The staff is great here. The rooms are clean. The atmosphere really laid-back. Ive stayed in a lot of places this would be one of my top 10

We totally enjoyed this hotel! Beautiful calm atmosphere, love the lighting and music. Room was big and spacious, nice change for a family traveling together. Couldnt have been easier checking in with your own personal key code so dont even have to check-in at front desk. Lots to entertainment for a family with teens. The pool is nice. Mini golf and other games to play, plus a wonderful gift store with the most friendly owners! Definitely would stay here again!

Cactus cove has an excellent restaurant and bar adjacent to the hotel. Food is wonderful. The hotel itself is in the process of being refurbished. But the loud banging of construction is non existent. The have an shuttle that will come pick you up and drop you off at your destination. At first glance, the hotel looks good from the outside. Inside is a whole new world. I almost thought I had traveled to a hacienda in Old Mex. They have done a lovely job at keeping things up around this place. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable, and they have many. Bathrooms are the same. Staff are really nice and as down to earth as you can get. I will be staying here again if I ever get the chance.

Wondeful place to stay and the employees were extremely kind and helpful. Feeding the fish, swimming, and swinging in the chairs were just a few things we enjoyed.

Amazing vibes, I loved the entire experience! A clean indoor pool, it smelled a little of piss on one side of the pool but wasnt too strong. The washer and dryer didnt work well for us, but they understood and let us check out a little later. Amazing dining area for breakfast. They provide hot breakfast for 7.99 or free continental breakfast. They ended up running out of the waffle batter, milk, and butter though... so wake up early or bring something of your own! They are currently renovating, so i want to give them credit for what they have. But if im being honest, it feels like good materials used, but a spotty job putting it together. None of the outlets in my room would hold my plugs, they just flopped about loosely. Then the shower was questionably contructed, the head was loose, and the ceiling looked like it was half-hazardly patched. Despite all the faults (which Im sure will be fixed soon enough), the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I felt really safe staying here and would come again.

Cactus Cove is impressive! With new updates and remodeling the place looks fantastic! Service everytime I am there is superb. I will definitely spread the message to stay here while exploring our city.

Very friendly and dedicated staff were attentive to all my needs and questions. The atrium and pool were relaxing and beautiful to look at, delicious breakfast, got the honeymoon suite which was epic with a giant shower! Can t wait to come back to see the bar and Grill once it s finished!

We had our vow renewal here. Although the space is beautiful, I do not advise having a big event in the atrium. The venue was extremely hot and humid due to the pool. We also had a dj for our special day and constantly had the front desk attendants telling my dj the music was too loud even though we rented the space for a wedding and reception and hotel had few guest. Tables were not out as we had asked and was promised they would be ready for setup at the time I requested. The groom suite was not as promised and we had to wait on staff to transform the room. On a good note, Anna and Maintenance guy worked very hard to make all the issues right and we appreciate those 2. Because of the front desk complaints we ended my reception way early.

Never rent the venue. They were so rude to us we had a band and a dj fir my dads 50th birthday party. They kept tell us that we were noisy and we needed to keep it down. They also wanted to shut us down at 11pm when we rented it till 12am. The people that where complaining was the owners of the establishment. The dj had benn there the weekend before had the same thing happened at the other party as well.

From Amna picking us up on the first day to the hard-working single Mom/Student that brought us back to the shop the last day, the service was A1. My husband wanted me to mention how great the breakfast that Lisa and Michelle prepared was. Excellent service, and we cant wait to see them again. To the whole staff that I had the pleasure to meet, Heather, Tess, Kristen, Hannah, Tess, Lisa, Sy, Michelle, Mirna, Mike, and anyone else I may have forgotten, we thank you for your graciousness and your spirit. We will never stay anywhere else when were in Amarillo! God bless you all!

I highly recommend Cactus Cove. The rooms are very nice. Very affordable; especially considering the amenities. There s a beautiful indoor pool & indoor putt-putt. A gorgeous lounge area, with chair swings, overlooking a waterfall. Live plants everywhere. If you re traveling through Amarillo, Texas, you need to stop here & spend the night. Super family friendly. It s also a wonderful event center! I definitely recommend. And I can t wait to go back!!

These guys are awesome ! Matt the owner and Chase go above and beyond to get my customers in a room quickly . They pick our customers and bring them back the next day which saves us time . Their rooms and rates are outstanding will not use any other people besides them . Thank you gentlemen you guys rock !

I just came here on New Year s Eve and they had a Mystery Dinner party. The ballroom looked amazing and the hosts and owners have done a really great job with the renovations! Can t wait to be back for more!

I highly recommend Cactus Cove, both their hotel & their event center. Their staff members are friendly, helpful & responsive. We recommend their hotel to all our customers that need a place to stay. We hosted our Christmas party in their freshly renovated banquet hall & found the space clean & well setup.
