Stopped by with my mom to get breakfast for myself - she decided after seeing the menu to get something as well instead of the eggs and bacon she originally wanted. We were both extremely happy with our bowls, and the smoothies that we got for our elderly family friend ended up being a nice surprise for her (she especially liked the orange dreamsicle type). She ended up asking that we pick up a few more tomorrow for her CNAs to freeze so she can enjoy them once weve left Amarillo. Fruit toppings on the bowls were fresh and firm, if I traveled through this town often I would DEFINITELY make it a point to stop here for refreshing food!

Alright so for starters Idk what kind of cleaner they use or what in the world the smell is but its WAY to strong and stinks so so so bad! Like smells almost rotten! Then the customer service is not great, and the are constantly out of Coco Whip. There food is great which is the only reason I treat myself every now and then but their prices are outrageous! Your better off buying all the ingriedients yourself and making them which I have also done!

The food used to be consistent and great but I think its losing quality. Sept 1st I went in at opening like I often do on my days off and ordered oatmeal and an orange dream. The oatmeal was very bland, tasted like oats with water, I couldnt tell if there was any honey or cinnamon in it at all. The Orange Dream I ordered also tastes strange and not like it usually does. Its all very disappointing for a $22 breakfast. Probably not going to go here anymore now.

You know, Im conflicted. All of the good Ive ever gotten tastes good and is fresh. Im a loyal, regular customer, they know me by my order which is one of their toasts. However, over the last 6-9 month Ive watched the 2 big luscious pieces of toast go to 2 very small pieces of toast and TODAY it was one small piece of toast cut in HALF. AND YOU GUESSED IT, SAME PRICE, if not more expensive now. I get inflation and costs of things going up. And I have been patient with the smaller pieces of toast. But hell no not today. Wont be going back until they address this

Terrible. Ordered a nutter butter SHAKE no blueberries extra banana got whatever this is. It pretty much all blueberries little banna and not a shake. When tried to bring it up to the lady she wanted to argue and ask me if Im sure that I ordered what I want; when I said it twice and it still came out wrong. Watched them messed up 3 other orders and argue while there. I changed from one star to 4 while this experience was still terrible mostly due to the argument and attitude of the girls that day.. i have gone back and have gotten what I ordered correctly each time, and the shakes have been delicious.

Fruity and refreshing break from all the fast food chains but still super quick and convenient to eat on the road! Anyone passing through and tired of road food this is the place to go. The food is phenomenal, the owner is so sweet, and it s super close to the strip of hotel (about 10 minutes). I always try support local when on the road, give it a try you won t be disappointed!

I am moving away from Amarillo soon and the restaurant I m going to miss the most is the Açaí Bar. Everything in Amarillo seems heavy but this place is a breath of fresh air. Finally something light. The Monkey Bowl and the Classic avocado toast are my go to depending on how I m feeling. If eating at home, adding a splash of lime on top of the toast is delicious.

A nice oasis of health in Amarillo, TX. For the price, bowls are rather small but I m also used to large açaí bowls from Los Angeles. Also, the toast is pricey for just one slice of toast. Overall, The Açaí Bar caters to a niche group of health conscious eaters, but for those used to having plenty of options for açaí bowls, be prepared to pay more for less than you re used to.

Whenever I am in Amarillo I make a stop by The Acai Bar. The smoothies are phenomenal and the staff is very responsive and adaptive. If you want to swap out an ingredient they are more than happy to do it and offer wonderful suggestions. These drinks are clean and low in sugar. However, they taste amazing. Give The Acai Bar a try, you will not be disappointed.

Came in today to grab a smoothie, and I was treated like family! I got the Green Monster (celery, spinach, pineapple, green apple, kale and cayenne pepper) most flavorful and fresh smoothie I have ever had in Amarillo. I was blown away when the owner made me a perfectly miniature Monkey Acai Bowl to try, with my order. This stuff is GOOD. it really is pure fruits and vegetables, no ice filler. This was a welcome stop in Amarillo - a city quite devoid of lighter food/drink options. I was a little harsh on the quality and variety that this shop offers, but I realize that s because I come from a city that has many açaí options. My only complaint with this store is the massive number of ingredients in each item; at most shops, their bowls and smoothies have about half the number of ingredients. Also, the atmosphere feels a lot cheaper than most shops. This is the kind of place you grab a bowl to-go after yoga class, not sit down and converse with a friend over a morning bowl. That s ok though.
