea curry and loaded samosas as an appetizer. Chickpea curry was more flavorful and mouth watering in my opinion compared to the loaded samosa. There was some ginger flavors in the loaded samosa that did not sit well with me. My friend had butter chicken and fish appetizer and she loved both of her food choices. My food was specified as vegan and they met my requests and WOWED me with flavors. Entrees are larger enough for a single hungry person or good enough to share with two not so hungry individuals.

We are heading back from our Colorado trip and taking a night stay at Amarillo then we discovered this restaurant. The food was very fresh and delicious ( after saying less spicy, it was super spicy )... And prices were also high compared to the quantity( curry portion was not enough for 2 people, which was around $15) So, all and all that was nice. Vegetarian options: They have limited options for vegetarians.

I have had a lot of Indian food across the country and I can honestly say this place is amazing. The food Was fantastic the curry lamb was very tender and the favor of the curry was spot on. The t butter chicken was seasoned perfectly. I will definitely come back here every time I m back in Amarillo. By the way this place is as clean as you can get and the restroom was decorated and very clean. That s for this.

Its a Punjabi Affair has always had incredible food and service. The owners are some of the kindest people I know. And theyve upgraded their outdoor seating area to be indoors! Now its a year-round possibility to eat in at Punjabi Affair. Try everything!

Great to see this place thriving! It has got fancy since we were last here 2 years ago, a nice seating area and a dog friendly patio. As always food is great, nice freshly & cooked, big portions with friendly service. One small hint, if you are heat sensitive drop one heat level. Great job!

First time to ever have Indian food and it was wonderful. Someone helped us decide what to have since we had never eaten Indian food. Great dining room that has been built up since the Covid shutdown but there still is outside seating available. I will definitely be back.

For my FIRST time eating there (or authentic Indian food in general), it was actually pretty good. Its better than I expected. The atmosphere is great and very clean. I was greeted promptly and answered any questions regarding taste, spices, and allergies. I brought the butter chicken (I was ALWAYS told to try that as a beginner, and Im glad I did! I took it to go, and it stayed HOT all the way home. I will visit again to try something different.

One of d best punjabi restaurant in the town..!! Went to colorado and on d way back to Houston we stopped here..! Food was yummy..!! We stopped here to grab lunch and presentation was yummy..! Lamb curry and paneer tikka masala was good..! One suggestion is to owner..! Probably you guys can use some quality indian basmati rice next time and Food served in Hot plastic bowl is not recommended.. Rice was little low in quality, but rest everything was very good..!! Good ambience for a quick stop..!! Will visit back again..!!!

Best Indian food in Amarillo and the new building looks amazing. The inside is very aesthetically pleasing. The restroom is in a precarious location but they do have one. The food arrived quickly and the service is top notch. I had the butter chicken and it was fantastic. I also had the Nimbu Laid, which is a very refreshing ginger lemonade. This makes for a great lunch spot and I highly recommend it.

All the food was fresh and delicious, cooked perfectly. Meat was tender but not overcooked. Its definitely more towards the milder side in terms of flavor in general they somehow encapsulate all the flavors and spices of the dishes very well without it being as in your face with the flavor as most other indian restaurants tend to do with their dishes. Definitely get the Gulab Jamun syrup is not overwhelmingly sweet amazingly flavored with cardamom and rose. Butter chicken is also a top pick dish.
