It sucks!!! I dont understand why they took out the ball park. Then the play grounds. To make a skate park were no one hardly ever skates. An on top of all that cut down all the trees! Im thinking they did all that just to make the water holding bigger. Cuz thats all thats going on there 4sure. Playground: Needs work. Theres a big pipe of some sort sticking out of the ground by the swings have no ideal what its for r why its there. Toilets: R nasty all the time. No toilet paper ever. Just down right gross.!

This photo shares no Justice for what the park looks like now. I do not have photos but I will try to explain what I mean there are 2 or 3 up to date Slides, Place for kids climbing, Swings for all ages including toddler swings, standing see saws, 2 bbq grills, about 3 or 4 picnic tables all tables has Sun guards or umbrella coverage. Bring your own electricity for powering your electronics or music. Nice size parking. 2 games Sporting areas for Baseball or Softball. Trees for Piñatas. Trash cans. Has bathrooms one for each gender (At this time I wouldnt recommend using). Hope this is very helpful. Stay safe.

Martin Road Park is a great place to jog ,run walk the family dogs. My Service Dog, likes to play in the shallow water of the lake all the way around it. You also have the Ball Park there

We had a nice time, enjoyed sitting out on a nice day watching the kids have a good ttime. Playground: The kids always have a good time at the playground. Picnic area: Wish they had more than one picnic table at the picnic areas.

Not a great place for softball. 2 stalls only in girls bathroom unless you use port a potty. Huge mud puddle to step in getting to those. Food truck not great. Parking is a joke.

They should have tournaments somewhere else until done with construction. Or at least rotate the age groups so the same kids dont have to play there every weekend Toilets: Totally ridiculous Dog-friendliness: I have a Service Dog and they try to tell me he is NOT allowed!! B.S. He goes where I go.

Amazing park, swung in off the interstate looking for a skatepark and pulled up here. quite a few fellow skaters pulled up and started shredding. a father and his young then pulled up, with all there safety gear on, it was nice to see the young kiddos learning the tricks, very fun park though ramps are concrete and you can stay busy for hours here finding new lines, and practicing new tricks. friendly environment, it was pretty clean too.

They just came and destroyed our park replaced it with a big hole in the ground filled with water its pointless the ground around it is cracking all over its pretty sad i used to take my grandma here before picking kids up from school to feed and watch the ducks...... So much for that we cant even see the water from the parking lot anymore

The second skatepark built in Amarillo, TX! Has more of a street course than John stiffs, skatepark. I almost prefer this skatepark over all others here in town! There has been several attempts to renovate this skatepark but they never were completed. I would love to see this park have a rebuild and a couple new manual pads!
